Ha-Kyeong writes a letter to the judge at home on a thunderstorm night in Last Summer episode 1. She asks the judge to help her leave the place Pacheon. Because she hates the place very much. Do-Ha is on the plane. He’s going to arrive in Korea.
The old men protest in front of Patan Town Community Service Center. The town head asks Ha-Kyeong to go to stop the old men. Ha-Kyeong agrees to resolve the problem for him. But he needs to do something for her. Ha-Kyeong walks out of Patan Town Community Service Center. She teaches the people how to deal with the town head. She doesn’t know Do-Ha is watching her.
Ha-Kyeong returns to the office. The colleague thinks the girl is an ace. But the team leader Ji-Ae knows Ha-Kyeong is a troublemaker. Ha-Kyeong takes the people to see her house. She plans to sell it. Do-Ha meets his friend at the convenience store. His friend knows he’s going to stop the girl.
Ha-Kyeong goes to Pacheon City Hall. She gives a presentation in the meeting. She plans to tear down the walls of Patan Town. Everyone goes against the plan, except the mayor. She walks out of the meeting room. She gets a call from the realtor. She’s told that the buyers agreed to her conditions. She visits the realtor. But she finds out that the house owner is Do-Ha. Ha-Kyeong calls Do-Ha’s father Ki-Ho. She asks the guy why he changed the house owner. He explains it to her that he did it because his son asked him for a birthday gift. She tries to call Do-Ha. She remembers the past of them. Ha-Kyeong was sent to the hospital because she had a peanut allergy. Her father Ji-Chul took her to the peanut house. She ran into Do-Ha. Ha-Kyeong has always had terrible luck since then.
Ha-Kyeong hangs herself on the horizontal bar. She remembers the realtor asked her if she wants to give up. She texts Do-Ha. But she receives the money from him. Lee Seul visits her grandpa Cheon-Se with the food. But he refuses to talk with her. Lee Seul eats hot pot with Ha-Kyeong at a restaurant. Ha-Kyeong reveals she contacted Do-Ha. She guesses Lee Seul knew the guy came back. Lee Seul admits it to her best friend that she went to meet Do-Ha. She tells Ha-Kyeong that the guy doesn’t have any feelings for her. But Ha-Kyeong wonders why Do-Ha didn’t reply to her.
Lee Seul and Seung-Taek are in the car in the evening. Lee Seul guesses Do-Ha came back for Ha-Kyeong. Ha-Kyeong cannot sleep in her bedroom because of Do-Ha. She walks out of her bedroom. She receives a message from Do-Ha. He offers to have a meeting at the cafe.
The next day, Ha-Kyeong waits for Do-Ha at the cafe. But he doesn’t come. He sends his lawyer Soo-Hyeok to meet the girl. The girl asks the lawyer to tell Do-Ha to pay more child support. The lawyer reports it to Do-Ha.
The next day, Ha-Kyeong go to catch cicada with her colleagues. She returns home. She finds out that her dog Little Watermelon is missing. She calls Lee Seul. She asks her about it. But Lee Seul knows nothing about the dog. She offers to look for the dog with Ha-Kyeong. Ha-Kyeong rejects it. She runs out of her house to look for Little Watermelon. She finds him. But he’s with Do-Ha.
Ha-Kyeong is furious to grab the dog rope from Do-Ha. She tries to take Little Watermelon away. But the dog refuses to leave with her. Do-Ha laughs. He guesses Ha-Kyeong embezzled his money because Little Watermelon is so thin. He walks away. Little Watermelon drags Ha-Kyeong when he follows his master.
Ha-Kyeong takes Little Watermelon to the bathroom. She takes shower for him. She refuses to give him the ham because he betrayed her. He runs out of the bathroom. He joins Do-Ha. Do-Ha persuades the dog not to act so obvious because someone will be angry. He wonders why Ha-Kyeong asked for more money since he paid her 500,000 every month. She claims that he needs to pay for her labor. She asks him to help her sell the house. But he’s not interested in it. He brings up that she plans to tear down the town’s walls. He goes to take a shower. She’s surprised that she was defeated by him.
The next day, Do-Ha visits his father. He helps his father resolve a problem. He reveals he became the house owner for making Ha-Kyeong visit him. Ha-Kyeong meets town head in his office. She asks him to go to persuade the residents with her. But the residents change their minds after Do-Ha told them that the houses will be flooded if the walls disappear. Ha-Kyeong finds Do-Ha. She claims that she’s going to prove it to him that the house won’t be affected.

Ha-Kyeong takes the bulldozer operator to tear up the outer wall of her house. But the operator tears up the wall inside. The wall was built by her and her father. She wants to take the duty. But Ji-Ae thinks Ha-Kyeong cannot do it on her own. Do-Ha volunteers to help the girl. He and Ha-Kyeong fix the wall together. He tells her that he doesn’t want to sell the house. She has to sue him. Do-Ha finds Ha-Kyeong when she hangs herself on the single bar. He wonders why she hates him so much.
