In Fall Hero Valley, everyone comes to see the girl off. The girl tells those guys that she doesn’t want to leave them in Generation to Generation episode 1. The girl is Cai Zhao. Although she’s going to set off on a long journey, her heart will be always with her aunts and uncles. She asks those guys to run the businesses well. So the Martial Arts People will leave with happiness. Scholar tells Zhao Zhao that they don’t want her to leave as well. But the rules of the North Chen Six Sects is so. But she doesn’t want to give up. She decides not to go to Blue Que Sect.
Scholar stops Cai Zhao from returning home. He persuades her that it’s very important to learn skills. He and another guy try to carry her out of the valley. But the girl rejects to leave. The madam of the valley Ning Xiaofeng ties Cai Zhao up with a rope. Her husband Cai Pingchun is with her. She asks Cai Zhao to set off. She swings her into a carriage. The carriage leaves the valley.
In the carriage, Cai Pingchun persuades Cai Zhao not to be unhappy. He reminds her that it’s the tradition that they haven done two hundred years. Cai Zhao begs her mother that she doesn’t get used to it that she eats and sleeps outside. She likes to stay at home. But Ning Xiaofeng tells Cai Zhao that she cannot convince her. She thinks she will bring big trouble to her if she lets her do what she wants. Cai Zhao claims that she’s a lady who didn’t go out. She doesn’t know anyone in Martial Arts World. She thinks she won’t get into trouble. Ning Xiaofeng reminds Cai Zhao that studying at Blue Que Sect is the last wish of her aunt.
Cai Pingshu trained Cai Zhao in the yard. But Cai Zhao didn’t want to practice. Cai Pingshu told Cai Zhao that she shouldn’t lose the power to protect herself.
The carriage stops by the lake. Cai Pingchun receives a letter from Chang Family. Five hours ago, the killers break into Chang family to slaughter. Chang Ning and his father Chang Haosheng resist. Cai Pingchun, Ning Xiaofeng and Cai Zhao arrive at Chang family. Chang Haosheng is dead. Cai Pingchun and Ning Xiaofeng run to Chang Haosheng. But Chang Ning cuts the two with his sword because he’s not calm. Cai Zhao ties Chang Ning’s hand with her chain. He tries to attack her. But he’s stunned by Qi Yunke.
In the evening, Cai Zhao dresses Chang Ning’s wound in the forest. Ning Xiaofeng asks her daughter to be lighter. Cai Pingchun tells Qi Yunke that the kid had watched Chang Haosheng for one night. He thinks they’re late. Qi Yunke shows Cai Pingchun the letter. Chang Haosheng asks them to take care of his only son Chang Ning. Chang Ning wakes up. He sees the beauty Cai Zhao.
The guy Li Wenxun shows up. He reports it to Qi Yunke and Cai Pingchun that there were twenty bodies. He doesn’t know those guys’ identities, according to their weapons and clothes. But they’re professional killers, according to their palm scars.
Cai Pingchun hands over the torch to Chang Ning. Chang Ning burns his father. Chang Ning remembers his father was stabbed for protecting him. He bows down to him. He passes out. Ning Xiaofeng reveals the kid was poisoned. The antidote of Fall Hero Valley doesn’t work because the poison has gotten into the kid’s lung. Qi Kunke claims that he has medicine. He decides to take the kid to Blue Que Sect.
The next day, Cai Han wonders if they need to take revenge for Uncle Chang. Cai Pingchun thinks they should do it. But it’s the business of the elders. Cai Zhao tells Cai Han that Uncle Chang is like their aunt. He was a good person. But his family was killed. She thinks nobody remembers what Uncle Chang did. The world is full of faithless people. She decides not to join the Martial Arts world since it’s so heartless. But Ning Xiaofeng asks Cai Zhao to take a look at the generation of the Martial Arts world. Cai Pingchun agrees with what his wife said.
Cai Zhao pays her respect to Uncle Chang. Cai Han wonders if Brother Chang can be healed. Cai Zhao tells Cai Han that they need to heal Chang Ning because Uncle Chang had grace to them.
