On the street, Namgung Ho asks Mi-Do to marry him in A Love Other Than Yours episode 3. She returns home, and she takes a bath. She sees the Slam Dunk Manga on the shelf. She wonders if she broke up with him, how many chapters in her life would follow him to disappear. If she loses those parts, can she live well? Or without him, can she continue to live?
Namgung Ho takes out the ring from the fridge. He remembers he found it from the trash station. He met Mi-Do for the first time. She didn’t like him at all.
The next day, Namgung Ho makes corn on the cob in the lab. He lets Sang-Hoon taste it. Sang-Hoon asks Namgung Ho why did he make it?
At Sook-Hee’s house, Namgung Ho and Mi-Do’s family are going to hold a memorial service for Mi-Do’s father. Sang-Soo complains that his aunt doesn’t come. Mi-Do shows up. Namgung Ho announces that he and Mi-Do decided to get married.
Namgung Ho, Wan-Do and Young-Do go fishing by the lake. Wan-Do brings up that a dog attacked Mi-Do when he was three years old. Young-Do tells Namgung Ho that it’s all his fault. He made Wan-Do fall from the ladder when he was five years old. He has been weird since then. Wan-Do says he heard that Mi-Do screamed. Namgung Ho gave him to Young-Do. He rushed toward Mi-Do. Young-Do regrets that he didn’t let Mi-Do be bitten. He says he was kidding. Wan-Do tells Namgung Ho that he knew he and Mi-Do would get married.
He figures he fell for her at that time. Namgung Ho reminds Wan-Do that he was only ten years old. Wan-Do and Young-Do eat the noodles. Namgung Ho isn’t sure if it was love. But he wanted to protect Mi-Do. From the moment he saw her, he knew something would happen to them. Wan-Do asks Namgung Ho did he fall for Mi-Do when he was seven years old? Namgung Ho asks Wan-Do to eat his noodles.
Young-Do gets a call from his wife Moon-Young. She says she has a special lecture. He mentions she only sees her son twice each month. He asks her does she feel guilty for her son? She says she does it. This is why she called him. Or she was sick to call him? He says he feels honored and gets angry. She’s surprised that he doesn’t overcome Paranoia. She asks him to do himself a favor, cure it before he’s fifty years old.
Wan-Do thinks he did it right that he didn’t take Sang-Soo. Young-Do and Moon-Young wouldn’t fight if Sang-Soo is here.
At Sook-Hee’s hair salon, Mi-Do worries that she will die before Namgung Ho. Sook-Hee hits Mi-Do. She thinks she shouldn’t say something bad before she gets married. Mi-Do says they don’t know what will happen. Sook-Hee didn’t know Mi-Do’s father would leave so early. Mi-Do asks Sook-Hee to give the house to Namgung Ho if she dies before the guy. If Sook-Hee doesn’t do that, Mi-Do won’t forgive her even if she becomes a ghost.
Sook-Hee yells at Mi-Do. She tells her that everything will belong to Namgung Ho even if she’s alive. So she doesn’t have to worry about it. Mi-Do goes against it. She thinks she deserves the house since she’s alive. She will share it with Namgung Ho. She asks Sook-Hee to give it to her. Sook-Hee complains that the only one who would take care of her is Namgung Ho even if she has three children. Every summer, he would come to replace the screen on the window. He would buy Insulated Cover in winter. So the water pipes wouldn’t freeze. He would clean the air conditioner regularly and check the water heater.
Sook-Hee asks Mi-Do did she talk about the case with Namgung Ho? Mi-Do asks her mother not to mention it with Namgung Ho. She glares at her. She says they’re the guy’s only family to him.
Mi-Do sleeps in her bedroom. She sees Namgung Ho. He tells her that he just arrived. He mentions she couldn’t sleep. She explains it to him that she just took a nap. He tells her that he knows she wants to stay alone on the anniversary of her father’s death. So he pretends he knows nothing. But from this year, he wants to accompany her.
She lets him join her in the cover. He hugs her. He suggests that she should go to see a doctor. She says she will go if she’s so on weekend. She promises him. She tells him that she wants to find back the feelings for him. She wishes he will have feelings for her again. He strokes her face, and he kisses her. They try to sleep together. But Ho-Sik calls him.
The next day at the company, Namgung Ho tells Ho-Sik that he will report it to him after he meets the client. He texts Mi-Do. He tells her that he took care of the work. He offers to go on a trip after the work has come to a close. They can go to warm Hawaii.
Su-A arrives at the office. Ho-Sik introduces her to the colleagues. She will work in their team. Namgung Ho meets Su-A at a restaurant. He thought he has taken a stand. He thinks she’s even more of a handful than he imagined. She tells him that the fourth sample would have a different taste because those guys used imported sweet potatoes. That was a mistake. So, from now on, they will be very careful. He figures that’s why she approached him. To find out the exact date.
She asks him to take her when he meets the factory manager. She knows she’s selfish. But he should help her. She will take care of the rest. He refuses to help her. Because it will affect his team.
She follows him out of the restaurant. She persuades him that the product quality will be terrible if they release it. She thinks he knows it very well. But she doesn’t catch the point. Their team won’t arrange any scheduling. Contrary to his appearance, he has a terrible personality. He’s very easy to get angry. The problem is that he’s her boss. Does she understand the situation?
In the evening, Tae-Seung works in his office. He opens the drawer. He sees the photo. He remembers Mi-Do was humiliated at the movie theater.
