In the park, Clark Kent and Lois Lane look at the sky in My Adventures with Superman Season 3 episode 8. A brother and sister show up. Clark recognizes the brother. It’s Jon. But he doesn’t know who the sister is. She calls him and Lois father and mother. She says she’s Lara. Lois is surprised that she and Clark have a daughter. She’s excited after her son came back.
Jon says he’s Jonathan. He asks Lois what she means he’s back. He has never been here before in his life. She’s sad after her son didn’t recognize her. But she still tells him the truth that he was here a month ago. They saved his father. He’s confused. He asks Lara what the two are talking about. She doesn’t know as well. Clark says his son doesn’t remember him. Lois learns when they changed the future, they rewrote Jon’s entire life.
Lex Luthor works in the lab. Bizarro is on the screen of his computer. Slade Wilson mentions most people prepare for a Pentagon inspection when he takes a banana peel and throws it away. He cleans his hand with his suit. He touches Luthor’s wounded head. Luthor avoids it. It hurts. Wilson tells Luthor that it’s a rather severe look, even for him. He wants to know his little science project.
Luthor claims that it’s on a need-to-know-basis. So Wilson doesn’t have to know it. He continues to work. Wilson reminds Luthor that they’re partners. Luthor doesn’t think so. He tells Wilson that he works for him.
A woman shows up with two bodyguards after the door opened. She greets Luthor. He’s nervous to kick away his chair. He recognizes her. She’s Director Waller. She admits it to him that she’s back in charge. She’s very pleased with herself. Wilson tells Luthor that he works for Waller. He’s just an employee like him.
Clark and Lois take Jonathan and Lara home. Jonathan learns that they’ve already done this. Lois tells Lara that only she wasn’t here. But they’re so happy to meet her. Lara is surprised that she didn’t exist. Lois says not technically. Lara asks her mother was she like an accident? She has a good imagination.
Clark tells Jonathan that he saved him. But Jonathan refuses to take the credit. Lois tells her son that it was him. A version of him. And he coming back made everything better. He gets angry. If what she says is true, why is his future worse? Who says his future is worse? Another him is really all alone. He has at least a sister now.
Kara Zor-El carries Jimmy Olsen to fly in the sky. He says it’s a beautiful day. She says the weather is pleasant. He asks her where they’re now. She says the sky, over Metropolis. Headed to Smallville. He explains it to her what he means is where they are with each other. She doesn’t give him the answer. She flies toward the house. He screams when he enjoys the speed.
He lands. He asks her did he say something wrong there? She calls him Jimmy Flamebirdbird. She asks him what he wants. He says he’d wanna be a better friend. She gets his point. She asks him is that all he want? He says he just wanna be with her. He asks her what she expects. She says she wants to trust him. But she’s afraid he will leave her alone again. He tries to confess his feelings to her. But Clark opens the door. He laughs after knowing the two are there.
Jimmy and Kara love each other. But Jimmy thinks he doesn’t deserve her. Because she’s a supergirl, and he’s just an ordinary man. He cannot face his own feelings. Kara doesn’t know what he thinks. She mistakes he doesn’t like her. They need to have a seat and have a talk. So they will get together. But Clark ruins the chance that his sister gets her love.
Clark takes Jimmy and Kara into the house. He introduces Lara and Jonathan to them. He says the two come from the future. Kara is excited after she saw her nephew. But Lois stops Kara. She says he’s not that Jon. He’s new. Clark agrees with what his wife said. He whispers in Kara’s ear. He asks her not to provoke the boy. She understands it. She welcomes new Jon.
He says it’s Jonathan when he’s trying to look cool. Lara walks to her brother. She reminds him that they should get back on mission. He says cause that worked out so well for the last guy. Who’s the last guy? Is he better than new Jon? Lois asks the two about the mission. Lara says the mission General Lane gave them. Lois complains that her father cannot stop giving orders.
Jimmy doesn’t care for the mission. He’s glad to have Superboy back. Jonathan is on a roll. He doesn’t allow Jimmy to call him Superboy. He’s Superman. Jimmy points out that they already have a Superman. He points at Clark. Jonathan puts pressure on Clark. He asks him if he’s the Superman. Jimmy pulls them apart. He offers not to talk about Superman.
