Hong Ye Doesn’t Want to Ruin the Perfect Image in Huai Zhu’s Heart
The image Hong Ye creates is too perfect. It makes the cold goddess Huai Zhu fall for him in Love In Pavilion episode 1. She has no shortage of suitors. There’re many young masters wishing to marry her. But she only has him in her eyes. She and her sister Dongfang Qinlan visit the town. They find a hotel and they plan to take a break. But they encounter the spider girl.
Huai Zhu is powerful. She has to surrender when the zombie threatens her with her sister’s life. The spider girl stuns Huai Zhu and she intends to take her life. Hong Ye shows up just in time. Huai Zhu doesn’t really like him in the beginning even if he saved her. Because his mask is too ugly. She doesn’t want to face him so she asks him to turn around.
But she’s shocked after he breaks the poison barrier with his sword. There was nobody doing it before. She has a reason to believe that he’s the sword immortal. He uses her hair to defeat the monster lord Bai Mu. He explains why Bai Mu was defeated. It proves that he’s very knowledgeable.
Hong Ye convinces Bai Mu. The monster lord is going to give his core to Hong Ye. But Poison King’s appearing ruins Hong Ye’s plan. Hong Ye has to deal with Poison King with Huai Zhu. Poison King is the big monster who has been practicing for 3,000 years. He’s invincible. But Hong Ye defeats Poison King and he gets the monster core from Bai Mu. He is a bid hero and he can do anything in Huai Zhu’s mind.
Hong Ye Worries Huai Zhu Will Be Disappointed
The masked man and Hong Ye are the same person. But they’re different in Huai Zhu’s mind. Masked Man is a hero who can do anything for her. He cares for her and he saves the weak people. He’s an angel. But what Hong Ye shows to Huai Zhu that he’s the man who’s scheming. He does whatever it takes for achieving his goal. He’s the king who manipulates everyone.
Yes, he saves A Nan in the end in episode 4. But he stops Huai Zhu when she tries to destroy the sword furnace. Because he doesn’t want her to ruin his plan. It makes the kid in anger. The kid would die if Yang Yitan and Wangquan Zui didn’t appear. Fortunately, the kid is fine and she’s sent to a safe place.
Huai Zhu knows what kind of person Hong Ye is through the sword furnace case. She agrees to heal him. But she feeds him a poison pill. He will die because of the poison pill if he doesn’t keep his promise. It indicates that she doesn’t trust him at all.
He doesn’t hesitate to eat the pill. He tells her that he trusts her. But she doesn’t change her mind. She helps him deal with Nangong Ye when the guy tries to challenge him. She witnesses Nangong Ye passing away because of the evil sword. She realizes that Hong Ye did something after she left the sword furnace room. So she teases him that he was decisive when he tries to make a pass at her.
