At the base of Eight Gods of Thunder, Kuusetsu dresses Shikoku up in Chained Soldier Season 2 episode 6. She thinks Shikoku doesn’t have to dress up. Because she’s pretty. Rairen watches it. He wonders what the two girls are doing. Kuusetsu explains it to Rairen that Shikoku isn’t happy. She’s helping Shikoku shift her mood. He wonders if Shikoku is still in anger that she was hit by the trash. Joryuu mentions what Shikoku said that she was going to breach the barrier. She was hit because she intended to restrain her power.
Brand New Azuma Family
Shikoku knows two things that humans will intensify power beyond imagination because of emotional fluctuations. She asks Kuusetsu to remember it. Kuusetsu claims that she’s perfect no matter strength or beauty. Joryuu wonders if the feed Kuusetsu absorbed reflects in her character. Rairen yells at Kuusetsu. He reminds her that she’s just a rookie. He asks her not to talk big. She shows up from behind him. She gives him a blow. He learns that she can switch form. Shikoku thinks it’s interesting that Kuusetsu became so strong.
Joryuu reminds Shikoku that she doesn’t leak another thing. She says that she’s not magnanimous even if she’s a god. She asks Kuusetsu to hone herself before the final battle. She mentions the last God of Eight Gods of Thunder doesn’t show up. Kuusetsu laughs. She promises to continue her research. After all, her characteristics can get stronger endlessly. She claims that she can get rid of the Mato Defense Force on her own.
Fubuki catches Yuuki and Himari when the two have a French kiss in the forest. She wonders if it’s the reward of Eternal Chain. She flirts with Yuuki. The boy is startled. Himari asks Yuuki to go aside. But Fubuki goes against it. She thinks Himari should do a good job since she wants to give a reward. She persuades her not to only use her mouth even if the reward is a kiss. She bites Yuuki’s ear from his back. Himari is shocked when she sees her mother doing so to her teammate. Fubuki tells her daughter that she should use her hand to appreciate Yuuki’s hard work. Himari cannot stand it. She kisses Yuuki. Fubuki thinks Himari should control the pace.
The losers are sent back to Azuma family. Tobera tells the guests that it’s the Main Course. Himari and Yuuki face Fubuki on the beach. Fubuki asks Himari to show her truth strength. She takes out her weapon Sunset. Yuuki heard it from Himari that Sunset is a telescopic spear. He thinks the spear is very strong. But they can use Sky to resist it.
Himari and Yuuki use Sky. Fubuki learns that Himari used the art to defeat Homare. Himari tells her mother that she will use the art to beat her down as well. She rides Yuuki to rush to Fubuki. But Fubuki uses thrust. The speed of the thrust is very fast. Yuuki cannot approach Fubuki. She thinks Homare’s speed cannot compare to Fubuki’s speed. He knows it’s highly disadvantageous that maintaining the distance. Fubuki strikes Yuuki. He’s knocked against the mountain. She puts the passed out him on the ground. She thinks he lacks experience. Himari runs to Yuuki. She wakes him up. Fubuki thinks Himari was protected by someone again. She wonders if her strength is just that. She provokes her that she just needs Kyouka if she wants to use Eternal Chain to fight.
Himari launches countless missiles at her mother. She thinks her spear cannot block the explosion shock. Fubuki tells Himari that she’s too naive. She blocks the attack with her spear. She reveals she can adjust the power level of the spear. She just used ten percent of her full strength. She strikes Himari. She knocks her away. Himari falls down. Fubuki holds her spear standing behind her daughter. She hoped she made her use thirty percent of her power because she’s a second-in-command.
In Azuma family, Tobera watches the fight. She thinks the dinner is over. Yachiho arrives at the beach. She sees Fubuki defeating Himari. She realizes that the situation is urgent. She wants to go to save Himari. But she’s restrained by Maia. Maia thinks Yachiho loses her cool after she saw Himari in danger. Yachiho yells at Maia. She asks her to release her. But Maia persuades Yachiho not to act rashly. She says that it’s for Azuma family.
Fubuki walks to Himari. She tells her that Yachiho cannot help her. She asks her what she plans to do. Himari steps on Fubuki’s spear. She tries to punch Fubuki. Fubuki reminds Himari that her abilities was enhanced after she took out the spear. She thinks the hand-to-hand combat she’s good at won’t work. Himari takes out Bang Bang Bang. She shoots her mother. Fubuki blocks the bullets with her spear. She cuts Himari then. Himari rolls a long way. She suffers severe injuries. She cannot fight. Fubuki is surprised that Himari is a second-in-command. She thinks Kyouka isn’t strong.
It flashes back. Kyouka asks Himari to be the second-in-command of the 7th Squad. She says that she saw her performance after she joined the 7th Squad. She thinks she’s qualified for the job. Himari worries that Azuma family and the 9th Squad will target Kyouka if Kyouka promotes her. Kyouka doesn’t care for it. She tells Himari that she wants her to be the second-in-command. Himari is moved to tear up. She covers her face. She remembers Tobera thought she should show some results as a member of Azuma family. Homare told her that Azuma family doesn’t need her. Himari thanks Kyouka. Kyouka tears up as well. She gives Himari a hug. She tells her that she got the position through her perseverance. She thinks she should feel proud.
