Classroom of The Elite Season 4 Episode 8

Ayanokouji meets Kiriyama in a glass house. Kiriyama mentions the Deserted Island Exam is going to begin. He asks Ayanokouji if he prepared for it. Ayanokouji thinks he did everything he could. He asks Kiriyama if he did it. Kiriyama plans to start a personal feud during the exam. They were demoted after they were defeated by Nagumo. The guy controlled the whole school. The outcome between classes has been decided. He has to fight Nagumo with personal status.

Ayanokouji gets the senior’s point. But it’s not the thing that he needs to intend to tell to him. Kiriyama claims that it means that he doesn’t want to be interfered. He brings up that Ayanokouji got Horikita to join the Student Council. He knows he did it for keeping an eye on Nagumo. Ayanokouji admits it. But the main reason isn’t the case. He did it for letting Horikita take the path that her brother did. Kiriyama learns that Ayanokouji won’t hinder him. As long as Horikita doesn’t think Nagumo will cause an obstruction.

Kiriyama goes against it. He reveals Nagumo knew he worked with Manabu. He worries that he will be in danger if Ayanokouji and Horikita are nosy. Ayanokouji realizes that Kiriyama wants to catch the chance to transfer to Class 3-A. Kiriyama says that it’s meaningless if he cannot graduate with the status of Class 3-A. He doesn’t want to fall with the freaks in Class 3-B.

The girl shows up. She thinks Kiriyama is with the interesting junior. She tells Ayanokouji that he won’t get any benefits from it that he spends his time on such a man. Kiriyama talks back that it’s more meaningful than Ayanokouji is with her. She points out that the one who judges it will be Ayanokouji. Kiriyama introduces the girl Kiryuin to Ayanokouji. She’s just like him that she’s a student of Class 3-B. Ayanokouji checked the OAA. The girl’s academic and physical abilities are A plus. She’s the student with the highest ratings.

Kiriyama thinks Kiryuin is so if they only talk about her grades. But she doesn’t have backing like Nagumo. She’s the one who couldn’t make any good friends. She persuades him not to praise her. She will be shy. He tells Ayanokouji that it’s a waste of time that he’s serious to take care of the girl. Kiryuin asks Kiriyama to come to her. She threatens him that she will walk to him if he doesn’t come. She asks him if he doesn’t care. He grabs his fist tightly. He thinks he has to stay in Class 3-B because of the people like her. She would only take action alone. She didn’t take any credit. She’s the selfish outsider in the class.

She whispers in his ear. She thanks him for his praise. He’s startled to step back. She claims that she wants to talk to Ayanokouji. She thinks Kiriyama is a real nuisance. Kiriyama asks Ayanokouji not to forget his words. He threatens him that he will be their enemy. He walks away.

Kiryuin sits with Ayanokouji. She tells him that he can talk to her about anything, as long as she can know what kind of person he is. He guesses she didn’t take any credit for Class 3-B because she wasn’t interested in her classmates. She says that she wasn’t interested in the system of the school that set Class A as its goal. She thinks she can find a way out with her abilities. He asks her if she wouldn’t choose the school if she knew it. She says that she likes the school very much. She’s happy with the point system as well.

He asks her why she visited him. He mentions there’re many students with excellent academic ability. She says that it’s her sixth sense. Her sixth sense told her that he wasn’t an ordinary person. She guesses he wants to get the first place during the exam. He says that there’s no student who doesn’t want to get the first place, except her. She claims that she’s one of the students who wants to compete for a top spot. She will get some personal points as long as she finishes in the top few places. She’s the one who will run out of the money that she earned. So she’s routine to lack money.

The special exam is the fight that decides the first place of the school. His performance on the Deserted Island will prove her judgement of him. He wishes he won’t suit her interests. She tells him that he has a very interesting way of speaking. She expects the fight with him.

Nagumo and Kiriyama show up after Ayanokouji left. Kiryuin teases that the loyal dog took the pet owner to come back. Nagumo asks the girl not to hurt his important partner. But she knows he spoke insincerely. She thought they wouldn’t talk face to face. He doesn’t want to stay too long. He thinks she’s a beauty. But she’s not cute at all. He’s not interested in the girls like her. She says that she’s so cute. She just didn’t encounter the man who brought it up. He thinks if there’s a man with such a talent, he will want to see it.

