Fort Worth August, 1981. The guy drives Beulah and the girls to the place in Dutton Ranch episode 7. Beulah gives the guy Mariano a kiss. She gets in the bar with the girls. They have fun. Mariano stares at Beulah when he’s drinking. The waitress suggests that he should drink something more bite. He rejects it. He says that he’s working. She pours him a drink. She walks away.
Den of Sin
A handsome guy walks to Beulah and the girls. He flatters them that they’re angels. Beulah asks him where he sees wings around. He invites her to dance with him. But she wants to know his name first. His name is Luke. She doesn’t tell her name to him. She asks him to call her Angel. She guesses he works around there. He claims that he’s a mechanic for the Shock Wave at Six Flags. They step onto the dance floor. He teaches her to dance.
Mariano still watches Beulah. The waitress comes back. She thinks it’s a strange work. He reveals he’s with 10-Petal. He’s top hand. He’s babysitting his boss’s daughter. She takes a look at Beulah. She laughs. She thinks his boss’s daughter is handful. He takes Beulah’s side. He says that she’s still young.
Beulah tells Luke that she’s just a ranch girl. The waitress gives a bottle of beer to Mariano. She asks him if someone is waiting for him at home. He says that he has wife and son, Joaquin. She tells him that Luke gave her a crisp twenty to deliver the bucket of beers and talk him up. She cannot game a married man. She thinks he will catch the guy if he hurries up.
Mariano notices that Beulah is missing. He asks Beulah’s friend who’s dancing, where is Beulah? Her name is Linda. She looks around when she says that Beulah were there. He tells her that she doesn’t know. He asks Beulah’s another friend where Beulah is. She doesn’t know it either. He walks out of the bar. He sees Beulah in the car. He tails the car. He finds her at the motel. She takes a boot. She tells him that she cannot find her other boot. He promises her that he will get her another pair. She asks him if he sees her get thrown off that mechanical bull. She asks him to tell it to her father.
At present, Beulah walks out of her house. Miguel tells her that she’s pretty. She’s happy to tell him that it’s the point. She gets in the car.
Beulah arrives at the ranch. She finds out that the guys dressed up for her. But she points out that one of them drinks too much and makes a terrible mess of things every anniversary. She decides to step up an open tab at the Split Heart even if she knows it will break their hearts. She asks them to get dressed and go to the place with her.
At Rip’s house, Beth stares at her husband when he’s getting dressed. She gives him a kiss. She asks him a favor. She takes out a suit from the closet. She asks him to wear it when he thinks it’s not a good idea.
At Beulah’s house, Beulah scolds the servants for not placing the flowers. She goes to the kitchen. She teaches the maid how to cut the oranges with the right knife. She walks out of the house. She looks at the people who work in the yard. Oreana Lynn shows up behind Beulah. She wants to help her grandma. Beulah turns around. She finds out that her granddaughter wears a beautiful skirt. Oreana Lynn expresses that she knows how important tonight is for Beulah. Beulah notices Oreana Lynn’s lipstick. She loves it. She feels regret that her father couldn’t come. She gives her forehead a kiss.
At Dutton Ranch, Rip drinks with Carter. They think they’re like too fools. Rip invites his son to come to 10-Petal. He asks him about the school. Carter thanks Rip for giving him a place to live, looking after him. Rip tells Carter that he doesn’t have to thank him. He asks him to have fun tonight. Beth walks out of the house. Rip tells his wife that she’s gorgeous. She talks back that she’s not as sharp as him and Carter. She doesn’t let Carter drive. She has a better idea.
Beth, Rip and Carter ride horses. Carter wonders if those guys got a chuckwagon. Beth doesn’t think so. She asks Rip to give her two hours. They will Irish goodbye it and they ride home.
Joaquin shows up in Beulah’s study. Beulah thinks his hat is nice. She notices his wounded hand. She thinks he shouldn’t have bled for the ranch. She complains it to him that she has been working on the speech all night. She hates it. She tells him that she has written so many of these. The words never right until she’s standing in front of everyone. But he thinks it’s different. It’s her last. He feels incredibly grateful to be following in her footsteps. She tells him that his father would be proud.
Beth, Rip and Carter arrive at Beulah’s house. Beulah welcomes the three. She thinks they came the old fashioned way. Beth says that it’s the only way. She shakes hands with Beulah. Beulah notices the present in Beth’s hand. But Beth wants to save the surprise. Beulah asks Carter to go to the patio. Oreana Lynn is waiting for him. He leaves. Beulah tells Rip that he looks sharp to cut glass. He likes her suit.
Carter finds Oreana Lynn on the patio. But she’s with the guy. He tells her that she wouldn’t have graduated if it wasn’t for him. She admits that the class nearly killed her. She would die if he didn’t let her get his notes. He thinks it was a fair trade. She’s furious to push him. The guy Harrison Williams sees Carter. He shakes hands with him. Oreana Lynn introduces Carter as her friend to Harrison. She asks Carter to go to get himself a drink.
