At the Atelier, Agott and Coco are drawing magic in Witch Hat Atelier episode 6. Agott makes a mistake. She turns around and looks at Coco. She sighs. Coco smiles at Agott. But Agott leaves the room. Coco mistakes that she was too loud.
A Light on A Rainy Day
On the mountain top, Agott draws a light magic. She looks at the beam of light. She thinks the light is too dim, and it’s still unstable. A parrot flies toward the Atelier. Agott notices it.
In the room, Coco draws a magic. She complains that the lines aren’t good. She reveals she didn’t have time to choose suitable wand in Kalhn. Although she can use the Colored Stone to draw perfect line, it’s not suitable to draw on small piece of paper.
She remember she couldn’t draw any magic at that time, although the master said that Concept was the key of magic as well. She tells herself not to be discouraged. It’s very important to get used to it first. She tries to study hard. But she’s so sleepy.
She falls. She leans against Qifrey. He reminds her that she will catch a cold if she sleeps at the place. She’s startled to get off him. She explains it to him that she didn’t intend to sleep. But a wave of sleepiness washed over her. She thinks she cannot pass the test of the Tower of Books if she keeps it up. She won’t find the Picture Book. She falls into negative thinking again.
She tells him that she will do her best. Because she likes magic very much. He puts a book on her head. He takes her to the kitchen. He thinks the food in the pot should be eaten. He hands over the spoon to her. He asks her to taste it. She gets the soup from the pot with the spoon. She drinks the soup. It’s delicious. She’s happy to dance. But he tells her that it’s the stew he cooked two years ago. It can repeat the moment that he cooked with the magical pot. So the dish hasn’t gone bad. But the magical pot would be broken if he didn’t draw the magic again.
He throws the taro on the table. She picks up the taro. She says that it’s delicious. He asks her to help him grill the taro. He mentions she can draw Burning Fireball Magic.
She draws a Burning Fireball. She tries to put the taro on the fire. But the taro falls. It puts out the fire. He teaches her that the taro is very heavy. So she should draw the floating arrows a little longer. It doesn’t work that the fire is too low or it’s tilted to one side.
She burns the taro. He tells her that her problem is that the magical pattern was too large. He asks her to continue to try it. She draws a perfect burning fireball. She takes out the taro from the flame. She tells him that she made it. He applauds.
He cuts open the taro. It was cooked perfectly. He asks her if she still wants to sleep. He mastered water magic first. It’s fine that he cannot swim. He doesn’t like to get wet. He spent a lot to practice to be slacking off when he washed something. If she cannot wait to learn it, he suggests that she should bring magic into everyday life. It’s the best method. There’s no better master than life. If she’s good at cooking, she can practice and satisfy a craving.
Tetia and Richeh show up. Tetia reveals she smelled the aroma. She finds out that Coco and Qifrey are cooking something good. She volunteers to melt the cheese. Richeh expresses that it’s very good to cook with magic. Qifrey asks the two to hold on. Because he wants to ask Coco to take care of it.
Coco completes the cooking. She offers to go out to have meal. Qifrey thinks it’s a good idea. He wants to treat it as picnic. The girls are very happy after they received the order. He goes to take what he should prepare. Agott shows up. Coco invites the girl to have lunch with them outside. But Agott rejects the invitation. She claims that she needs to work while she eats.
It’s raining outside. Tetia isn’t happy with it. She complains that the weather was nice. Richeh says that they have no choice. Coco mentions what the master said that he didn’t want to get wet as well. Qifrey shows up. He wonders why the kids are disappointed. He steps on the water. He reminds them that they’re witches. He asks them to grab their things to head out.
The group leaves the Atelier. They have lunch under a bridge. Coco notices that the clouds have cleared. The rainbow appears. She jumps out of the bridge. She thinks she should go to call Agott. She wants to enjoy the magic that the sky shows with the girl.
Coco runs to the Atelier. But the one who opens the door is a man. He doesn’t know who she is. He guesses Alaira sent her there. Qifrey runs to Coco when he calls her. He reveals everyone came back when it was going to rain heavily. She hides behind him. She tells the man that she’s the disciple of Qifrey.
The man Olruggio is furious after knowing Qifrey took on a disciple. Qifrey asks Olruggio if his work was done. He thought it would take some time. Olruggio asks Qifrey why he took on an extra disciple on the sly. Qifrey says that there’s a reason. Coco is the victim of the Forbidden Magic.
Olruggio drags Coco. He tells Qifrey that he doesn’t want to get involved in Brimmed Caps. He wants to give the kid to The Knights Moralis. Qifrey makes a huge wave to block Olruggio’s way. He tells him that he disallows him to take Coco away, even if he’s his best friend.
