Under-The-Table Dealings

Classroom of The Elite Season 4 Episode 7

Utomiya asks Yagami if Hosen will come. Yagami isn’t sure. Utomiya tells Yagami that he thinks the guy won’t come. Because Hosen wants to get points from Class 2-D. Yagami points out that they will exclude Class 2-D if Hosen doesn’t arrive. Osamu shows up. Yagami realizes that Osamu was asked to deal with problems. Osamu points out that the leader in his class is a person who doesn’t want the hassle. Utomiya offers to get the three classes to join forces. But Yagami heard that the exam required the skills other than academic ability. Although Class 1-D comes in last, the physical ability is just as good as the first place’s physical ability. It will play an important role when it comes to team building.

Osamu knows what Utomiya meant. If you want to cooperate, you need to hand over the points. The people of Class 1-A aren’t happy with Hosen’s attitude as well. But it’s too early to give up Hosen. Utomiya admits that there’re some talented individuals in Class 1-D. But they don’t have to please him to get combat power. Osamu turns around. He sees Hosen. Hosen smiles at the class leaders.

Hosen asks the class leaders if they want to take out the points. Utomiya tells Hosen that they won’t give any points to him. Yagami persuades the two to calm down. He thinks if they go on the verge of a confrontation at first, it’s not a negotiation. Osamu announces that the negotiation begins since everyone is there. But Hosen throws Osamu against the blackboard. Utomiya asks Hosen not to use violence. Hosen asks Utomiya if he wants to stop him. Utomiya claims that he will do that if it’s necessary.

Hosen laughs. He wants to see it. He tries to punch Utomiya. Utomiya grabs Hosen’s arm. He decides to let him have his way since it’s his wish. But he asks him not to hurt his classmates. He thinks he was the one who forced Hatano to drop out. Yagami reminds the two that they should prepare for the survival in the wild on the deserted island. Hosen claims that he didn’t promise to take part in the negotiation. Yagami asks Hosen if he came to kill time. He doesn’t believe it. Because he knows he’s not stupid.

The second-year students and the third-year students experienced the exam one time. They need to fight in the bad situation. If they cannot join forces, they might be exploited by others. Hosen is surprised that Yagami has no guts. He’s confident that he will defeat the second-year students and the third-year students. Yagami persuades Hosen that not everyone is like him who’s unparalleled. The comprehensive skills of the first-year students cannot compare to the seniors’ comprehensive skills. It’s the fact that they cannot conceal.

Yagami thinks the first-year students should work together. They need to form a formidable team of four. He mentions what Hosen said that gathering a group of students who wouldn’t lose to the seniors. They won’t fight for the class points in the exam. They’re different from the seniors who are going to graduate. They have plenty of time. So they should give up the class points. But Utomiya thinks there are too few benefits. Yagami points out that once they’re exploited by the seniors, they cannot worry about that.

Osamu asks Yagami why it’s a team. He thinks they should form more strong teams. Yagami agrees with what Osamu said. But if they want to do that at first, combat power will disperse. So it’s very important to form a team of four that can get first place. After all, the seniors only have three people and three classes to collaborate. It doesn’t matter that they give up other placements once they take first place. Even if they ignore Hosen, and the three classes collaborate. They can only be on par with other years. It’s the exclusive benefits of the first-year that a group can have up to four members. Yagami thinks they shouldn’t give up the exclusive benefits. He wishes everyone helps him. He reaches out his hand to Hosen.

Hosen agrees to help Yagami. It promotes Osamu to believe that the guy has an idea. Yagami asks Hosen to speak out his condition. Hosen asks Yagami to reserve two spots to the students of Class 1-D. But Yagami isn’t sure if they can form a large group on their own. Hosen says that it’s the absolute condition. Yagami learns that they have to make it through with just four people if they don’t accept the two people of Class 1-D.

Utomiya asks Hosen not to be kidding. But Hosen claims that he’s not kidding. He asks Utomiya to leave if he’s not happy with it. Yagami calms Utomiya down. He thinks he can accept the condition. The top priority is that the four people should join forces. Utomiya worries that Hosen will take advantage of the situation if they allow him to make a scene for no reason. But if they give up Class 1-D right now, it won’t be changed. It’s most important that the first-year students win in the exam. Anything else is a loss.

