Mi-Do works on the set in A Love Other Than Yours episode 2. She cries. Namgung Ho misses Mi-Do at the company. In the evening, Mi-Do and her two brothers are in a van. Wan-Do asks Young-Do did Namgung Ho not pick up his phone as well? Young-Do says this is the best thing for Namgung Ho. Who could possibly put up with Mi-Do? Mi-Do blames Young-Do for looking down on her.
Mi-Do mentions Young-Do wanted to get married. He said he was broke. So she lent him money. But he got a divorce. He talks back that she didn’t buy him a house. It’s just five million won. She’s furious to yell at him. She claims that she gave him her life savings. The value of the five million won is more than five hundred million won. He points out that he paid back the money. She tells him that he should have paid her five hundred million won. Wan-Do stops the two’s fight. Mi-Do says she wants to vomit.
Outside Namgung Ho’s house. Namgung Ho throws Mi-Do’s things into the trash can. But he picks up her letter. She asks him to try hard. He gets angry, and he tries to tear the letter. He gets a call from Wan-Do. Wan-Do tells Namgung Ho that Mi-Do is missing. But Namgung Ho says he has broken up with Mi-Do. He doesn’t want to care for the woman. He plans to go on blind dates.
He runs into the drunk Mi-Do at the elevator. The letter falls on the floor. She sees the letter. He picks it up, and he puts it into his pocket. She asks him is Slam Dunk, Volume 8 at his place? They return to their houses.
The next day, Tae-Seung meets Hae-Na at her house. He tells her that she cannot leak the relationship of her and CEO. He gives a pen to her. She signs the contract. He checks the contact. He says he will take care of Mi-Do’s case. He asks her did she hear it?
Mi-Do cries in the bed. Tae-Seung sends a message to her. He says he heard it from Yeon-Ju that she rejected it. He wants to meet her again, trying to resolve the case. If they go to the court, she will lose money and time. Not mentioning her reputation. Why choose this difficult path?
He finds her at the cafe. He persuades her to sign the settlement agreement. Because she will get money. She asks him is he married? She can tell that he’s not the jerk. She signs it, and she leaves the cafe. He checks her signature. She says he’s over if he dares to run over to find her again.
He chases her out of the cafe. He mentions her mother has a shop. This is why she’s fearless. He says it’s called background check. Her older brother manages a Pipe Cleaning Company. Her younger brother is a swimmer who broke the record. He knows she just broke up with her boyfriend. He guesses it’s because of the case. He thinks the guy is a jerk. He actually distanced himself when his girlfriend fell.
She shows him the recording. She says it’s helpful at the court. She thanks him. He takes over the phone from her. He throws it on the ground. He steps on it. He says he will buy her a new phone. He tells her that they will meet at the court. He asks her to prepare it well. He walks toward his car. She throws a brick at his car. The car window is broken. She asks him to mail the bill to her. She says she wants the latest model of cell phone.
Su-A waits for Namgung Ho at the cold noodles restaurant. But he doesn’t come. She runs into him at the company. She reminds him that they had an appointment. He apologizes to her. But he never said he would go to the appointment. She mentions he wants to know the differences in the taste of the samples. He even went to the sweet potato farm. He admits it. But he’s not young anymore. He’s 35 years old. He must take care of himself well. He wants to work steadily and reliably until he retires.
She tells him that the the sweet potatoes have been replaced with imported ones. He pretends not to hear it. She understands what he means. She approached the wrong person and made unreasonable demands. She apologizes to him. But she tells him that the snack tastes absolutely awful. She’s furious to walk away.
Namgung Ho eats with Sang-Hoon at a restaurant. Sang-Hoon tells Namgung Ho that Ho-Sik’s electronic lock was pried open. Namgung Ho keeps thinking about the electronic lock.
In the evening, Namgung Ho parks his car on the street. He sees Mi-Do’s pillow falling off the Garbage Truck. He picks up the pillow. But the pillow is grabbed by the old lady.
Mi-Do sings at the nightclub. Wan-Do stops the Karaoke Machine. So she cannot sing. He tells her that he thought he should take Namgung Ho’s side. He apologizes to her. He leaves the room. Yeon-Ju tells Mi-Do that those who are unaware would think Namgung Ho gave birth to Wan-Do. Mi-Do says Wan-Do is Namgung Ho’s son. Namgung Ho raised the guy from the age of three. She and Namgung Ho are over. She doesn’t plan to mend their relationship. She doesn’t need Yeon-Ju’s sympathy.
Yeon-Ju claims that she came with the identity of the producer. She wanted to do the final plea, but Mi-Do cannot communicate. Yeon-Ju persuades Mi-Do to make up with Namgung Ho. She leaves. Mi-Do says she won’t do that. Because she doesn’t want to be disliked.
Namgung Ho gets in Mi-Do’s house. He fixes her lock. He sees the mess. He begins to clean the mess. But he makes the mess when Mi-Do comes home. He makes an excuse that she should return the charger to him since they broke up. She takes off her coat, and she puts it on him. She sleeps in the bed. He tucks the blanket around her. She cries and she blames him.
