A baby lies in a basket in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 episode 5. The baby is Panda. His father Masamichi Yaga is locked up in the room. Because he made Panda. The principal Yoshinobu Gakuganji wants to know the method to make Panda. He plans to create a Panda army. But Yaga refuses to leak it.
Yaga meets Takeru in the forest. Takeru tells Yaga that everyone worried about him. They thought he looks listless. He bragged that he will cheer Yaga up. He thinks he’s a genius. Yaga agrees with what Takeru said. He strokes the dog’s head. It makes him happy. He tells him that he cannot come back. He asks him to tell it to everyone. Takeru wonders if Yaga is going to go on a business trip again. Yaga admits it. He says that it’s a long business trip. He comforts Takeru that the forest will be guarded by Tengen. His mother will come back to see him. There won’t be any problem even if he’s not there. Yaga tries to leave the forest. Takeru and other Cursed Corpses see him off. He tells Yaga that they will be lonely.
Atsuya Kusakabe saves Panda from a cell. He asks him not to leak that he did it. He reveals Panda was caught for making Yaga show up. He owes Yaga a grace.
It flashes back. Yaga meets Atsuya in the forest. Atsuya is with a woman in a wheelchair. Yaga brings up that Takeru isn’t Atsuya’s nephew. He’s a certain object that own his nephew’s information. Atsuya knows Yaga wants to persuade him not to be obsessed with the dead. After all, he cannot live in the future. But his sister cannot live without Takeru being her pillar. Takeru shows up from behind Yaga. He asks Yaga if the woman in a wheelchair is his mother. Yaga is surprised that Takeru recognized his mother. Takeru laughs. He thinks he’s a genius. The woman gets off the wheelchair. She runs to takeru. She hugs her son. She cries. Yaga apologizes to Atsuya. Atsuya knows Yaga cannot publicly disclose the Cursed Corpse. Takeru cannot live with Atsuya’s sister. Atsuya thinks Yaga doesn’t have to feel sorry for it. He wants to thank him instead.
Yaga looks for Panda on the street in the evening. Yoshinobu and the killer are waiting for Yaga. Yaga tells Yoshinobu the method how to make cursed corpses before he dies. He thinks he curses him. Panda shows up. He runs to Yoshinobu. Yoshinobu is ready for the fight. But Panda doesn’t attack Yoshinobu. He runs through him. He goes to take care of Yaga. Yoshinobu wonders why Panda doesn’t hate him. Panda claims that he won’t get hung up on such things. He points out that Yoshinobu was close to Yaga. Yoshinobu is just a knife falling on the ground for him. He asks Yoshinobu to remember that Panda will cry.
At present, Tengen tells Yuji and Megumi that Kinji is organizing the gambling competition at the parking lot. It makes sorcerers fight each other. Megumi wonders who are the gamblers. Tengen reveals they’re non-sorcerers. Megumi thinks it breaks the rule eight “Confidentiality”. Tengen asks Yuji and Megumi to be careful. Because there’re experts in the players.
Yuji and Megumi arrive at the parking lot. Megumi asks Yuji to get changed with him. He mentions Kinji left the school because he had a fight with the principal. He worries that the guy will flee if he sees their school uniforms. Their relationship is like police and thief. Yuji wonders if he and Megumi are the people of Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School. Megumi thinks they are in Kinji’s eyes. Yuji wonders if Kinji is such a person who will help them. Megumi isn’t sure. After all, Maki thought Kinji is a jerk. But Yuta said that Kinji is stronger than him. They need the guy’s help from a combat effectiveness perspective.
Megumi and Yuji try to get into Gachinko Fight Club. But they’re blocked by the two men of Kinji. Megumi claims that he came to take part in the competition. But Kinji wants Yuji to take part in the game. Megumi and Yuji leave the park lot. Megumi notices that Kinji watched him and Yuji through the monitor. He asks Yuji to go inside to gather intelligence. He thinks they won’t see Kinji if they give themselves away. Yuji decides to use brute force at that time. Megumi thinks it’s the last method. After all, their position is to ask Kinji to help them. They need to try their best to avoid any impact that will affect future relationship. He thinks they shouldn’t take action tonight. But he doesn’t want waste any time before Tsumiki joins the Culling Game. Yuji checks his cell phone. He finds out that they spent too much time. Megumi decides to sneak into the fight club and look into Kinji. He will hold back if things are looking grim.
At the fight club, the guard tells Yuji that he cannot run away and he cannot use cursed arts. Yuji doesn’t understand it. He thinks he won’t go against it if his opponent wants to use cursed arts. The guard explains it to the boy that the guests are non-sorcerer. They cannot see cursed arts. The atmosphere won’t be lively when the guests don’t understand the game. Yuji learns that the game is customer first. After all, it’s a business. Yuji asks the guard about the boss. He’s interested in the boss. The guard tells Yuji that he will know it once he sees the boss.
