Heavenly Empress remembers she gave birth in Love Never Fails Chinese Drama Episode 8. Heavenly Emperor was happy to tell her that she gave birth to two children. She suspected it and she went to the shrine to look into Jin Xiu. She learned that Jin Xiu is a fair’s child.
Heavenly Empress tried to know more information about Jin Xiu. But Heavenly Emperor stopped her. She asked him who’s Jin Xiu’s mother. But he wished her to guard Heaven Rules. She promised it and she was furious to leave.
Hong Ning arrives in Baizhou Mountain. She prays for Jin Xiu. She finds Lemon and Jiao Bo soon. She plans to go to see White Camellia. But her friends persuade her not to visit the guy. Jin Xiu visits Heavenly Emperor. His father asks him not to make mistakes again. The bodyguard reports to Heavenly Emperor that some people went missing after they passed by White Camellia’s place. He thinks White Camellia wants to take revenge.
Hong Ning finds White Camellia. She mentions some people went missing at his place. He denies it and he goes to see Daffodil. He asks her not to hurt Hong Ning. But she’s angry to reject it. Because she wants to let each girl suffer like her.
Hong Ning works out in the morning. She believes that Jin Xiu will give her power. Jin Xiu looks at Junying Grass in his room. He misses his girl. He vomits blood. Heavenly Emperor finds out that he cannot control Jin Xiu’s power. He thinks he needs to do something.
Hong Ning organizes the Lantern Festival. She tells the monsters stories. But White Camellia only wishes to spend the holidays with her. Lu Yao visits Jin Xiu. She wants to know his relationship with Hong Ning. But Kun Lun interrupts her. Plum shows up. She tells the three that Heavenly Emperor summoned them.
The three go to see Heavenly Emperor. Jin Xiu asks Heavenly Emperor to let Kun Lun and Lu Yao organize the banquet. Kun Lun and Lu Yao have a fight because they cannot convince each other. Hong Ning writes invitations for Jiao Bo. She wishes Jin Xiu to come to Lantern Festival. She asks the paper bird to send the invitation to Jin Xiu.
Kun Lun drinks the wine. But he finds out that the wine is honey. The maid reveals Lu Yao asked her to do that. Because the banquet is very important. Jin Xiu receives the invitation from the paper bird. The bodyguard informs him that Heavenly Emperor asked him to resolve the monster case. Jin Xiu decides to go to Baizhou Mountain.
Hong Ning goes to see White Camellia. But she sees a dead girl. Daffodil is happy to tell Hong Ning that she will be her soon. Jin Xiu arrives in Baizhou Mountain. He realizes that it’s an illusion. He worries about Hong Ning. He goes to see Daffodil. He asks her to release the people. But she tells him to get into her illusion.
Hong Ning wakes up at Duan Mansion. She’s Daffodil now. The worker tries to get rid of her. But the young master Duan Fei stops him. He walks to Daffodil and he smiles at her. He takes her home and he places her on the table. He waters her.
The servant reports to Duan Fei that Chu family came to make a proposal. Duan Fei tells the servant to reject it. He finds out that the flower moves. He thinks it’s good that there’s a monster accompanying him. Daffodil appears. She goes to look for some water. But Duan Fei stops her.
She learns that he pretended to sleep. She claims that she’s a fairy. She wants to live at his house for recovering. He agrees to it. But he asks her to sign the contract. He threatens her that she will die if she doesn’t sign.
He forces her to sign the contract. He asks her to serve him. Because he wants her to miss him everyday. She agrees to it and she tells him stories. Kun Lun goes to see Jin Xiu. But Jin Xiu isn’t in the palace. Kun Lun walks into the palace.

The maid reports to him that Lu Yao asked for seeing Jin Xiu. Kun Lun lets Lu Yao in. He pretends to be Jin Xiu. But Lu Yao plays him. She blames him for being lazy. But he claims that it’s his brother’s palace. He thinks she treats herself as Jin Xiu’s wife. She claims that it’s not his business. She mentions he saved a monster.
