Jun-Seo and Jae-Oh escape through the window before they’re caught in the blast in Dear X episode 10. Do-Hyuk puts the ring on Ah-Jin’s finger at the swimming pool. He asks her to come to his side. He kisses her hand.

Jun-Seo calls Ah-Jin on the street. She doesn’t pick up his phone. He decides to go to her house. Jae-Oh guesses the case is related to the girl. Jun-Seo gets a call from Soo-Hyuk. He’s told that his grandpa is critically ill. He asks Jae-Oh to go to see Ah-Jin.
Jun-Seo runs to the hospital. He holds his grandpa’s funeral. Ji-Sun arrives at the funeral. She gives his son a hug. She enjoys the meal. Jae-Oh shows up. He informs Jun-Seo that Ah-Jin is fine. The cops arrest Sung-Hee when the girl tries to sell Ah-Jin’s bags at the store. Sung-Hee is taken to the police station. But she’s released soon because Ah-Jin told the cop that she gave the bags to Sung-Hee.
Sung-Hee visits Ah-Jin with the bags she stole. Ah-Jin blames the girl for letting her pick up the cop’s phone. Sung-Hee explains it to Ah-Jin that she did it for helping her. She wants to share the money with her. Ah-Jin thinks Sung-Hee is amazing. She returns to her room. She closes the door. Sung-Hee doesn’t give up. She claims that it’s fine that she only gets thirty percent.
Ji-Sun runs into Soo-Hyuk in the cafeteria. She’s very happy. She wants to have a drink with him. He claims that he has a job. But she drags him to the table. She lets him sit with her. She wonders how the inheritance will be distributed since she’s the only daughter-in-law in the family. She’s told that the money was given to her son Jun-Seo. She gets angry. Soo-Hyuk points out that Ji-Sun isn’t related to Chairman Yoon. Ji-Sun reveals Jun-Seo doesn’t have the bloodline of Chairman Yoon. Jun-Seo is shocked after knowing it.
Jun-Seo and Ji-Sun are outside the funeral home in the evening. Ji-Sun admits it to her son that she told a lie to him for the inheritance. He wonders why she lives like that. She doesn’t feel ashamed because everyone lives like that. She mentions the people in the funeral home want to get the inheritance from Chairman Yoon. She thinks those guys pretended to be noble. She reveals Ah-Jin knows she told a lie. The girl threatened Ji-Sun when she was nine years old. Jun-Seo realizes why his mother beat Ah-Jin. He reminds his mother that she was the one who took the girl into the family. He reveals he sympathized with her even if he knew she’s a bad lady. He thought she did it because she worked very hard. He tried his best to understand her. He wonders why she did it to him. She explains it to him that she didn’t want him to be poor like her. He realizes that Ah-Jin was hurt because of him. Ji-Sun thinks her son is pitiable because he’s tangled by the past.
Sung-Hee breaks into Ah-Jin’s room. She mentions her family was ruined after she dropped out of the school. But Ah-Jin thinks it’s not her business when she sleeps in the bed. Sung-Hee walks to Ah-Jin. She asks for an apology even if the apology is late. But Ah-Jin refuses to apologize to Sung-Hee. She thinks Sung-Hee lost because she was too greedy. She mentions Sung-Hee knew nothing about her situation. Sung-Hee tears up. She thinks Ah-Jin is a bad girl.
Jun-Seo visits Ah-Jin. He runs into her at the elevator. He sees her carrying a suitcase. He wonders where she’s going to go in the evening. She explains it to him that she didn’t call him because she knew his grandpa passed away. But he stops her. He knows she lied to him because she didn’t pick up his phone. She yells at him. She claims that she doesn’t have the time to wait for his phone. He mentions he asked her to wait for his coming. But she couldn’t do it.
Ah-Jin learns that Jun-Seo has known that his father is someone else. She asks the guy about the feelings. She claims that she just didn’t tell it to him. She thinks he should thank her. Because he got the help from his grandpa because he didn’t know the truth. She claims that she did it for his own good. She thinks he cannot deny it that he enjoyed everything with the identity. She didn’t tell it to him because she worried that he cannot accept it. He reminds her that he would accept everything for her if she told him that she was hurt because of him. Jun-Seo drives to the bridge. He gets off his car. He cries.
