Ha-Ran is in Chan’s room in In Your Radiant Season episode 11. She finds her and Chan’s group photo. She’s excited. She puts the photo in Chan’s notebook. She tries to write a note to thank Chan. But she retakes the notebook. She sees Hyeok-Chan’s name in the notebook. She remembers Eun-Chan told her that Hyeok-Chan’s hand was hurt in the lab. She wonders why Chan knew Hyeok-Chan. She sees the words “Outside the lab”. She remembers the guy said something that only a student in the School of Engineering can.

Ha-Ran sees the design of the bracelet. She remembers Su-Jin told her that she came from Boston. She finds the invitation of Boston Institute of Technology. Ha-Ran leaves Shim Coffee House. Chan returns home. He sees the note Ha-Ran left. He tries to call her. But he finds out that she read his notebook.
Ha-Ran returns to her attic. She remembers Hyeok-Chan told her that his roommate’s name is Chan as well. She’s shocked after knowing Chan’s name is Sunwoo Chan. She remembers Chan called her name. He told her that it was dangerous. She realizes that he has known her for seven years.
Chan runs out of the coffee house. He notices that it’s snowing. Ha-Ran realizes that he knew her look and her name. She remembers he knew everything about her. She tears up when she thinks he pretended to be Hyeok-Chan. She doesn’t believe it. She thinks she will know the truth once she meets him. She goes out.
Chan runs to Ha-Ran’s house. He calls Ha-Ran. He asks for a meeting up. He promises her that he will explain everything to her. But she left her cell phone in the attic. Ha-Ran is on the way to the coffee house. She takes out her pen. She remembers Chan helped her find the pen. She took out two pens. She asked him to explain it to her. He claimed that he bought the pen in the United States. She realizes that the guy knew everything.
Chan returns to the coffee house. Ha-Ran is waiting for him. She asks him not to come to her. She asks him if he has known her for seven years. She disallows him to call her name. Because he pretended to be Hyeok-Chan. She asks him if he had fun. She asks him who he is. He apologizes to her. He thinks he shouldn’t have let her know it with such a way. He thinks he should have told it to her. She figures out that reason why he was flustered in front of the doctor. She realizes he couldn’t be caught. Because the doctor knew he stayed in Boston ever. Because it cannot be known by her.
Ha-Ran asks Chan if he pretended to be Hyeok-Chan, and he talked to her seven years ago. He feels sorry. She asks him why he did that. He explains it to her that he and Hyeok-Chan’s laptops were swapped. She asks him if it was funny that he concealed it from Hyeok-Chan to talk to her. She thinks he built the illusion and fell for her. She complains it to him that she cannot tell which one was Hyeok-Chan, and which one is him.
Ha-Ran touches the pen by mistake. She asks Chan about the engraving on the pen. She asks him who gave her the pen. He apologizes to her. She wonders what her seven years were for, if the pen was fake. She even made her grandma so sad. She yells at him. She thinks he should have told it to her at that time. He should have told it to her when she was like a fool to trust him. He explains it to her that he needed time. He thinks it was his fault. She asks him if he knew she held his hand with what kind of mindset. She took a great deal of determination to open her heart. He feels sorry for hurting her. He doesn’t ask her to trust him immediately. She thought it was amazing that there was someone trusting her completely. She felt grateful. But he knew her from the very beginning. He knew what caused her the most pain. He knew how to drive her to the brink. She thought he was the miracle. But she was just a reviewed person to him.
Chan chases Ha-Ran out of the coffee house. He stops her. He holds her hand. He tells her that she was wrong. She shakes off his hand. She tells him that he shouldn’t have made her like him so much since he’s a fake. He shouldn’t have let her trust him so much. She throws the pen to the ground. She didn’t know it was him. She was silly to cry and laugh because of him. She guesses he might have thought it was funny when he looked at her.
Chan stops Ha-Ran on the street. He begs her to listen to what he will say. She guesses he’s going to tell her that he was sincere. She thinks he cannot change the fact that it was a lie from the very beginning. Every moment he was with her, trying his best to conceal the lie. She thought a person like her wouldn’t be happy. Every time when she thought she was happy, she would lose someone. She mentions her parents and Hyeok-Chan. She thinks her life is suitable for the ending. She’s not allowed to get happiness. He helped her to prove it again. He reminds her that she will struggle alone if they’re over. He worries that she will do it because of him. She agrees with what he said that he pushed her into the winter. She tells him that her future was ruined by him. She walks away. He picks up the pen.