One month later, Cai Zhao and her family arrive Blue Que Sect. Cai Pingchun tells the two kids that there’re many traps on the cliff. He fires a signal flare. The guard on the cliff helps them. They reaches the cliff after they were pulled by the chains.
On the bridge, Cai Zhao sees a shadow butterfly. She chases the butterfly. At the training ground, Qi Lingbo wants to get the blood from Chang Ning because he ate her snow lotus. She decides to forgive him after her brother persuaded her. But she asks him to kowtow to her 18 times. He brings up that his father and Cai Pingshu saved her mother when her mother was bullied by the bad guy 18 years ago. 17 years ago, his father sneaked into demon sect. He saved everyone. 15 years ago, Chief Qi wanted to take revenge for Chief Yin. His father saved Chief Qi as well. He didn’t say it. It doesn’t mean that the people of Blue Que Sect can forget it. He thinks she should kowtow to him 18 times. She’s furious to ask him to get on his knees to her. The bodyguards try to make Chang Ning to get on his knees. But they’re not the guy’s rivals.
Dai Fengchi beats Chang Ning. Chang Ning falls to Cai Zhao. She sees him. She finds out that he recovers. She wonders why he’s so weak. Qi Lingbo asks Cai Zhao and Yang Xiaolan who she is. Yang Xiaolan tells Qi Lingbo that they came to study. Cai Zhao brings up what Uncle Qi said that Qi Lingbo is pretty. Qi Lingbo hears it from her father that Cai Zhao is very sensible. She offers to let Dai Fengchi take Cai Zhao to Disciple Yard.
Chang Ning stops Cai Zhao from leaving. He thinks she’s not like some sect who didn’t save him. Qi Lingbo scolds Chang Ning. She brings up that her father took him to Blue Que Sect to be healed. Dai Fengchi orders his men to take Chang Ning to return to his house. Chang Ning realizes that those guys don’t have shoulder the reputation of betrayal as long as he dies. Dai Fengchi pulls out his sword. He threatens to kill Chang Ning if Chang Ning continues to talk nonsense. But Chang Ning asks Dai Fengchi to kill him. Dai Fengchi is startled. Chang Ning mentions Dai Fengchi was raised by Chief Qi as well. He thinks he became a bootlicker. Dai Fengchi tries to kill Chang Ning. But Cai Zhao stops him. She mentions what Uncle Qi said that the brothers of Blue Que Sect are very affectionate. They’re like a family. She thinks they would have fights since they’re a family.
Cai Zhao tells Chang Ning that her father is looking for him. She tries to take him away. But Qi Lingbo stops them. She persuades Cai Zhao not to meddle in it. She thinks they cannot learn martial arts together if the sistership is broken. But Cai Zhao claims that she doesn’t like to practice martial arts.
Chang Ning thinks Qi Lingbo is heartless. She tries to slap him. But she’s stopped by Song Yuzhi. He reminds her that she promised the master that she won’t bully Chang Ning. Zeng Dalou informs Qi Lingbo that her mother summoned her. Qi Lingbo leaves.
In Dusk Palace, Cai Zhao reports it to Qi Yunke that she ran into Qi Lingbo fighting Chang Ning. Chang Ning shows up. Qi Yunke realizes that Qi Lingbo bullied Chang Ning again. Qi Lingbo denies it. She claims that she just practiced with Chang Ning. Qi Yunke tries to scold his daughter. But his wife Yin Sulian takes Qi Lingbo’s side. She thinks the disciples bullied Chang Ning. Chang Ning agrees with what Yin Sulian said. He reveals Qi Lingbo invited the brothers to accompany him. Cai Zhao is surprised that Chang Ning swallowed his anger.
The chief of Broad Heaven Gate Song Shijun thinks it’s not a big deal that the young people fought. He thinks they did the same thing before. But Ning Xiaofeng disagrees. They wouldn’t spoil the disciples. She reminds those guys that the kid is the only child of Brother Chang. She blames Blue Que Sect for treating Chang Ning in such a way. Yin Sulian claims that her husband consumed internal energy to heal Chang Ning. Song Shijun offers to find a chance to admonish the disciples. He reminds Qi Yunke that they summoned Chang Ning for talking about the case of Chang family.