Olruggio is surprised that Qifrey used the magic to deal with him. He asks him who is the kid. Qifrey asks Olruggio to get in the house first. He will explain it to him well then.
In the Atelier, Tetia dries Richeh’s hair with a towel. She guesses a storm is coming tonight. In another room, Olruggio learns that Qifrey made an exception to take on an uninformed person as his disciple. Qifrey thinks Olruggio was rude to call Coco uninformed person. Her name is Coco. Olruggio apologizes to Coco. But that’s the only name to the humans who aren’t witches.
Qifrey guesses Coco saw Olruggio for the first time. He tells her that the man is the Watchful Eye of the Atelier. The Atelier is located in the suburbs. A witch was sent to the Atelier to live as Watchful Eye to prevent the concealment of issues.
There’s a guy who’s concealing problems. He’s explaining it without a shred of remorse. The guy is Qifrey. Qifrey explains it to Olruggio that he would lose the clue of the Forbidden Magic Picture Book if he erased Coco’s memory. He thinks it’s the best method to help Coco’s mother recover.
Olruggio thinks they shouldn’t talk about the clue. He points out that it’s their duty to look into Forbidden Magic. He asks Qifrey to leave it to The Knights Moralis. Qifrey knows Coco wants to know what is The Knights Moralis.
The Knights Moralis follow the rules that were established on The Day of the Alliance. Getting rid of the people who dabbled in Forbidden Magic, and the memories of the people who discovered the secrets of magic. They’re a group of witches who guards magic. They only follow the rules. They’re impartial and incorruptible. They never make an exception.
If Qifrey leaves Coco to those guys, her longing for magic will be removed. Qifrey tells Olruggio that Coco is a good girl. She was diligent and hardworking. She deeply loved her mother. Most importantly, she loves magic. It’s his sin that letting the girl know the secret. He asks Olruggio to erase his memory if he wants to erase Coco’s memory.
Olruggio is shocked after he heard Qifrey’s words. He thought Qifrey planned to settle down when he took on the kids as his disciples. He lets him do as he pleases. But he will report it to The Great Hall of Witches, if something goes wrong. After all, it’s the duty as the Watchful Eye.
Olruggio goes to the second floor. Coco worries about it. Qifrey comforts the girl that she passed the test with her magic. She became the official disciple. So she can stand tall. He asks the kids to go to take a hot shower. So they won’t catch a cold.
Coco chases Brushbuddy. Brushbuddy flees into Olruggio’s room. Coco tries to knock at the door. But she sees the note that she will be cursed if she knocks at the door. She gets in the room. She asks Brushbuddy to come out. She offers to dry the hair together. She sneezes.
Olruggio shows up. He tells Coco that no knocking means no entering. He throws Brushbuddy to her. She takes a look at Brushbuddy. She’s surprised that the guy is dry now. He jumps on her shoulder. Olruggio lets his two rings contact. Coco is dry as well after the magic affects her. She realizes that it’s his magic. She thanks him. But he says that he will be in trouble if she catches a cold. Because he’s the Watcher. She’s surprised that he needs to watch health as well.
He admits to her that he made a mistake not to close the door. But he asks her to leave his room. He tries to ask her not to touch anything. But she does it. He gets angry. She puts her hands on the floor. The stone slab glows. She likes the magic very much. He tells her that Light Stone Path is his masterpiece. It’s the magic that stack two layers of stone slabs, using weight to combine magical pattern and circle.
She tells him that the light is very special to her. The stone slabs glow as she walks. It’s as if she owns the power of magic. Taking a step makes her happy, although it left behind sad memories. The magic gave her dream. So she thanks him. She calls him master. He throws her out of his room. He tells her that he’s not her master. She leaves.

The next day, Coco looks out the window. The rain doesn’t stop. She decides to to to living room to study. She invites Agott to go to the living room with her. Agott rejects it. She can focus her attention in the room. Coco runs out of the room. Agott manages to draw a magic. The magic is a little wobbly. But it’s more stable than before. She thinks she can accept the next test. She decides to draw it again. But she hears the commotion.
Agott is furious to walk out of her room. She asks the people what happened. The man asks Qifrey to help them. Qifrey comforts the man that they will go to prepare for it. Tetia tells Agott that the bridge was broken because of the rain. There was a carriage trapped in the middle of the river. Nobody could approach the carriage. Because it was too dangerous. The man yells. He says that his son is still in the carriage. Qifrey decides to set off immediately. Agott realizes that it’s her chance. She asks her master to take her. She’s confident that she will be very useful.