Ha-Ran walks on the street alone. She cries. Chan isn’t happy as well. He remembers the happy moments of him and the girl. Ha-Ran returns home. She throws away everything about Chan. She opens the window. She throws his pen out of the attic.
The next day, Chan sits in the yard. He remembers Ha-Ran told him that it was because of him. Man-Jae persuades the guy to have a talk with Ha-Ran. He thinks the girl will understand it if Chan is sincere to make it clear to her. He returns to his room to take his laptop.
Ha-Young walks into Ha-Ran’s attic. She wonders why she hides in her cave again. She notices that she has a fever. She mentions what she told her to wear warmly. She tries to take her to hospital. But Ha-Ran rejects it. She thinks she will be fine if she takes fever-reducing medication. Ha-Young points out that the medication cannot relieve the high fever. She persuades Ha-Ran to take a break. But Ha-Ran refuses to take break. Because grandma isn’t there. She decides to go out after she gets changed. She asks Ha-Young to go to get the car.
Chan arrives at Ha-Ran’s house when she just goes out. He asks her to take a look at his tablet. But she ignores him. She gets in the car. Ha-Young sees Chan. She tries to open the door of the car. But Ha-Ran asks her sister to set off. Ha-Young drives the car. She thinks the thing was very important since Chan came to their house. She wonders if Ha-Ran and Chan had a fight.
At Nana Kim Atelier, Chan arrives at the office. The colleagues greet the guy. He walks to Ha-Ran. He tries to talk to her. But she tells the colleagues she didn’t arrange a meeting. She asks them not to let anyone get into her office. Chan tells Ha-Ran that he won’t explain. He won’t make excuse as well. He knows she won’t listen to what he will say. He tries to hand over the tablet to her again. But she returns to her office. She opens the door. Jeremy volunteers to buy a meal. He invites Chan to have lunch with them since he came. Chan rejects the invitation. He puts the medicine on the desk. He asks Jeremy to give it to Ha-Ran. But he doesn’t want Ha-Ran to know it. He leaves the office. Pu-Reum notices that the guy is sicker than Ha-Ran is.
Ha-Young talks about the work with Seung-Gyu in the office. Jeremy brings up that Tae-Suk didn’t come to the company. Kim Sol guesses the guy was very busy. Because he needs to do a lot of things for Na-Na. Seung-Gyu wonders when the guy started working at the company. Ha-Young reveals 19 years old. Jeremy is shocked. He thinks Tae-Suk is a legendary figure. Kim Sol points out that Tae-Suk hasn’t appeared too long even if he was busy. Jeremy agrees with what she said. He thinks Tae-Suk resigned.
At the hospital, Ha-Ran reports to Na-Na that she has picked the clothes. She asks her to approve it. Na-Na signs the paper. She asks Ha-Ran if she’s fine. She notices that she’s not well. Ha-Ran claims that she just caught a cold. But Na-Na doesn’t think so. She mistakes that Chan’s condition got worse. Ha-Ran denies it. She asks Na-Na to care for her health. She doesn’t have to worry about her and the company. She asks Man-Jae to return home. Because she will be there. But he rejects it. Because he has told everyone that he will be in charge of the ward. He asks her to return home. Na-Na tells Ha-Ran that she looks like she’s about to pass out. She asks her to return home as well. Ha-Ran thanks Man-Jae. She leaves the ward. Na-Na expresses that she worries about her granddaughter.
In the ward, Yoo-Gyum pretends that he’s fine after his leg was hurt. Ha-Dam is very happy. She doesn’t know her boyfriend concealed his real condition from her. Tae-Suk visits Na-Na. He thinks he never protected her. He cries. He apologizes to her. She wonders if he will resign again after she recovers. She mentions he did it on the day 13 years ago. He tried to resign after he caused the deaths of Ha-Ran’s parents. But Na-Na asked him to prepare for college entrance exams.
