In-A and Ki-Jun have a kiss in the art classroom in Filing for Love episode 5. She runs out of the classroom. At the convenience store, In-A puts her head into the freezer. She tells Ri-Na that her heart is beating so fast. She throws a selection of wines on the desk. Ri-Na reminds the lady that she will die if she drinks so much. In-A says that she intends to do that. Ri-Na guesses something bad happened. In-A isn’t sure.
A Heart That Aches Faintly

Ki-Jun takes a shower in the bathroom at home. A-Jeong knocks at the door outside the bathroom. She asks him if he’s alive. He remembers he kissed In-A. He walks out of the bathroom. A-Jeong is eating noodles. She tells Ki-Jun that he will be dehydrated. She wants to drink beer when he opens the fridge. He gives a can of beer to her. She notices that he blushes. She mistakes that he has a fever. She touches his forehead. He doesn’t have a fever. She thinks she shouldn’t have flirted with him. She doesn’t want him to fall for her.
He asks her if it’s possible that he loves the person he has known for a long time. She wonders if he falls for her. He says that it’s possible when he’s hit by lightning. She tells him that it’s possible if he has a chance to know the person again. Or he has actually fallen for the person. The feelings he has built up for her will burst out. It’s like lava.
The next day at the nursing home, Jae-Yeol tells his mother that the people aren’t tormenting her. They want to help her. If she refuses to take medicine and cause a disturbance, they will send her back to the Psychiatric Ward. He gets a call from his father Mu-Tae. Mu-Tae asks Jae-Yeol where he is. Jae-Yeol tells a lie to his father that he’s working out. But Mu-Tae doesn’t believe that his son would have a lot of free time. He mentions he spent so much money to hire an idiot. He should have used him well since he hired him. He doesn’t understand why he caused trouble. He threatens him that he will collapse like his mother if he cannot handle it well.
Jae-Yeol calls A-Jeong. He asks her to contain In-A in her senior management report. She points out that Audit Team is in charge of overseeing senior management. So In-A isn’t included. A-Jeong promises her boss that she will oversee In-A in person.
She runs into In-A at the elevator. She gets in the elevator. She joins her. She brings up that she didn’t came to attend the team gathering. She thinks it’s a shame. In-A laughs. She wishes she will have a second chance. A-Jeong offers to have a drink together. But In-A doesn’t think A-Jeong will have fun to drink with her. They don’t have common points. A-Jeong tells the lady that they might have unexpectedly common points.
In-A arrives at the office. Ki-Jun is waiting for her. He offers to drink a cup of coffee together. They need to talk. She skips the coffee. She asks him to go to the interview room with her. The two enter the interview room. In-A apologizes to Ki-Jun for what happened yesterday. She thinks she did a thing that she should do as a boss. If he wants to sue her, he can do it. She will admit it and accept all consequences. He tells her that she mistakes it. The one who kissed her was him. He thinks she’s using her power to put pressure on him. She doesn’t understand why he wants to outdo her.
If she kissed him first, why she wanted to kiss him. She explains it to him that she was captivated by the art. She tells him that he’s a great artist. His work was too beautiful. She mentions it played calm music at that time. There was a certain magic at the moment and atmosphere. It was enchanting. She says that it’s backed by scientific evidence. Outstanding works of art will stimulate dopamine release. Making people excited, rapid pulse and breathing. It’s as if she’s under a spell.
He doesn’t believe that he drew so well. Because he’s not Michelangelo. She calls him Michelangelo immediately. He’s surprised that she made an excuse that she was captivated by the art.

She’s the Purchaser who controls the power. Sung-Tae points out that the girl appeared at Min-Woo’s wedding without a reason. She caused a big commotion. Min-Woo says that he was confused and flustered. He wouldn’t invite the girl if there’s something going on between them.
He thinks it’s unfair. He calls Sung-Tae and Ki-Jun brothers. Ki-Jun points out that they’re not Min-Woo’s brothers. He asks Min-Woo to sit well. They’re not kidding. Min-Woo brings up that he can enjoy the Newlywed Life after he experienced the wedding nightmare. But Ki-Jun believes that there’s a reason behind it. He asks Min-Woo if he let the girl misunderstood there was something going on between them. Min-Woo admits that he has his own Sales Strategy. He’s a person who makes a living selling lipstick. Most of the buyers are females. When a man and a woman work together, it’s inevitable that they will trigger a chemical reaction. He would use the point to make a deal.