She doesn’t understand why she’s unpopular. He thinks a capable girl isn’t easy to be controlled. She gets his point that she gets the treatment because she’s too good. She strokes his hair. She notices that he was diligent in taking care of his hair. She guesses he might have had many girlfriends. She wonders if he mastered dating over the course of three years. He mentions she didn’t date any boys. He doesn’t believe that she knows the fundamentals of dating.

She says that it’s not shameful that she’s lack of experience. It will enhance her value instead. He tells her that her way of thinking is bizarre like before. He heard it from Kiriyama that she was interested in Ayanokouji. He mentions she wasn’t interested in him and Manabu. She tells him that he misunderstood it. She claims that it’s not that she doesn’t care about people. When she sees an interesting person, she will talk to him one time, no matter him or Manabu. She was interested in them ever.

He wants to know what she thinks of Ayanokouji. She wants to reserve it. She reveals the guy could still have fun than the Student Council President who she lost interest in. He laughs. He thinks she was the only one who thought highly of him. But he wants to correct her arrogance. She threatens him what he will lose will be difficult to estimate if he loses. She tells him that the guy had the charm that was different from him and Manabu. He thinks it’s too abstract. She persuades him to test the guy. It’s what he plans to do. After all, he can see the guy’s ability when he survives in the wild. Although she wanted to reserve her opinion of Ayanokouji, she thinks he’s an interesting student.

She knows juniors are just the perfect companion for fun to Nagumo. If he’s serious to fight, the first place will be him. He agrees with what she said that he will take first place. Or the Kiriyama who wants to betray him. But they need another team to take the top three spots. He asks Kiryuin to take the task. She learns that it’s his goal. She points out that he has countless pieces. It promotes him to think that she doesn’t have the enthusiasm. She feels sorry for making him go all that way for nothing. He knows she’s such a person who wasted his time. She gives him a suggestion that he shouldn’t care for the juniors. He just needs to look ahead. Otherwise he will get a hard-learned lesson.

At the mall, Ayanokouji runs into Kanzaki. Kanzaki is surprised that Ayanokouji came to the place so early. Ayanokouji points out that he won’t have time to enjoy it once the exam begins. Kanzaki brings up that Ichinose trusted Ayanokouji very much. He asks Ayanokouji if he can be trusted. Ayanokouji says that he doesn’t treat the girl as his enemy. He knows Kanzaki wants to make him make a verbal commitment. He will tell it to Ichinose.

Kanzaki realizes that Ayanokouji is a perceptive man. He guesses Class 2-D caught up quickly because he was behind it. He wants to ask him a favor. He asks him to tell Ichinose that she cannot do it. Ayanokouji wonders if Kanzaki expects that the girl will change her mind because of it. Kanzaki admits it. Ayanokouji refuses to help Kanzaki. Because he wants to continue to watch how the girl does it. Kanzaki has to resolve the problem on his own. He admits that he relied on someone else too much. He got an answer early. But he thought it would be better if he didn’t take the step. He always chose the easy way.

Ayanokouji meets Ryuuen and Katsuragi outside the cafe. He wonders what kind of gathering it is. Katsuragi asks Ryuuen to speak out the intention why he gathered them. Ryuuen persuades Katsuragi to be easy. But Katsuragi cannot do that. He mentions it will be a hassle if someone sees them getting together. Ryuuen asks Katsuragi about the goal of Class 2-A during the exam. He wonders if he wants to take the class points alone, or he has other goals. He brings up that Ichinose and Sakayanagi teamed up. He thinks it’s very suspicious. He wonders if the two joined forces.

Katsuragi tells Ryuuen that it’s his freedom no matter how he interprets it. He doesn’t plan to tell him anything. Ryuuen provokes the guy that he’s hesitant and timid. He tells him that it will be more fun if they force Sakayanagi to drop out. As long as the girl disappears, the leader position of Class 2-A will become vacant. In that case, Katsuragi will make a comeback. Katsuragi doesn’t know Ryuuen’s plans, but it won’t work. Sakayanagi has enough points to avoid the expulsion. She can use Protection Points as well.

