Emily walks out of her company. She only sees Marcello. She mistook that she can see his mother Antonia. He promises her that he’s going to take her to see Antonia. But he doesn’t like her shoes. She insists on wearing the shoes. He compromises. She laughs. She gives him a kiss. They don’t know the man is watching them behind the fountain. Sylvie sees the man Gabriel. They walk on the street. He brings up that Emily and Marcello were in love. She thinks he knows himself more after he left his lover. He doesn’t regret for letting his girl go. She hints at him that he will get Emily again. Because it’s his fate. But he sees that the girl forgot him. He thinks he made a bad choice to come to Rome.