It flashes back. Tae-Seung follows Mi-Do. It makes her angry. He tells her that he worried about her. He says he lied. He did it because he was curious. She thinks he’s a mad man. He approaches her, and he takes a look at her. He tells her that she has the expression that she feels embarrassed, but she has to hold it back. She says he doesn’t have right to do that to her. He points out that she cannot release that photo. He asks her does she think she can use the photo as her chip? It only works when she can shoulder the consequences. She says she has been mad. So he doesn’t have to provoke her. What if she really causes a scene? He lets her do it. He asks her isn’t she afraid to do it? She takes out the photo. He tries to grab it. But the photo falls. He goes to pick up the photo.
The next day at the cafe, Mi-Do cannot write the script. She closes her laptop. She plays the video game on the street. In the evening, she meets Namgung Ho at a restaurant. She stares at him. He asks her not to do that. He feels very embarrassed. She reminds him that he should take photos of her. He takes photos of her. They have a drink. She says the date reminds her the past. They should continue to date like that. It can add a romantic touch. He offers to date four times per year.
They go to a hotel. He kisses her in the bed. But she pushes him away. She goes to the bathroom. At the hospital, the doctor tells Mi-Do that she has indigestion. Namgung Ho and Mi-Do leave the hospital. He thinks she should go for a health checkup.
The next day, Mi-Do go to the studio on the top floor. She remembers the happy hour of her and Namgung Ho. Su-A works on the farm. She tells Namgung Ho that it’s a workplace bullying. He says she would focus her energy in the wrong place if he doesn’t do so. She says she won’t bring trouble to the team. She asks him to let her take care of the sample scheduling. He complains it to her that she has given him a hard time. He says he’s an ambitious man. He asks her not to let his ambition triumph over his conscience.
Su-A runs into the farm owner’s wife. The farm owner’s wife reveals Namgung Ho is with her husband at the Senior Activity Center. Namgung Ho is having fun when Su-A is busy.
In the studio on the top floor, Mi-Do tries to take the box. But the shelf falls. She’s trapped under the shelf. Tae-Seung calls her.
On the farm, Su-A wakes up on the bench. Namgung Ho tells her that there’s a spider on her head. The spider is poisonous. He takes the spider off her head. He releases the little guy.
Tae-Seung arrives at the studio. Mi-Do asks him to help her remove the shelf. But he wants her to sign the settlement agreement. He thinks it’s better that she dies here. She tells him that there are security cameras at nearby stores. It filmed him before he came in. And she called him. He says he will say that she died when he arrived. She thinks he’s a piece of rotten trash. He reminds her that the light will fall after ten minutes. He asks her to make the decision. She asks him to get lost. She won’t regret it. So he walks away.
On the farm, Su-A gets in the truck to check the GPS. But she sees Namgung Ho. She’s startled. He covers her mouth, and he takes a photo of the GPS. The driver comes back. They hide in the truck, and they’re close.
In the studio, Tae-Seung comes back. He thinks Mi-Do is too stubborn. He provokes her what is her boyfriend going to do if she dies? She cries. She tells him that it’s better to Namgung Ho if she dies. He gave up everything for her. Tae-Seung tells Mi-Do that she won. He moves the shelf aside. He protects her when the light falls. She notices that his hand is bleeding.
In the evening, Namgung Ho has dinner with Su-A at the restaurant. She asks him why was he in the truck? He pretends that he didn’t do that. He asks her did she have a nightmare? She knows he pretended that he didn’t care for it. But he looked into it. She thinks she shouldn’t have asked him. She will take care of it on her own in the future. She asks him not to care for it. She realizes that he won’t give the photo to her. She decides to go back and take a photo again. She apologizes to him for bringing the trouble to him. She tries to leave. But he asks her to sit down.
At the hospital, Tae-Seung refuses to get the shot. Because he’s afraid of needles. Mi-Do mentions those guys said that he will only feel pain when he administers the anesthesia. He says he even hates that moment. He asks the doctor to only help him clean and bandage the wound. He asks for a week’s worth of antibiotics.
Namgung Ho arrives at the studio. He sees the mess. At the hospital, Mi-Do tells Tae-Seung that she won’t settle even if he does so. He guesses she won’t do that. Because she refused to sign it when she was going to die. She asks him why did he reject the treatment? He mentions what he said that he had a fear of shots. She tells him that she doesn’t believe it.
He reveals his fingernails were poked by the dean of the orphanage. She thinks he lied to her. He says yes. She gets a call from Namgung Ho. He asks her was she hurt? She says she wasn’t hurt. The shelf fell suddenly. She hangs up, and she follows Tae-Seung out of the hospital. She wants to pay the medical bill for him. He tells her that he cannot accept her conditions. But he can help her take back her job.
The production company plans to let Director Kim replace her. Director Kim was her senior in the college. He can dig up some dirty on the guy. He can take action immediately as long as she agrees. She rejects it. He guesses she wants to conceal something. She tells him that she rejected it because his methods were too despicable. He tells her that she will break down if she continues to put on a brave face. He asks her is it really that hard to make a compromise this once?

It’s fine that she keeps making a scene.
Mi-Do is on the bus. She remembers Tae-Seung told her that he will help her if she wants to be a director. She takes a look at her ring. Namgung Ho cooks at home. He remembers he and Su-A were close. He thinks the girl isn’t changed. Mi-Do comes home. She hugs Namgung Ho, and she kisses him. They complete the job in the bed. He notices that she stops hiccupping. They receive the messages at the same time.
