Yoki and Seek sit in the carriage in There Was A Cute Girl in The Hero’s Party episode 5. Seek expresses that she wanted to sit in a carriage. Yoki thinks Seek is too excited. He reminds her that they’re going to go to help Cecilia. He blames her for coming with him. It promises her to think that he wants to give up her. Cecilia laughs. Yoki gets angry. He planned to stay with Cecilia alone. But Seek ruined it. Cecilia feels sorry for letting Yoki go to handle matters with her. But she gets motion sickness suddenly.
Yoki wonders if Cecilia needs to take a break. Seek takes out the medicine. She asks Cecilia to drink it. Cecilia thanks Seek. She takes over the medicine from her. She drinks it and she feels better. Seek is very happy after knowing the good news. She tries to approach Yoki. But he blocks her head with his hand. She claims that she helped Cecilia. But he wants her to keep a distance. Cecilia expresses that she feels relieved after Yoki and Seek joined her. Yoki asks Cecilia to leave it to him.
Yoki, Seek and Cecilia arrive at the village. They find out that the village was attacked by the bandits. The village chief shows up. He’s surprised that Cecilia came to his village. But he doesn’t know Yoki and Seek. Cecilia introduces the two as her friends. She comforts the village chief that her friends have great healing skills. He thinks it’s too reliable after knowing it.
Cecilia heals the villager in the church. He thanks her after he saw his arm recovering. Yoki is healing another villager. But his gaze is fixed on Cecilia. The village chief joins Yoki. He thinks Cecilia is an outstanding girl. Yoki agrees with what the village chief said. He thinks it was fortunate that nobody died after the bandits attacked the village. The village chief reveals the bandits ran away suddenly. He doesn’t know who knocked down the bandits. Yoki realizes that it was an internal strife.
Yoki notices that Cecilia is tired. He persuades her to take a break. But she says that she’s fine. He has to use his magic to stun her. The villagers look at Cecilia. Yoki comforts them that Cecilia just falls asleep. He asks them about the place to rest.
Cecilia wakes up in a room. She gets angry when she looks at Yoki. She wonders if he knows what she’s going to say. He apologizes to her for making her sleep with his magic. She tells him that he shouldn’t ignore someone else’s will. But he persuades her not to force herself. He knows she would pass out if she continued to heal. She thinks he’s right. But she asks him not to do it in the future. He promises her. He reports to her that they completed the healing. He asks her not to worry about it. She’s shy to thank him. He looks at her face. He thinks she’s very cute. The village chief walks into the room. He finds out that Cecilia recovered. He apologizes to her for saying so to her when she’s tired. There’s a girl named Deere living far away from the village. He asks her to go to heal the girl. Yoki wonders if Deere was attacked by the bandits as well. The village chief denies it. But Deere is weak and she lies in the bed. He worries about her. Cecilia gets his point. She asks him for the address of Deere.
Cecilia, Yoki and Seek visit Deere. Deere lets them in. But she doesn’t know who they are. Cecilia introduces herself and her friends to Deere. She tells Deere that the village chief asked them to come. Deere coughs suddenly. Yoki leaves the job to Seek. Seek gives the medicine to Deere. She asks her to drink it. Yoki comforts Deere that Seek possesses extensive therapeutic knowledge. Deere drinks up the medicine. She feels much lighter. She thanks Seek for giving the wonderful medicine to her. She thinks it’s the blessing from Guardian God. Yoki doesn’t know Guardian God. Deere reveals the God Statue is outside the village. She took the offerings to worship God Statue when the bandits attacked the village. She fell asleep on the way home. So she wasn’t hurt by the bandits. Seek wonders if it wasn’t a coincidence. Deere says that she was saved by Guardian God when she was seven years old.
Cecilia mentions the overwhelming drowsiness and black lightning. Yoki figures it out that it was a black magic. Cecilia thinks it was weird. But Deere doesn’t think so. She tells Cecilia that she will believe it once she sees it.
Deere takes the three to see the God Statue. Yoki finds out that it’s a demon statue. Deere doesn’t allow him to insult the god. She coughs. Cecilia hugs Deere. She takes her home. Yoki takes a look at the demon statue. He reveals the demon is the Gargoyle in the Demon King Castle. Gargoyle attacks Yoki suddenly. Seek takes down Gargoyle. He wonders how they will take care of the guy. Yoki asks Gargoyle if he can speak. Gargoyle asks Yoki to kill him. Seek takes out a knife. He tries to kill Gargoyle. But Yoki stops Seek. Because he wants to ask Gargoyle some questions.
Gargoyle gets on his knees to Yoki and Seek. He’s surprised that the two didn’t come to take his life. Yoki points out that Gargoyle attacked them first. Gargoyle apologizes to Yoki. He explains it to him that he attacked them because they knew his true face and they mentioned Demon King Castle. Yoki takes Seek to apologize to Gargoyle. He wonders why Gargoyle became Guardian God of the village.
Gargoyle reveals he was made to guard a temple. But he was stolen by the bandits not long ago. The bandits attacked the village then. So he brought down divine punishment. The villagers called him Guardian God on their own since then. But only a little girl worshiped him recently. She cleans the place everyday after he helped her drive away the demons. He knew the bandits were going to attack the village. So he hid her away.
