Hui-Ju gets on her knees to her father Hyeon-Guk at home in Perfect Crown episode 10. He asks her if she wants to save her or I-An. She chooses the prince. Because she can save herself. She begs him. He asks her to divorce the guy. He thinks she shoulders all the charges on her own. Once I-An loses the weakness, the enemies will lose the target to attack. I-An will fight it back without any worry. But she wants to save herself. She mentions he allowed her to choose between the two.

Hyeon-Guk tells Hui-Ju that the choice will head for a divorce as well. He asks her to leave the terrible place. He asks her not to be hurt again. She cries.
Hui-Ju walks into I-An’s office. He smiles. He asks her if her father is fine. She runs into his arms so that he can hug her. He guesses it’s a present. But she wants to get a divorce. She thinks it’s time to say goodbye. She reveals her father is sick to lie in the bed because of the pressure. The stock price of the company plummeted, public approval has hit rock bottom as well.
She says that she got married to become an heir. But she cannot go home if she keeps doing so. He gets her point. She tells him that it’s not his fault. But she wants to cut her losses. He asks her if it’s the reason why she wants to get a divorce. She reminds him that someone should come out to take the duty. The problem won’t be solved even if they remain silent.
He guesses something happened when he wasn’t there. He asks her if his sister-in-law said something to her. She tells him that it’s not his business no matter what the woman said to her. It flashes back. In-An visits his brother Yi Hwan. He asks him to be nice to his wife. He mentions the woman can only rely on him. He thinks he should let her live so hard. But Yi Hwan doesn’t think the woman relied on him. He cannot do anything for her. He thinks she knows it very well that his statue is so. So she’s so as well. At present, Choi Hyeon tells Hye-Jung that the chairman didn’t ask Hui-Ju to do anything. She gets a call from I-An. She picks up the phone outside the room. She receives an order from I-An.
Hui-Ju and I-An arrive at the meeting room. Hui-Ju tells the people that she and I-An are going to get a divorce. She asks Sung-Won to cancel her class. She risked everything and got royal status. I-An becomes the new king. Sung-Won is shocked after knowing Yi Yoon voluntarily abdicated. He tries to go to visit Yi Yoon. But I-An stops the guy. He asks him if he doesn’t keep the Imperial Edict in his mind.
Hui-Ju stops I-An outside the meeting room. He mentions what she said that she wanted to stop the losses. It’s the reason why she wants to get a divorce. But she shouldn’t shoulder everything on her own. He asks her if she thought he couldn’t protect them. She doesn’t trust him.
In Yi-Rang’s palace, the maid Sun-Hwa reports to Yi-Rang that her son voluntarily abdicated. Yi-Rang wonders why her son did it suddenly. She’s furious to yell. He says that he’s tired. He doesn’t want to clean up the mess for the royal family. She reminds him that it will affect him as well.
If I-An becomes the king, Hui-Ju won’t leave palace forever. She asks him if it’s what he wants. He says that it won’t happen. He mentions I-An will reject the throne two times. He asks her to stop I-An or the King before I-An rejects it. He will stop looking into Hui-Ju. She points out that he promised her that he would do that. He tells her that she will get what she wants once he gets what he wants. She learns that he’s threatening her. He thinks he has no reason not to do that.
Hui-Ju is in her room. She remembers I-An thought she didn’t trust him. Hye-Jung shows up. She reports it to Hui-Ju that I-An didn’t come back. He left the palace. Hui-Ju thinks her husband shouldn’t leave at the time. She mentions he was almost dead. She doesn’t know what will happen after King abdicated.
Hui-Ju calls I-An when he’s driving on the road. He doesn’t pick up her phone. She wants to go to look for the guy. But Hye-Jung stops Hui-Ju. She reminds her that she cannot get a divorce if she does so. She and Choi Hyeon will go to look for I-An. She asks her to stay in the room. She doesn’t want Hui-Ju and I-An miss each other.
I-An drives on the bridge. He remembers he told Hui-Ju that everyone would blame him once he became a king. But he believed that she would understood him. She told him that he just needed to walk by her side. She would teach him.
In Hui-Ju’s room, Hui-Ju remembers I-An accompanied her when she was in anger. He told her that it was his first to love someone. He asked her to accept it. She tears up.
Hye-Jung runs into Choi Hyeon. She asks him to go to look for I-An with her. She reveals I-An left the palace. She knows where the guy went.

She confesses her feelings to him. She hugs him. He tells her that she makes him confused. Because she’s always indecisive. She denies it. She mentions he knows she likes him. She wants to get a divorce to protect him. So he gets angry. She kisses him. She asks him if he doesn’t want to get it. He wants it. He kisses her back.
The next day, Hui-Ju wakes up in the bed. She tells I-An that she’s a little scared. He asks her to stay in the house alone. Because the second Imperial Edict is going to be promulgated. It flashes back. Sung-Won tells Yi-Rang that she needs to be the crown princess. She runs into I-An at the school. At present, Yi-Rang tells I-An that she gave up her heart. She asks him why he doesn’t give up anything. She cries in his arms. He summons Sun-Hwa. He asks her not to let anyone get in the palace. In the evening, Sung-Won calls Yi-Rang.
