In the library, Ayanokouji and Horikita meet Nanase in Classroom of The Elite Season 4 episode 3. Ayanokouji figures it out that Hosen didn’t extort points from others. He thinks the guy would let the poor students team up if he wanted to do that. Horikita agrees with what Ayanokouji said. After all, the punishment for failing shouldn’t be underestimated. Nanase tells Ayanokouji that his reasoning is right. Hosen didn’t ask his classmates for payment.
A Leader’s Realization
Ayanokouji guesses Hosen just controlled the class and set the rules. The one who breaks the rules will be excluded from the class. Horikita claims what she wants is the mutual trust. She asks Nanase to let her have a talk with Hosen. Nanase calls Hosen. She lets him talk to Horikita. Horikita asks Hosen for a meeting up. But he rejects it. She learns that she’s not allowed to negotiate. Nanase tries to persuade the guy. He threatens her that he will kill her. She doesn’t want to be killed by him. But she begs him to meet Horikita. He tells Horikita not to visit him if she doesn’t prepare the points. He hangs up. Nanase bows to Horikita. She apologizes to her. But Horikita thanks the girl for helping them. She mentions she has told Hosen what she wants to do. It’s enough.
Ayanokouji is cooking in his room. He gets a call from Kei. He asks her if she looked into the case. She says that she did it so that she called him. It was only sold one, according to what the salesperson said. It seems that there was a freshman wanting to buy it. But he had a talk with someone after he paid the bill. So he decided not to buy it. Ayanokouji asks Kei who was the student who returned the item. She doesn’t know. The salesperson said that the customer was a girl. Kei wonders if her intelligence is useful. Ayanokouji tells his girlfriend that it’s very useful. She laughs. She brags she’s very capable. She asks him not to forget to thank her. He thanks her. He cares for her study progress. She complains it to him that he wasn’t there even if she went to the book club. He wonders if she would study hard if he was there. She admits it. She would show her hardworking side in front of her boyfriend. He invites her to his room tomorrow. She’s excited after knowing she can go to have fun. He tells her that it’s not a game. It’s about studying.
The next day, Horikita meets Kouenji in the classroom. She brings up that he doesn’t have a partner. He thinks it’s not a problem. He claims that he can pass no matter who’s his partner. She wants to help him decide a partner. He rejects it. He laughs to walk away.
In the library, Nanase apologizes to Horikita and Ayanokouji for letting them wait for her. She reveals she was negotiating with Hosen. She tried to take the guy to the library. But she failed. Horikita realizes that she and Ayanokouji should go to visit Hosen. Nanase asks her senior to listen to what she has to say. She thinks they cannot fight too long, according to Hosen’s plan. She wants to be the leader of Class 1-D. But Horikita thinks the burden is too heavy to Nanase. Nanase says that it’s fine. She doesn’t want to lose the trust and opportunity that Horikita gave to her. Horikita reminds Nanase that her class will split into two if she goes against Hosen. She cannot let her do that. She thinks she can resolve the problem as long as she wins Hosen over. She wants to help her change the guy’s mind.
Nanase reminds Horikita that it’s dangerous. But Horikita has come to realize it. She thinks the chances of a partnership are very high, even if Hosen had a terrible attitude. She will treat it as an unconventional affection. Nanase reveals she thought it was best to convince Hosen. She will bring Hosen to Horikita by the day after tomorrow. Horikita trusts Nanase. She will expect the meeting up.
Horikita goes to the book club. Nanase thinks the senior is very busy. She mentions Horikita is a class leader. But she wonders what kind of person Ayanokouji is. She thinks he might be evil and dirty. He thinks she would watch him for proving she was above him, if she was a student of White Room. But her words are weird when she faces the same White Room student. She tries to leave. But he stops her. He asks her if she knows Protection Points. She heard it the first time. He tells her that it’s the system to invalidate the withdrawal once it’s used. She wonders why he told it to her. He says that it’s a present that she helped them.
Kei visits Ayanokouji. She reveals put a lot of effort into it for avoiding not being seen. He offers to begin. But she thinks they can do something else. He claims that he can accompany her for a long time as long as her academic ability isn’t an issue. He takes her into the room. She brings up that his academic ability is C. She believes he could get higher rating. He admits it. She wonders why he concealed it. He says that he didn’t want to stand out. She wonders how many points he could take if he showed what he was made of. He says 400 points. He didn’t see any questions that he couldn’t answer after he enrolled. He asks her to study since she has known it. She asks him to sit next to her to teach her.
Kei lies on Ayanokouji’s bed after she studied. She finds a hair. She gets angry after she noticed that it’s red hair, and it’s long hair. She thinks it’s a girl’s hair no matter how she looks at it. Ichika visits Ayanokouji. Kei recognizes the girl immediately, according to the red hair. Ichika learns that there’s a guest. She decides to visit next time. But Ayanokouji lets her in.