Yuji follows the guard downstairs. The guard reveals the competition consists of two types. Today’s elimination round is real match. Another type is fake match. The script was written by the boss. Kinji steps on the can. He thinks the heat has subsided. Kirara wonders why he thinks so. He mentions there weren’t too many sorcerers being able to defeat Panda. He hugs the beauty. But she doesn’t think so.
In the arena, Yuji fights Panda. He wonders if he saw Kinji. Panda denies it. He reveals he and Kinji are good friends. But the guy refused to see him. Panda tells Yuji that there’s another problem. The another third-year student Kirara’s cursed art. He guesses Yuji concealed his identity. He thinks he did a good job. Panda pretends to be defeated by Yuji. Kinji calls the lookout. He asks him to take Yuji to the roof after the game. He believes that Yuji will win till the end. He thinks he can write a good script. He says that he should strike while the iron is hot. But Kirara tells him that it’s very stupid. He asks the lookout to remain vigilant toward another boy. He will send Kirara to join the security force later. He thinks the feeling of exhilaration is very good. He brings up his ex-girlfriend. Kirara yells at Kinji. She doesn’t allow him to mention the matter of his ex-girlfriend.
Megumi meets Panda in the forest in the evening. Megumi wonders why Panda didn’t met Kinji. Panda explains it to Megumi that he knows Kinji is in the Monitoring Room on the roof. But he cannot approach the Monitoring Room. The distance didn’t shorten when he walked to the door. He guesses it was Kirara’s cursed art. Megumi wonders if it happens when Kirara is in the Monitoring Room. Panda doesn’t know. Megumi asks Panda if Yuji can convince Kinji. Panda thinks it won’t be easy. But he knows Kinji will be convinced in the end. Yuji is a cheerful and likable boy. He will get along well with Kinji. But Yuji isn’t good at telling a lie. Panda thinks he and Megumi should suppress the stronghold when Yuji gets into the Monitoring Room. He does it to buy time for Yuji and Kinji. He comforts Megumi that they just let those guys take a nap. He has known the monitors’ placements and blind spots. Megumi thinks Panda’s plan is very good after knowing there’re not too many guards. But he worries about Kirara’s cursed art. Panda thinks they have no choice if Kirara sends away Yuji or he calls the partners in.
Kirara and Yuji are on the way to the Monitoring Room. Yuji notices that Kirara is very happy. Kirara reveals Kinji began to be full of passion. He likes the passionate Kinji. Yuji walks into the Monitoring Room. Kinji sits on the couch. He invites Yuji to join his club. He thinks he will be a good pawn. Yuji tries to say something to Kinji. But Kinji’s cell phone rings on the table. Kinji goes to get the wine for Yuji. He brings up Gojo. Yuji pretends not to know Gojo. Kinji points out that there’s no sorcerer not knowing Gojo. He thinks Yuji told a lie. He drinks up the wine. He thinks Yuji was sent by Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School. He begins to attack Yuji. He reveals it was a signal for abnormal status that Kirara called him. He grabs Yuji’s collar. He gives Yuji a headbutt. Yuji asks Kinji to listen to him. But Kinji yells at Yuji. He refuses to do so.
Megumi and Yuji begin to take action after knowing many people will die in the Culling Game. They plan to recruit the third-year student Kinji after Yuta recommended the guy in the meeting about the Culling Game. Kinji is managing a fight club. He plans to make his club be the number club in the nation. He has a strong helper Kirara who’s also a third-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. He doesn’t know his two juniors are going to visit him. Panda found the fight club before Megumi and Yuji. He intended to invite Kinji to take part in the Culling Game with him. But the good friend didn’t give the chance to him. He couldn’t reach the headquarters of the club. So Panda stayed at the club. He became a permanent contestant. He didn’t give up his goal. He just waited for a chance.

Panda’s chance comes soon. Megumi and Yuji find the club soon. Yuji even becomes a player. Because Kinji likes the boy very much. Panda knows Yuji is the right person he’s waiting for. So he lets Yuji have the championship. Yuji gets the chance to talk with Kinji. But Kinji finds Yuji’s true face soon. The fight is about to begin.
Episode 5 introduces the history of Panda. Panda is created by Yaga. Yage creates other cursed corpses as well. But he likes Panda most. He dies on the journey to look for Panda. The story is a bit sad. The person who cares for Panda most leaves the world. Yaga is also a good person. He helps Atsuya achieve his wish ever. His death is inevitable after he created the first cursed corpse.
