At Ji-Yoon’s house, Ji-Yoon puts the wine on the table in See You at Work Tomorrow episode 2. She and Si-Woo try to take the wine. But their hands touch. He kisses her when they lie on the couch. He asks her if she flirted like that.
She Is Determined to Quit Her Job, But She Still Has to Go to Work
Ji-Yoon wakes up from the sweet dream. She thinks she’s crazy. She gets out of bed. She runs to the couch. She sits on the couch. She sees the snack on the table. She doesn’t believe she did it.
It flashes back. Si-Woo saves Ji-Yoon so that she doesn’t fall on the ground. She learns that his house isn’t far away. She feels relieved. She says goodbye to him.
At present, Ji-Yoon falls on the couch. She praises herself. She complains that she was almost related to her boss. But she remembers her button dropped when the guy caught her. She checks her pants. She thinks it’s not good.
Si-Woo is at home. He remembers he asked Ji-Yoon out. But she walked away. He guesses she rejected him. He runs into her at a convenience store. He notices that she bought a lot of snacks. She tries to share the snacks with him. But he walks out of the convenience store. He paid but he didn’t take away the drink. The salesgirl guesses Ji-Yoon knows Si-Woo. She hands over the drink to her.
Ji-Yoon walks out of the store with the drink. She runs into a little girl and her mother. The little girl tells her mother that Ji-Yoon wears the pants that are larger than her father’s. Ji-Yoon tells the little girl that it’s the Silk Shorts that she bought in Thailand.
She finds Si-Woo. She notices that he’s laughing. She’s surprised that the Three No Man is mocking her. She’s furious to run away. She wants to resign.
Ji-Yoon returns home. She puts Si-Woo’s drink into the fridge. She guesses the guy will come to the company even if he was fired. She wonders if she needs to greet him when she gives the drink to him.
At the company, No-Ah calls her boyfriend. But he doesn’t pick up her phone. Ji-Yoon thinks No-Ah’s boyfriend has been quiet recently. She mentions the guy called No-Ah like a clock at lunchtime. No-Ah explains it to Ji-Yoon that the guy would be like that when he was busy conducting experiments. Ji-Yoon hates experiments. Her smile is frozen when she sees Si-Woo. She avoids him.
In the cafeteria, Ji-Yoon has lunch with No-Ah. Kee-Tae joins them. No-Ah asks the guy why he eats with the people of another team. Ji-Yoon reveals the guy would search latest news when he ate. No-Ah laughs. She asks Kee-Tae if he has any new messages. He says that they were shocked after Si-Woo became their team leader. He tells the two girls that Si-Woo is a workaholic. He wonders if he found a house. Nobody saw Si-Woo leaving the office. The company is his home.
Ji-Yoon thinks Si-Woo is different from Manager Ko. The guy was never in his seat. Kee-Tae remembers the story of Si-Woo and Manager Ko. He heard it from the secretary office. Si-Woo was in Development Team. He joined Planning Team, and he worked for Manager Ko. He reported him for accepting bribes for the position. No-Ah learns the reason why Manager Ko hates Si-Woo so much. She thinks Si-Woo is a Grim Reaper. Kee-Tae admits that Si-Woo is like a cunning fox.
Si-Woo walks to Ji-Yoon. He asks her if he can sit with them. Kee-Tae prepares a seat for Si-Woo. Si-Woo sits with Ji-Yoon. He notices the Instant Coffee she’s going to drink. He persuades her not to drink it. It’s not good for her health. Kee-Tae notices that Si-Woo doesn’t eat rice. Si-Woo claims that he doesn’t want to get a little belly. Ji-Yoon remembers the guy touched her little belly when he caught her. He wants to treat them to coffee after lunch. But she says that she has a business. She walks away. No-Ah follows Ji-Yoon.
