Ken and the girl notice that Horikita got a haircut. They’re shocked. The girl thinks Horikita was very decisive. Horikita wonders if it’s weird to get a haircut. Ken denies it. He thinks the girl Kushida’s short hair looks great as well. She agrees with what he said. But she still wants to know what happened to Horikita. Horikita says that she did it to show determination. She knows she’s going to fight for Class 2-D. So she wants to do anything that she can do. Kushida decides to grow her hair long after she heard Horikita’s words.
The teacher Chabashira walks into the classroom. She asks the students to download an app “Over All Ability”. The app will be available throughout the school. It will bring a lot of benefits to the school life. Personal information for all students is in the app. The boy checks his cell phone. He tells his teacher that his grades are like video games to be digitized. She tells him that it’s the individual assessment of each student that was made by the school. Grades for the entire school year can be viewed. Ken finds out his level is E. The teacher tells him that if he gets a perfect score on the next exam, he will get A rating.
But the student who wears glasses worries that keeping poor grades will become a stain. Haruka knows everyone in the school will see it. The teacher comforts her that it’s just the past scores. It won’t affect the future rating of them. The system can fix the perceptions of students with poor grades, encouraging them to grow.
Kiyotaka thinks it’s a convenient grade confirmation tool. But he knows it must be more than that. The teacher claims that the app is very fair. It will fairly evaluate everyone. It will help students talk. But the students whose overall abilities do not meet a certain standard will be punished.
Airi worries that the students will be dropped out of the school. Kanji is started after knowing the truth. The teacher tells the students that it’s the current ratings of them. They need to show their abilities in the coming year. Letting the school to recognize their qualifications.
Horikita realizes that they need to fight alone. Kiyotaka thinks they give up the class competition model if they use the app. He figures out the reason why everyone is dissatisfied. The teacher reveals the system was imported after Miyabi Nagumo suggested. Kiyotaka remembers the dream Nagumo mentioned. He thinks the guy made it. The teacher tells the students that their first special test will be imported a new attempt that they haven’t seen. They need to team up with first-year students taking the exam. The school thinks students’ communication skills weren’t improved because they never did it. She reminds them that the people they’re going to contact after they leave the school won’t be recent graduates. They might compete with the students of first and third grades. They can decide it on their own that which student they’re going to work with. The exam will be held at the end of the month.
Horikita thinks it will be hard to build the trust with the juniors from zero. Because they haven’t been in touch. OAA was developed because of the reason. Yousuke asks the teacher what will happen if the student doesn’t fine the partner until exam. She tells him that the student will be arranged a partner. But the student’s score will be deducted five percent. Kushida realizes that they need to find a partner, otherwise she will be over.
After class, Yousuke doesn’t know what to do. He knows there’s no juniors wanting to team up with him. Because his rating is E. Airi isn’t confident as well. Kiyotaka persuades his classmates to calm down. Because they need plans. Horikita agrees with what he said. They don’t have to be flustered. She offers to check the scores first. The bottom line for expulsion is 500 points. It means that the student with E rating can be easy to face the exam as long as she teams up with a student with B rating. Kiyotaka tells the students that they can survive as long as they study hard like before. The important thing is that they shouldn’t choose partners carelessly. They need to talk with Horikita if there’s a problem.
Kiyotaka looks at his cell phone. He wonders if the student will be expelled once the school thinks he intends to get a low score. He thinks it will prevent the students from doing it. But it cannot stop the students from White Room. He knows the guy won’t care for dying with him if he teams up with him. He will get a zero score. It means that he’s out once he chooses the people of White Room. He believes that the rules were established by Tokinari Tsukishiro.
Horikita meets Kiyotaka in the hallway. She brings up that they agreed to decide who’s the winner during winter break. He thinks the special exam is suitable for it. She tells him that she will join the Student Council once he wins. He needs to unleash his hidden potential for the class once she wins. She discovers that there’re 54 students with rating B in first grade. There’re only four students with E rating in their class. There’re only 12 students even if counting the students with D rating. There’s enough combat power that can be used from first grade. But he points out that the problem is that how many gifted students wanting to team up with people who have D or E rating.