The next day, Ah-Jin walks into Do-Hyuk’s house. The maids greet her. They call her madam. She’s taken to her room. She throws her bag to the bed. She sees the wedding invitation of her and Do-Hyuk. She smiles. Jae-Oh is in his office. He watches the news that Ah-Jin and Do-Hyuk are going to get married. Do-Kang turns off the TV. He knows Jae-Oh loves Ah-Jin. Jae-Oh shows Do-Hyuk’s photo to Do-Kang. Do-Kang reveals the guy is perfect. He asks Jae-Oh to give up the girl because the girl is going to get married. Jae-Oh has to accept the reality.
Jun-Seo is at home. He gets a call from Le-Na. He meets the girl at the airport. She decides to leave. She doesn’t plan to come back. She won’t contact him because she worries that she will miss him. She persuades him to stay away from Ah-Jin. Because she thinks he should live his own life. He agrees. He reveals he won’t write anymore. Because he wants to forget Ah-Jin. She’s happy with it. But she cannot see it.
Ah-Jin is in Do-Hyuk’s house. She notices a gate to the study on the third floor. She asks Maid Gong to open it. But she’s told that only Do-Hyuk can enter the study. Ah-Jin reminds Maid Gong that she’s the madam in the house. But Maid Gong claims that the previous madam couldn’t get into the study as well. Ah-Jin is angry to walk away.
Ah-Jin has dinner with Do-Hyuk. She asks him to let her use his study because she wants to practice the lines. But he thinks the study cannot help her. He volunteers to practice the lines with her. He reads the script. He learns that he needs to play a murder. He wonders if she wants to kill someone. He reveals he divorced his ex-wife. Because his ex-wife wanted to kill him when she saw him. He thinks he was too nice to his ex-wife.
The next day, Ah-Jin films the movie on the set. She hears the two girls badmouth her. Jun-Seo visits his grandpa at the cemetery. He thanks him for raising him. But he cannot come. Ah-Jin returns home. She finds out that the clock doesn’t run. She scolds the maid. She has a nightmare that her father beat her. She wakes up from the nightmare. Jun-Seo drinks with Jae-Oh at a restaurant. He persuades him to go to live his own life.
The next day, Jun-Seo returns home. His mother is very happy. Ah-Jin is surrounded by the reporters after she filmed the movie. Jae-Oh watches his first love. He tries to leave. But Ah-Jin’s manager stops him. He’s taken to the van. He meets Ah-Jin. She asks him to look into Do-Hyuk’s ex-wife. She wants to meet the woman.

Ah-Jin is at home. Maid Gong asks Ah-Jin to drink the tea. She reveals she will be punished if Ah-Jin refuses to drink the tea. Ah-Jin pours out the tea after Maid Gong left. Do-Hyuk returns home. He finds his wife when she falls asleep on the couch. He touches her face. He smiles.
The next day, Ah-Jin goes to the balcony to bask in the sun. Sung-Hee dresses up as a maid. She shows up behind Ah-Jin. She takes out a knife from her sleeve. She tries to stab Ah-Jin. But Ah-Jin holds Sung-Hee’s hands. She tries to flee. Sung-Hee attacks the girl the second time. Ah-Jin’s collarbone is stabbed. Sung-Hee thinks it’s unfair that Ah-Jin lives in the luxury home. She and Ah-Jin fall on the floor when they fight. The knife drops into the swimming pool. Ah-Jin gets up. She tries to flee. But Sung-Hee grabs Ah-Jin’s hair. She wonders why a demon like Ah-Jin can live so well. Ah-Jin tells Sung-Hee that she failed because she was stupid. Sung-Hee drags Ah-Jin to the swimming pool. She picks up her knife. She tries to stab Ah-Jin’s face. She thinks Ah-Jin is over once her good looking face is disfigured. But Ah-Jin disfigures Sung-Hee’s face. She laughs after she made it. Sung-Hee sees her broken face in the mirror. She cries.