Chang Ning pays his respect to Ning Xiaofeng and Cai Pingjun. He thanks the two for collecting the remains for his father. He asks Cai Pingjun if he has any clue of the murderers. Cai Pingjun reveals the murderers were looking for something. Song Shijun mentions there were many treasures in Chang family. He thinks the murderers would covet it. But Ning Xiaofeng thinks the murderers weren’t interested in the treasures. She figures it out that demon sect did it. Song Shijun remembers Chang Haosheng and Cai Pingshu sneaked into Demon Sect many times. He thinks there’s a Demon Sect treasure in Chang family. He asks Chang Ning if his father mentioned the Martial Arts Manual of Demon Sect. Chang Ning learns that what Song Shijun means is that Chang family made a mistake first. Qi Yunke comforts Chang Ning that he will help him find the murder.
Song Yuzhi takes Cai Zhao to the residence where Qi Yunke arranged. She sees the fifth brother Fan Xingjia. He asks her if she satisfied with the Spring Age Little Cottage. She looks around. She figures it out that the cottage cost quite a bit of silver.
The three walk into the mansion. Fan Xingjia complains it to Cai Zhao that her house is better than their houses. He tells her that their master favors her. She learns that the master did a lot for keeping her. The maid calls Cai Zhao. She wonders where she puts the luggage. Song Yuzhi tries to take the luggage for Song Zhao. But he sees the love novels. She tells him that her brother liked the novels very much.
Qi Yunke summons the disciples to the hall. He asks them to train. He disallows them to eat afternoon. Cai Zhao is hungry. At the training ground, the disciples are training. Qi Lingbo casts the knife to Cai Zhao. Cai Zhao catches the knife. She thanks Qi Lingbo for giving the present to her. Qi Lingbo complains it to Cai Zhao that she said that she doesn’t like to practice martial arts. Cai Zhao points out that it doesn’t mean that she cannot use martial arts. She thinks she should own some skills to protect herself. She mentions she will be in big trouble if she loses Blue Que Sect’s face.
Song Yuzhi praises Cai Zhao for her martial arts. Qi Lingbo reports to Song Yuzhi that Cai Zhao bullied her. Song Yuzhi wants to challenge Cai Zhao. She mentions he and Qi Lingbo were engaged. She claims that she won’t fight the guy who has fiancee. She notices that Chang Ning is missing.
Chang Ning is in a pool. He remembers his father was killed. He vomits blood. Cai Zhao meditates by the pond. She remembers she told her mother that Chang Ning isn’t Uncle Chang’s son because the guy is deeply thoughtful. Ning Xiaofeng revealed Chang Ning’s mother lost her mind when she was pregnant. So Chang Ning was weak after he was born.
Cai Zhao tells Cai Han that she cannot see Chang Ning clearly. He mentions what his father said that the guy is the real Chang Ning. She pokes his forehead. She wonders how he knows Uncle Chang since he didn’t see the uncle. He says that he knows it. He mentions what his parents said that Uncle Chang carried Aunt home after the fight of Mountain Tu. Uncle Chang watched the gate of Fall Hero Valley when demons attacked Fall Hero Valley.
Cai Zhao thinks it’s reasonable that Chang Ning has an eccentric personality after he suffered a terrible tragedy. But he tried his best to get her involved. It’s weird.
Cai Zhao waits for Chang Ning with the ointment outside his house. She tells him that her mother asked her to deliver the ointment to him. She volunteers the apply the ointment for him. She applies the ointment for him in the room. She notices the fine fleece. She wonders why he used it since he has asthma. He explains it to her that his father healed his asthma when he was ten years old. She tests him how her aunt called his father. He answers it right. She wonders why he was meticulous in his thinking since he never stepped into Martial Arts World before. He thinks she would know why he did so if her father died for saving her. Someone drugs them outside. They pass out.