She complains it to her that the guy sat at their table suddenly. He tried to talk to Ji-Yoon. He acted like he knew her. The two girls order the coffee. Ji-Yoon tries to pay it. But Si-Woo stops her. He pays it with his card. He thought she had a business. But what she meant is the coffee. She claims that they need coffee to stay awake. He asks her for a talk when she drinks coffee. She says that she left something in the cafeteria. She walks away. No-Ah points out that Ji-Yoon didn’t take anything.
On the stairs, No-Ah hands over the coffee to Ji-Yoon. She guesses something happened to her and Si-Woo. Ji-Yoon denies it. No-Ah thinks the guy has known that Ji-Yoon is very capable at her job. He wants to invite her to do something for him. Ji-Yoon tells No-Ah that it’s impossible. She mentions they’re in different teams. It promotes No-Ah to wonder if the guy has feelings for Ji-Yoon. She asks Ji-Yoon why the guy followed her like a puppy.
Si-Woo shows up. Ji-Yoon tries to flee. But the door to the room is closed. He asks her if he’s free tonight. She says that she has a plan. He knew it would turn out this way. He walks away. No-Ah is excited to tell Ji-Yoon that the guy wants to see her tonight. But Ji-Yoon thinks the guy did it because he thought she was an easy target.
Ji-Yoon eats chicken feet with her friend Hye-Ji at the restaurant. Ji-Yoon has no clue why the guy wants to see her. She guesses he wants her to keep the secret before he leaves the company. She saw a secret that he doesn’t want others to know. He saw her when she looked super scruffy. But Hye-Ji thinks Si-Woo wants to date Ji-Yoon. She mentions the guy laughed when he saw Ji-Yoon’s looks. He’s the one who never laughed. It means that she helped him let his guard down. Since he’s going to leave the company, Ji-Yoon doesn’t have to worry about the problem of dating a colleague. Hye-Ji tells Ji-Yoon that the guy will ask her out soon. But Ji-Yoon thinks he wouldn’t do that. She mentions there’s a black cloud above the guy’s head. But Hye-Ji thinks he’s better than the sunny fool. She persuades Ji-Yoon to give it a try. They should test each other’s feelings. After all, the best way to forget a man is to look for another one. But Ji-Yoon says that the best way is going to work.
At the company, Kee-Tae runs into Si-Woo in the lobby. He’s nervous because he came so early. They get in the elevator. Si-Woo stops the elevator so that Ji-Yoon can take the elevator. She remembers her friend told her that he wants to ask her out. She makes an excuse that she left something at the security checkpoint. She doesn’t take the elevator. She doesn’t understand why Hye-Ji said such words. All she thinks about is the case.
In the elevator, Kee-Tae tells Si-Woo that Ji-Yoon was the first one who got promoted. Si-Woo mentions Kee-Tae and Ji-Yoon had lunch together. He asks him if he and the girl are close. Kee-Tae admits that he got along well with Ji-Yoon.
Ji-Yoon arrives at the restaurant. She notices that Kee-Tae is drinking. She mentions she asked him to wait for her. She pours him a drink. He mentions he didn’t study in a famous school. So he doesn’t have Special Connections to rely on. She agrees with what he said. She tells him that he’s admirable. He doesn’t have that kind of background. But his work performance remains outstanding. He asks her why he didn’t become a Senior Specialist since he’s so great. She tells him that it’s because his bosses were terrible. He worries that he cannot raise his children well if it continues. She persuades him to find another job before he resigns.
He tells her that he’s looking for a new way. He stands up when his new lifeline comes. She turns around. She sees Si-Woo. Si-Woo is surprised that he would run into Ji-Yoon there. Kee-Tae lets the two have a talk. He needs to go to pick up his wife’s phone. Ji-Yoon stops him. She asks him what he’s doing. He begs her to help him. He reminds her that they’re colleagues. He runs out of the restaurant.
