But he used a wrong way. He parks his car on the side of the road. It’s raining. He wears a black raincoat. He opens his trunk. He some tools. He carries the tools into the woods. He finds a grave. He remembers the woman told him that he needs to kill the dead. He will get what he wants if he completes the task. He will climb to the top. The cost is that he has to give up what he cherishes most. It’s Sang-Ah. At the police, Sang-Ah decides to die for Tae-Seob.

Tae-Seob returns home. Sang-Ah is surprised that her husband came back so early. He tells her that he did it because he wanted to drink with her. He notices that she has plans. She admits it. He mistakes that she’s going to see a man. She points out that she would change her underwear if she goes to see a man. He realizes that she has something important. She reveals it’s a film company. They need to talk about the plot. But he knows it’s not a film company. She reminds him that she has to go to the occasion that she doesn’t want to attend. She wishes he won’t ask her about it. Sang-Ah leaves home. Tae-Seob looks into Mayor Nam. He remembers his colleague said that Mayor Nam became presidential candidate after she united with WR Group. The leader of the group is Yang-Mi. Sang-Ah meets Yang-Mi at a restaurant. Yang-Mi wonders if Sang-Ah filmed well on the set. She claims that she read the script even if the director isn’t famous. She thinks she should be calm since she wants to live as an actress. But Sang-Ah says that she has no choice in the circle. Yang-Mi tells Sang-Ah that she didn’t become an actress even if she’s pretty. She doesn’t want to be manipulated by others. She mentions she helped her keep her position when she was in trouble. She even bought the shares of her agency. She won’t let her fall because she’s aged. She has a card that can help her change her fate.
Tae-Seob talks with his colleague over the phone. He’s told that Yang-Mi likes to threaten actors. Yang-Mi tells Sang-Ah that Ms. Nam likes the actor Yun-Seong in her company very much. But Sang-Ah asks Yang-Mi not to touch Yun-Seong. Yang-Mi persuades Sang-Ah not to care for her pride. She reminds her that it’s a cliff if she takes a step forward.
Sang-Ah returns home. She vomits in the bathroom. Tae-Seob thinks his wife drank a lot. She claims that she just has an upset stomach. She sits on the floor. She says that she feels a little under the weather. He feels sorry for not being able to help her. She says that she wants to keep going. But she worries that it’s her final destination. He tells her that he chose her because she’s afraid of staying where she is. He thinks she’s very handsome. He kisses her.
The next day, Tae-Seob is in Jeong-Won’s house. He tells Jeong-Won that he thinks he didn’t get Sang-Ah. She thinks it’s a sick love. She doesn’t want him to talk about his pure love story at her place. He apologizes to her. She hands over the papers of Yang-Mi and Ms. Nam to him. She thinks the two are good friends. He hands over an envelope of cash to her. She puts the envelope into her drawer. She realizes that he won’t be a prosecutor anymore. He persuades her not to be an intelligence officer of prosecutors. He will help her get a new job. But she doesn’t want him to care for her business. She wonders if he will live with her.
In the prosecutors office, the chief scolds Tae-Seob after knowing the guy is looking into Ms. Nam. Tae-Seob claims that he did for not confirming the information he heard. He won’t stop what he’s doing. He decides to make a big deal of it since he has no way out.
In the evening, Tae-Seob meets Jong-Uk at a restaurant. Jong-Uk heard that Tae-Seob is a doberman. He wonders if Sang-Ah was bitten by him. Tae-Seob laughs. He cannot deny. Jong-Uk is the heir of WR Group. Jong-Uk became Yang-Mi’s enemy after the lady gave a birth to a daughter for Kwon family. Jong-Uk will reap the benefits if Tae-Seob shoots Ms. Nam down.
Jong-Uk wonders how Tae-Seob will use Ms. Nam to attack Yang-Mi. Tae-Seob reveals he plans to break into Yang-Mi’s hotel to arrest Ms. Nam. So Yang-Mi’s plan will fall through. Jong-Uk thinks it’s a good plan. But he knows Tae-Seob visited him for something. Tae-Seob wants Jong-Uk to be his sugar father when he runs for office. Jong-Uk thinks it’s very easy. But he doesn’t trust Tae-Seob. Tae-Seob reminds the guy that they have common interests. He claims that he wants to stand on the top of the nation.
The next day, Sang-Ah meets Seung-Beom in his office. He heard that she saw Yang-Mi. He guesses she knew the case of Yun-Seong. She asks him not to mind it. Because it won’t happen. He tells her that he expected the day when Yang-Mi bought the shares of their company. She remembers Yang-Mi threatened her. She refuses to use the dirty method to be popular again. She asks Seung-Beom not to touch Yun-Seong even if Yang-Mi contacts him. He agrees.
In the evening, Ms. Nam arrives at Yang-Mi’s hotel. Tae-Seob takes photos of her in the car. In the gym, Sang-Ah practices boxing. She’s told that Seung-Beom doesn’t come. She calls the guy when he arrives at the hotel with Yun-Seong. He explains it to her that he does it because Yang-Mi wanted to take back her investment. She yells at him. She thinks Yun-Seong is innocent. But he says that Yun-Seong agreed. The guy is very ambitious. He doesn’t want to miss the chance.
At the hotel, Jeong-Won runs into Sang-Ah in the lobby. She reports it to Tae-Seob. Sang-Ah looks for Yun-Seong in the hallway. She sees him. She persuades him not to get into the suite. She remembers the man Kwang-Jae persuaded her that she will be a star once she gets into the suite.
Yun-Seong gets into the suite in the end. She meets Ms. Nam. Tae-Seob is in front of the elevator. He listens to the talk of the suite. Because Jeong-Won installed a bug. Sang-Ah walks out of the elevator. She sees Tae-Seob. But she doesn’t talk to him. She leaves the hotel. He gets in the elevator. He hears that Ms. Nam tells the guy that he will be a big star. He gets into the suite when he films with his cell phone. He gets the evidence he needs. Ms. Nam screams after she found out that Tae-Seob is filming her. Nine Years ago, Tae-Seob attends a lady’s funeral. He runs into Sang-Ah.
