Do-Ha thinks the summer is good until Ha-Kyeong tells him that she decided to go out with Soo-Hyeok in Last Summer episode 7. He notices that she wears a skirt when he’s watching the TV. Soo-Hyeok visits soon. Do-Ha is furious to claim that he didn’t invite the guy. Soo-Hyeok explains it to Do-Ha that he came to visit Ha-Kyeong. Ha-Kyeong leaves with Soo-Hyeok. She asks Do-Ha not to forget to turn off the TV.
Do-Ha returns to the house. Fortunately, Little Watermelon accompanies Do-Ha. But Do-Ha still thinks it’s a terrible summer. Soo-Hyeok and Ha-Kyeong are in the car. Soo-Hyeok brings up that he heard it from Do-Ha that Ha-Kyeong decided to date him. He reveals he was startled. He takes her to a bright restaurant. They leave the restaurant after they had lunch. Soo-Hyeok says that he doesn’t mind to date Ha-Kyeong even if she and Do-Ha were in love. Because he doesn’t love her.
Ha-Kyeong returns home in the evening when Do-Ha is watering the tree. He follows her into the house. He thinks she did it for sending him away. But he’s told that she dated Soo-Hyeok because the guy is very innocent. He mentions she liked him in the beginning. But she denies it. He asks her to arrange a meeting up for him and Soo-Hyeok.
Do-Ha goes to the field to cheer Seung-Taek on. But he sees Soo-Hyeok sitting with Ha-Kyeong. He’s not happy with it. He teases Soo-Hyeok that he has a lot of free time. Soo-Hyeok claims that he should have come even if he’s busy. Because Seung-Taek is Ha-Kyeong’s friend.
Do-Ha finds Soo-Hyeok in the restroom. He doesn’t understand why the guy likes Ha-Kyeong. He’s told that Ha-Kyeong is very charming. Lee Seul finds Seung-Taek. She lifts his clothes. She sees the injury. She takes him to the hospital. She feels guilty. Because she’s his girlfriend. She persuades him to give up the training.
Ha-Kyeong and Soo-Hyeok are on the way to the peanut house. Do-Ha calls Ha-Kyeong. He asks her to clean the common area with him. She should do that, according to the contract she signed. Soo-Hyeok reads the contract at the peanut house. He thinks one of the clauses is terrible. Ha-Kyeong is furious to have a fight with Do-Ha after the guy insisted on doing everything together.
Ha-Kyeong takes Soo-Hyeok to her room. He finds the book of her first love. He mentions she didn’t care for him at all when she was in front of Do-Ha. He expresses that he doesn’t want to be the cupid. She sees him off outside the house. She apologizes to him for what Do-Ha did to him. He admits that he wasn’t happy. He guesses he was jealous. Ha-Kyeong returns to the house. She asks Do-Ha to go back to the United States. She welcomes him to visit her. But he’s just her guest.
The next day, Village Chief Jo visits Do-Ha. Do-Ha is surprised. He goes to work for Village Chief Jo. He wonders if he looks like a guest. Village Chief Jo puts a hat on Do-Ha. Do-Ha returns home. Ha-Kyeong isn’t in the house. Little Watermelon welcomes his master.
The next day, the town head has a meeting with the Patan residents. He offers to build a drainage ditch. But Do-Ha stops the town head. He claims that he’s one of the Patan residents. He gives some ideas. The town head doesn’t like the guy. He thinks Do-Ha is a tough guy like Ha-Kyeong. Do-Ha and Village Chief Shin are on the tractor. Village Chief Shin thinks Do-Ha isn’t match for Ha-Kyeong. Because the girl changed the chairs at the bus stop for the residents. Ha-Kyeong runs into Do-Ha. She’s surprised.
Ha-Kyeong and Do-Ha are at home. Do-Ha brings up that he became a master’s degree holder. He wonders if he’s still a guest. He thinks Ha-Kyeong returned home very late because she pretends he doesn’t exist. She asks him to leave since he has known what she means. He mentions she promised him that she will put him first in summer. She takes out the food from the fridge. She mentions what her mother told her to be nice to guests. She puts the food on the table. She asks him to eat it. He gets angry because she pretended to be a good person suddenly.
Do-Ha returns to his room. He remembers Ha-Kyeong was very happy after he came back. He thinks he waits for the summer because he was in a cold place. But Ha-Kyeong leaves the summer. Ha-Kyeong is in her room. She contacts So-Hee.