Sung-Tae realizes that the guy sold his looks to achieve his goal. Min-Woo denies it. He says that he just flirted with those girls. He stopped when the girl had feelings. He remained polite. What he did is to make the girl feel good. Creating a sense of excitement and tension. He used those girls’ feelings without overstepping the line. They usually know the situation well. They would cooperate. He thinks Yoon-Ha is a bit paranoid.
Yoon-Ha tells Sung-Tae and Ki-Jun that she and Min-Woo are dating. They have a special bond. She was confused in the beginning. She thought the guy was nice to her to boost sales. But he visited her with the porridge and medicine in the middle of the night after she said that she wasn’t feeling well. She thinks it’s the thing that he would do when he truly cares about someone.
He admits it. But he points out that she said that she was very ill when he wanted her to pay. He thinks he had no choice but to make her feel comfortable. He went to nearby pharmacy. He bought all the most effective medications. She liked to be taken care of very well. She paid the next day.
She accepted his dating invitation. They watched a movie and had a dinner together. It’s like a weekend date. He realizes that she thought it was a date. He was bored on the weekend. She kept complaining. So he gave the movie ticket his company provided to her. She said that she was only free on Saturday when she got the ticket. He thinks she needs to work overtime on weekend.
She reveals he kept saying that she was cute and pretty. When she got food on her face, he would wipe her mouth for her. She wonders if it’s his job responsibilities. He would send the messages of good morning and good night to her. He never stopped. She thinks it means something.
Sung-Tae tells Yoon-Ha that they checked Min-Woo’s cell phone. The messages he sent to the clients are the same. Ki-Jun asks the girl if she has more specific events that can prove her and Min-Woo’s relationship. She says that they had a kiss. Min-Woo claims that he’s a person who never oversteps the line. Physical contact? It’s impossible. He never kissed Yoon-Ha.
In-A meets Ki-Jun in the office. She asks him why he stopped the investigation. He summons the clients to question. But he didn’t complete the report. He thinks it’s the two’s personal affairs. They have different perspectives on the same matter. He thinks they cannot investigate it objectively. The truth between the two of them doesn’t belong exclusively to either side. It lies in the zone where the two meet. She asks him to go to investigate the borderland. It’s obvious that the two disagree on something. Yoon-Ha said that they had a kiss. But Min-Woo said that they didn’t. She thinks it’s the point. He gets her point that a kiss is so important. He thought an apology could resolve everything after a kiss.
Ki-Jun takes In-A to a bar. He tells her that Yoon-Ha and Min-Woo had a kiss there after the dinner. She asks him to describe what happened at the time. He says that the two left after they had a few drinks upstairs. Yoon-Ha isn’t a good drinker so that she was drunk. She couldn’t walk. She leaned against Min-Woo. He helped her stand up straight. Ki-Jun tries to kiss In-A. She pushes him away. She thinks he doesn’t have to act the whole thing. He mentions she asked him to describe in detail. He thinks she’s inconsistent herself. She notices the CCTV. She offers to go to take the footage. But the CCTV is fake. Because there’s no wires and flashing lights. She praises him. She hits his arm.
Jae-Yeol plays golf with his friend at the golf club. A-Jeong reports to him that Sung-Yeol called. He asks her to tell the guy that he will call him back. She walks away. Jae-Yeol’s friend thinks A-Jeong is pretty. He asks Jae-Yeol if he can be focused. He knows he needs to talk to someone. His marriage is just a deal.
Ki-Jun and In-A go back to the car after they got the footage from the Roast Chicken stall owner. Someone calls In-A. But she tells him that he dialed the wrong number. She and Ki-Jun watch the footage. He finds out that the two had a kiss.
Jae-Yeol walks of the golf club. A-Jeong reports to him that Director Choi left because his second son was hurt. She volunteers to drive the car. But he wants to drive it all his own. She tries to leave. He stops her. He asks her where she moved to. He drives her to her house. He tells her that Director Choi will take care of his personal affairs. He wishes she can focus on work-related matters. She laughs. She thinks he doesn’t have to do so. She reveals she’s living with a man. The man is a good person. He doesn’t have to worry about it. She won’t be persistent.
A-Jeong sees Ki-Jun. She gets off the car. She runs to him. She takes his arm. She tells him that she just used him. He asks her if it’s because of the man. She says that it’s a secret. She wants to buy him a dinner. He doesn’t understand why everyone has secrets. It promotes her to wonder who has secrets. He claims that it’s his secrets.