At present, Himari unleashes her inner power. Fubuki sees the green energy her daughter emits. She thinks the person isn’t the previous Himari. Himari asks Fubuki to take back her words. She won’t forgive any person who badmouths the commander. Fubuki points out that she said so because Himari wasn’t strong. She persuades Himari to find a way to force her to take it back if she refuses to accept it.
Himari takes out the card Learning. She uses Yakumo’s skill Night Storm to attack Fubuki. Fubuki is blown away. Himari doesn’t give her mother time to rest. She uses Tenka’s skill Heavenly Bird Life. She teleports behind Fubuki. Tenka thinks there is a gap in tightness. But it possesses combat-ready capabilities. Himari uses Homare’s skill Python to attack her mother. Tenka notices that Himari doesn’t seem quite right. Kyouka thinks the girl is in anger. Tobera wonders if her granddaughter awakened because of rage.
Himari rushes to Fubuki. She doesn’t allow her to insult her commander. Fubuki takes back his words. But she asks Himari to attack her. Himari tries to beat Fubuki. But she passes out in her mother’s arms. Fubuki learns that her daughter reached the limit. She realizes her potential.
Yachiho and Maia watch the fight on the cliff. Yachiho thinks her sister did a good job. Maia points out that the outcome wouldn’t happen if Yachiho intervened. She puts her hand on Yachiho’s head. She thinks she should pay attention to herself. Azuma dinner is over. Because Yachiho and Maia abstained. Fubuki becomes master of Azuma family.
In the cave, Shikoku plays the video game with Joryuu. She teaches him how to use special move. He thinks she knows a lot. Rairen shows up. He learns that Shikoku plays games again. She claims that she’s experiencing human entertainment before she wiped them out. But he asks her to leave with him. Kuusetsu comes out from Joryuu’s body. She wonders where Shikoku and Rairen are going. Shikoku reveals they plan to let the eighth Eight Gods of Thunder be born. Kuusetsu is excited. But she’s hungry. Joryuu wonders if she has a way to absorb the third human. She says that she has a way. She hopes she will eat an ability user. It will become her ability at that time. She thinks the two people in her body will be happy if they know they have a new partner. He mentions she becomes highly absorbent when she’s hungry. But she refuses to eat ugly feed. Shikoku looks at Kuusetsu. She learns that Kuusetsu absorbed the human’s personality. She thinks it’s really a hassle. Joryuu offers to go to the Mato Defense Force to catch a human back. But she asks him not to take action against the Mato Defense Force before Eight Gods of Thunder are all there. She has a good idea. She smiles. Kuusetsu is excited to tell Shikoku that her smile is beautiful.
In Azuma family, Homare is healed because Tobera prepared a healing plan. Tobera didn’t tell it to anyone. Yuuki praises Himari after knowing the girl used commander level abilities. But she cannot use it right now. Yachiho hugs Himari. She teaches her how to use her ability Golden Hour. Himari says that she mistook that she can master Learning. She doesn’t know what to do. Kyouka comforts Himari. She thinks she doesn’t have to be so anxious. She offers to overcome the obstacles of compatibility through exercise.
Tobera agrees with what Kyouka said. She thinks it’s worth it that Himari knows the qualities she possesses. She asks Himari to work out a method to unleash her abilities. She tells her that she’s an outstanding member of Azuma family. She asks her to have more children for Azuma family. She points at Yuuki. She reminds her granddaughter that the man is in front of her. She wants to demonstrate how to make a baby.
Fubuki asks Tobera to shut up. She thinks it’s her credit that the capabilities of Azuma family reached the next level. But her meritocracy letting the kids fight each other increased the strife between relatives. It caused the children not to develop a sound mind. She thinks it’s not a sound organization because she’s very arrogant. She asks her not to wear the school uniform wandering around outside. She thinks she’s not young anymore.

Tobera is furious to attack Fubuki after her daughter didn’t respect her. Fubuki launches a counterattack. She claims that she’s the master of Azuma family. She thinks Tobera could counter the attack easily if she was the Supreme Commander. She tells her that she completely let her guard down. She threatens her that she will get rid of her if she continues to play the senior card. Tobera thinks Fubuki got stronger. Fubuki wants to lead Azuma family. Tobera agrees.
Fubuki gives a speech. She thinks Azuma family should be strong. She won’t change the mindset. She will craft a brand new Azuma family. She asks everyone to get along well. She will retrain Homare and Yumina with her love. Homare wants to vomit after she heard Fubuki’s words. Fubuki apologizes to Kyouka for being rude to her. Kyouka knows Fubuki said so for provoking Himari. Fubuki thanks Kyouka for raising Himari to be so outstanding. She shakes hands with her. She says that Azuma family won’t forget the kindness. She asks Himari not to leave. Because they need to review the previous fight.