Yoki learns that Gargoyle doesn’t plan to hurt humans. Gargoyle claims that he just wants to live there. He doesn’t want to be related to humans. Yoki forgives Gargoyle. He tells something to Seek.
Yoki and Cecilia walk in the forest. Yoki reveals he let Seek go home. Because he can stay with his goddess alone since the guy left. He tells Cecilia that they don’t have to take care of the demon statue. She brings up that the demon didn’t bring trouble to the village. He agrees with what she said. He thinks it will be fine. She offers to wait and see. Yoki is nervous. Because he has nothing to talk to Cecilia. She trips. He hugs her from her back. She takes a look at him. The two blush. They avoid each other immediately. Yoki asks Cecilia to be careful while she walks. She thanks him.
The bandits attack the village again. They ask the villagers for food and money. Yoki, Seek and Cecilia show up. Cecilia tells the bandits that she doesn’t allow them to continue to do the bad things. Yoki asks Seek to take action. Seek jumps into the air. He kills some bandits. Cecilia watches it. She thinks Seek is very strong. Yoki thinks Seek should have achieved the results because Seek is his subordinate. He decides to fight well. Cecilia offers to support Yoki. Yoki fights the bandit. He notices that the bandit shows up behind Cecilia. He kills the bandit for her. They see the smoke from the temple of Guardian God. Yoki knows the bandits are attacking Guardian God. He asks Seek to go to the temple. Seek receives the order. He runs away.
The bandits show up. One of the bandits thinks Cecilia and Yoki cannot defeat them. But Yoki claims that he’s enough to take care of the bandits. He summons a tornado. The bandits are defeated by the tornado. Yoki is surprised that Seek doesn’t come back.
Guardian God is hurt at the temple. Deere cries. She asks Gargoyle to hang in there. Seek is caught by the bandit. Yoki and Cecilia arrive. The bandit sees the two. He kicks Seek away. Cecilia worries about Seek. She screams. Yoki wonders who’s the guy. Seek passes out in Cecilia’s arms. Cecilia reveals the guy is the hero of the empire. His name is Mira. Yoki is surprised that there’s another hero, except the previous one. Seek wakes up. He refuses to admit defeat. Cecilia persuades Seek not to put on a brave face. She wonders what happened.
Seek reveals Mira attacked Gargoyle from his back when Gargoyle protected Deere. He wanted to protect Gargoyle and Deere. Yoki gets angry after knowing the truth. Mira mentions Deere wants to protect Gargoyle. He thinks she’s a fool. He tries to walk to Gargoyle. But Yoki stops Mira. Mira tells Yoki that demons should be killed. Yoki points out that the demon just wanted to protect Deere. Mira says that he will cut Deere in half. Yoki casts a lightning to Mira. He tells him that he won’t succeed. He’s surprised that his magic disappeared.
Cecilia asks Yoki to step back. Because Mira’s attribute can restrain Yoki’s attribute. The sword Mira is holding is the Artificial Demon Sword. It’s a weapon that can devour magic. Mira cuts off Gargoyle’s arm with his sword. Gargoyle lets out a cry of agony. Cecilia reminds the hero that he will trigger a war of two kingdoms if he hurts Deere. But Mira is excited. He licks his sword. It startles Cecilia. He says that he cannot fight with relish in an era of peace. He can slaughter endlessly during a war. She learns that he doesn’t have the dignity that a hero should have.
Yoki realizes that he should do something to Mira. Mira reminds Yoki that his magic doesn’t work to him. But Yoki doesn’t want to give up. He keeps attacking Mira. Mira is fine because he has the sword. Gargoyle watches the fight. He worries that Yoki will be knocked down after Yoki exhaust all his magic. But Mira’s sword is broken after it bore too much magic. Yoki runs to Mira. He punches him. Mira is knocked to the tree. Yoki is very happy. But Mira casts the light javelin to Gargoyle. Deere is stabbed by the light javelin for protecting Gargoyle.
Mira laughs. He thinks it’s very funny that a human protected a demon. But Yoki swears not to forgive Mira. Mira takes out a bow. He threatens Yoki that his friends will die if he doesn’t protect them. He shoots an arrow into the sky. A hail of arrows falls. Yoki uses his magic to block the attack. His friends are fine. But Mira flees.
Yoki turns into a demon. He goes to chase Mira. Mira sees the demon. He pulls out his sword. Because he’s not happy. But he’s taken down soon. He learns that the demon is the master of the Gargoyle. He’s knocked away. He wonders why there’s so strong demon since Demon King was beaten down.
Yoki catches Mira. He takes him to fly in the sky. Mira gets Yoki’s point that killing is fun. But Yoki remembers Cecilia. He throws Mira into the lake. Yoki returns to Deere’s house. Cecilia is waiting for him. She reveals everyone is fine. They all fall asleep. His head bleeds. He reveals he hurt himself when he broke his horn. She heals him. She welcomes him to come back.
The next day, Deere wants to go to Minerva for healing Gargoyle. But Cecilia points out that demons cannot get into Minerva. Yoki comes up with a good idea. He offers to use earth magic to change Gargoyle’s look. Gargoyle won’t be treated as a demon.
Cecilia takes Deere to Celia’s house. Celia allows Deere to live at the house. Yoki catches the chance to put the stone statue into the house. But Celia rejects it. She doesn’t want to put the tacky thing into her house. She asks Yoki to take it back. Deere cries. She calls Guardian God.