Ryuuen admits that he must attack the girl two times to make her drop out. He says that he was kidding that he was going to take action during the next exam. After all, the exam isn’t used to kick the enemy off. It’s the exam that he needs to work his way up on his own. The key point is that they shouldn’t let the class points of the second-year be stolen. So he must recruit companions.

Katsuragi figures it out that Ryuuen wants him to help him. Ryuuen tells Katsuragi that he’s not the only one. He wants to recruit Ayanokouji as well. He tells the guy that he wouldn’t summon him without a season. Katsuragi thinks Ayanokouji is a person of exceptional talent in the field of mathematics. But he’s not a qualified person. Ryuuen doesn’t blame Katsuragi. Because Katsuragi knows nothing about it. He claims that his strategy isn’t wrong. After all, Ayanokouji knocked him down before.

Katsuragi is serious to ask Ayanokouji if what Ryuuen said was true. Ryuuen persuades Ayanokouji to admit it. But Ayanokouji won’t help the guy even if he admits it. Ryuuen knows Ayanokouji won’t agree easily. Katsuragi stands up. He can tell that Ryuuen didn’t plan to negotiate seriously. Ryuuen reminds Katsuragi that Class 2-A paid him monthly after last year’s exam because of his contract. He knows the feeling wasn’t good. But Katsuragi cannot take revenge even if he feels guilty.

Ryuuen asks Katsuragi to join Class 2-B. He will pay for him. But Katsuragi doesn’t want to give up the position in Class 2-A. Ryuuen persuades Katsuragi that Sakayanagi will be defeated by him in the future. In that case, the class will demoted. He takes out the Point Transfer Agreement. Katsuragi signed the agreement with Ryuuen. Ryuuen decides to give up the agreement for five million after he had a talk with Sakayanagi. The good chance won’t appear the second time.

Katsuragi asks Ryuuen why he does it for someone like him. Ryuuen realizes that Katsuragi thinks very little of himself. He admits that it’s an expensive deal. He asks him to sign the agreement. Katsuragi learns that Ryuuen is serious. Ryuuen asks the guy to treat it as fate to accept. Katsuragi asks Ryuuen if he can speak his mind freely. Ryuuen agrees. Because Katsuragi’s rigid views will work occasionally.

Ryuuen asks Ayanokouji what he’s doing. Ayanokouji says that he’s trying to dilute the coffee fourfold. He wonders what the taste will be. Katsuragi tells Ayanokouji that he’s weird. He asks Ryuuen what he wants Ayanokouji to do. Once he lets the student of Class 2-D join the team, the pay will be cut in half. Ryuuen doesn’t plan to let the guy join the team. He asks Ayanokouji to sell the trial card to him. Ayanokouji has one condition. He asks Ryuuen to exchange the halving card with the getting a ride card from their class. As long as Karuizawa uses the halving card, the loss will be within acceptable limits even if she’s punished.

At the school, Horikita gets off the elevator. Ayanokouji asks her how she will arrange the teams. She plans to let the classmates act alone. He worries that he will be disqualified if he feels unwell. He will drop out because of heavy fines. She points out that he doesn’t team up with anyone. He reminds her that she was sick before the exam. He thinks they should form a pair. But he and Kouenji are the only ones left in the class. He wants to get a person from other classes.

Outside the school building, Ibuki is shocked after knowing Ayanokouji wants her to team up with Horikita. Horikita isn’t satisfied with Ibuki, except her physical ability. Ibuki isn’t happy after she heard Horikita’s words. She glares at Ishizaki. She guesses he helped the two after knowing the details. He tells her that it’s fine. Because nobody wants to team up with her. She points at Ayanokouji. She says that she dislikes the guy. But she dislikes Horikita more. She refuses to agree even if she dies. Horikita provokes Ibuki. She doesn’t remember that she said that she would team up with her. She planned to fight alone. Ibuki claims that she wants to be alone as well. She thinks it’s good that Horikita wants to fight alone. She offers to go head-to-head. Horikita asks Ibuki why she dislikes her. They have had conflicts. But they don’t have a special feud. Ibuki tells Horikita that she’s the only one who thinks so. Horikita thinks it’s a waste of time. She tries to leave. Ibuki stops Horikita. She asks her if she accepts her challenge. Horikita tells Ibuki that she will accept her challenge after the exam. She asks her to work hard not to lose during the exam. She will approves of her if she wins.
