Woo-Joo-2 visits the Bureau of Civil Affairs for the Certificate of Marriage in Would You Marry Me episode 9. But he’s told that Me-Ri didn’t submit the divorce agreement. He mistakes that the woman is testing him. He drives his car to Me-Ri’s house with the flowers. But he overhears that Me-Ri won the house. He visits Me-Ri. He thinks the marriage of her and Woo-Joo is fake.

Woo-Joo-2 meets Me-Ri in the house. She explains it to him that she let Woo-Joo pretend to be him because she couldn’t reach him. He mentions she’s not the one who would lie. She blames him for letting her be a divorced woman. He pays attention to the wedding photo on the wall. He asks her to break up with Woo-Joo since the real husband came back. But she hesitates. He’s surprised that she has feelings for the guy. He threatens to report it to the department store. But she tells him to do that because she planned to go to turn herself in. She wants to end the nightmare. But he won’t forgive her. He threatens to let Woo-Joo be a fraudster. She cries. She claims that Woo-Joo joined her after she begged him. Woo-Joo-2 hits the wedding photo before he leaves Me-Ri’s house.
Woo-Joo calls Me-Ri at the coffee shop. He asks the girl if she wants to eat something. She reveals she’s sick. He wants to go to the pharmacy immediately. But she rejects it and she claims that she wants to rest. He hangs up. He mistakes that his grandma’s words hurt the girl.
Woo-Joo returns home. He goes to see his grandma Pil-Nyeon. She hands over the papers to him. He learns that the J Consulting Company has embezzled the money of their company. She asks him to go to look into the company. But she doesn’t wish Han-Gu to know it. Because the guy was the one who recommended the company.
Woo-Joo returns to his room. He studies the papers Mr. Ko left. He remembers he saw the same papers in Han-Gu’s office. He wonders why his uncle concealed it. He calls his friend John. He asks him to help him confirm the J Consulting Company.
Me-Ri is in the office. Song-Hee reports to her boss that Myung Soon Dang decided to use their design. But she notices that her boss isn’t well. Me-Ri explains it to Song-Hee that she didn’t sleep well last night. She goes to make coffee. She remembers Woo-Joo-2 threatened to hurt Woo-Joo.
Woo-Joo is making coffee as well. But he’s at Myung Soon Dang. He remembers Me-Ri minded it when his grandma gave a speech. He plans to make the girl feel better. He finds out that Eung-Soo is teaching Won-Suk how to win a girl’s heart. He records what Eung-Soo said. He learns that he should give the girl a gift.
Woo-Joo calls Me-Ri. He wants to buy her a meal. But she claims that she needs to prepare the souvenir. He wonders when they will begin to date. She offers to do it after the event. He agrees. He tells her not to work hard. He hangs up. He receives an e-mail from John. He returns to his office to read the e-mail. He learns that the owner of J Consulting Company is Jessica.
Mi-Yeon meets the fortune teller. She gets angry after knowing she will be betrayed by her family. She reports it to her husband. She suspects that the person is her mother. Because she had a fight with her mother after knowing her mother planned to let Woo-Joo take over the company. Han-Gu comforts his wife. He reminds her that her mother will pass out if she continues to provoke her mother. He worries about her feelings. He promises to come back soon.
Han-Gu hangs up. We find out that he’s with Jessica in the living room. She blames him for being gentle to his wife because he’s going to divorce the woman. He realizes that she’s jealous. But she claims that she just suspects it. He tells her not to remind the woman. But she asks him to divorce the woman right now. Because she cannot endure it. He comforts her that they’re going to make their dream come true. He hugs her. Their son Henry comes back with So-Ri. Henry runs into the house after he saw his father’s shoes. Jessica gives some cash to So-Ri. Because the girl picked up her son and she kept the secret for her.
The next day, Woo-Joo sends a message to Me-Ri when she’s working in her office. He offers to have a meeting. She learns that Song-Hee sent the quotation to the marking team. But they didn’t reply to them. Because they don’t have a meeting.
Me-Ri is on the way to Myung Soon Dang. She runs into Woo-Joo on the street. He takes her to the riverbank to enjoy the picnic. He gives the drink to her. He learns that she’s not happy because of his grandma’s words. He comforts her that he’s going to explain it to her. Because he knows she did it for a reason. He catches the chance to grab her hand. But she remembers Woo-Joo-2 threatened to ruin Woo-Joo. So she lets go of Woo-Joo’s hand.
Me-Ri brings up what Woo-Joo said that she’s a con artist. She decides not to turn herself in. Because she thinks it’s a good chance to change her life. She also doesn’t want him to persuade his grandma. He asks her to trust him. But she doesn’t want to feel miserable. She breaks up with him. She leaves the riverbank.
