Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 10 Recap: We Need A Hero

The fight of the two nations is going to begin in Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 10. Sung Jinwoo looks at the hunters who took part in the game. He notes that Goto Ryuji didn’t take part in the game. But he can see the fight of the S-Rank hunters because of it.

Ma Dongwook transforms first. His body shape is twice as big. He walks to the muscle guy Kenzo Tanaka. The two’s ideas are clear. That’s the power struggle of fists. Lim Tae-Gyu comes from Fiend Guild. He fights the melee hunter Minoru Hoshino. Lim Tae-Gyu is struggling a bit when he faces Minoru Hoshino because he’s a ranger. He uses magic balls for breaking out of the difficult situation.

The attack gets Kenzo Tanaka involved. Ma Dongwook gives the guy a heavy hit. Choi Jong-In witnesses it. He asks Go Gunhee if the playground was enhanced by the highest level Mana crystals. He worries that the gym will be ruined. Go Gunhee smiles. He thinks he needs to review the quality of the gym. Baek Yoonho realizes that those guys are top hunters in S-Rank.

He thinks he shouldn’t fight with the mindset of having fun. He knows he needs to have the intention to kill his rival if he wants to win. But his rival Atsushi Kumamoto‎‎ is precise to avoid his attack. He’s fast to keep a distance. Baek Yoonho sees that Atsushi Kumamoto isn’t the hunter who likes long fight. Atsushi Kumamoto thinks it’s too tricky. He’s not good at dealing with the situation.

Baek Yoonho guesses that Goto Ryuji wants to use him to test the Japanese hunters. After all, they need to deal with those ants. Baek Yoonho decides not to conceal it anymore. He turns his two hands into the beast form. He swears to let those guys see his strength. Atsushi Kumamoto flees after he saw it. The master of Knights Guild sweats after he watched the fight. He’s not those guys’ rival even if he’s an A-Rank hunter.

The follower comforts him that his strength is very powerful. Kenzo Tanaka ends the fight. Ma Dongwook is beaten into the ground. It’s his first time to lose face. Lim Tae-Gyu’s wrists are grabbed by Minoru Hoshino. He loses. Kenzo Tanaka and Minoru Hoshino support Atsushi Kumamoto immediately. Baek Yoonho needs to fight three S-Rank hunters.

He wonders why the two didn’t go to fight Cha Hae-In. He thinks he’s easy to be bullied. Cha Hae-In actually shows her invincibility. Kanae Tawata isn’t Cha Hae-In’s rival. She tries her best to resist the attacks. Cha Hae-In is a melee hunter who’s called dancer. Her pose is like dancing.

Cha Hae-In defeats Kanae Tawata. She goes to support Baek Yoonho. But Atsushi Kumamoto appears behind her. She hits his face and it makes him mad. He has suppressed his fight desire. The interpreter Hanekawa reminds Goto Ryuji that they need to do something to stop Atsushi Kumamoto. But he chooses to watch it.

Sung Jinwoo blocks the attack when everyone thinks Cha Hae-In will be killed. He doesn’t allow anyone to touch his girl. Cha Hae-In should be only touched by him. But Atsushi Kumamoto doesn’t treat Sung Jinwoo as his rival. He tries to catch our hero. But he’s pinned to the ground. Everyone is shocked. They don’t expect that Sung Jinwoo caught the crazy Atsushi Kumamoto.

Goto Ryuji questions it again that if Sung Jinwoo is actually a mage. But Hanekawa gives him an affirmative answer. It seems that he needs to confirm it on his own. Sung Jinwoo lets Cha Hae-In to concede. Because Baek Yoonho is out. Baek Yoonho knows if won’t win even if he uses his full strength. Hanekawa walks to Sung Jinwoo. She tells him that Goto Ryuji wants to challenge him.

Sung Jinwoo sees the murderous aura around Goto Ryuji’s body. He guesses the guy came to test his strength. But it’s what he wants to get. He wants to know if his strength was enhanced after he left Demon Castle. Goto Ryuji sees Sun Jinwoo smiling at him. He’s not happy. Hanekawa tells Goto Ryuji that Sung Jinwoo agrees to the challenge as long as he uses his full strength. He thinks Sung Jinwoo provoked him.

Meanwhile, the TV plays the 4th Jeju Island Raid. Lee Joohee watches the news. She thinks she needs to do her job well as a B-Rank healer since the hunters are working hard. She goes to the balcony and she calls the guild. She decides to take part in the team.

The fight of Sung Jinwoo and Goto Ryuji catches everyone’s attention. Although Cha Hae-In saw Sung Jinwoo’s fight from the A-Rank dungeon, she worries about him. Baek Yoonho approaches her. He thinks he should stop the fight of the fighter and the mage. But he wants to know Sung Jinwoo’s strength like her. He tells Cha Hae-In that the guy won’t lose if he’s the awakener who can level up constantly.

Goto Ryuji punches Sung Jinwoo after Sung Jinwoo just warmed up. It’s obvious that he wanted to kill our hero with the punch. Fortunately, Sung Jinwoo avoids it. Goto Ryuji doesn’t believe Sung Jinwoo is a mage since Sung Jinwoo’s poses and his speed were so light. He wants to disclose the guy’s real face.

Sung Jinwoo notes that Goto Ryuji is different from other S-Rank hunters. But he can avoid the attack easily. Goto Ryuji picks up his speed after he saw our hero’s smiling. Ma Dongwook praises Sung Jinwoo for avoiding the attacks. But only Cha Hae-In sees that Sung Jinwoo is testing the rival’s strength. Goto Ryuji gets angry because Sung Jinwoo didn’t attack him. He decides to kill the guy.

