Olruggio rides the horse in the woods in Witch Hat Atelier episode 7. He asks Agott to carry the stuff well. Agott says that she knows it. The man who rides another horse in front of Olruggio. He tells him that the bridge is under the tree.
Who Is Magic For?
It flashes back. Agott asks Qifrey to take him. She thinks she will be very useful. He reminds her that it’s different from the exercises he did. There’re many ordinary people who aren’t witches there. She hasn’t accepted the second test. So she cannot use magic in front of those people. But she asks him how much longer she has to wait if it’s not the right time. She has been practicing for a long time to use magic in front of people. She prepared for the test early.
She thinks he should give her the chance to gain experience. The man urges Qifrey. He needs to come back as soon as possible. Olruggio shows up. He says that he will go first. He wants to go to set up the exit of the Window of the Door. He asks Qifrey to come after he prepares medicines and magical items. He will take Agott. Agott is very happy. She goes to take cape and hat. Tetia, Richeh and Coco run away to take their capes and hats as well. Olruggio asks Qifrey not to worry about it. He thinks something will be known after he experiences it.
Qifrey worries about Agott. Because she pays too much attention on the anxiety that she cannot learn. Lack of experience isn’t a sin. He wishes she won’t eager to grow so that she won’t go astray.
At present, Agott and Olruggio move along the mountain road. Olruggio notices that the ground is very unstable. They see a boat in the rushing current.
The villager recognizes the witch. The madam feels relieved. The guy informs the the people in the middle of the river that the witch came. Olruggio puts two rings in Agott’s hand. He asks her to use it to help everyone dry clothes. She needs to wait for his order after she completes the task. She wonders if she only needs the magical item. He asks her if she lacks motivation because it’s too simple. He realizes that Qifrey was right. He tells the girl that she’s rushing things too much. There’re other chances if she wants to show her abilities.
But if she wants to come in handy at the place. She needs to think about what she uses magic for. Agott mistakes that Olruggio treats her as a useless kid again. Even if she steps up her efforts, it’s all for nothing if there are no results. She must prove it to the person that she’s more valuable witch.
Olruggio lands on the boat. He summons Qifrey. Qifrey jumps off the cliff. He pulls out his water sword. He cuts through the water. The villagers are shocked after they watched the show. But Tetia asks those guys to step back. She tells them that it’s too dangerous near the cliff.
Olruggio is saving a kid. Qifrey asks Olruggio how many people in total. Olruggio says that it’s two kids. He flies away with a kid. Qifrey finds it really hard when he blocks the flow of water. He complains that he hates water. Olruggio reaches the cliff. He leaves the kid to the villagers. He asks Qifrey to hang in there. He jumps on the boat again. He saves another kid. Qifrey swings a sword.
Olruggio tells Qifrey that they made it. Everyone is fine. Olruggio carries the kid to the cliff. The man runs to his son Custas. He gives him a hug. Custas apologizes to the man Dagda. He says that he wanted to guard his goods. Dagda grabs Custas’s shoulders. He tells him that it’s fine as long as he’s safe. He thanks Olruggio and Qifrey. Qifrey feels relieved that they made it just in time. He reveals his disciples have some medicine. He asks Custas to go to get treated. But he finds out that his disciples are watching his sword.
He joins his disciples. Coco is excited to ask her master what it is. He holds the sword. He tells her that it’s Water Magical Sword. All the engravings on the sword are magical circles. Although it’s small magical circles, as long as the number is enough, it can part the sea.
Tetia wants to take the sword. Qifrey rejects it. Because enchanted weapons must be used with caution. He cannot let them touch it. Olruggio decides to go upstream to be on the safe side. Qifrey says that he will go downstream to confirm the extent of the damage. He asks Tetia to go with him. She’s happy to walk away with him. Olruggio asks Richeh to leave with him. The four take off. Qifrey leaves the place to Coco and Agott. Olruggio promises that they will come back soon. Coco laughs to say goodbye to the guys. She notices that Agott is arrogant.
The two heal the villagers. Coco realizes that she needs to fix Agott’s flying boots and return it to her. She dresses the villager’s wound. He thanks her. He calls her little witch. Another villager mentions half of the cargo was washed away.
Custas goes to save the cargo when he climbs down from the cliff with a rope. Dagda worries about Custas. He yells at him when he asks him what he’s doing. Custas comforts Dagda that he will come back after he picks up the cargo. But the mountainside collapses. Dagda wants to go to save Custas. Agott and the villager stop the man. The villager reminds Dagda that it will collapse again.
