Me-Ri learns that Woo-Joo has feelings for her when they’re at the hospital in Would You Marry Me episode 7. She wonders why he likes her because she’s a divorced woman. She worries that his family won’t be happy with it. But he points out that she won’t date his family. He grabs her hand when she’s hesitating. He asks her if he troubled her. She denies it. She thinks they will face many practical issues if they get married. She asks him if he has savings. She sees that he’s not a thrifty person, according to what he wears. He explains it to her that he wore the suit because he planned to have lunch with her.

Me-Ri asks Woo-Joo if he has a house. He reveals he’s living with his grandma. He offers to move out. She rejects it. He learns that she worries that he’s going to live in the lottery house with her. He claims that he’s not such a person. He reveals his family isn’t poor and he has a good annual salary. She explains it to him that she was flustered after she heard the surprised words. He points out that he didn’t say that he wants to marry her immediately. He offers to pretend it never happened. He tries to walk away. She follows him. She thinks he got angry.
Woo-Joo-2 walks out of his ward. He sees Me-Ri and Woo-Joo. He cries to walk to Me-Ri. He blames her for abandoning him. He learns that Woo-Joo is the team leader who lent Me-Ri the house. Woo-Joo takes the guy to go back to the ward. Me-Ri receives a message from Song-Hee. Song-Hee reports it to the boss that the coffee shop wasn’t satisfied with the trademark they designed. Woo-Joo volunteers to take care of Woo-Joo-2. So Me-Ri leaves the ward.
Pil-Nyeon is in her office. She gives Mr. Ko’s papers to Joo-Hee. She asks her to look into it. Han-Gu visits Pil-Nyeon. He sees the papers. He hands over the papers of the factory in Texas to her. He reports to her that the factory will be undergoing a trial run. She asks him to train the chefs and the employees well. Because they’re going to supply the hotel with their goods. So they shouldn’t make any mistakes.
Pil-Nyeon and Han-Gu meet the director of the hotel David at the restaurant. David is satisfied with Pil-Nyeon’s goods. Pil-Nyeon is happy to leave. David worries that Pil-Nyeon will confirm it with the hotel. Because he resigned. Han-Gu comforts David that he will be the one who confirms it. David thinks Han-Gu didn’t have to close the J Consulting Company. Han-Gu asks David to leave Korea.
Woo-Joo-2 calls Me-Ri in the ward. She doesn’t pick up his phone. Woo-Joo brings the milk and the bread to the guy. He eats the bread after Woo-Joo-2 refused to eat the bread. Woo-Joo-2 tells Woo-Joo that he cannot defeat him because Me-Ri likes handsome man.
Me-Ri lies in the bed at home in the evening. She remembers Woo-Joo grabbed her hand suddenly. She receives a message from Woo-Joo. He reports to her that nothing happened to him and Woo-Joo-2. She promises not to do anything that he minds.
The next day, Jin-Gyeong talks with the jogger over the phone in the lobby at the hospital. Eun-Sook bumps Jin-Gyeong. The nurse gives Woo-Joo-2 a shot in the ward. She finds out that he stinks. She asks Woo-Joo to do something. Woo-Joo cleans body for Woo-Joo-2. Eun-Sook and Jin-Hwa show up. Woo-Joo-2 cries to hug his mother. She wonders who made him fracture. He points at Woo-Joo. Woo-Joo leaves the ward.
Woo-Joo-2 begs his mother to go to apologize to Me-Ri. So the girl will forgive him. Eun-Sook calls Me-Ri. She asks her to come to the hospital. But Me-Ri rejects it because she doesn’t want to see her and Woo-Joo-2. Song-Hee overhears it. She learns that Me-Ri broke up with Woo-Joo-2. Song-Hee realizes that she made a mistake. Because she told Woo-Joo-2 where Me-Ri was. Me-Ri asks Song-Hee not to pick up Woo-Joo-2’s phone from now on.
Me-Ri walks out of her office. Woo-Joo is waiting for her. She gets in his car. He drives the car. She notices that he bought a new car. He reveals he’s going to pick her up everyday. Because he wants to be nice to her. She claims that she won’t be fooled by his sweet talk. He takes out a bouquet of flowers. She’s happy to smell the flowers. She learns that the flower is called Pingpong Daisy. The flower language is that he’s sincere.
Jin-Gyeong and Sang-Hyun have a meeting at the restaurant. The jogger made an appointment with Jin-Gyeong. But she cannot come. Sang-Hyun decides to leave. Jin-Gyeong keeps the guy. Because the jogger prepared the meal for them. They drink and taste the food. She brings up that he’s a man who has a strong sense of justice. But she wonders why he was timid when he faced his boss. She apologizes to him after she realized that she hurt him. He reveals he had to give up his pride because he’s not like her.
Woo-Joo drives Me-Ri to her house. She gives a present to him because he took care of Woo-Joo-2 for her. She tries to get off his car. But he wants to enter the house with her. Because he wants to show her something. Woo-Joo and Me-Ri are in the house. Woo-Joo shows Me-Ri his notebooks. He tries to make her believe that he’s a frugal man. But she discovers a girl’s name from his notebook. She thinks he likes the girl. She tries to read another notebook. But he throws himself at her when he tries to take back his notebook. He tries to kiss her. But she’s hungry.
