Namgung Ho has breakfast with Mi-Do at home in A Love Other Than Yours episode 4. He confesses it to her that he’s working with the niece of the hotel owner. She remembers Su-A looked like a Little Mugwort. She asks him was she pretty? He says the girl is younger than Wan-Do. She was a little off. She becomes harder to deal with after she grew up.
Mi-Do guesses Namgung Ho saw the girl, and he was very happy. He would mention her sometimes. The TV is playing the news about first snow. She offers to go to Amusement Park to watch the first snow. They haven’t been there in a long time.
In 2017, Yong-Dae finds Su-A at a restaurant. She’s furious to blame him for dating her friend’s father. She reveals she was the one who posted the photo. She wanted everyone to despise him. She boards the ship.
Su-A arrives at the pier on Seahorse Island. She sees her father Yong-Dae’s poster. She ruins it with a pen. Namgung Ho joins her. He wants to know where the bus stop is. Namgung Ho works with Su-A’s aunt. He tells her that he was dumped by the girl who he has liked for ten years. So he fled. He feels painful when he thinks that he’s going to continue to see her.
Su-A asks her aunt to connect the TV. She wants to watch it. She does it not because of her father. She needs to prepare the cover. The island worker tells Su-A that her aunt does it because she worries about her. Her father asked them not to let her watch TV. Su-A mentions her father disgraced the national team’s jersey. He deserves to be criticized. He just pays the price for the Negative Public Perception that he caused. She will take care of the TV.
Su-A goes to the beach. She tries to get the signal for her cell phone. She texts her father. She tells him that she lied. The photos weren’t uploaded by her. She cries. She sees Namgung Ho. He tells her that he arrived when she cried.
At present, Su-A wakes at in her bedroom. She walks out of the bedroom. She drinks water. It flashes back. Namgung Ho recognizes Su-A at the restaurant. He lets her have a seat. He tells her that she looked very funny when she pretended she didn’t know him. So he went along with her to act. But she enjoyed her acting. He asks her did she plan to keep pretending she didn’t know him? She admits it. It’s been a long time, and the workplace is a professional environment.
More importantly, they weren’t close. She thought she didn’t have to recognize him. He thinks she should have continued to pretend. Why did she approach him suddenly? She says she needs to know the date of sample processing. She didn’t know he’s a selfish bystander. She asks him why did he get in Driver Oh’s truck? Why was he interested in sweet potatoes suddenly? He learns that she has already received the season 3 of Outsourcer Purchase Order Receipt.
He asks her to gather all the receipts from last year. He persuades her to eat. There will be traffic later, and she cannot take a break to eat during the trip.
At present, Su-A turns around. She finds out that Su-Yeon is sleeping on the couch. At Hunmin Confectionery, Assistant Manager Park packs his stuff. He tries to leave the company. But his stuff falls on the floor. Namgung Ho helps the guy pick up his stuff.
On the roof, Namgung Ho and the colleagues talk about Assistant Manager Park. Ho-Sik doesn’t understand why the guy changed a supplier. Namgung Ho thinks Assistant Manager Park wanted to lower the unit price. Those guys changed the Packaging Bag when production began. Ho-Sik remembers Assistant Manager Park and Namgung Ho joined the company at the same time. He asks Namgung Ho and Sang-Hoon not to show off. Just do their part. Don’t try to be too clever. Namgung Ho tells Ho-Sik that he will follow his professional advice. Ho-Sik wants to beat Namgung Ho. Namgung Ho asks Ho-Sik and Sang-Hoon to take Su-A when they go to have lunch.
Namgung Ho meets Yeon-Ju at a restaurant. He serves her some food. He says they will have a talk after she eats ten pieces of meat. He’s very good at getting along with people. She tells him that Mi-Do refused to sign the settlement agreement. It really gave her a headache. She thinks he should go to persuade Mi-Do. The case will be on the news, and it will even end up in court. But he wants to let nature take its course. She asks him is he crazy? He should stop Mi-Do.
Mi-Do loses her mind. He says if Mi-Do is determined to do it no matter what, she must have her reasons. She can indeed be a bit emotional at times. But when it comes to movies, she has a strong conviction. Or maybe it’s a matter of values. She’s very firm in her stance. He respects the point.
He asks Yeon-Ju how much does it cost to go to court? He just happens to have a few fixed-term deposits. Namgung Ho returns to the company. He remembers Yeon-Ju told him that Mi-Do isn’t cut out for commercial films. The “Up-and-Coming Director” label isn’t suitable for her anymore.