Osamu agrees. He understands Utomiya’s feelings. But the first-year students should work together. Utomiya turns around. He asks Hosen not to want more. Hosen leaves the classroom.

In Classroom 2-D, Hasebe offers to go to Yukimura’s room together. Yukimura agrees. But it’s not having fun. It’s a study group. Kushida tells Ayanokouji that there’s a first-year student wanting to see him. She wants to know if it’s not really convenient for him. Hasebe teases Ayanokouji that the junior wants to confess her feelings to him. Airi is shocked. She asks Kushida if what Hasebe said was true. Hasebe cannot let the guy go if it’s true. Kushida tells Ayanokouji that the one who asked for a meeting up was a boy. Hasebe thinks it’s fine. They will get benefits from it if Ayanokouji talks to the first-year student first. Yukimura agrees with what Hasebe said. He mentions their team isn’t good at managing interpersonal relationships.

In the hallway, Kushida asks Ayanokouji to wait for the boy. Because the boy is going to come. He asks her if she got to know the first-year students. She reminds him that it’s already July. She thinks he had plenty of time to know people. She believes that he made some friends of the first-year. But he says that he has zero friend. She tells him that he doesn’t have to be in a hurry.

Yagami shows up. He calls Kushida. Kushida introduces Yagami to Ayanokouji. Yagami bows to Ayanokouji. He thanks him for making time to meet him. Ayanokouji remembers Yagami is a student of Class 1-B.

At the cafe, Yagami reports to Ayanokouji that there’s a special exam that only a very small number of people know in the first-year. He thinks he has known it. Kushida doesn’t understand what the two are saying. Yagami asks Ayanokouji if he can speak it out. Ayanokouji thinks he doesn’t have the right to stop Yagami. The thing began with the first-year students enrolling. They received a notice from Nagumo. He would pay the student 20 million points if he could force Ayanokouji to drop out.

Kushida is surprised that Nagumo wanted Ayanokouji to drop out. She thinks 20 million points are a large sum of money. She wonders if the school recognized such things. Yagami realizes that it’s an unusual special exam. He’s not interested in framing someone to get payment. So he doesn’t want to take part in. Kushida doesn’t understand why the person is Ayanokouji. Nagumo said that he randomly selected the student from the second-year students. But it’s not the special exam that the school recognized. She asks Yagami if they didn’t think it was unreasonable.

Yagami reveals Tsukishiro was there to witness when Nagumo told them. He thinks they shouldn’t be blamed for accepting the special exam. There were six first-year students accepting the exam. Yagami tells the names to Ayanokouji. He heard that Hosen took the initiative. But Hosen failed. He even used highly irregular means. Ayanokouji doesn’t deny it when he takes a look at his injured hand.

Yagami worries that Ayanokouji will get Kushida involved. Ayanokouji thanks Yagami for telling it to him. But he thinks he will be in danger. Kushida asks Yagami if he’s fine. He comforts her that Nagumo didn’t mention any punishment. He’s mentally prepared that he will be hated by the first-year students. After all, he and other classes compete with each other. He asks Ayanokouji to be careful. Ayanokouji wants to know who he should pay attention to. Yagami thinks the person is Hosen if he thinks logically. But he wants to nominate someone else. He gives up the mind. He chooses not to leak.

It promotes Kushida to be interested in the person. If Yagami speaks out the name of the person, Kushida and Ayanokouji will lock onto the person. He thinks it’s unfair. He cannot be sure as well. He plans to test if the person is a dangerous person in the next Deserted Island exam. He will be careful. He has something to tell Kushida after the exam. She gets his point even if she doesn’t know what he’s going to say.

Yagami leaves the cafe. Ayanokouji tells Kushida that she has a good junior. She thinks the boy is good enough that she doesn’t deserve to be his senior. But it’s not the relationship that she wants to get. Because Yagami knows her past. She plans to get rid of him. Ayanokouji reminds Kushida that it will be more harder to get rid of the junior than getting rid of him and Horikita. But she thinks it should depend on the approach. She mentions he and Horikita are outstanding. He reminds her that she signed a ceasefire agreement with them. She says that she’s very well-behaved.

Ayanokouji walks out of the cafe. Utomiya and Tsubaki are waiting for Ayanokouji. Utomiya wants to talk to Ayanokouji about Hosen. He thinks he has known that the guy doesn’t fit in. They plan to give the guy a lesson in the exam. Hosen doesn’t have too many points. If they can make the guy abstain early in the exam, he cannot pay the punishment.

