Ren asks Kyouka and Yuuki to watch the enemies before she leaves the battlefield in Chained Soldier Season 2 episode 2. She disappears like a flash. Kyouka reveals everyone thought supreme commander owns flying to heaven ability because of her movement method. It’s just one of her abilities. She thinks the enemies were defeated because they misunderstood it. Yuuki wonders if those guys are humans. They came to rob the peach that only exists in Mato.
Shadow of Love
Although Kyouka’s nation provided peach to other nations, they think it’s not enough. Mato is the dangerous presence that will bring chaos.
Kyouka takes Konomi home. Konomi thanks Kyouka. Kyouka claims that it was just the simple gesture during patrol. Yuuki is surprised that the commander meeting ended that simple. Kyouka thinks it was because supreme commander wanted to interrogate the attacker. Konomi believes that there will be more meeting. Riu adds that the joint mission of the squads will increase. Kyouka asks Riu about the training of the disciples. Riu thinks the disciples are humans so that they cannot be strong like Kyouka. Konomi admires Kyouka after knowing Kyouka defeated Shuuki barehanded. She wishes Kyouka teaches her something. Kyouka agrees. Konomi is very happy.
Kyouka and Yuuki are on the way to the dormitory. Yuuki mentions Riu had a great vitality. Kyouka thinks Riu is the opinion leader who urges young people. She has been commander till now. Fubuki will play the role. Yuuki thinks the supreme commander is terrifying. Kyouka tells the boy that he was targeted. She reveals Ren likes animals very much. She wonders who he cares for except Ren. He mentions she was respected by the junior commander. He thinks she’s a powerful person. She smiles. She thinks he’s good at paying compliments. He claims that it’s his true feelings.
In the dormitory of 7th Squad, Yuuki washes dishes in the kitchen. Nei notices that the guy is tired. She wants to help him. She begins to wash dishes. He praises her. She claims that she should do that because she’s his boss. Yuuki returns to his room. He lies in the bed. He tells his sister that he worked hard all day.
Shushu sneaks into Yuuki’s room. She’s very happy. She has an illusion that she tries to kiss the boy. But she sees Shikoku who’s one of the Eight Gods of Thunder. Shikoku learns that she can get into the barrier as long as she controls her power. She sees Yuuki falling asleep in the bed. She tries to take the boy away. But Shushu punches Shikoku. She doesn’t allow her to touch Yuuki. Shikoku turns around. She thinks Shushu is just an ordinary team member. She tries to attack the girl. But Tenka knocks Shikoku away. She thinks she’s a despicable intruder.
Shikoku recognizes Tenka. She remembers Tenka fought Rairen ever. Shushu grows larger. She swears not to let Shikoku hurt Yuuki. Shikoku persuades Shushu to be calm. She thinks Shushu and Tenka visited Yuuki for business. She claims that she’s like them. She offers not to be direct confrontation. They should change the way to decide who’s the winner. She sits on Yuuki’s face when he just wakes up. Shikoku offers the person winning as long as she can tempt Yuuki. Tenka accepts it.
Shikoku and Tenka lick Yuuki’s body at the same time. Shikoku invites Shushu to join them. Shushu tries to join Shikoku. But she notices that something isn’t right. She thinks Tenka wouldn’t accept it after Tenka witnessed Shikoku licking Yuuki. Shikoku’s snake blows black smoke at Shushu and Tenka. Shushu and Tenka are hypnotized. Shikoku wonders if her illusion works. The trick is effective in cramped space. She asks the two girls to come to her side. But Tenka kicks Shikoku. Shikoku dodges the kick. She learns that the trick doesn’t work to commander. Shushu is furious to knock Shikoku against the wall. Shikoku mentions Shushu stroke her twice. She won’t forget it. She disappears on the wall.
Tenka worries about Yuuki. He gets up from the bed. He doesn’t know what happened. She reveals one of the Eight Gods of Thunder sneaked into his room. He apologizes it to her for not noticing it. He guesses she just protected him. She points out that the one who protected him was Shushu. She’s just a reinforcement. Yuuki thanks Shushu for protecting him. She’s happy to promise him that she will do it next time.
Yuuki sleeps with the girls. Kyouka reveals she has reported it to the headquarters. She offers to sleep together before the barrier reinforces. Nei thinks they’re traveling. She’s very happy. Kyouka asks the people to take turns keeping watch.
In the headquarters, Ren is interested in it after knowing one of the Eight Gods of Thunder sneaked into Yuuki’s room. She studies Yuuki’s resume. She laughs. She learns that everyone wants to get the boy. It promotes her to want to get the boy.