Ichika introduces herself to Kei. She guesses she’s her senior. She wants to know her name. Kei tells her name to Ichika. Ichika wonders if Kei is Ayanokouji’s girlfriend. Kei tells the girl that it’s not her business. She asks her about her and Ayanokouji’s relationship. Ichika decides to give the answer to Kei later. She tells Ayanokouji that she left her thing at his place. It’s the hair tie she likes. She remembers she took it down in the room. She gets Ayanokouji to go to look for the hair tie.
Kei asks Ichika to answer the question that she asked. Ichika reveals Ayanokouji is her chef. Ayanokouji tells Kei that Ichika is Sudou’s partner. He cooked for the girl ever. Kei wants to know why the man cooked for Sudou’s partner. Ichika goes to the kitchen. Ayanokouji comforts Kei that he just cooked for Ichika one time. But she plans to ask the girl about it. Ichika finds the hair tie. She thinks she disturbed Kei and Ayanokouji. She decides to leave. She tells Ayanokouji that his girlfriend is cute. She thinks they shouldn’t stay alone when he cooks for her next time. She offers to let Kei eat together. Kei thinks Ayanokouji knew a cute junior after Ichika left. She’s a bit of a diva.
Ayanokouji sits outside the restaurant. He believes that he will encounter the students of White Room. Sakayanagi shows up. She sits with him. She mentions he contacted the first-year students. He claims that he just helped Horikita look for the partners for Sudou and Kanji. She guesses White Room sent assassins to the school for forcing him to drop out. He tells her that she doesn’t have to worry about it. He plans to give up his old way of thinking. He won’t conceal his ability. She volunteers to help him find a partner. He thinks she’s very generous. But he rejects it. She wonders if he doesn’t trust her judgment. He recognizes her abilities. But he wants to decide the fate on his own. She decides to stand in the distance to watch how he will fight. She walks away.
A girl and a boy visit Ayanokouji. The boy is Class 1-C Riku Utomiya. The girl is Class 1-C Sakurako Tsubaki. They want to talk to Ayanokouji about finding a partner.
The three go to a cafe. Sakurako expresses she wants a carefree relation because she doesn’t want to owe someone a favor. Ayanokouji asks a question that he cares about. He wants to know how many people they talk to before they came to him. Riku confesses it to the senior that he was the first one. Ayanokouji doesn’t believe the two happened to choose him. Riku says that there was a reason. They would ask to take out some points if it was the seniors of Class 2-A and Class 2-C. Ayanokouji thinks it makes sense. He tells the two that he didn’t find a partner. But he found a candidate on the waiting list. They’re negotiating if they can join forces. Sakurako decides to go to look for others. She thinks it will be faster. Riku gives his number to Ayanokouji. Ayanokouji tells the two that he will visit them if he’s rejected by someone.

Ichinose meets Kei in the park. She asks her why she broke up with Hirata. Kei is surprised that she didn’t tell Ichinose the reason. Ichinose heard the reason. But she cannot accept it. She believes that Kei dumped the guy for another goal. Kei pretends not to understand what Ichinose is saying. Ichinose cries when she asks Kei if she’s dating Ayanokouji. She thinks she’s right. Kei tries to deny. Ichinose wonders if Kei had feelings for Ayanokouji when she asked her to help her get together with the guy. She asks her to confess, otherwise she cannot treat her as her friend. Kei admits it to Ichinose that she’s dating Ayanokouji. They began to date after spring break. Ichinose wants to know when her friend fell for the guy. Kei tells Ichinose that he had feelings for Ayanokouji when she asked her for advice. She guesses she was very angry. Ichinose blames Kei for doing it behind her back when she knew her feelings. But she has been dumped by Ayanokouji. So she has no right to get angry. But she slaps Kei. Kei asks for another slap. But Ichinose doesn’t have enough courage. She apologizes to her friend for slapping her. Kei apologizes to Ichinose instead. She mentions they fell for the same man. Ichinose wipes off her tears. She tells Kei that she had no choice. Because Ayanokouji was very handsome. Kei is moved to hug her friend.
In the evening, Ayanokouji goes to the Karaoke club. He runs into Sudou. He asks him if his exam preparation was going smoothly. Sudou brags that he planned to score 250 points. Ayanokouji thinks the guy liked to study. Sudou denies it. He would feels a surge of energy when Horikita praised him. He asks Ayanokouji if the girl will accept him if he confesses. Ayanokouji thinks the girl won’t do that. Sudou brings up that he brought a lot of trouble to his classmates. He doesn’t think those guys will forgive him. He decides to work on his weaknesses so that he can contribute to the class when he graduates. Ayanokouji asks Sudou what he will do if Horikita refuses to look back at him. Will he dislike studying? Sudou thinks he will want to die and beat someone. But he knows his goddess will be completely disappointed in him if he does so. Horikita shows up. She takes the two guys to the room. She believes that she can win Hosen over. Hosen shows up with Nanase. He gets the girl to walk aside. He smiles at Horikita.