Ji-Yoon sits down. She doesn’t expect that Si-Woo used her colleague to meet her. The guy admits it to her that he wants to tell something to her. She’s nervous to ask him if he wants to do it there. He tells her that they can change a place if she feels uneasy. But she asks him to say it there. He tells her that he likes her. She’s surprised that he’s confessing his feelings to her. But he asks her to complete the task that the president arranged with him.
The company is setting up a new task force. They’re going to develop a new Spherical Refrigerator. He wishes she will join the team. She’s shocked after she knew the truth. She drops the spoon. He tries to pick the spoon. But she stops him. She says that she will do it. She wishes she disappears right now. She realizes that he got a new job when he said that he was fired. He admits that he was fired by Planning Team Two. He wanted to tell it to her, but she was drunk. So he has followed her. Because she didn’t give him the chance to tell the case. She feels embarrassed. She realizes that she overthought it.
She thanks him for his invitation. But she doesn’t plan to change a team. She’s in charge of the Voice-Activated Water Dispenser. The Voice-Activated Water Dispenser had some problems. She wants to resolve the problems. So the Voice-Activated Water Dispenser will be released next year. He promises her that he will let her keep track of the progress at all times before it’s released. She denies it. She confesses it to him that she’s afraid of failure very much. She wants to challenge the things that she can make it. She apologizes to him.
He can understand it. He asks her to keep the secret before it’s announced. Kee-Tae comes back. He pours Si-Woo a drink. He asks him if he knows he has a nickname. Si-Woo knows he was called Three No Man. He asks Kee-Tae to use his card to pay the bill. He thanks him for letting him and Ji-Yoon have a good talk.
Si-Woo leaves the restaurant. Ji-Yoon grabs a spoon to hit Kee-Tae’s head. She blames him for tricking her there with an excuse of work. He claims that he had no choice. Because Si-Woo wanted to see her. He asks her what she talked to Si-Woo. She tells him that it’s a secret when she wants to beat him.
In the evening, Si-Woo visits Ji-Yoon’s father Young-Mok’s store when Young-Mok is fixing a circuit board. He tells him that he came back a few days ago. He gives him a pair of binoculars. He tells him that he likes his voice and the shop. He felt easy when he came to the shop. Young-Mok guesses something is bothering Si-Woo. Otherwise, Si-Woo wouldn’t come to his shop. Young-Mok gives a job to Si-Woo. Si-Woo reveals he just got rejected. He needs some advice. Young-Mok learns that the girl is pretty. He persuades Si-Woo to smile more.
The next day at Saeum Electronics, the people in the office are told that Si-Woo became the team leader of the task force. Kee-Tae asks Ji-Yoon if she joined the task force. She denies it. He feels relieved. He worried she would be pushed into the fire pit because of him. No-Ah asks Kee-Tae what happened. He says that he thought Si-Woo would be over when Si-Woo said that he wanted to end everything. But it’s not true.
It flashes back. The president U-Jin meets Si-Woo in the meeting room. She tells him that the position isn’t suitable for him. She asks him to step down from the position of Planning Team Two. She thinks he was right that they should stop the Spherical Refrigerator plan. Instead, he needs to form a task force. Starting over from scratch. He wants to have full responsibility for the project. He will take responsibility. He will report directly to her.
At present, Kee-Tae suggests that the colleagues shouldn’t move. They don’t know if it’s a good thing to join the task force. Manager Ko orders his employees not to join the task force. He tells them that it’s a kind of betrayal if they do so. He asks Ji-Yoon about the speech recognition issues of the Water Dispenser. She tells him that they changed the microphone. They’re testing it. He’s furious to ask her to go to confirm it.
Si-Woo scolds the girl. He asks her to work with her pride. It makes her cry. He tells her that tears will only hurt her in the workplace. She cries to run away. Ji-Yoon sees the girl. She thinks she’s very lucky that she didn’t join Si-Woo’s team.