Kyouka watches outside the dormitory of 7th Squad. Shushu shrinks. She tries to touch Yuuki in the dormitory. But Himari mistakes Shushu for a Humanoid Shuuki. She attacks her. Shushu tries to persuade Himari. But Himari doesn’t listen to Shushu’s explanation. She kicks her against the wall. She continues to sleep. Shushu falls on the floor. Kyouka comes back. She informs Shushu that it’s her turn. Shushu watches outside.
In the dormitory, Yuuki wakes up. He finds out that Nei got into his cover. He tries to persuade her to go back to her bed. But she hugs him tightly. She mistakes him for her father. She asks her parents where they are. He remembers her parent went missing suddenly one day. They were treated as they encountered a Mato incident.
Nei tears up while she sleeps. Yuuki strokes her hair. He comforts her that she will find her parents. He wipes off her tears.
The next day, Nei apologizes to Yuuki for getting into his bedding outside the dormitory. But he thinks Eight Gods of Thunder should take the duty. Kyouka thinks they should search around the dormitory. She gets Nei and Yuuki to team up. Yuuki does it. He doesn’t find any suspicious items. Nei strokes Yuuki’s head. She rewards him. Kyouka thinks it’s a harvest that they didn’t find anything. Yuuki has a feeling that someone is looking down at them from above.
Ren appears suddenly with a black flash. She has seen how Yuuki transformed. She lands on the ground. She thinks Kyouka expanded the abilities. She wonders what condition she needs for using the infinite chain. Yuuki reveals it’s in the experimental stage. She’s not sure about it. Ren asks Kyouka to tell the secret to her. She orders Nei to go to perform ordinary tasks. Nei leaves after she received the order.
Kyouka reveals the feature of infinite chain will be changed if Yuuki’s rider is replaced. She thinks it might increase tactical options. Ren expresses that the expansion abilities are funny. She wants to give it a try. Kyouka points out that it will make her tired if she lends Yuuki to Ren. It cannot be continuous used. Ren is disappointed. But she thinks it a good news that Yuuki can be her slave. Kyouka is furious to tell Ren that Yuuki is her slave. Ren smiles at Yuuki. She reveals she needs to go to work. She says goodbye to him. She flies away.
Kyouka hugs Yuuki. She mentions she asked him not to have an eye contact with Ren before the meeting. She blames him for looking at Ren after he got into the meeting room. She yells at him. She thinks Ren has her eye on him. He apologizes to her. He didn’t expect that Ren would look at him. But she still wants to punish him even if she knows it’s not the only reason that Ren fell for him.
Kyouka regrets for not giving Yuuki an order. He wonders what will happen to him since he was targeted by Ren. She believes that the supreme commander will pay with him with a good reason. She mentions Bell. She knows they will work with other squads. It will be a huge uproar if the lending gets spread.
Yuuki puts the ingredients on the table. He wonders how many people’s food he should prepare. He runs out of the dormitory. He’s told that he needs to prepare ten people’s food. Kyouka asks him to take care of the hot springs. It’s the joint training of the three squads. Tenka looks forward to Yuuki’s food. He’s confident that he can take care of the housework. She claims that she will be in charge of earning money.

Yakumo takes the members of 5th Squad to appear. They have great mobility. So the training ground was chosen outside the dormitory of 7th Squad. The Deputy Commander of 5th Squad Kaiko offers to create a win-win situation in the training. Yakumo embraces Kyouka and Tenka. But the two don’t like the physical contact. Kyouka threatens Yakumo that she will break off her fingers if she touches strange places. Yakumo laughs to mention that it’s not the first time she did it. Yuuki takes a look at the three commanders. He thinks it’s like a beautiful painting.
Yakumo pays attention to the legendary slave. She asks Kyouka to lend the infinite chain to her. Kyouka realizes that Ren told it to Yakumo. Yakumo reveals she heard it not long ago. She believes that everyone will know it in the end. She wants to give the lending a try. But Kyouka points out that she and Yakumo belong to different squad. She thinks it will be bad if she cannot use her abilities. Yakumo comforts Kyouka that they will maintain close cooperation. Kyouka tells Yakumo that she needs to reward the slave for using the ability. Yakumo doesn’t mind it at all. Kyouka reminds Yakumo that they need to focus on the training. She wants to talk about the ability enhancement later. She asks Yuuki to return to his job position. He runs away. Yakumo thinks it was a pity. The joint training begins.