Me-Ri is on the bus. She misses Woo-Joo. She receives a message from the guy. He apologizes to her even if it was her mistake. She cries. Sang-Hyun, Sung-Woo and Mayor are in the car. Mayor complains it to Sung-Woo that his poor mother wishes to live in the Beaute Palace. Sung-Woo promises to come up with a way. They arrive at Beaute Palace. Mayor gets off the car. He promises to help Sung-Woo as long as he gives him a house. He takes another car to leave. Sang-Hyun reports to Sung-Woo that Mayor has to wait ten months to get the house. Sung-Woo regrets for giving the house to Me-Ri. He asks Sang-Hyun to be heartless.
Jin-Gyeong texts Woo-Joo. She apologizes to him for meeting Me-Ri. She plans to contact Me-Ri. But he asks her not to do that. Sang-Hyun goes for a night run. He visits the convenience store. He orders a can of beer. The seller tells him that he can buy one and get one free. Jin-Gyeong pays the bill for Sang-Hyun. They go to the riverbank to drink the beer. She mentions the man she likes broke up with his girlfriend. He thinks it’s a good chance. But she’s not happy because she knows the man is sad. Sang-Hyun reveals he was given a task he cannot complete. Jin-Gyeong persuades him to resign. But he cannot leave the company. Because he did some dirty things for the company. He worries that he will be arrested.
The people of Marketing Team and Merry Design Studio have a meeting in the meeting room. Sun-Hee offers to have a meal together. Because it’s Se-Jung’s birthday. Sun-Hee and the people are in front of the elevator. Woo-Joo joins them. Se-Jung is surprised that Me-Ri doesn’t come. Song-Hee explains it for her boss that something happened to Me-Ri.
Me-Ri passes by the flower store. She sees the cactus. She thinks of Woo-Joo. Woo-Joo goes to the bridge. He misses Me-Ri as well. He drives his car to her house in the evening. He calls her. She doesn’t pick up his phone. She goes to the roof. She sees his car. She’s scared to return to the living room. She turns off the light.
The next day, Woo-Joo comes to Myung Soon Dang. The security guard stops Woo-Joo for confirming something with him. Woo-Joo goes to the CCTV Room with the security guard. He finds out that Woo-Joo-2 visited Myung Soon Dang. Woo-Joo is driving. He remembers what the security guard said that Woo-Joo-2 asked about him and the chairman’s relationship. He figures it out that the guy might have found something.
Woo-Joo-2 meets Me-Ri in the house. She asks him not to hurt Woo-Joo because she has broken up with the guy. But he wants to get back together with her again. He gets on knees to her. He slaps himself. He wishes to live in the house with her. But she goes to turn herself in. He stops her outside the house. Because he wants to get the house.
Woo-Joo grabs Woo-Joo-2’s arm before the man hits Me-Ri. He beats him. Woo-Joo-2 reminds Woo-Joo that he’s an accomplice. Woo-Joo plays the recording. It indicates that the guy is an accomplice as well. Woo-Joo-2 has to leave. Woo-Joo hugs Me-Ri. Woo-Joo-2 walks out of the house. He swears not to forgive the two.
Woo-Joo and Me-Ri return to the house. Woo-Joo thinks the girl should have let him know about it. He reminds her that she couldn’t resolve the problem on her own. She explains it to him that she didn’t wish to get him involved. He hugs her. He reveals he was sad after she left. He asks her to stay with him if she cares for him. She tears up. Because she feels sorry for hurting him. He wipes off her tears. They have a kiss.
The next day, Se-Jung hands over the guest list to Woo-Joo in the office. He’s shocked after knowing they invited the people of the department store. She explains it to him that Han-Gu invited Sang-Hyun and Sung-Woo. Sang-Hyun and Sung-Woo are at the airport. Sang-Hyun gets a call from Han-Gu. He rejects it because he and his boss are going to go to Japan. Sang-Hyun runs into David Lee on the plane. He learns that the guy resigned from the hotel. He reports it to his boss.
Woo-Joo meets his grandma in her office. She asks him to take the girl to attend the party of the company. But he worries that she will give the girl a hard time. She promises to let the girl taste her bread for free. Woo-Joo calls Me-Ri. He asks her to come to the party because he has confirmed that the people of the department store won’t come.

The next day, Me-Ri arrives at the party. But she’s nervous. Woo-Joo takes his girl to see his grandma. But Pil-Nyeon is very busy. So Woo-Joo doesn’t get a chance to introduce his girlfriend. Han-Gu gets a call from Sang-Hyun. He’s told that Sang-Hyun and Sung-Woo are going to come to the party. Woo-Joo overhears it. He informs Me-Ri that the two guys are going to come. He takes her to leave the hall. He offers to let Sang-Hyun know it since she’s going to go to turn herself in. But she wishes to let his grandma know it first. She offers to confess it to Sang-Hyun after they meet his grandma.
Pil-Nyeon runs into Me-Ri. She wants to have a talk with the girl. But the girl has a business. So she has to let her leave. She brings up that Woo-Joo is her grandson. Sang-Hyun overhears it. He tails Me-Ri. He calls his boss. He reports to him that he has a way to take back the house. He runs into Woo-Joo soon. He asks the guy if he and Me-Ri are real couple.