He takes out a Pa Kent’s world famous. He persuades Jonathan to take a slice. But Jonathan says he’s done with it. He flies out of the house.
Clark finds his new son in the yard. He tells him that he knows all of this must be strange for him. But if he needs to talk. He’s here to listen. Clark tries to be a good father. But he doesn’t realize that the son isn’t the one he knew.
Jonathan laughs. He asks Clark if he thinks they can just have a heart to heart. Maybe give him a motivational speech, promise him a better tomorrow? It makes me wonder who taught Jonathan in another dimension after I saw what he did to his father. How could he talk to his father like that?
Kara shows up. She worries about her brother. Jonathan holds a softball. He asks Clark if he thinks they’re just gonna play catch. He throws the softball toward the cornfield. The softball rolls through the cornfield. The corn is burned.
Jonathan shows his powers to his father. He tells him that he learned to use his powers on his own. He defended the Earth on his own. Because he wasn’t there. No one was there. Clark takes a look at Kara. Kara flees.
I understand why Jonathan hates his father. Because Clark’s missing in another dimension. Jonathan had to face all of the problems all his own. He was forced to grow up. He became a Superhero through his own efforts. But he wished his father would be there. If Clark was there, Jonathan could live like other kids. In a sense, Clark robbed Jonathan of his childhood.
Jonathan tells Clark that he’s not here for him this time. Stay out of his way. He flies away. Clark wants to stop his son. But he’s in hell. He stops it.
In the kitchen, Lara takes the biscuit. Lois persuades her daughter that she should eat it. She says Pa Kent, that man can bake. She tells her that she doesn’t have to worry about Jonathan and time loops. She gives a glass of milk to her. She asks her why she and her brother are there. Lara puts down the biscuit. She says their mission is confidential.
Lois says of course it is when she eats the biscuit. But Lara says General Lane sent them back in time to kill Lex Luthor. Lois is shocked to yell at Lara. You traveled back in time to commit murder? As a mother, she doesn’t want her children to be murderers. Lara says they’re here to protect the future. She thinks what they’re doing is right.
Lois asks her daughter what kind of future do they come from? It’s a terrible future in her mind. Lara says in their time Luthor commands a personal army of mind controlled Kryptonian clones. The Eradicators. Lois thinks there has to be another way to stop Luthor. Lara doesn’t have to kill Luthor just because her father told her to. Her father is General Lane. But Lara tells Lois that she told them to kill Luthor. She’s General Lane. Lois is shocked.
In the lab, Luthor introduces his project to Waller. He tells her that Lexcorp is paving the way to a safer, more secure Metropolis with. But she stops him. Wilson mocks Luthor after Luthor had a hard time. Luthor is surprised that Wilson is still here. Wilson persuades Luthor to show Waller his new project. Luthor says it’s still in its infancy, not ready for review. But Waller wants to see it.
He opens the glass tank. She sees a creature in the tank. The creature is Eradicator. He’s sleeping. Luthor introduces Project Eradicator to Waller. Once complete, the weapon will put humanity back on top as the world’s dominant species. Created from Superman’s own living tissue, Eradicator self-repairs, self-evolves, and will function under his complete direct mental control. The hardware isn’t finished, but once it is, the Luthor gray matter he put in Eradicator’s brain will let him control him with mine.
Luthor is bald because of it. Wilson asks Luthor if he put a piece of his brain inside the Eradicator. Waller came to confirm it. She asks Luthor to shut down the project. She tries to walk away. He thinks she doesn’t understand it. He persuades her that the Eradicator will revolutionize. But she tells him that he doesn’t understand it. She isn’t just shutting down Project Eradicator. She’s shutting down all of Lexcorp, effective immediately.
Luthor is a mad scientist. He’s smart and he focuses on Superman. He’s a threat to Clark. He uses Superman’s cell this time. He tries to build a lot of Supermen. Fortunately, his boss Waller doesn’t support his idea. She doesn’t want any aliens. What she wants is High-Tech weapons. She thinks the project is too crazy. If he makes it, she knows she cannot control him.