Na-Na brings up that Tae-Suk had the same expression at Ha-Ran’s parents’ funeral. She tells him that she asked him to meet her because he reminded her her past. She tried her best to live even if nobody appreciated her. She struggled in Paris alone when she was twenty years old. She flied to Paris where she didn’t have any friends. She tried her best to study and date. But she was pregnant suddenly. She gave a birth to the baby alone. She carried the baby to study in the fashion school. She believed that someone would appreciate her one day. She felt heartbroken for herself after she made it. She was very proud at the same time. She met him on that day. She felt heartbroken for him. So she helped him. She wanted to appreciate him.
Tae-Suk brings up that Na-Na took care of him. She changed his life. But she never treated it as grace. She thinks he has repaid her enough. But he thinks he’s not qualified to stay by her side. She asks him to put it down. She thinks he wouldn’t discover it even if he drove the car. Nobody in her family blames him. He feels guilty because of his kindness. He doesn’t have to do so. She asks him to continue to guard her.
Ha-Young hears the conversation outside the ward. She remembers Tae-Suk kept apologizing. She hands over the candy to him. She tells him that she didn’t intend to eavesdrop. She needed to take the fruits to her grandma. She learns the reason why he went to her parents’ grave. She disallows him to apologize. She agrees with what her grandma said that her family didn’t blame him. She tells her parents that it wasn’t the man’s fault. She opens the candy for him. She asks him to put down all the burdens. He tells her that she gave the candy to him again. She’s surprised. She mentions he gave her the candy last time. She forgets that she gave him the candy before. He doesn’t leak what she did even if he knows it.
Chan returns to the coffee house. He remembers Ha-Ran didn’t allow him to get into her office. He coughs. Man-Jae calls Chan. He notices that his voice isn’t good. He guesses he caught a cold. He figures it out that something happened. Chan claims that nothing happened except he missed Man-Jae. Genius worries about Chan. Chan comforts Genius that everything will be fine.
The next day, Chan tangles Ha-Ran on the street. He tells her that she saved him seven years ago. He blocks her way. He tells her that he wants to let her see the real him. He thinks he should have told it to her early. He asks her to check the tablet. But she refuses to check the tablet. Because he has hurt her deeply. She returns the tablet to him. She walks away. The tablet drops on the ground. It’s crushed by the car. Ha-Dam visits Yoo-Gyum in the ward. He cries when he watches the video. He tells her that he knows he cannot do it. She hugs him.
In the evening, Man-Jae accompanies Na-Na in the ward. She knows she has to get a haircut if she accepts the surgery. She will be ugly. He takes out the hat he knitted for her. He puts the hat on her. He asks her to live with him after the surgery.
Man-Jae returns home. He sees Chan. He learns that Ha-Ran has known the truth. But Chan doesn’t want to lose the girl. He passes out. Man-Jae takes care of Chan. He remembers he suggested that Chan should show his true heart to the girl.
Outside the house, Ha-Ran tells Ha-Young that she wants to give up everything. But she doesn’t know what to do. She falls asleep in her arms. Ha-Young takes care of Ha-Ran in the room. She wakes up. She finds out that her sister left. She calls her. But Ha-Ran leaves her cell phone at home.
Ha-Young calls Chan. She tells him that Ha-Ran went missing. She mentions Ha-Ran talked about the nightmare. Chan knows where Ha-Ran went. He’s on the way to see Ha-Ran. He remembers he beat Hyeok-Chan. He arrives at the place. He sees Ha-Ran crying in the car. He worries that Hyeok-Chan’s death was because of him.

The next day, Chan goes to the hospital to meet Su-Jin. He confirms that he beat Hyeok-Chan. He wonders why he did it. Su-Jin reminds Chan that he told it to Hyeok-Chan after the guy came back. He was the one who killed Hyeok-Chan.
Ha-Ran returns home. Ha-Young tells her sister that Chan went to look for her. Ha-Ran asks Ha-Young not to contact the guy. But Ha-Young tells Ha-Ran that Chan turned off his phone. Ha-Ran remembers Chan’s ear isn’t good. She leaves home. Ha-Young goes to the coffee house to look for Chan. But he disappears. A few months later, Ha-Ran walks down the street in the evening. She tears up. Because she misses Chan. A snowflake lands on her shoulder.
