The maid reports something to Mrs. Xu. Xiao Qiao walks into Mrs. Xu’s room in The Prisoner of Beauty Chinese drama episode 10. She apologizes to Mrs. Xu for her late. Mrs. Xu lets the maids leave. She asks Xiao Qiao to sit with her on the bed. She mentions Wei Shao and his mother had a fight in the East House. But Xiao Qiao pretends to know nothing. Mrs. Xu brings up that Wei Shao took ice in the evening. Xiao Qiao explains that her husband used the ice for healing his injuries. She thinks Wei Shao will be fine because he has had the ginger soup.
Mrs. Xu learns that Xiao Qiao has taken care of her grandson for one night. Xiao Qiao leaves. Zhong Ao mistakes that the lady doesn’t know the truth in The Prisoner of Beauty. She thinks they were luck that they knew it from the maids. But Mrs. Xu knows Xiao Qiao told a lie to her. Zhong Ao is surprised that Mrs. Xu doesn’t get angry. Zheng Shu Leaves Wei Family
Mrs. Zhu is very sad when she hugs Zheng Shu in the yard in The Prisoner of Beauty. She complains it to her niece that she wouldn’t lose her face in front of her son if Xiao Qiao was thoughtful. Mrs. Xu shows up when she thinks the aunt and the niece are affectionate. The two get on knees to Mrs. Xu. But Mrs. Xu orders the maids to take away Zheng Shu. She promises Mrs. Zhu that she won’t bully Zheng Shu. Zhong Ao mentions Zheng Shu has an uncle. She reveals Mrs. Xu has prepared dowry for the girl. She thinks Mrs. Zhu will be happy with it.
Wei Shao is in the palace. He remembers he was rude to Xiao Qiao. Xiao Tan brings the soup to Wei Shao. He reveals Xiao Qiao told him to do so. He reports to Wei Shao that Mrs. Xu went to see Mrs. Zhu after Xiao Qiao visited Mrs. Xu. Chun Niang reports to Xiao Qiao in the room that Mrs. Zhu went to the Ancestral Hall after the madam was scold. She wonders what happened. Xiao Qiao thinks it’s normal. She wishes her mother-in-law to learn a lesson from it. Wei Shao walks into the room. The maids leave.
Wei Shao and Xiao Qiao have a seat. He reveals heard she was summoned by his grandmother. She comforts him that she didn’t leak what happened in last night to Mrs. Xu. She adds that even Chun Niang doesn’t know it. They have meal together. He sees the injury on her hand. He remembers he hurt her hand last night. They sleep after the dinner. Wei Shao gets up from his bed. He takes out a bottle of ointment from the box. He walks to Xiao Qiao’s bed. He lifts her sleeve. Xiao Qiao is woken up. He learns that she fears of him. He explains it to her that he just worried about injury. He leaves the ointment. He promises her that he won’t hurt her again. She takes a look at the ointment after he left.
Wei Shao Plans to Go to Panyi
The generals have an argument in the palace. They talk about who should go to Yongning Channel. Wei Shao throws a fit to the generals. Wei Qu thinks the lord had a fight with his wife. Wei Shao decides to go to Yongning Channel on his own. Xiao Qiao waits for her husband at home. But he doesn’t come home. She goes to the office to look for Wei Shao. But he’s not there.

She informs Xiao Qiao that her mother-in-law is looking for her. Xiao Qiao leaves with Jiang Ao.
Mrs. Zhu scolds Xiao Qiao in the room. She blames her for sending away her cherished Zheng Shu. Xiao Qiao intends to leave because she thinks her mother-in-law is tired. But Mrs. Zhu stops Xiao Qiao. Wei Shao passes by his mother’s room. He eavesdrops on the conversation. Xiao Qiao figures out that Mrs. Zhu doesn’t know Mrs. Xu’s intention after she went to the Ancestral Hall to reflect. Mrs. Zhu is furious to tell her daughter-in-law that Zheng Shu is better than her. Xiao Qiao admits it. She scolds Mrs. Zhu for caring for Zheng Shu. She thinks she doesn’t wish her son to be the lord. Mrs. Zhu is angry to flip the table.