The next, So-Hee and Ha-Kyeong have a meeting at a cafe. Ha-Kyeong blames So-Hee for not doing her job well. Because Do-Ha doesn’t leave. So-Hee explains it to Ha-Kyeong that she doesn’t know the Do-Ha on the land. Ha-Kyeong doesn’t know the guy as well. So-Hee mentions Do-Ha didn’t tear down his memory. She asks Ha-Kyeong if she knows why Do-Ha did that.
Ha-Kyeong and Do-Ha have a meeting at the construction site. Ha-Kyeong thinks she doesn’t need to meet Do-Ha. Because he completed his design. She promises to handle the work with the team leader Jong-Shin. But he insists on attending the meetings. She doesn’t go against it. She leaves. Jong-Shin walks Do-Ha. He mentions it’s a good thing that they kicked Nam-Jin out of the project. But he notices that Do-Ha isn’t happy. Do-Ha asks Jong-Shin to do the job for him before he leaves.
Do-Ha accompanies Seung-Taek on a walk at the hospital. He regrets for letting Seung-Taek introduce Soo-Hyeok to Ha-Kyeong. He complains it to Seung-Taek that Ha-Kyeong only worked. But Lee Seul points out that Ha-Kyeong is dating her boyfriend. She pushes Do-Ha aside. She mentions he’s the guy who missed the chance. It promotes her to wonder whose side she takes. She claims that she takes Ha-Kyeong’s side. She mentions he doesn’t confirm the relationship after twenty years. Do-Ha leaves. Lee Seul tells Seung-Taek that she wanted to give Do-Ha a lesson. She offers to go to watch the Summer Triangle. He finds out that she’s pretty when he looks up at her.
Ha-Kyeong returns home in the evening. Lee Seul calls Ha-Kyeong. She asks her to look for the photos for her. She feels sorry because she knows she will be hurt. But she and Seung-Taek need the photos very much. Ha-Kyeong opens a box. She sees a photo. She remembers she and Do-Yeong talked about Do-Ha.
The next day, Do-Ha and his colleagues are on the way to the construction site. He’s told that So-Hee helped them a lot. Do-Ha scolds Park Hyun at the construction after the boy made a mistake. Ha-Kyeong witnesses it. So-Hee tries to persuade Do-Ha. But he claims that what he did is right.
Ha-Kyeong is on the bus. She watches the footage of Do-Ha’s mother. She learns that the madam couldn’t work because of the accident. She remembers the words Do-Ha told So-Hee. He emphasized that safety is very important. Ha-Kyeong takes Soo-Hyeok to the restaurant. She tastes the food Do-Yeong recommended. But she finds out that the food is nothing special. Soo-Hyeok mistakes Do-Yeong for Ha-Kyeong’s ex-boyfriend. Because she’s excited when she talks about the guy. He’s told that Do-Yeong was just Ha-Kyeong’s friend.
Ha-Kyeong complained it to Do-Yeong that she always gets angry when she was with Do-Ha. He guessed she did it for a reason. Ha-Kyeong tells Soo-Hyeok that she can say anything when she’s with him. She thinks it’s weird. She returns to the school after she was told that the students brought trouble again. Do-Ha calls Ha-Kyeong at home. She doesn’t pick up his phone. So he contacts Lee Seul. He’s told that Ha-Kyeong is dating Soo-Hyeok.
Ha-Kyeong is startled by someone in the school. She trips. Her arm is hurt by the blunt weapon. She’s sent to the hospital. Soo-Hyeok arrives at the hospital. He finds out that she’s dressing the wound on her own. She asks him not to tell it to Do-Ha. Because she knows the guy is sensitive to accidents.

The next day, Do-Ha is anxious in his office. Soo-Hyeok contacts Do-Ha. Do-Ha is told that Ha-Kyeong is hospitalized. He walks into the ward. He blames Ha-Kyeong for not telling it to him. But she thinks she should have called Soo-Hyeok. He’s furious to yell at her. The two are outside the building. Do-Ha guesses Ha-Kyeong worries that he will open her box. The doctor informs Ha-Kyeong that she can be discharged from the hospital. But she wants to stay one more day.

The next day, Soo-Hyeok takes Ha-Kyeong to leave the hospital. He goes to drive his car. But Do-Ha stops his car in front of Ha-Kyeong. He throws her into his car. He tells her that they won’t go home today. Because he wants to hear her true feelings.
