Tae-Hyeong is sick in Our Universe episode 6. Hyun-Jin takes care of him in the apartment. He catches the chance to confess his feelings to her. Someone visits. Hyun-Jin goes to open the door. The person is Du-Sik. He gives some foods to Hyun-Jin. He walks into the house. He tries to check if Woo-Joo sleeps. Tae-Hyeong wonders if Du-Sik can see Woo-Joo. Because Du-Sik wears sunglasses. Du-Sik heard it from Ji-Hyun and Jae-Min that Tae-Hyeong and Hyun-Jin are in-laws. He notices that Tae-Hyeong and Hyun-Jin are very unnatural. He asks the two if something happened. Hyun-Jin denies it. She takes Du-Sik out of the house. Tae-Hyeong sees his slovenly appearance in the mirror. He learns that he just confessed with the look.
Tae-Hyeong takes a shower. He walks out of the bathroom. He sees Hyun-Jin sleeping with Woo-Joo on the floor. He wonders why she doesn’t sleep in the bed. He draws the curtains. He puts the cover on her. He watches her good looking face. He remembers she thought he should have let her leave since he’s so seriously ill. He pointed out that he couldn’t stop her. She claimed that she won’t go anywhere. Tae-Hyeong thanks Hyun-Jin for coming back yesterday.
Tae-Hyeong walks out of his room. He sees Hyun-Jin cooking in the kitchen. He asks her why she got up so early. It makes her cough. He worries that she burned her tongue when he hands over the water to her. She drinks up the water. She tells him that she’s fine. She needs to go to prepare. Because it’s almost time to go to work. He guesses she didn’t sleep too long. She claims that she took a quick nap when his fever had broken.
Hyun-Jin runs out of the building. She remembers Tae-Hyeong told her that he likes her. Her heart pounds. She gets a call from New Star Kindergarten. She’s told that Woo-Joo can go to the kindergarten. She’s very happy. She tries to tell the good news to Tae-Hyeong. But she realizes that she shouldn’t call him at this time.
In the house, Woo-Joo wants to eat Tae-Hyeong’s porridge. But Tae-Hyeong refuses to give the porridge to Woo-Joo. Because the porridge was cooked by Hyun-Jin. He notices that the girl didn’t have breakfast because of him. He learns that he made her feel uneasy. He receives a message from her. She asks him to take Woo-Joo to the kindergarten.
Tae-Hyeong helps Woo-Joo get dressed. He takes him to the kindergarten. The teacher welcomes Woo-Joo. She mistakes Tae-Hyeong for Woo-Joo’s father. Tae-Hyeong claims that he’s just the kid’s uncle. She lets him leave his number so that she can contact him. Woo-Joo gets into the classroom. The teacher asks Tae-Hyeong to tell the kid that he will come back to pick him up. So the kid will trust Tae-Hyeong more. Tae-Hyeong sees Woo-Joo having fun with other kids in the classroom. He remembers he waited for someone in the cold rainy night. He realizes that he shouldn’t let Woo-Joo wait. Woo-Joo holds Tae-Hyeong’s hand. Tae-Hyeong tells Woo-Joo that he needs to go to earn money, and his aunt will come to pick him up. Woo-Joo gives Tae-Hyeong a hug. Tae-Hyeong walks out of the kindergarten. He feels quite down. He texts Hyun-Jin. He reports it to her that he has completed the task. He tries to send one of Woo-Joo’s photos to her. But he sends his handsome photo.
At BS Food, Hyun-Jin receives the photo. She wonders what the guy is doing. Se-Yeon sees the photo. She’s surprised that Hyun-Jin and Tae-Hyeong sent selfie to each other. Hyun-Jin tells Se-Yeon that Tae-Hyeong confessed his feelings to her. She thinks the guy talked nonsense because of the medicine and drowsiness. Se-Yeon asks Hyun-Jin what she thinks in her heart. She mentions the average person would burn love flame with her first love. She wonders if her first love is Yoon-Seong. Hyun-Jin admits that Yoon-Seong is her first love. Se-Yeon can tell that the guy still has feelings for Hyun-Jin. But Hyun-Jin isn’t sure. Because Yoon-Seong was nice to everyone.
Se-Yeon asks Hyun-Jin if she has a special affection for Tae-Hyeong. Hyun-Jin says that she was moved because he always shows up at unexpected times. She keeps relying on him. He’s more sentimental than others. He was hurt a lot ever. She can tell that he’s lonely after knowing those things. She thinks they’re like each other. Se-Yeon persuades Hyun-Jin to accept the guy’s confession since she cares for him so much. But Hyun-Jin rejects it. Because she never treats Tae-Hyeong as a man. Se-Yeon thinks Hyun-Jin can do it from now on. She thinks it’s not reasonable that she doesn’t have feelings for the man since they lived together. She guesses she has Yoon-Seong in her heart. Hyun-Jin claims that she only has Woo-Joo and her job in her heart. She doesn’t want to think about other things.
Hyun-Jin and Yoon-Seong go to the Industrial Technology Center. They have a meeting with the people at the place. He takes her to a cafe. He hands over the drink to her. He tells her that it’s her exclusive recipe. She’s surprised that he still remembers it. He reveals Strawberry Latte is the Seasonal Limited-Time drink of the cafe. So he would miss her when he passed by the cafe. He wondered if she drank it when someone ordered the drink. She learns the reason why he’s so popular. He reveals he didn’t get any girlfriend after he graduated. She doesn’t believe it. She brings up that he’s handsome and tall. He laughs. He wishes she will continue. She complains it to him that she talked nonsense because he kept teasing her. He asks her about her nephew. She reveals Woo-Joo went to the kindergarten. He thinks the kid grows up. She complains it to him that she doesn’t want to do with out the in-law. He figures it out that she won’t live with the guy in the future. She admits it. She tells him that she and Tae-Hyeong agreed to only live together for one month. He feels relieved. He confesses it to her that he minded it that she lives with another man.