But Sung Jinwoo blocks the attack and he intends to only catch Goto Ryuji’s palm. He could win as long as he caught the rival’s wrist. Goto Ryuji thinks Sung Jinwoo is playing with him. Although Sung Jinwoo doesn’t understand what Goto Ryuji says, he’s happy with the fight. He doesn’t want to end it so easy. The two step back and they adjust their positions.

The hunters on the stage know Goto Ryuji is going to be serious. The two cannot retreat without injuries if they continue to fight. An icicle blocks the two when they’re going to touch each other. Cha Hae-In and Baek Yoonho stop Sung Jinwoo. Nobody can take the duty if something bad happens because they’re going to take part in the Jeju Island Raid. The game is over.

Ma Dongwook taps Sung Jinwoo on his shoulder. He thinks he has talent because Sung Jinwoo’s cheek was only hurt when he fought Goto Ryuji. Sung Jinwoo realizes that he was too serious. He almost killed Goto Ryuji. But he knows everyone’s strength. He lets the shadow soldiers sneak into the five’s shadows.

Go Gunhee sends Goto Ryuji and his men off. Sung Jinwoo finds Go Gunhee. He tells him that he won’t take part in the raid. Goto Ryuji returns home. He calls someone and he reports to him that there’s an outstanding hunter in Korea. The guy thinks Goto Ryuji is joking. After all, Goto Ryuji is the strongest S-Rank hunter in Japan. Goto Ryuji is shocked after he remembered the whole fight. He asks the person Reiji Sugimoto to look into Sung Jinwoo’s history. But he’s told that Sung Jinwoo doesn’t appear on the list of the raid.

Cha Hae-In gets the message soon. Choi Jong-In and Baek Yoonho mind that Min Byung-Gyu isn’t on the list as well. It means that there’s no any top healer joining them. They can only rely on the 15 S-Rank hunters. Baek Yoonho makes the decision to kill the ants completely.

Sung Jinwoo returns home. His mother and his younger sister have prepared the dinner. They waited him to come home. Sung Jinwoo has wished to see the scene. His mother woke up in the end after she had slept for four years. He thinks he needs to accompany his family first. So he decides not to go to Jeju Island.

Meanwhile, the ants on Jeju Island don’t have any food. They begin to eat each other. Ant Queen thinks they need to leave the island fast. She plans to let a more powerful child lead the people. A hug egg is hatching. The news covers the evolution of the ants. Their forms are close to human form. There’re huge wings on their backs.

It’s raid day tomorrow. Min Byung-Gyu passes by a park. He sees some kids playing the game that hunters beat magic beasts. It makes him think about something. Han Song-Yi questions Yoo Jinho why she has to join the patrol team. He thinks she’s just an E-Rank hunter. He doesn’t wish her to go to the front.

Go Gunhee is ready for tomorrow. He thinks they have to win. The next day, the fleets surround Jeju Island. The master of Knights Guild joins the mission. His follower wonders if their powers will work for the ants. But nobody knows it if we don’t give it a try. They prepare for any eventualities as patrol team. They need to kill the ants so that the magic beast won’t flee to Korea.

Ma Dongwook says goodbye to his vice-master. He’s not sure if he can come back. So he asks her to take care of the guild. Lim Tae-Gyu gets a call from someone. He’s told that Lee Minsung was sent to the front line. He’s anxious to arrange Lee Minsung to the back line. He will lose a lot if something bad happens to Lee Minsung. The big troop sends a message that all the work are done. There’re many hunters volunteering to take part in the battle. Go Gunhee is surprised that Min Byung-Gyu decided to go the Jeju Island with them.

Baek Yoonho sees Min Byung-Gyu. He’s very happy. Goto Ryuji goes to the central city on the island. The Japanese S-Rank hunters are ready. A cameraman is arranged in the helicopter for passing on the joy of victory. Ma Dongwook reminds the cameraman that it will be a fierce battle. He tells him to be ready for it. But the cameraman doesn’t fear it at all. Because he’s an A-Rank hunter. He gets used to film in danger zones. He thinks it will be his last to witness the S-Rank hunters to raid. Because their nation will disappear from the map if the raid fails. Go Gunhee announces that the raid begins.

The Japanese S-Rank hunters release the magic power together for tempting the enemies. The ants leave the nest after they received the magic power. Choi Jong-In sees the ants flying to the helicopter. He asks the captain to open the door of the nacelle. He begins his performance.

The Korea S-Rank hunters prepare to land. The Japanese hunters can only hold the ants off for an hour. They need to kill Ant Queen during the time. Reiji Sugimoto orders to use interference wave after the Korean hunters took action. So the ants won’t receive the signal from Ant Queen from now on.

The hunters begin the annihilation plan. The entrapment squad is in charge of holding off the ant soldiers. Choi Jong-In uses his fire magic to seal the entrance to the caves. But there’re so many caves. The people don’t know where Ant Queen’s cave is. Choi Jong-In releases many fire balls. He finds Ant Queen’s cave.

Sung Jinwoo just completes morning exercise. He looks at the empty streets. He worries about it. But he believes that the hunters will complete the raid because they’re powerful. The people walk forward. They kill many ants. But they don’t find Ant Queen. Choi Jong-In finds a place. The people go to check it out. They find the spawning room. Cha Hae-In pays attention to a hug eggshell. Min Byung-Gyu is startled. But their main mission is to kill Ant Queen. Baek Yoonho looks at the big eggshell. He has a bad feelings. He thinks the eggshell hatched a scary monster.
