In the evening, Dong-Man goes to the mountain top to yell in We Are All Trying Here episode 2. Eun-A hears his yell while she sleeps in the bed. The next day, the two cops visit Dong-Man. The cop asks Dong-Man who called him. He explains it to him that they received a complaint that someone called him. Dong-Man explains it to the cop that his brother did it.
Eun-A goes to the company. She puts the lunch boxes into the fridge. Ki-Ri meets Dong-Hyeon in Dong-Hyeon’s office. Dong-Hyeon claims that he didn’t beat Dong-Man. He reveals Dong-Man jumped up suddenly. Dong-Man tried to grab Dong-Hyeon’s collar. But he tripped himself. He fell on the table.
Ki-Ri laughs after knowing the truth. Dong-Hyeon thinks the guy could jump across the table. It wasn’t hard. Ki-Ri wonders how Dong-Man was hurt. He heard that he got a cast. Dong-Hyeon guesses Dong-Man fell after he was drunk. He heard that there will be an eight meeting. He thinks it should be called seven meeting. He asks Ki-Ri to tell Yeong-Su that he gave Dong-Man a hard time not to look like a hero. He’s not happy as well. But since the decent people didn’t want to get their hands dirty, he had to be the bad guy. After all, he came from a humble background.
Eun-A puts the script on Dong-Hyeon’s desk. She discovers that Dong-Man tripped because he stepped on the script. She takes the broken script back to her office. She fixes it.
At the Eight Club, Yeong-Su thinks Dong-Hyeon went too far. He complains it to the other members that the guy asked their man to give up. He thinks they would address internal issues. But Gyeong-Se points out that nobody would do that. He thinks Dong-Man must quit the film industry. It doesn’t make sense that the guy continues to stay. Because he cannot make it. He sent 100 messages in the group chat after he was humiliated by Dong-Hyeon. He praised Director Kim’s movie. He knew Gyeong-Se and Director Kim was completing. He knew Gyeong-Se was in the group chat.
Gyeong-Se brings up that his second movie encountered failure. Dong-Man sent a message to him. He asked him to stand tall and buy him a cup of coffee. He pretended to care for him. But Yeong-Su has never had the feelings. Gyeong-Se tells Yeong-Su that nobody is like Dong-Man who went so far. The ordinary person would reflect on himself. But the guy didn’t have bottom line. He didn’t have self-control. Gyeong-Se thinks they should be careful of Dong-Man. But Yeong-Su feels uncomfortable that they’re going to end the friendship. Gyeong-Se persuades Yeong-Su not to feel guilty. He tells other members that they don’t do something bad.
Yeong-Su asks Gyeong-Se if the Eight Club is over in such a way. Gyeong-Se claims that they’re not kids. They don’t need to form a little group to stick together for warmth. He admits that they gathered together when they were young. They don’t need it anymore. Because they can handle things on their own. He claims that he will quit the Eight Club. He asks Hye-Jin to close the store. He cannot stand it that the guy hung out there all day.
Gyeong-Se thinks Jun-Hwan was wrong. Jun-Hwan knew Dong-Man was a real pain in the neck. But he left a bottle of wine for Dong-Man each time. Gyeong-Se heard that Jun-Hwan called and confirmed if Dong-Man had wine to drink. He thinks he felt sorry for Dong-Man instead of him. He asks him if he thought about his feelings when Dong-Man praised someone else’s movie. Jun-Hwan tells Gyeong-Se that he felt sorry for him. But he felt sorry for everyone as well.
Gyeong-Se tells Jun-Hwan that he has absolutely no standards. Jun-Hwan didn’t reject anyone who liked him, even if the person was a girl. Gyeong-Se asks the members not to invite him to the place where Dong-Man is. Ki-Ri notices that Dong-Man is coming. Gyeong-Se wants to go to put an end to it. Jun-Hwan stops Gyeong-Se. He asks him not to choose today. He brings up that Dong-Man was suppressed by Dong-Hyeon.
Yeong-Su claims that he’s going to leave. Gyeong-Se is furious to tell Jun-Hwan that the problem lies with him. Dong-Man gets into the restaurant when Yeong-Su leaves the restaurant. Ki-Ri asks Dong-Man how his arm was hurt. Dong-Man says that his arm was broken. But it will recover. He wants to eat meat. Gyeong-Se claims that they’ve already eaten. Hye-Jin asks the chef to go to cook a steak for Dong-Man.