Coco calls Agott. Agott sees the girl’s hat. She realizes that she was buried. She finds Coco who’s going to fall into the water. She grabs the rock with her hands. So she’s fine. But Custas passes out. Dagda realizes that Agott is a witch as well. He begs her. He thinks Custas will be saved as long as she uses magic.
Agott tells herself that it’s a good chance. The masters aren’t there. She doesn’t have flying boots. So she cannot go to ask for help. Coco cannot move. It’s the emergency. If she uses magic to save a person, the person will look at her with new respect.
The villager walks to Agott. He asks her if she will use magic. He wants to see it. Agott remembers her mother refused to take her as a disciple. Because her magic wasn’t good enough. Their clan doesn’t need an incompetent person.
Agott tears up. She doesn’t understand why she remembered it at the moment. Coco calls Agott. She asks her what she can do to save Custas. Agott remembers Olruggio’s words. She should consider what she uses magic for.
Agott asks Coco if she can move. She wants to get the lowdown. Coco looks around. She reports it to Agott that the current is relatively slow because of the hole. They don’t have to worry that they will be flushed away. But nothing but dirt, extremely slippery. She thinks they cannot climb up. Custas is in a coma. The rock even an adult cannot move it. Agott realizes that she cannot let the people who aren’t witches see the process of drawing magic. She doesn’t know what to do.
At The Knights Moralis, the girl reports to Easthies that they received the report from the village in Kalhn. It says that the Mud Forest Zone was seen a huge water column. Easthies orders the knights to set off.
On the cliff, Agott notices that Coco doesn’t give up when there’s no way out. Coco asks Agott if she takes the rings of Olruggio. Agott takes out the couple’s rings. She throws the rings to Coco. Coco dries her bag with the rings. She says that she can let the rock float with the floating magic she just learned, as long as she gets some paper. But Agott thinks it’s a bit of a stretch to Coco. Witch needs to use long cape to cover her hands when she draws magic in front of uninformed people. She must have the skill that only uses fingertips to draw.
She introduces herself as Qifrey’s disciple to the people. She invites them to watch her show. She knows Coco cannot do that. But she can. She creates a light bird. The light bird flies in the sky. Coco sees the light bird. She knows Agott bought her some time. She remembers she practiced floating magic with taro. She thinks she can make it even if it’s her.
She touches the rock. She discovers that her planner is too small if she draws the magic that can move the heavy rock. Custas wakes up. Coco feels relieved. She introduces herself as a witch. She reminds him that they fell from above. He learns that he’s alive. He saw the glowing bird. He thought he was dead. She comforts him that it’s her friend’s magic.
The villager walks to Agott. He thinks the magic is very beautiful. He asks her if it’s just for aesthetic purposes. Dagda asks Agott if the magic can go to save Custas. He decides to go to save Custas. Agott worries that the guy will see Coco’s magic. She tries to stop him. They’re shocked when they see the floating Coco and Custas.
Coco cries to hug Agott. She feels relieved after she made it. But Agott pushes Coco away. She asks her how she did it. She finds sand from her robe. Coco mentions she was saved by the rock magic. Agott realizes that the small Wall-Breaking Magic is enough. It won’t hurt people. It can turn rock into sand. Coco says that she couldn’t do anything at that time. But her friend’s magic helped them. She thought she couldn’t do it on her own. But she saw the light bird. She remembered it.
Coco thanks Agott for helping her. Agott claims that she used the magic to call the masters back. She didn’t use it for Coco. She yells at her. She doesn’t remember she became her friend. Coco feels relieved that she saved Custas. She believes that she will save her mother one day.

Coco and Agott are tied by the silvery-white flag of bondage. Agott sees the crimson cape and winged hat. She realizes that those guys are The Knights Moralis. Easthies asks Agott and Coco who used the magic. He cannot forgive them even if they’re kids. He thinks they’re lackeys of Brimmed Caps. Agott yells at Easthies. She tells him that they’re not lackeys of Brimmed Caps. The magic they used wasn’t Forbidden Magic. It’s the magic that helps others.
Easthies lets the two kids to take a look below. Coco discovers that the rock, riverbed and everything around it turn into sand. Even the river water turns into mist. She’s scared. She doesn’t believe that she drew the magic. Easthies learns that it’s her magic. He thinks she couldn’t use the powerful magic if she didn’t touch the forbidden. The rules that were establish on The Day of the Alliance are Ironclad Rules. He asks her to accept the price of forgetting.