At Clark’s house, Clark and Lois lie on the couch. They sigh at the same time. Lois thinks she’s a horrible parent after knowing she told the kids to do such a thing. Clark says he’s a horrible parent as well. He says that his son is so poor. He has forgiven Jonathan. But Lois says she’s talking about Lara. She thinks she wasn’t a good mother. He points out that at least she was there. He complains that he somehow missed the kids’ lives two times in a row.
She says maybe that’s it. Maybe she’s the problem. She’s the reason Lara turned out this way. He asks her what’s wrong with Lara? She finds out that Lara isn’t at home.
In the lab, Luthor shows Waller the prototype time travel device. He says imagine what they could do once it’s complete. She will be able to go back to the past and stop her enemies before they even strike. But she says she has made her decision. He doesn’t give up. He persuades her that he has seen what’s out there. Superman’s not even the worse of it. There’re things waiting in space that.
But she says Superman put his life on the line when they needed him. She will take space aliens over him any day. He has not only failed to live up to Checkmate’s expectations, he doesn’t even look after his own. He turns around and he looks at Wilson. He realizes that he betrayed him.
Waller is particularly level-headed. She’s kind. She can tell Luthor breaks down because of the pressure of aliens. She’s not really a villain, although she’s quite the villain sometimes.
Lara shows up. The bodyguards try to shoot Lara. Waller stops them. She asks Lara who is she? Lara says she’s here for Luthor. She chases him. Luthor pushes Wilson forward. He wishes he will protect him. He pretends innocent. He says he’s just a scientist. But Lara tells him that he’s the end of the world. She rushes toward him. He releases Eradicator to protect himself.
Eradicator grabs Lara’s leg. He throws her on the floor. She looks at him. She’s scared. She shoots a laser at him. He dodges the laser. He transforms and he rushes toward her. She screams.
Kara, Clark, Lois and Jonathan are on the way to save Lara. Jonathan complains that Lara rushes headlong into things. She always tries to be mother’s perfect little soldier. Wilson runs out of the building. He welcomes the group. He says whole site’s locked down. He pulls out his two swords. He disallows anyone to get past him. Especially Kryptonians.
Lois asks the guy where is Lara? He figures it out that Lara is the super-powered teenager who tried to kill Luthor. He says they took the fight underground. Jonathan asks Wilson who’s they? The entire floor collapses. Wilson deftly flees.
Clark and Lois fall into water. Lois asks Clark if he’s fine. He says the sewage broke his fall. Lois isn’t simple. She doesn’t break her leg. Clark helps Lois up. He wonders if Lara is down here. Lois thinks Lara must be. The sooner they find her, the sooner they can get out of here.
Lois hears the sound. She takes Clark to walk toward the sound. They find Lara. Lois tells Lara that she thought there was a monster down here. Lara stops her mother. She says there’s a monster down here.
Kara and Jonathan look for Clark and Lois in the sewer. Jonathan offers to split up. They will find them faster that way. She tells him that it’s unwise. The lead in the facility is disrupting the. He says he doesn’t need her permission. He flies away.
Kara walks along the railroad tracks. She hears Jonathan’s cries for help. A subway heads toward her. She’s hit by the subway. The subway was controlled by Eradicator. He imitated Jonathan’s voice. Kara was fooled. Because she worried about her nephew.
Jonathan hears cries for help as well. He runs toward the voice. He sees nobody. Eradicator grabs Jonathan’s head. He pins him to the ground. Jonathan screams.
Lara hears her brother’s scream. She flies toward the voice. Clark and Lois chase Lara. Lara is missing. Eradicator shows up. He tries to slap Clark. But Lara rides on his back. She asks him where is her brother. She’s hit by his laser when she fights him.
Lois and Clark catch Lara. Lois asks Lara what is that thing. Lara says it’s an Eradicator. But this one is different. Eradicator tries to shoot a laser at the three. Jonathan hugs Eradicator from his back. He makes him fall on the floor. Lara goes to help Jonathan when he fights Eradicator. Lois worries that Lara will be hurt. But Jonathan asks Lara to get behind Eradicator. She hesitates. She doesn’t know who she should listen. Jonathan is hit by Bizarro. He passes out.