Dong-Man notices that Gyeong-Se’s forehead was hurt. He guesses it’s a special effects makeup. Gyeong-Se learns that Dong-Man wants to know how he got it. He reveals how he was hurt. He tells him that there’s a person who always tries to undermine others. But Dong-Man keeps getting calls from others. Gyeong-Se gets angry. He wants to beat Dong-Man. He’s stopped by other members.
Outside the restaurant, Gyeong-Se tells the members that Dong-Man did it because he thought he was a cut above the rest. He wanted to crush the guy’s pride. In the restaurant, Dong-Man eats the steak. He’s very happy. Hye-Jin tries to pour him a drink. He stops her. He thinks the wine will break the glass. She comforts him that it’s fine while she completes the pouring. He reveals he was feeling really down. But he felt better after he watched movies all day. He thinks the directors in Korea should reflect on their own actions. They should go to watch their movies and figure out how they really feel. He complains it to her that his watch shows boredom and restlessness.
Dong-Man sees Dong-Hyeon. Dong-Hyeon asks Dong-Man what is the problem with him. Eun-A tells Dong-Man that people revere strength. He expresses that he hates someone else to say something soothing for the soul. He only needs the thing that cheers himself up.
Hye-Jin asks Dong-Man not to think. He only needs to listen to her in the next 3 minutes and 27 seconds. She disallows him to say one word. She admits it to him that the meaning of life lies in cheering herself up. She tried her best to earn money and buy clothes. But he kept ruining her mood. She wished she would show her warm and approachable side when she got along with her friends. But each time she saw him, all that’s left in her heart is bitterness and helplessness. She thinks he knows he cannot communicate well with others.
He remembers he communicated well with Eun-A. He tries to deny it. But Hye-Jin asks him to shut up. She complains it to him that he chattered on and on when he talked. He really annoyed everyone. She plans to live to be 100. So she doesn’t want to cause a lot of anxiety because of him. She will cut ties with him starting today. She opened the store to relax her mind and body. Eating with like-minded people. He cannot come to the place anymore.
Hye-Jin takes Dong-Man out of the restaurant. She says goodbye to him. She asks him to take care of himself. She posts a note on the glass door. She disallows him to get into the restaurant. She returns to the restaurant. She drinks up the wine. She tells the waiter that she’s serious. She asks him to drive Dong-Man out of the restaurant if the guy comes.
The next day, Dong-Man and Jin-Man go to the temple to attend a gathering. Dong-Man’s brother is going to get married. The elder asks Dong-Man to invite the actress to sing at the wedding. But Dong-Man didn’t know any actress. Jin-Man meets the elder. He reminds him that he’s rich because he embezzled the family fortune. He thinks he should thank him and Dong-Man. Because they were kind. Jin-Man and Dong-Man leave the temple. Jin-Man scolds his brother. He thinks he shouldn’t have acted weak. Dong-Man cries. He wonders if he should have said that he didn’t know any of celebrity.
At Choi Film, Dong-Hyeon scolds Eun-A in a meeting after knowing she waited for Actress Song. Hyo-Jin understands Eun-A’s situation. But she thinks she should face it. The girl brings up that Dong-Hyeon admired Eun-A before. Hyo-Jin thinks Eun-A sternly analyzed the script with an objective attitude when she came to the company. It was a breath of fresh air. Dong-Hyeon would look at her with new respect. Eun-A’s style was straightforward and adaptable. She would have an emotional outburst suddenly. But the charming disappeared after one year. It’s like dating. The first year, everything is sparkling. But nothing is special after one year.
In the evening, Eun-A has a nosebleed on the bus. She goes to see a doctor. The doctor tells Eun-A that her body began to react because of stress. She asks her what her mood watch showed when she had a nosebleed. She asks her to recall how she feels at the time. Eun-A says that she wanted to ruin herself.
The next day, Jin-Man passes by Hye-Jin’s restaurant. He sees that note that disallows his brother to get into the restaurant. He gets into the restaurant. Jun-Hwan recognizes Jin-Man. He tells other members that the guy is Dong-Man’s brother. Jin-Man throws a fit to the seven people after knowing those guys bullied his brother. He’s driven out of the restaurant. He’s not allowed to get into the restaurant as well.