Ayanokouji learns that Utomiya wants him to force Hosen to drop out. He wants to know his reason. Utomiya reveals the student Hatano was forced to drop out. He thinks it was related to Hosen. He admits that he has a personal grudge. But the important thing is that they should avoid more students are dropping out. Tsubaki agrees with what Utomiya said. She says that the class points were deducted 100 because of it.

Ayanokouji doesn’t understand why it’s related to him. Utomiya mentions Hosen never hung out with others. But he teamed up with Ayanokouji in the exam at the end of April. Ayanokouji learns that Utomiya thinks there’s a chance. Utomiya begs Ayanokouji to help him. But Ayanokouji doesn’t know the exam content. He cannot agree.

Utomiya asks Ayanokouji to get Hosen to fail at the start of the exam. He will pay corresponding payment. Ayanokouji asks Utomiya if he thought about it that he was Hosen’s accomplice. Tsubaki notices the injury on his left hand. She guesses he was hurt when he fought Hosen. He asks her why she thinks so. She confesses it to him that they’re interested in the bounty as well. He figures it out that the two pretended to look for a partner. They wanted to approach him. But they didn’t have a way to make him drop out even if they teamed up.

Utomiya apologizes to Ayanokouji for the case. He tells him that they give up the plan. Everyone in the school will know it even if they make it. Class 2-D will be their enemy. Ayanokouji points out that Utomiya will offend some people if they let Hosen drop out. Utomiya doesn’t think so. He reveals many classmates want Hosen to disappear. He asks Ayanokouji to remember that they only want to beat down Hosen.

At the mall, Ichika meets Hosen. She complains it to him that she doesn’t like his watch. He thinks she doesn’t know the value of the watch. She claims that she doesn’t have time to know the value of the stuff that she dislikes. He asks her to team up with him. She learns that he wants her to help him on the island. She wonders if he’s thinking about something bad. She asks him if he wants to see her pants. She allows him to peek. He threatens her that he will beat her even if she’s a girl. He asks her not to talk nonsense.

She wants to listen to his plan. She asks him why he wants to team up with her. He explains it to her that he does it because she had guts to force Ayanokouji to drop out. She points out that an ordinary person would try her best to defeat the guy since it was about 20 million. She wants to know her payment.

Nanase shows up. She thinks she and Ichika are equal. Ichika realizes that she and Nanase are in the team that Hosen plans. She asks Hosen who’s the other person. He says that they don’t need the person. The winners are only the three of them. She mentions they promised to form a powerful team of four. She thought Class 1-D would send Nanase and Hosen. He claims that the one who makes a judgement is him. She realizes that he plans to let some people be the cannon fodders.

Nanase thinks people won’t dislike it as long as they send the high academic and physical abilities students. Once Hosen joins the strongest team, there will be problems. After all, he doesn’t look like he will work well with others. Nanase won’t give any points to Ichika. Because they’re equal. But Ichika points out that the contribution won’t be equal. She’s confident that she can make a contribution. She guesses the exam requires physical strength. She wonders if the cute Nanase can follow her. She tries to hit her. But Nanase grabs Ichika’s fist.

Ichika learns that Nanase is a tough girl as well. Nanase can tell that Ichika isn’t an ordinary person as well. Ichika agrees to team up with Nanase and Hosen since she has known that Nanase is a good fighter. But she asks for additional rewards. She wants to get the points that let Ayanokouji drop out. It’s the condition that they join forces. She threatens him that nobody trusts him except Nanase. But she can leave the reputation to him that Ayanokouji drops out. Nanase persuades Hosen not to accept the condition. But he tells Ichika that he will give the prize to her. She thinks a generous man is charming. She walks away. Nanase worries that Ichika will betray them. Hosen reveals he never trusts Ichika and Nanase. He joined forces with the girl. Because she didn’t look like a trash. Ichika is like Nanase who’s unfathomable. But Nanase thinks 20 million is out of the ordinary. Hosen says that he has many way to deal with the verbal agreement. As long as the one who forces Ayanokouji to drop out is him, he will get the prize. Ichika cannot do anything even if she cries after the case. Nanase thinks Hosen is a real jerk. He swears to defeat anyone who goes against him. He’s excited to laugh.