In Mr. Kim’s office, Ji-Yoon asks the Water Dispenser to give her 100 milliliters of ice water. The Water Dispenser does it. Mr. Kim asks Ji-Yoon how Planning Team found the microphone. She mentions what he said that Planning Team should keep a few extra bullets on hand. She prepared the plan b as extra bullets. If she didn’t prepare plan b, she couldn’t leave work early. He brings up the task force. He had a premonition that Si-Woo wouldn’t let it go when he saw him at the factory. She heard that Si-Woo stayed in Development Team. She wants to know what Si-Woo looked like. He tells her that the guy didn’t smile just like he’s now. But everyone respected him very much. Because Si-Woo was never defeated by machine.
In Planning Team office, No-Ah tells Manager Ko that she wants to take a day off tomorrow. She explains it to him that her sister was in hospital suddenly. He asks her why she wants to take a day off since the one in the hospital is her sister. She returns to her seat. He asks Ji-Yoon to take over No-Ah’s Overseas Market Research. She needs to complete it tomorrow. Ji-Yoon agrees when No-Ah doesn’t want to bring trouble to her. She knows the guy intended to do that.
No-Ah leaves the company. She boards a high-speed train. She texts her sister. She wishes she will be fine. In the evening, No-Ah arrives at the hospital. She sees her boyfriend Goo-Won talking to the girl. The girl leaves after knowing Goo-Won knows No-Ah.
Outside the hospital, Goo-Won thinks No-Ah shouldn’t have come to his place. He mentions what he said that he was very busy. She knows he was very busy, and he didn’t have time to reply to her message. So she came to the place. She asks him why he’s so angry. He apologizes to her. He explains it to her that he did it because he has too much on his plate. He thinks she shouldn’t have come. Because she’s busy as well. He feels guilty. She complains it to him that she intended to take a day off. But she was scolded by him. She tells him that she didn’t have dinner. He decides to treat her to a nice meal.
Ji-Yoon gets off work. She hears the music from Si-Woo’s office. She takes a look at the office. She sees Si-Woo writing something on the whiteboard. She remembers Mr. Kim’s words that Si-Woo was never defeated by machine. He turns around and he sees her. She quickly hides herself. He continues to work. She sighs and she walks away. She thinks he’s a smart and capable boss.
Ji-Yoon returns home. She gets a call from Autumn. She doesn’t pick up his phone. He calls her. He hugs her. He tells her that he missed her. She pushes him away. She asks him why he’s there. He thinks the trip has taken a while. He strokes her hair. But she shakes off his hand. He can tell that she’s really angry. He apologizes to her. She blames him for disappearing for eight months. She asks him if he thinks she will pretend nothing happened and welcome him. She tells him that he made her wait for him too long.
She waited for him because she worried about him in the beginning. But she waited for him because of anger then. But he smiled and showed up in front of her. He’s with the looks that it’s just a few days. He tells her that he couldn’t break up with her. He tries to drag her into the house for a talk. She shakes off his hand again. She tells him that they have been over. She asks him why he came back. He explains it to her that he came back because he left something important. He cannot live without it.
In 2021, Autumn runs into Ji-Yoon at a convenience store. They go to a playground. He reveals he contacted her after he came back. But she chanced her number. She explains it to him that she changed a new cell phone that the company provided. So she changed the number. He tells her that she was changed after she went to the place to work. He mentions she would contact him before. But it’s not important. He’s very happy that they can meet like that. He thinks they’re meant to be together. She asks him not to make that kind of joke. She mentions he knows she has liked him very much. She tells him that it was very hard to forget him. He catches the chance to ask her out. He likes her. He realized that he liked her when he was free. He approaches her and he kisses her.
At present, Ji-Yoon tries to hand over a box to Autumn. She asks him to take away the stuff that he left. He claims that the thing he left isn’t it. He thinks she should know it. She puts the box on the ground. She tells him that he can throw it away if he doesn’t want to take it. He apologizes to her for letting her wait for him for a long time. She thinks he forgot her early. Although it was painful to her, that time is enough to let her forget him. She asks him not to appear suddenly. She’s not happy at all when she sees him.