Tae-Seung uses Joo-Hyuk’s phone to contact Hae-Na. But Hae-Na wants to talk to Joo-Hyuk. Tae-Seung rejects it. He thinks she should know her role. She says she won’t let it go.
The next day, Hae-Na bumps Joo-Hyuk’s girlfriend Ms. Jang in the restroom. She puts something into her bag. She calls Tae-Seung, and she tells it to him. She says it’s the photo that she and Joo-Hyuk took at the hotel. He asks her not to do something that she will regret. She wonders if Joo-Hyuk’s dog can clean the mess well. Tae-Seung receives the photo then.
Mi-Do meets Tae-Seung. She thinks he knows the photo has uploaded to the cloud. He’d better not try anything funny. He asks her to explain it to him what happened. She says she has taken photos of Hae-Na over the past three months. She would recognize her even if she wore scarf and hat.
She thought Tae-Seung was the man who Hae-Na dated. She doesn’t expect that the guy is a big role. He asks her what does she want? She asks him to apologize to her first. Her boyfriend isn’t a jerk. He remembers she and her boyfriend broke up. She says the guy doesn’t deserve the wronged. He learns that the guy is her true love. She loves him deeply even if they broke up. He agrees to apologize. But he wants to know what she wants. She tells him that the cover about she quit the crew should be agreed by her. She only gives him one week to prepare it.
At Hunmin Confectionery, Namgung Ho helps Su-A in the meeting. She works in the lab. He tells her that there’re ghosts in the lab. She doesn’t believe it.
In the evening, Namgung Ho and Mi-Do take part in a couple event. They fail because their heart rates. Mi-Do goes to the convenience store to buy beer. She sees the couple. She says she and Namgung Ho were like them. Every moment at that time was incredibly hot. Once upon a time, they had eyes only for each other. Those were the days when their love shone brightest.
In 2019, Namgung Ho works in the lab when it’s raining outside. Mi-Do shows up. It startles him. She’s happy to run into his arms. He asks her about the filming. She says it was cancelled because of the rain. He asks her how did she get in the company? She takes out Ho-Sik’s employee ID card. She says that the guy saw her, and he fled. She explains it to him that there weren’t enough extras so that she wore the costume.
She tries to leave. Because he’s too cold. He drags her into his arms. He doesn’t allow her to startle him suddenly like that in the future. He kisses her. Ho-Sik arrives at the lab. Mi-Do smiles at him. He’s scared to run out of the lab. She worries about him. Namgung Ho says the guy isn’t as fragile as he seems. He lets her taste the chip. She finds out that the chip is delicious. He holds her face. He asks her did she cry? She complains it to him about the Assistant Director.
He wants to go to beat the guy. She stops him. Because she doesn’t want to be embarrassed. He tells her that she’s a fool if she keeps her grievances to herself like that. She should make it clear first even if she wants to resign. It’s not her style to run away like that. He offers to do it together.
The next day on the set, Assistant Director cannot find enough enough extras. Mi-Do shows up. She learns that the guy messed it up again. She comforts him that she doesn’t come to report that he was the one who took down the set, and he let her take the blame. She tells him that he cannot become the real director. She watched his short film. She understands why he did that. A sense of inferiority would truly consume a person. She swears she won’t become someone like that.
Stealing someone’s storyboards and scripts, and the lose herself. Becoming a Living Fossil who spends all the day going to Celebration Banquet. She thanks him. Because of him, she becomes an outstanding director. Assistant Director tries to beat Mi-Do. But he’s stopped by the crew members.
Director shows up in the car. He tells Mi-Do that she will be Assistant Director if she can find 500 people tomorrow. He asks her if she can make it. The next day, Director films the movie. Mi-Do and Namgung Ho lie on the grass to pretend dead bodies. She asks him how did he know she cried? He says he could tell that she was very sad. She kisses him. Director is furious to yell at Mi-Do. It’s not his plan.

At present, Mi-Do stands on the bridge. She wonders when she and Namgung Ho lost their enthusiasm. She sees Namgung Ho’s pillow on the trash cart. She tries to go to chase the trash cart. But there’re so many cars on the street. Namgung Ho stops Mi-Do. He asks her is she crazy? He figures she cried. He blames her for letting him worry about her. It flashes back. Mi-Do runs into Assistant Director. He asks her did she come to attend his premiere? He mentions she told him that he couldn’t become real director. But the one who cannot make a feature film was her. He returns the words to her. He tells her that she will never make a feature film. She has lost her motivation, and she comes to a standstill. All she has left is slowly rotting away. He asks her does she think so? He lets her enjoy his movie.
At present, Mi-Do tells Namgung Ho that that’s none of his business anymore. She yells at him. She asks him not to care for it. He says he wishes he would do that. But he couldn’t help himself. She tells him that they’re over. But he wants to give it a try. She tells him that they cannot go back to the time. She asks him does he want to know their future? She will be his burden, and he makes her not take a breath. In the next ten years, they will continue to try hard for each other. They will hate each other. She doesn’t want that. She doesn’t want to walk to the future. She’s afraid of it. He’s afraid of it as well. But he cannot break up with her. He doesn’t want her to disappear from his life. He asks her to marry him.
