Max wakes up in the laundry room at the hospital in Stranger Things Season 5 episode 7. Lucas takes care of his girlfriend. He cries to ask her if she’s fine. She reveals she cannot feel a lot of things. So he lets her hold his hand. He asks her if she can feel it. She says that a little. She can see the bright lights. Vickie is the professional. She reminds Max that she hasn’t used her eyes and muscles for a long time. She thinks she just needs to readjust and learn again. It promotes Max to cry.
Lucas tells Max that he knew she was there. She reveals she saw him. She mentions he played her song. He worries that she bored of it. She’s happy to shake her head. She confesses it to him that she just needs him. He’s moved to hug her. Eleven shows up with her people. She’s surprised that Max woke up. Max wonders where she is. Robin explains it to Max that she was hunted by the Demogorgons. They were almost eaten by the Demogorgons. But Karen saved them. Max knows Vecna will come to look for her. But Mike only cares for Holly.
Holly wakes up in Vecna’s mind. She sees the kidnapped kids. She breaks free from the constraints. She sees Vecna. She’s scared to run out of the cave. She finds out that she’s still in Camazotz. In the lab, Jonathan tries to slam the door open. Nancy stops the guy. She reminds him that they’re over if they hurt themselves. He agrees with what she said. He mistakes that she has a plan. But she asks him to confess. Steve breaks the wall. He feels sorry for his late. Nancy is very happy after she saw the guy. Steve helps Nancy get out of the room. Dustin gives Nancy a hug. Jonathan brings up Dustin’s shield generator. Nancy is told that it’s not a shield generator. She blames Steve for not sharing it with them. He reveals he did it. But the antenna snapped. He thinks it’s the antenna’s fault.
Nancy wonders what she shot. Dustin tells her the truth that she shot the exotic matter. Jonathan wants to know what it is. Dustin takes out Dr. Brenner’s notebook. He opens the notebook. He tells his friends that the notebook is a gold mine. He reveals Holly isn’t on the other side of the wall. Nancy is surprised. She wonders where Holly is. Dustin doesn’t know about it.
Holly is scared to run on the wasteland. She falls down. She sees something. She remember Max told her that Vecna opened the final gate when he took her. She tears open the ground. She gets into the ground. She falls from the sky in another space. Nancy and Jonathan study the notebook in the lab. Nancy hears Holly’s scream.
The next day, Clarke takes Erica and Murray to conduct a balloon experiment in the field. But he doesn’t make it. Murray offers to put the antenna on the van and drive. But Clarke thinks his plan is better. Murray throws a fit to Clarke. He mentions they have been doing it for six hours. He persuades Clarke to cut the losses. He reminds him that Dustin will die if he keeps doing it. Clarke comes up with an idea. He gets Erica and Murray to release their balloons.
Will stays in his room alone. He feels guilty for helping Vecna find Max. Joyce brings a good news to her son that Max was saved. She comforts Will that everything will be fine. But he knows Vecna will take action today, according to Lucas’s theory. He mistook that he could defeat Vecna. But the truth is he never stood a chance. He mentions the guy chose him because he knew he was weak. Will thinks he was Vecna’s vessel that channeled his powers to spy. He tells his mother that the channels didn’t come from the gate. He jacked into the hive and took control of the vines every night. The vines tunneled and infected their world with the Upside Down. Will thinks he murdered many people. Joyce tells her son that it wasn’t his fault. She thinks Vecna won’t get all the vessels. Because the guy just lost Holly. She believes that Holly knows where other kids are. Will cries. He thinks his mother is wrong. Joyce lets her son be in her arms.
The soldiers arrive at the hospital after the Demogorgons appeared. Vickie runs into the soldiers. Max believes that Holly is still in the Upside Down. She reveals she told the girl to go home. Robin realizes that they should go back to the Upside Down. She wonders where is the nearest rift to Karen.
Karen thinks they can get into the MAC easily. Because Vecna killed the soldiers. But Hopper guesses the reinforcements arrived. Eleven volunteers to break through a plate. Karen realizes that her daughter is trapped under a plate. Robin denies it. But she doesn’t know how to explain it to the madam. Mike tells his mother that there’s another world under the plate. Eleven says that it’s the Upside Down. Lucas brings a good news to the people that Eric and Clarke found Dustin and the others. Hopper thinks those guys can help them find Holly.
Vickie breaks into the laundry room with a wheelchair. She asks those guys to retreat. She reveals the soldiers came to the hospital. Karen walks out of the laundry room with the people. But she feels uncomfortable. Mike worries about his mother. Karen claims that she’s fine. Vickie reminds the madam that she will stop breathing if she leaves the hospital. But Karen doesn’t want to lie in the bed when her daughter needs her. Mike promises his mother that he will take Holly back. Karen cries. She gives her son a hug.
Mike joins Clarke outside the lab. He thanks him after he heard that he found Dustin and the others. But Clarke brings a bad news to Mike that those guys went missing. Robin figures it out that Dustin is under the ground. Mike is surprised that Erica didn’t tell the secret to Clarke. Erica sees Max then.
Murray informs the people that he has found Dustin. It promotes them to join him. Mike grabs the radio from Murray. He contacts Dustin. He brings a good news to Dustin that Holly escaped from Vecna. She’s on the way to his house in the Upside Down. He asks him to go to the house meeting Holly. Dustin reveals Holly isn’t in the house. But they found her.