Carter goes to take drink. He tells Wade that he wants to beat Harrison. Wade says that there’s an upstairs and a downstairs to the party like this. Tonight, Oreana Lynn and Harrison are upstairs. Carter is in the basement. Wade is on the elevator going up.
In the evening, Beulah laughs when she looks at the guests. She sees Everett. She joins him and Beth. Everett tells Beulah that that he and Beth were talking about she had a good meeting. He thinks she and Beth are good partners. Joaquin walks to Rip. He thanks him when he shows him his wounded hand. He reveals Chet was a drifter when he came to the ranch. He didn’t have a family. But Rip doesn’t want to talk to Joaquin. He walks away.
Beulah walks to Zane. She’s happy that he came to her party. He says that it’s impressive. Everett joins Carter. He tells him that it’s fine to stand in the middle of a fancy party with a drink in his hand. He believes that someone will come to talk to him. He asks him if he’s fine. Cater says that he can hold up. Everett teaches the boy that if he has had enough, he can walk away and find a quiet place. Everett walks to Beulah. He puts his arm around her.
At the bar, the waitress recognizes Zachariah’s Texas correctional ink. He tells her that the ink cannot hold a candle to her ink. He guesses it was a pretty penny. There’s a fight. Zachariah joins the fight. He punches a guy.
At the party, Beth takes Rip to walk to Beulah and Zane. She introduces her husband to Zane. Zane is happy that he can do business with Rip. But Rip says that it’s his wife’s business. Beth gives a present to Zane. He holds the present. He thinks it’s beautiful. But she tells him that it’s bribe. Rip thinks the saddles are fancy. Beulah offers to break those in. They can go on a tour of the entire ranch. She will take him tomorrow.
At the bar, Austin is furious to express that 10-Petal falls. He brings up that Chet is missing. But he’s asked to shut up. Oreana Lynn takes Beulah to the room. Beulah sees her son Rob-Will. She asks him why he’s there. He says that he cannot miss the 190th. She realizes that Oreana Lynn knew it. Oreana Lynn tells her grandpa that she wanted to save the surprise.
Rob-Will asks his daughter to go to take care of the guests. He needs something to resolve it. She leaves the room. Beulah has a seat. Rob-Will reads her letter. He mentions she plans to let Joaquin get the ranch. He brings up that his grandpa let him watch how he killed the rival in the office. He tells her that the ranch is his legacy. She complains it to him that she has given him a lot of chances. He threatens her that he will kill Joaquin if she don’t. He tells her that he’s a killer who’s like her father.
But she says that she hates her father. The guy was a miserable man. She tells Rob-Will that she prayed to God that he and Joaquin would be happier than her father. But he knows she doesn’t believe in God like him. The only God she can see is in her heart. He swears he won’t let Joaquin get the ranch.
At the party, Oreana Lynn joins Carter. She asks him if he had fun. She thinks these parties can be weird. He asks her about the college boy. He asks her if the guy went fishing with her as well. Shoot bottles? She tells him that it’s not his business even if she did it. He guesses the guy’s father’s money turns her on. She tells him that Harrison is a bull. She mentions he walks around with the wound. She provokes him that he shouldn’t be a steer if he wants to get her. She reveals she slept with Harrison as well.
Beulah walks out her house. She sees her son acting like a king. Rob-Will knows Rip is the top cattleman who his mother hired. It’s The Yellowstone. He tells him that he’s an addict. It’s a terrible disease. He’s trying to make amends.
Beulah walks to the stage. She gives a speech. She announces that she’s going to give the ranch to Rob-Will. Joaquin is furious to leave the party after he heard Beulah’s words. Rob-Will is confident as a winner. But Joaquin knows his mother will call him after Rob-Will fails. Rob-Will brings up that Chet is missing. Joaquin tells Rob-Will that he won’t give him the second chance. He drives away.
Back to the party, Zane is surprised that Beulah decided to retire. She reminds him that she’s a ranch girl. Beth and Rip are the brains behind the operation. He brings up that she let him trust her. What he sells is her story. She tells him that he will like her son. But he knows her son is a drug addict.
Carter takes a bull’s head out of the house. He throws the head on the ground. Beulah faints from anger. Everett calls the hospital.

It flashes back. Beulah sits on the floor in his room. Mariano knocks at the door. He tells her that her father wants her downstairs for his speech. He’s waiting. But she doesn’t want to listen to the speech. He comforts her that it will be fine. He sees the medicine on the table. She asks him to drive her somewhere.
He drives her to the house. She thinks the guy should know he will be a father. She gets in the house. She shoots the guy. Mariano sees what Beulah did. He runs to the house when she comes out with a gun. She tells him that she found her other boot.