Ji-Yoon is at home. She looks out the window. The box is still on the ground. Autumn didn’t take it away. It’s raining outside.
The next day, Si-Woo goes shopping at the convenience store. The salesgirl asks him if Ji-Yoon gave the drink to him. At Saeum Electronics, Ji-Yoon gives Manager Ko the Overseas Market Report that No-Ah is doing. But he wants to use the previous microphone. He thinks the risk is too high. She reminds him that it’s the last test today. He asks her to go to stop it. He asks her if she’s going against him. She denies it. She asks him how he will resolve the Speech Recognition Issues. He asks her to get those guys to change the software. She tells him that it cannot resolve the problem. He decides to let those guys know it on his own since she rejected to do so. She follows him. She persuades him that Development Team hasn’t slept for a few days because of the case. But he thinks it’s their duty. Si-Woo bumps Manager Ko. He thinks he’s not changed. He guesses he had a big meal last night.
Outside the company, Si-Woo asks Ji-Yoon how she took care of his drink. He mistakes she drank it up. She reveals it’s in the fridge at her house. He decides to go to take it after he gets off work. But she wants to buy him a bottle of drink. He rejects it. She plans to take it to him tomorrow. He claims that he wants to drink it today.
At the cafe, Ji-Yoon returns the drink to Si-Woo. He asks her about the farce. She reveals Development Team argues heatedly, but it returned to normal like nothing happened. He tells her that the similar thing happened to him as well. Manager Ko decided to replace a part with no issues with the product from another supplier. Si-Woo looked into it. He discovers that Manager Ko took a kickback. He reported him. But those guys kept the supplier due to a lack of crucial evidence. Si-Woo was kicked out of Planning Team. Ji-Yoon believes that Si-Woo must have been feeling terrible. He says that he decided to let his Work Achievements speak. He invites her to join his task force. He promises her that he won’t let it happen to her. She asks him why he wants to do those things for her. They haven’t known each other too long. But he tells her that he has paid attention to her for a long time.
It flashes back. Ji-Yoon just joins the company. She tells her colleagues that she wants to develop a set of automated magic housework system. She doesn’t know Si-Woo is watching her. She makes a deep impression on him. She’s not like other rookies. She knows what she wants to do. Even though time flies, her ambition remains as strong as ever. But she’s changed a lot when he sees her at the factory. He’s disappointed.
At present, Si-Woo tells Ji-Yoon that he knew she wasn’t changed after he read her notebook. She just concealed it. He doesn’t want to miss the person. He thinks she can set her sights on higher goals. He persuades her that she shouldn’t hide her potential in the notebook. He thanks her for keeping the drink for him. He leaves the cafe. She felt her heart skip a beat.
At the company, No-Ah is in the elevator. She remembers Goo-Won wanted to break up with her. She pretended she didn’t hear it. But she was devastated. No-Ah tears up. Ji-Yoon finds No-Ah in the restroom. She notices that she’s sick. She wants to take her to hospital. No-Ah points out that she just took a day off yesterday. But Ji-Yoon reminds the girl that she cannot work.
No-Ah tells Manager Ko that she wants to leave work early. He scolds her. He thinks she told a lie to him that her sister was sick. She was actually on a trip with her boyfriend. He asks her to go to get married. She shouldn’t come to the company being a salary thief. Ji-Yoon yells at Manager Ko. She reminds him that he just bullied No-Ah. She won’t report him. She begs him not to be rude to them.

She sees the annotation Si-Woo did. She cries. She blames him for doing it in her notebook. She thinks he’s a weirdo.
The next day, Ji-Yoon arrives at the company. She’s in a good mood. She greets Manager Ko. He asks her to have a seat. But she walks to Si-Woo. She applies to join his team. He shakes hands with her. He smiles. He drags her to his side. She’s surprised to look at his good looking face.