Mike learns that his sister is at the lab. He takes his friends to go to save his sister. But Hopper finds out that they got cameras all over the rift. Clarke brings up that he has a spectrum analyzer at the club. He thinks it can jam the transmission of the cameras. But Hopper has a simpler way. He gets Eleven to break the cameras. Eleven lifts the plate. The people get into the Upside Down. They find Dustin and Nancy. But they don’t see Holly. Nancy reveals she saw her sister in the sky after she ran out of the lab. But Holly was taken away by something that she couldn’t see. She believes that it was Vecna. Vecna takes Holly to return to his den. He reconnects the tube for her. He tells her that it will end soon.
Dr. Kay visits the wounded soldier in the ward. The soldier thinks Vecna is a demon. The captain walks Dr. Kay out of the building. He thinks they need more soldiers because the monster attacked them at two different places. Dr. Kay comforts the captain that the reinforcements will come soon. She asks him to go to talk with his commander if he has any questions. But he doesn’t know how to explain it to the commander. Because he doesn’t know who they fight. She tells him that he doesn’t need to fight anything. She thinks it’s just a search. She asks him to kill it if something blocks his way. She thinks those soldiers were killed because he didn’t find the girl.
Will drives to the house. He gives Max a hug. She brings up that he turned into a magician. Lucas takes Max to tour the house. She complains it to him that she doesn’t know where Holly is. Dustin shows up. He claims that he knows where Holly is.
Dustin gathers the people in a room. He writes something on the glass. He explains it to the people that the Upside Down is just a bridge. He brings up that they found it above the lab. The wormhole connects Hawkins to another world that is called the Abyss. Robin wonders why Dustin calls it Abyss. Clarke takes a look at the drawing. He thinks it’s a realm of pure chaos and evil. Dustin tells the people that he believes the Abyss is the true home of the Demogorgons, the vines and the Mine Flayer. He mentions Eleven banished Henry to the place. Henry was lost for years. He would continue to be lost if it wasn’t because of Brenner. Eleven points out that Brenner helped her find Henry. Dustin points at Eleven. He reveals the bridge formed when Eleven made remote contact with the Abyss. Henry and his monsters army have been using it to cross right back into Hawkins. They defeated Vecna last year. But he went to the Abyss through the bridge to heal himself.
Joyce learns that Vecna has been hiding in the sky. Nancy figures it out why ever crawl failed. Eleven finds the reason why she couldn’t find the guy in the bath and why Holly appeared in the sky. Hopper wonders why Henry took the kids to the place. Will realizes that the guy took him there for the same reason. He mentions the minds of children are weaker. He guesses Henry can amplify his abilities through the kids. Hopper wonders what’s Henry’s goal. Max guesses Henry wants to move worlds. She reveals the guy asked the kids to help him draw the worlds together. Mike figures it out that Henry plans to move the Abyss, crashing it into Hawkins. Will disagrees. He thinks it’s a merge. Henry stayed in the Abyss for making rifts. He did it for weakening the Abyss. They become one When the Abyss and Hawkins collide. Eleven realizes that Henry is remaking the world. Jonathan wonders how much time they have. Mike brings up that they need to get 2,000 feet in the air, finding the way into the Abyss. They need to kill Vecna and save Holly before the worlds merge. Lucas realizes that Henry is going to move the worlds, according to his theory.
At Henry’s house, Henry puts Holly in the bed in the bedroom. The girl shows up when she knocks at the door. She asks Henry if Holly is fine. Henry gathers the kids in the room. He tells them that Holly was bewitched by Max. He pretends that he was defeated by Max. The kids volunteer to persuade Holly.
At the lab, the captain sees the plate Eleven broke. He realizes that Eleven did it. He asks the soldiers to gather their men. Because they need to fight. Eleven decides to get into Henry’s mind for killing him. Kali volunteers to join Eleven.
Holly wakes up in her room. She tries to make the kids believe that Henry is a bad person. But Derek betrays her. Holly pretends to give in. She hits the kid Mary with the radio. She tries to leave. But she’s caught by the other kids. Her pearl necklace is snapped.
Eleven moves a truck at the tower. Murray thanks her. Hopper walks Joyce in the field. He knows Eleven won’t tell her plan to him. Joyce wonders what happened to Hopper and Eleven in the Upside Down. Hopper reveals Eleven thought he doesn’t trust her. Joyce thinks it’s not true. She persuades Hopper to let Eleven know about it. But he doesn’t give her the answer. He tells her that he cannot lose Eleven. He plans to kill Kali if the girl hurts Eleven. He gets into the Upside Down.
Will stays in the room alone. He remembers Max told him that Henry is a human. Dustin takes Steve to go to take the weapons. Steve reveals he badmouthed Eddie because he missed Dustin. Steve and Dustin decide to die together. Kali tells Eleven that those guys will go to kill Mike if she flees with the guy. She offers to die in the Upside Down together after they kill Henry.
Will has a talk with Joyce. He reveals Henry showed his heart to him. He thinks she needs to know it if he wants to defeat Henry. Mike shows up. He informs the two that it’s time to leave. But Will asks Mike to summon everyone. He plans to confess it to them.

Will has a meeting with his friends. He confesses it to them that he doesn’t like girls. He reveals Vecna told him that everyone will leave him if he tells the truth. Joyce comforts her son that it won’t happen. Will’s friends hug Will. They promise him that they won’t leave. Max cannot move. She gets Will to hug her. Will tells Eleven that he’s ready to face Vecna.

Murray drives his truck to break into the lab. Hopper and Hopper kill the soldiers. Dr. Kay try to shoot those guys. But Eleven is there. Mike asks Eleven if she’s ready for it. She admits it. But she and Kali have an eye contact. The truck gets into the Upside World from the lab. Henry lights the candles in the room. He gets the kids to hold each other’s hands. They begin to move the worlds.