Horikita agrees with what Kiyotaka said. She thinks they should deal with Ken first. He mentions the guy’s grades have improved. But if he’s the first-grade student who knows nothing about it, who he will choose if Ken and Kanji are provided at the same time. He admits that Ken gives people a terrifying impression. She thinks the guy will be hard to find a partner. So she wants to take action immediately. She asks him to help her. They receive a message from Ichinose who arranged a networking event for the students in the gym. Horikita praises Ichinose for considering all aspects. Kiyotaka believes that Class A and Class C will have other strategies. Horikita guesses those guys will buy points from first-grade students. Kiyotaka thinks they should invest as well. But she thinks they cannot afford to play the money game. She offers to go to the networking event first. He decides to help her. She’s surprised that he wants to help her. He claims that he wants to watch the combat style of her. She thinks she was too hasty. She shouldn’t have used the word “help”.
In the gym, Horikita watches Ichinose talk with the first-grade students. She thinks the girl is trying to build trust. It’s her style. But Ken thinks they don’t have time to be slow. He worries that the smart guys will be taken away by the students of Class B. Horikita points out that they cannot defeat Ichinose in social circles. She offers to leave. But Ken thinks it’s not a right choice. She points out that more than half of the students didn’t attend the networking event. She decides to negotiate with the students. She reminds Ken and Kiyotaka that the students of Class 1-D didn’t attend the event. It shows the will of the class. It means that there’s a chief in the class. The chief refused to attend the event. Horikita thinks they don’t have to play mine games if they can negotiate with the chief.
Horikita, Kiyotaka and Ken walk out of the gym. They run into the guy. The guy laughs when he thinks Ichinose is still the same as ever. Horikita thinks the girl wants to save the classmates and the first-grade students. The guy wonders if the girl knows the disadvantages to try to win over the fool. He thinks she gives up the game. Horikita figures it out that the people of Class A didn’t attend because they expected what would happen. She wonders how they will win over gifted students. He says that it depends on how the princess will decide. They just need to follow instructions. He walks away.
Horikita, Kiyotaka and Ken are on the way to Class 1-D. They run into Ryuuen in the hallway. The guy thinks Horikita is too slow. She guesses he came to scout first grade because he didn’t go to the networking event. He thinks the ones who went to the gym are good-for-nothing. Ken worries that Ryuuen did something to Class 1-D. Ryuuen comforts Ken that he didn’t do it. Horikita reminds Ryuuen that his attitude will make first-grade students feel afraid. He believes that those guys will agree as long as he threatens them. But Horikita tells him that nobody will agree if he uses the method.
Ryuuen remembers there’s no rule not allowing him to threaten someone else. Horikita points out that he will get into trouble once it causes a problem. But he thinks he won’t be stupid to leave a loophole. He tells a good news to her that the first-grade students are well-behaved. It means that the school told the mechanism to the new students. She realizes that the students will resist them. Kan thinks they should go to negotiate quickly. But the classroom is empty after he ran into the classroom.
The two first-year students Nanase and Hosen visit Class 2-D. Horikita admires their courage. But Hosen thinks the girl is arrogant. Ken is furious to throw a fit to Hosen. Nanase tells Hosen that Ken’s rating is E. He thinks Ken is a fool. He knows the people of Class 2-D cannot team up with someone else if they don’t help them. She learns that the two want to team up with them. She thinks it’s a high-handed demand. Hosen asks Ken to beg them. Ken gets angry. He wants to beat the guy. But Horikita stops Ken. She tells Hosen that their positions are equal because they’re D.
Kiyotaka can tell that Hosen discovered the special weapon of first-year students. Horikita asks Hosen about his methods. He reminds her that they can bring down the score. Ken tells Hosen that he will be expelled if he does it. But Hosen thinks Ken will be punished if he cannot find the partner. Horikita realizes that Hosen wants to deduct personal points even if he won’t be expelled. He thinks it’s nothing. Because it’s not a big problem.
Ken is furious to grab Hosen’s collar. But Horikita reminds Ken that there’re cameras in the school. Hosen pushes Ken over after Ken was afraid of the camera. Ken wants to give Hosen a lesson. But Ishizaki hugs Ken. Hosen thinks Ishizaki is a cockroach. Ishizaki cannot stand it. Ryuuen shows up with the girl. He stops Ishizaki. He knows Hosen was famous. Ishizaki is surprised that Ryuuen knows the guy. Hosen wants to fight Ryuuen. But Ryuuen doesn’t accept the challenge. The girl asks him if he wants to be looked down by the first-year students. Hosen bullies the girl for making Ryuuen fight him. But Nanase stops Hosen. She threatens him that she will leak his secret. She leaves with him. Kiyotaka notices Nanase’s eyes.