The next day at Haemu Group, Yoon-Ha thinks it can confirm her and Min-Woo’s relationship. The kiss means that they’re dating. She asks Ki-Jun and Sung-Tae if they would kiss the girl who they’re dating. She wonders if she’s an old-fashioned person. She thinks the guy should take duty since he kissed her. But Min-Woo said that it was nothing for him. Yoon-Ha kept flirting with him. So they did it when they were drunk. Yoon-Ha laughs. She says that she knows it since she’s at the age. A momentary lapse and emotional connection. She can tell the difference clearly.
Ki-Jun agrees with what Yoon-Ha said. He knows they’re different. She mentions Min-Woo forgets the kiss. She wonders if he loses his memory. But he points out that not all the people who have kissed are dating. Kiss is just a kind of way to greet people in some countries. He thinks he doesn’t have to marry the girl just because he kissed her.
At the restaurant, Audit Team has a team gathering again. Gwang-Il thinks they kiss because they’re dating. He mentions their ancestors married the people who they talked to. Da-Ye points out that they’re living in the era that sleep together first, then go on a date. But Hae-Young says that kiss is more emotional than sleeping with someone. Sung-Tae believes that everyone will make mistakes when he’s drunk. He thinks physical contact isn’t dating. Hyun-Kyu minds it that Min-Woo lied. It proves that their kiss is of great significance. He could admit it if he was with a clear conscience. Ki-Jun agrees with Hyun-Kyu said. He thinks the truth hides in the lies.
In-A shows up. Gwang-Il asks Ki-Jun to comfort In-A. He gets In-A to sit with Ki-Jun. Ki-Jun pours In-A a drink. She asks the colleagues what they were talking about. Hae-Young asks In-A if kiss means dating. In-A realizes that those guys were talking about Min-Woo’s case. She offers to talk about something else. But Ki-Jun says that the fun is just beginning.
The people walk out of the restaurant after the gathering. Gwang-Il tells In-A that everyone likes her and respects her. Hyun-Kyu praises In-A. He asks Ki-Jun to be nice to the boss. Gwang-Il asks Ki-Jun to call a cab for In-A.
The colleagues leave. In-A guesses those guys mistook that she hated Ki-Jun. The teammates are good people. Ki-Jun learns that In-A doesn’t dislike him. He joins her in the taxi. He tells her that he wants to take her home. Because it’s too late. He asks her if the kiss means nothing to her. She tells him not to think too much. It was an accident. He asks her if she wants to pretend nothing happened. She reminds him that he’s acting like a teenager who just experienced first kiss. He points out that he asked her about it because it was his first kiss. She asks him if he wants to date her. He offers to get to the bottom of it. She asks him if he wants to sleep with her. She gets the driver to stop the taxi.
Ki-Jun stops In-A on the street. He promises her that he will pretend nothing happened. He asks her why she used a passionate kiss to have him completely smitten, and she pushed him away. He thinks she doesn’t like him that much. Or it’s because she’s his boss. He asks her if she has another man.
In-A’s father shows up. He guesses she changed her number. But she tells him that he’s not her father. He apologizes to her for abandoning her. She threatens him that she will call the police if he visits her again. She tries to walk away. But he passes out.
Min-Woo runs into Yoon-Ha on the street. He bumps her. But he finds out that his wife is kissing another man. He’s furious to beat the man. The three are taken to the police station. The man claims that the kiss means nothing. Min-Woo kicks the man.
In-A’s father is taken to the hospital. The doctor reveals the old man has a brain tumor. In-A admits it to the doctor that she’s the old man’s daughter. He feels relieved after knowing someone can pay the medical expenses. She remembers the old man has a wife and a son. He says that he couldn’t reach any family of the patient.
In-A walks out of the hospital. Ki-Jun is waiting for her. They go to a bar. He tells her that he’s not close to his father as well. His father passed away before he was born. But his childhood was very happy. She reveals her father was a married man when she saw him.

It flashes back. In-A and her mother come to the city to see her father. But his father doesn’t welcome them. Her mother becomes a life model. In-A cannot understand it. She leaves home. Her mother has a car accident when she’s on the way to look for her. She passes away. In-A becomes a life model since then.
At present, In-A tells Ki-Jun that she never forgave her mother and her presence. He cries. He tells her that it’s heart broken. He guesses she was lonely. He holds her face. He knows she pretended to be tough. He passes out. She manages to carry him home. But she sees a woman A-Jeong.