Me-Ri takes out the rice cakes from the microwave oven. She and Woo-Joo taste the rice cakes. They think they should drink beer. They go to the roof. They drink beer together. She asks him about his dream when he was the kid. She knows he wanted to be a Go player. She’s told that he wants to thank a girl he doesn’t know.
Sang-Hyun takes the drunk Jin-Gyeong out of the restaurant. She asks him if she’s charming. He thinks she’s charming. She’s very happy. But he wonders why the man she likes didn’t treat her as a woman. She figures it out that the man did it because they have known each other for a long time. Sang-Hyun points out that the man didn’t treat her as a woman from the very beginning. She mentions they were kids when they were friends. But Sang-Hyun thinks the man knew it even if he and Jin-Gyeong were kids. Jin-Gyeong is furious to hold Sang-Hyun’s face after knowing the truth. She cries to sit on the ground. She thinks Woo-Joo is a jerk. She mistakes Sang-Hyun’s car for her car. She gets into the car.
Me-Ri is in front of the window. She finds out that the rain grows heavier and heavier. She wonders if Woo-Joo called a cab. He denies it. He complains it to her that he couldn’t call any cab because of the rain. He doesn’t know what to do because he cannot sleep there. But she thinks he can do it because it’s his home as well. He’s shocked. She realizes that she said something wrong. So she explains it to him that what she meant was that the department store thought it’s their home. He agrees with what she said. He decides to sleep over at the house. He thinks he can go to work tomorrow as long as he wakes up early. She wonders where he’s going to sleep. He takes a look at the bedroom. But he plans to sleep on the couch. Because he likes couch. She thinks it’s a bad idea when he lies on the couch. She goes to look for clothes for him. Me-Ri finds a shirt from the bedroom. Bu Woo-Joo falls asleep after she came back. She leaves the shirt on the couch. She puts a blanket on him.
Me-Ri smiles when she looks at Woo-Joo. She thinks he’s good looking when he sleeps. She walks away. He opens his eyes because he didn’t sleep. She likes in the bed in her bedroom. She’s in a good mood. She thinks they’re like real couple. Thunder is rolling. Woo-Joo texts Me-Ri. He learns that she was startled. He sends a song to her. They listen to the music together.
The next day, Me-Ri and Woo-Joo meet Sang-Hyun at a restaurant. Me-Ri wishes to have breakfast with Sang-Hyun. But the guy leaves. Jin-Gyeong wakes up on the couch in Sang-Hyun’s house. She rolls off the couch. She looks at herself in the mirror. She finds out that she’s ugly. She remembers she kicked Sang-Hyun after he took her home. She tries to take off her clothes. He went to stop her. But he was on her. He pushes her into the bathroom when she wanted to vomit.
Jin-Gyeong carries her bag and her cell phone. She tries to run away from the house. But Sang-Hyun comes back. She has to pretend to sleep on the couch. He prepares the new clothes and the hangover soup for her. He leaves. She feels embarrassed.
Woo-Joo and Me-Ri go to the coffee shop. They run into the star Sang-Uk. Me-Ri is excited. She asks Sang-Uk to sign on her shirt. But Woo-Joo lets the guy sign on his shirt instead. He takes a photo of Me-Ri and Sang-Uk. Me-Ri and Woo-Joo are on the way home. Me-Ri finds out that the photo Woo-Joo took is terrible. She gets angry. She thinks the guy intended to do that. They run into Jin-Gyeong.
Jin-Gyeong meets Woo-Joo outside Me-Ri’s house. She thinks he’s insane. He claims that Me-Ri won the lottery. But she asks him to quit because it’s a fraud. Joo-Hee calls the lawyer. She asks him about the consulting company. He reports it to Han-Gu immediately. Han-Gu is told that the lady found out something.
Me-Ri and Song-Hee are in the office. Me-Ri plans to go home. She gets a call from Jin-Gyeong. The two have a meeting at a cafe. Jin-Gyeong asks Me-Ri not to get Woo-Joo involved. Because Woo-Joo is the one who will take over the company Myungsoondang. Me-Ri feels guilty. She plans to ask Woo-Joo to end it. But Jin-Gyeong wishes Me-Ri to end it in person. Because she knows Woo-Joo won’t reject Me-Ri for the grace.

Me-Ri is at the bus station. She remembers Jin-Gyeong told her that Woo-Joo was the boy who was saved by her father. She figures it out why the guy helped her. Woo-Joo meets Jin-Gyeong at a cafe. She confesses it to him that she told the truth to Me-Ri. He walks out of the cafe. He calls Me-Ri. She doesn’t pick up his phone. He gets in his car. He drives his car away.

Me-Ri is at home. She’s told that the dog was dumped. Young-Sook notices that her daughter isn’t happy. Me-Ri takes the dog for a walk. She asks the dog not to fall for anyone because she knows she will be hurt in the end. Woo-Joo shows up. He learns that she didn’t pick up his phone because she left her phone at home. They go to the mountain. She’s told that he has kept the doll she gave to him. She’s the unknown girl. She asks him not to feel guilty for the death of her father. Because she thinks he wasn’t related to her father’s death. She asks him not to help her because she feels uneasy. He claims that he did it because he likes her. He kisses her.
