BB interviews a guy on the street in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 episode 1. He thinks the city got better. In the evening, Matt Murdock watches the ship Northern Star sail on the sea. He jumps on the ship. He kills some guys. His action is discovered by the captain. But the captain cannot stops Matt after Matt broke the screen.
Matt gets into the container. He finds some weapons. The captain activates the self-destruct sequence. The ship capsizes. Matt jumps off the ship. He swims to the shore.
At Josie’s Bar, Matt returns. He sees Page working out. She brings up that the news was talking about the Northern Star. She thinks he gave Fisk a lesson. He tells her that her source was right. It’s a big case. It’s a crack in Fisk’s armor. The boat was full of weapons. Rocket launchers, assault rifles. He thinks the guy is using the Freeport to smuggle arms. She praises him after knowing what he did. She thinks Fisk will be angry. He wonders who gave the guy the firepower. She guesses someone can find it out. He offers to send out the message that the mayor is running guns. She asks him about his plan. He wants to prove it. She volunteers to help him. He chooses to trust her. They have a kiss.
Fisk arrives at the port. The girl reports to him that nothing is landing until the Northern Star is cleared. Perishables are being diverted to New Jersey. He takes a look at the ship. He tells his people that it was done by the vigilante of Hell’s kitchen. The guy decides to send out the message. Fisk asks Powell to organize the salvage operation. Powell promises his boss that he will have a crew tomorrow. Fisk asks his people to hunt for Daredevil and Karen Page. He asks Buck who knew what was in the ship besides them. Buck reports to Fisk that only the captain and the first mate knew it. Fisk asks Buck to find the two.
At a bar, the guy talks with someone over the phone. He says that he’s watching the news. He decides to go to the place on his own. Because he needs the miles. He puts his cell phone into the glass cup.
The next day, BB interviews the people at the port. They blame Daredevil. Page and Matt are in the room. Page thinks she needs to take more time to meet up with her sources. She complains it to Matt that Fisk can get back up no matter how they deal with the guy. He cheers her on. He thinks they should keep trying. She gets a message from Jess. Jess just pulled the ship’s manifest. She didn’t know who gave the guns to Fisk. But they have the captain and the first mate. Matt decides to go to check out the two. He asks Page to be careful.
Attorney General visits Fisk. He blames him for giving himself extraordinary emergency powers. He didn’t talk about it with the Governor. Charles walks into the office. Everyone doesn’t welcome Charles. But the guy uses his power to get Attorney General to support Fisk.
Page disguises. She meets her source in a convenience store. She gets the papers from him. Heather Glenn meets Duquesne in the prison. She tries to conduct a psychological evaluation for him. But he refuses to answer her questions. So she threatens him that he won’t leave the place if he doesn’t work with her.
Kirsten arrives at her office. She worries about her friend Matt who’s missing. Cherry comforts the lady that Matt is fine. Hochberg shows up. He asks for a talk with Kirsten. Cherry agrees after he received a message from Red Kitchen. He leaves Kirsten’s office. Hochberg persuades Kirsten to surrender. He believes that her career will be ruined if she fights him for Duquesne. But she believes that she will win because she’s holding strong evidence. But he thinks the evidences don’t matter. She’s shocked after she heard his words. She wonders what happened to him. He reveals he read the tea leaves. He asks her to come back to the DA’s office. He will match whatever like she tells him. But she rejects him.
Matt meets Cherry outside. He reveals Fisk has heavy weapons on the ship. He believes that the guy will carry it away soon. Cherry reminds Matt that Fisk will kill the person if the person doesn’t respect him. Matt knows the guy will destroy the whole city. Cherry mentions he’s retired. Matt reminds Cherry that some people died on the ship. Cherry mentions Kirsten and Matt are good at making him feel guilty. But it works. Matt asks Cherry about the girl. Cherry persuades Matt to contact Kirsten. Because the girl worried about him. But Matt doesn’t want to get the girl involved. He knows she will be hurt if she’s related to him. He asks Cherry to help him find the captain and the first mate.
In the evening, the cop visits the bar. He asks the bar owner about the captain and the first mate. He sees the captain. He stuns him outside the bar. BB goes to Daniel’s party. Daniel used Fisk’s money to throw the party. He even became Deputy Mayor. BB persuades the guy to be careful. She knows he will be hurt if what Fisk did is exposed.
Matt visits the bar owner. He knows the cop just came to her bar. She tries to drive him away. But he tells her that he’s Daredevil. He wants to protect Achilleo and Christofi. She reveals Achilieo planned to go to Toronto. But Task Force took him. That means nobody finds him. He asks her about Christofi. She thinks nobody can help the guy if he was taken. But Matt wants to give it a try.
Achilleo is tortured in the jail. He reveals they encountered Daredevil on the ship. He doesn’t know where Christofi went. He’s killed. Charles has dinner with Fisk at Fisk’s house. He asks him to kill his people after the weapons are carried away. Because he doesn’t want people to know the weapons.
BB receives a message from Daniel. She walks Page on the street. She tells her that the guy is her source. But he doesn’t know. She doesn’t like him. Page thinks the case will be simple. She reminds BB that they’re manipulators. She doesn’t want her to die. She feels guilty because her uncle Ben died for saving her.
The next day, Glenn is at home. Hochberg calls her. He offers to make Duquesne be a sociopath. In the house, Matt teaches Page to fight. He reveals the restaurant owner in Astoria wanted to send Achilleo to Cyprus. The lady will help if they need it. Page thinks they need more people to make trouble for Fisk. The vigilante trials are going to come up. She misses their past everyday.
Christofi visits the restaurant owner after he heard that she can help him. Task Force visits Cherry. They beat him after knowing he’s looking for the sailors. Matt shows up. He saves Cherry. But Cherry is weak. Because his heart isn’t good. More police come. Matt cannot deal with so many police. His mask is removed. The cop recognizes Matt. Someone kills the police with the knife. Matt is saved. The guy tells Matt that he doesn’t have to thank him. Cherry passes out. It seems that he has known Matt’s identity.
Daredevil needs to face the powerful enemy Fisk again after season 1. Fisk controls great power after he became mayor. Matte unites with his girlfriend Page. They try to give the guy a blow. They own the evidence that Fisk smuggled weapons. But Fisk always defeats the two. Because the guy has a great team.
Glenn chooses to help Fisk after she broke up with Matt. She knows Matt is living with Page. But she doesn’t mind it. Because she has her own problems. She finds out that she’s a little out of her mind when she tries to make Duquesne be guilty.
Cherry is a good friend of Matt and Kirsten. He knows Matt is dealing with Fisk. He chooses to help his friend. But he’s targeted by Task Force. The good heroes are wronged to be criminals. The city is losing the light. Kirsten realizes that she should do something when she stands up to the powerful. She refuses to join the evil camp when her teacher tempts her with a good future.
Task Force becomes Fisk’s lackey after Fisk killed the chief police. They keep beat and kill people for their master’s victory. The episode makes me feel really down. I want to see Matt defeating Fisk. But I see our hero being caught. Matt needs a powerful hero to help him. So he will have a chance to win. The guy who saves him at the end of the episode might do the job. But I’m not sure if he’s good or evil.