Jin-Man returns home. He asks Dong-Man to leave with him. He thinks he was bullied. But Dong-Man claims that he wasn’t bullied. He says that it was just a minor disagreement. Jin-Man tells Dong-Man that those guys admitted that they bullied him. He thinks he should leave the circle if he has pride. He learns that he wasn’t hurt. But he put a cast on.
Dong-Man doesn’t want to make a name for himself. He just wants not to feel anxious. Jin-Man asks Dong-Man to go to look for a woman. He thinks he doesn’t have the courage to grow old alone. He’s a materialist. But he values family.
Jin-Man leaves home. Jun-Hwan waits for Dong-Man outside his house. He calls him. Dong-Man goes out. He’s happy to leave with Jun-Hwan.
At Choi Film, Ki-Ri and Hyo-Jin are very happy after Hye-Jin helped them take care of Dong-Man and his brother. Eun-A asks the two why they think Dong-Man is hard to get alone with. Hye-Jin says that the guy is incompetent. It’s fine that he’s incompetent. But he uses chattering on and on to cover up his incompetence. Eun-A asks Hye-Jin what does “incompetence” mean? Hye-Jin mentions Eun-A is a chef but she cannot cook. Eun-A thinks Hye-Jin is a human. But she lacks humanity. She thinks she’s utterly incompetent. Ki-Ri laughs after knowing Eun-A thought Dong-Man had a human side.
Dong-Man and Jun-Hwan eat at a restaurant. Dong-Man reveals he wanted to take revenge on Dong-Hyeon. He loses motivation after he was full. He thinks he should be hungry so that he will be rapid like a stray dog.
Outside the restaurant, Jun-Hwan asks Dong-Man about his arm. Dong-Man says that Dong-Hyeon called him. He was excited to run to the company. Because Eun-A read his script. But Dong-Hyeon said something to hurt Dong-Man.
Dong-Man and Jun-Hwan walk on the street in the evening. Dong-Man doesn’t blame Eun-A. Because he let her read his script when Dong-Hyeon caught her. Jun-Hwan thinks the girl would tear Dong-Man to shreds if she was still in her prime. She was amazing that she analyzed the script without any bad intention. Her harsh criticism made him be moved to tear up. It was sharp and got straight to the point. It made him want to use his remaining brain cells.
But Dong-Man prefers the current Eun-A. He thinks she was too assertive. It made people feel uncomfortable. But she was changed suddenly. He wonders if she’s sick. Jun-Hwan doesn’t know about it. He reveals the girl didn’t get along well with the colleagues. All the directors skipped Dong-Hyeon and Hyo-Jin. They sent the scripts to Eun-A. Letting her review it. It might have offended the two.
Dong-Man runs into Eun-A. He asks her how can people acquire skills? He mentions the dog hunts for prey at the foot of the mountain. He goes to look for his skills. But he fails. He goes home after he ate a lot of meat. He guesses she might know where she can buy skills. He wants to buy some skills. She tells him that she realized that he didn’t love anyone when she read his script.
Gyeong-Se drinks at home. He thinks Dong-Man and him aren’t in the same league. But Hye-Jin thinks the guy is. She mentions Dong-Man didn’t make any movies. But he did it. Gyeong-Se thinks Dong-Man will never make any movies. Hye-Jin wants to help Dong-Man debut. She persuades her husband to be nice to Dong-Man. She thinks he would be like the guy if he didn’t debut. She asks him to prove himself if he thinks he’s different from Dong-Man.

The next day, Eun-A goes out. She tells herself that she can defeat Dong-Hyeon and Hyo-Jin. Dong-Man visits Dong-Hyeon. He asks him to wait for his glamorous stories. Dong-Hyeon tries to say something to Dong-Man. But Dong-Man refuses to talk to the guy. Because he’s very busy. He leaves his company. Eun-A laughs. Dong-Hyeon scolds the girl.
Outside Choi Film, Dong-Man tells Jun-Hwan that he fell for himself. Eun-A runs into Dong-Man on the street. She gives the side dish to him. She reveals it was cooked by her grandma. He notices that she wears the same watch as him. He takes over the side dish from her. He thanks her. He makes sure that she walked away. He holds the side dish to dance.