Lara goes to save Jonathan. Eradicator tries to take the chance to attack Lara from her back. But he’s hit by the subway. It’s Kara. She’s alive. She wipes off the blood off her mouth. She asks the monster to stay away from her family.
She grabs his head and flies through the ground. She stops when they’re in the sky. They fall on the ground. Bizarro is working at his store. He hears the sound. He walks out of his store.
Lara and Jonathan go to chase Kara and Eradicator. Lois thinks their children are so disrespectful. In the lab, Waller watches the fight. She asks Luthor to bring his monster to heel. But he says he cannot stop it. She mentions he and the monster share a brain. What happened to direct “mental control?” He says he already told her, the system is incomplete. It won’t respond to his commands. Eradicator’s in control.
Eradicator grabs Lara’s leg. He throws her on the building. She falls on the ground. Jonathan tries to go to save his sister. But he’s caught by Eradicator. Eradicator keeps stepping on Jonathan. He kicks him to Lara. Jonathan takes a look at his sister. She’s in a coma. He calls her. But Eradicator approaches him. He raises his fist.
Kara blocks Eradicator’s fist. She saves the brother and sister. She tells Eradicator that she’s his rival. Lois climbs in the cave. A rock falls toward her. She screams. Clark shoulders the rock with his hands.
Kara is at a disadvantage when she fights Eradicator. Jonathan says Eradicator is evolving too fast for them. They’ve lost. Just like other Jonathan. There’s nothing they can do. Kara hits the coward. She tells him that he’s not the only one who has seen a different world. She has seen other futures. They can still choose a better tomorrow.
Kara is so brave. She shows Jonathan what makes a good aunt. She asks him to stay here. Clark walks out of the cave. He finds out that his sister is fighting the monster alone. He takes off his glasses. He tries to go to help his sister. But Lois blocks her husband’s way. She thinks it’s a job for Superman.
Kara is hit by Eradicator to protect Jonathan. Jonathan carries Kara. He asks her why she did it. I cry after I saw the scene. Kara tells Jonathan that he’s her better tomorrow. She strokes his face. Clark runs toward Kara. But Superman blocks Clark’s way. Clark tells Superman that his family needs him. But Superman says they need him. Clark sees Fortress.
Jonathan puts down Kara. He thinks it’s enough. He tries to kill Eradicator. But Eradicator uses the prototype time travel device to flee. Jimmy tries to wake up Kara. Bizarro arrives. He asks Clark if he’s too late. Jimmy tells Clark that Kara isn’t waking up.
Lara walks to Jonathan. She asks him if he’s fine. He says he couldn’t stop it. Eradicator is loose in the time stream. Waller shows up. She wonders who is she arresting? She introduces herself to Lara. Lois explains it to Waller that the kids were just following orders. They were sent here from the future to stop Luthor from unleashing the monster. Luthor claims that he was defending himself from an assassination. The prototype was never meant to be active at the stage. It’s Lara’s fault.
Waller looks at the guy with disagreeing gaze. Luthor asks Wilson to tell the people. He knows he saw everything. He knows what he was trying to accomplish. What they were trying to do. But Wilson is cold to tell Luthor that he tried to tell him. Waller asks Wilson to arrest Luthor. They will sort out their guests later.
Lois asks Clark what are they gonna do? How are they gonna fix this? He says he knows where his powers are. He thinks he can get them back. She’s surprised that he can bring back Superman. He thinks so, but he has to leave for a little while. She goes against. She tells him that he cannot leave her alone with these kids. She will fail them. He reminds her that she’s not the person who sent them here. They need the real her. But she needs him. Their whole future is getting ripped away. First Jon and now. He hugs her to calm her down. He says he’s only going away for a while. They cannot save the kids. They cannot save the future without Superman. She asks him to promise her that he will come back. Clark and Bizarro go to the Fortress. The Steward shows up. He controls Bizarro to attack Clark from his back. Clark is beaten down. They’re surrounded by the Stewards.