At Film Pluto, Moo-Saeng tells Tae-Hyeong that Amy Choo doesn’t want to be disturbed when she has inspiration. It means that she’s incubating an important idea if she doesn’t reply. He asks him to provide Amy Choo with nutritional supplements. Tae-Hyeong stops Moo-Saeng. He points out that he came to be an assistant. He wonders if he needs to do those things. He can make it. He thinks he cannot reject. He won’t flee after he gets the reputation from Amy Choo. The job is the last challenge to him. Moo-Saeng wonders if Tae-Hyeong read the proposals Amy Choo gave to him. Tae-Hyeong is reading it. He promises Moo-Saeng that he will organize it within today. Moo-Saeng is very satisfied with Tae-Hyeong’s attitude. He leaves because Amy Choo needs to drink coffee. Tae-Hyeong takes photos of the two models in the studio. Moo-Saeng likes the guy’s style.
Hyun-Jin and Woo-Joo are at home. He wants to go to the kindergarten tomorrow. He runs away. She chases him. She wonders where he’s going. Tae-Hyeong returns home. He learns that Woo-Joo came back as well. Hyun-Jin reveals she went to pick up Woo-Joo after she was off duty. She took care of everything. He praises her. She goes to the bathroom.
Tae-Hyeong returns to his room. He thinks he should handle the aftermath. He gets a call from the general contractor. The general contractor informs Tae-Hyeong that his house has been completed. He thinks he can move into the house after he confirms it.
Tae-Hyeong helps Hyun-Jin fold the clothes. He tells her that he was sincere. He won’t ask her any question. He only wants to let her know how he feels. He doesn’t require her to answer him immediately. He won’t put pressure on her. She mistook that he did it because of the medicine and sleepiness. He asks her to take it easy like before. He hints at her that Woo-Joo noticed the weird atmosphere. She grabs her bag from the kid. She finds out that he ruined it. Someone tries to get into the house. But he hears Woo-Joo’s crying. He flees.
The next day, Hyun-Jin is going to go out. Tae-Hyeong feeds her a loaf of bread. She sees the police outside the building. She’s surprised. Tae-Hyeong takes Woo-Joo to the kindergarten. He says goodbye to him. Tae-Hyeong comes home. He learns that there was a pervert thief who focused on single women living alone. He reports it to Hyun-Jin. He asks her to come home early. Hyun-Jin is having lunch with Se-Yeon at a restaurant. Se-Yeon notices that Hyun-Jin is texting her in-law. She guesses something happened to the two. But Hyun-Jin denies it.
Tae-Hyeong goes to his new home. The house is perfect. But he asks the general contractor to improve the house. Hyun-Jin misses her stop because she fell asleep on the bus. Tae-Hyeong waits for her at the bus stop. He calls her. He wants to come to pick her up. But she rejects it.
Hyun-Jin walks alone in the alley in the evening. She remembers Tae-Hyeong told her that the thief focused on girls. The streetlights go dark suddenly. She sees someone walking to her. She tries to flee. Tae-Hyeong saves her. She feels relieved. The two are on the way home. He suggests that she should call her if the sort of thing happens again. He asks her not to shoulder it on her own. She promises him. He tells her a lie that the water pipe burst again in his house. So he needs to continue to live with her. She agrees. He gives the pepper spray to her. He asks her to keep it until the culprit is arrested. She thinks he’s very attentive. He claims that he’s only attentive to his own people. But she doesn’t know how to use the pepper spray. He tries to teach her to use it. But he hurts his eyes.
In the bathroom, Hyun-Jin washes Tae-Hyeong’s eyes. She lets him open his eyes. He looks at her eyes. She tries to go to check the side effects of the pepper spray. But she slips. He catches her. Her heart pounds. She thanks him. She walks out of the bathroom. She thinks the pepper spray is a hazardous material.
The next day, Tae-Hyeong and Amy Choo visit BS Food as the top team. Amy Choo recognizes Hyun-Jin. Yoon-Seong’s team and Amy Choo’s team have a meeting in the meeting room. Yoon-Seong offers to have a gathering after the meeting. Amy Choo rejects the gathering. But Moo-Saeng is interested in it.
Gyu-Jung targets Tae-Hyeong in the elevator. He thinks he saw him somewhere. But he cannot remember it. Tae-Hyeong remembers he made Hyun-Jin be a lobby girl at the company. Gyu-Jung recognizes Tae-Hyeong in the end after the elevator reached the first floor.

The people go to a bowling alley. Tae-Hyeong and Hyun-Jin clear up the misunderstanding that they’re just in-laws. Tae-Hyeong and Yoon-Seong play bowling together. Tae-Hyeong wins. He gives Hyun-Jin a hug in front of Yoon-Seong. The people walk out of the bowling alley. Moo-Saeng informs Tae-Hyeong that they need to return to the studio. They take a cab. Hyun-Jin takes Yoon-Seong’s car.
In the cab, Moo-Saeng tells Tae-Hyeong that timing is crucial. Tae-Hyeong knows Moo-Saeng loves Amy Choo because the two kept fighting. Yoon-Seong drives to the bridge. Hyun-Jin feels better after she caught a chill. She and Yoon-Seong watch the fireworks together. She tells him that she rejected him because she was very poor.
Yoon-Seong drives Hyun-Jin home. Hyun-Jin calls Tae-Hyeong. She reports it to him that she returned home. But she finds out that the door is open. She gets into the house. She sees someone. She screams.
