Outside Namgung Ho’s house, Namgung Ho tries to kiss Su-A in A Love Other Than Yours episode 13. But Mi-Do sees it. Tae-Seung takes away Su-A’s bag. Su-A has to follow him to a cafe. She asks him to return the bag to her. But he rejects it. She promises him that she won’t go back to visit Namgung Ho. He asks her to break up with Namgung Ho. After all, they won’t have a chance. She should know they cannot intervene.
Su-A asks Tae-Seung is he serious to Mi-Do? She thought he wasn’t being sincere at that time. She thought he was crazy.
It flashes back. Tae-Seung wants to form an alliance with Su-A. She likes Namgung Ho, and he likes Mi-Do. But they only have one month. He offers to form a strategic partnership. She holds his face. She tells him that it’s her mistake. She deserves all of this. She should take the blame. She was arrogant and despicable. She caused all of this. He did nothing wrong. She tears up. She says she grows up in the end. She offers to see it through to the end. A month is almost up.
In 2007, Mi-Do watches Namgung Ho run on the playground. She reads a book in the classroom. The girl shows up. She thinks Homeroom Teacher was crazy to let Namgung Ho run twenty laps. She figures Mi-Do was the one who scratched Homeroom Teacher’s car. Because he gave her zero points. Namgung Ho is really loyal.
Mi-Do wakes up at her desk. Namgung Ho is searching her schoolbag. He asks her for the episode 9. She ignores him. She takes away her schoolbag. He walks her in the hallway. She tells him that it was Homeroom Teacher’s mistake. He lost her homework, and he gave her zero points. She thinks he’s a fool. Because he raised his hand. She won’t thank him. She doesn’t understand why he ran twenty laps. She remembers Young-Do almost burned the barbecue restaurant. Namgung Ho went to clean for one month.
He signed Wan-Do up for swimming lessons. She persuades him not to live so hard. He will be treated as sucker by others. She doesn’t understand why he lives like that. He tells her that she should continue to pretend she doesn’t know it. She’s furious to yell at him. She says she will do it all her life. She swears she won’t be a good person like him.
At present, Mi-Do wakes up in her bed room. At Hunmin Confectionery, Su-A is punished. But she still needs to work at the company. Sang-Hoon puts a stack of papers on her desk. He tells her that those guys ask her to print it. She thinks it can be scanned. He asks her does she want to organize receipts. Team Three is going to be disbanded. He feels sorry. He can do nothing.

Mi-Do drinks with the guy at the bar. She doesn’t believe that the Production Company would let him spend four days to film the sunset. She admits that he’s very handsome. Tae-Seung asks the guy to be quiet. He reminds him that he doesn’t own the bar. He explains it to Mi-Do that he’s in a bad mood because his girlfriend stood up him. The guy apologizes to Tae-Seung. He mistakes that he was picking up him. He kept staring at him. He thinks he’s very handsome.
Mi-Do walks out of the restroom. Tae-Seung is waiting for her. He asks her not to put on a brave face. He knows Namgung Ho and Su-A made her feel upset. She’s not in the mood to celebrate with others. She says she’s not putting on a brave face.
Mi-Do reminds the guy Director Zhuo that he said he wouldn’t film movies when the production company asked him to give up. He would wear a rat mask and harshly criticize the film industry. She tells him that she wants to film the story. She knew the movie can be made. She knew he would make it. He’s moved after he heard her words. He grabs her hand. He tells her that she’s an outstanding runner. But she doesn’t reach the last two kilometers. This is why she has a hard time. He persuades her to hang in there. She cries. She hugs him.
Namgung Ho waits for Su-A at the company. He offers to buy her a dinner. He follows her. He persuades her that she should eat well at a time like this. He explains that he didn’t tell it to Mi-Do. She thinks she’s just like them if she compromises to the wrong things. She doesn’t want to end up like that. She rejected that kind of life. Young-Do beats Tae-Seung. He asks him who is he? He figures Mi-Do and the guy have an affair. Tae-Seung tells Young-Do that Namgung Ho has a new girlfriend as well.
At the KTV, Namgung Ho asks Wan-Do not to go to dive on his own. Wan-Do mistakes that Namgung Ho is angry at him. Namgung Ho says he’s just really heartbroken. Young-Do breaks into the KTV. He grabs Namgung Ho’s collar. He asks him to tell it to him that it’s not true. Namgung Ho tries to tell Wan-Do that it’s a misunderstanding. But Young-Do reveals Namgung Ho broke up with Mi-Do. Mi-Do is dating the lawyer. Namgung Ho is dating his junior at the company.
Young-Do thinks Namgung Ho should have held Mi-Do tight even if Mi-Do did it. He has no right to do it to her. Because Namgung Ho caused Young-Do’s father to die. Namgung Ho asks Young-Do isn’t it enough after he did all of this. He has tried his best to pay with his father’s life. He cleans the mess for his family. He feels guilty everyday. He pays his everything to pay with his father’s life. He lives as if he’s in hell. He hasn’t felt happiness since he survived that day.
Mi-Do shows up. She tells Young-Do that Father died because of her. That day, Father didn’t want to dive. But she kept throwing a tantrum. So Father went to save Namgung Ho. She apologizes to Namgung Ho. She’s a coward. She has hidden behind him.
Young-Do slaps himself. He worries that Namgung Ho won’t forgive him. He won’t see him again. He asks Tae-Seung why does he sit here with them? Does he want to be beaten? Tae-Seung says the injury is only minor at this point. He cannot sue Young-Do. He asks Young-Do to beat him. So he will come to his senses.
Outside, Namgung Ho reminds Mi-Do that her father named an exemplary firefighter three times. If she thinks he went to save him just because she begged him, it’s a tremendous disgrace to her father. The words he said to Young-Do are because he was mad. He said it without thinking about it. He admits that he feels guilty. Mi-Do hugs Namgung Ho. At present, Mi-Do tells Namgung Ho that he’s the person who knows the happiness after he pays. The people who don’t understand it will say he lacks self-esteem. They will say he wants to be loved. But it’s not true. He owns more love than anyone. Because he owns so much love. So it’s the moment of true happiness when he pays.
The next day at Queen Beauty Salon, the customer talks about Mi-Do and Namgung Ho’s marriage when Suk-Hee is working. Namgung Ho shows up when Suk-Hee is playing the claw machine. He offers to sell the dolls and eat something good.