Namgung Ho and Mi-Do go to see the wedding hall. He thinks the hall is too large. Because they only has 200 guests. They eat at a restaurant. She doesn’t plan to invite her relatives. She doesn’t want to accept the insincere blessings from the people who she’s not close to. After all, those guys have given gift money before when Young-Do got married. She believes that her mother will understand it.
He tells her that she doesn’t have to be so thoughtful. It’s not like her. He knows she does it for him. He asks her when does she become so considerate of others? It makes him feel very out of place. She tells him that he misunderstands it. She just doesn’t want to invite her relatives.
He gives her the application for a film production grant. He checked it. She’s eligible. She said the script she’s writing isn’t suitable for a commercial film. They can subsidize 80 percent of the production costs. He invests in the rest. He gives her his bankbook. But she refuses to accept it. He says sometimes he feels regret he shouldn’t have given up drawing.
It flashes back. Namgung Ho burns his drawings at the school. Mi-Do runs to him. But she’s blocked by the guy. She asks Namgung Ho is he crazy? He asks her where is the drawing? The one he drew for her when they went on a picnic. She claims that the drawing belongs to her. He grabs her bag. He finds the painting from her bag. He burns it. She cries. She asks him does he have to do it? She knows he’s sadder than she is. She doesn’t understand why he torments himself like that. He tells her that it’s over.
At present, Namgung Ho tells Mi-Do that he doesn’t know why he was so extreme. It’s as if leaving that painting behind were some huge deal. He thinks it’s funny. But she disagrees. She asks him if he wants to draw again. He shakes his head. He says he would occasionally think of it because he didn’t see it through to the end. He admits that he really regrets it. This is why he doesn’t want her to get the ending like him. Don’t let the environment force her to give up the things that she loves. Do what she enjoys. That’s suitable for her.
Namgung Ho parks his car. He gets Mi-Do to open the Storage Box. She sees the ring. He puts the ring on her finger. He mentions she wants to be proposed to at Seoul Art Cinema. Actually, he had already planned everything out last time. He doesn’t want to delay it anymore. He offers to keep it simple today. He will make a proposal to her again at the cinema next year. Even if she knows it, she must pretend she’s pleasantly surprised. At times like this, she should at least pretend to be moved a little. Shed a few tears or something like that. How much longer is she going to keep that sour face? She laughs, and she thinks they should hug each other.
Mi-Do returns home with Namgung Ho. She takes a look at the ring on her finger. She receives a message from Tae-Seung. He tells her that Director Kim met the film company. He asks her does she want him to take action? She gets angry. But she receives a message from someone. The woman asks her for two million won. Mi-Do strokes Namgung Ho’s scar on his belly. She tucks the blanket around him.
The next day, Tae-Seung is in his office. He confirms that Mi-Do is alive, and she’s going to go to the cafe. He tries to go to meet her. But he runs into Ju-Hyeok at the elevator. Ju-Hyeok complains it to Tae-Seung that the lawyers almost made him not make his flight. If he didn’t make his flight, he would get a divorce. He asks Tae-Seung to lose the lawsuit.
Tae-Seung gets a call from Mi-Do. They have a meeting at the cafe. She tells him that she wants to come back to be a director. She mentions he said he can make it. He wonders why did she change her mind in just a few days? He believes that she concealed something from him. He figures she does it because of her boyfriend. He asks her will the guy not marry her if she doesn’t become a director? She says she rejected the guy. She doesn’t want to be his burden with the state of disarray.
So she decided to compromise with herself. He agrees. He will help her resolve other candidates. But she needs to resolve the feud of her and Hae-Na on her own. They can use Hae-Na and Ju-Hyeok’s affair to convince Hae-Na. But she doesn’t want to do that. He thinks they don’t have to let Hae-Na take the lead. Hae-Na is in her villa. He will inform her that she will visit.
Mi-Do visits Hae-Na. She sees the con artist Ki-Bai. She’s furious to run out of the villa. In the evening, Su-A eats with Ho-Sik and Sang-Hoon at the restaurant. Su-A texts Namgung Ho. She wants to know why he gave the task to her. He arrives. He drinks with his colleagues.
Outside the restaurant, he tells Su-A that he cannot help her. He thought about it, and he was afraid. Life isn’t like dramas. His dream is to be the director who makes it to age 60. And then enjoy a comfortable retirement. He asks her not to try to sway him. He returns to the restaurant. Sang-Hoon tells Namgung Ho that Su-A went to the restroom. Because Ho-Sik spilled the wine on her.
Namgung Ho goes to the restroom. The criminal is kidnapping Su-A with a knife. Namgung Ho breaks the lock. He threatens the criminal that he will forgive him if he lets Su-A go. The criminal pushes Su-A to Namgung Ho. He flees. Namgung Ho tries to go to chase the criminal. But Su-A stops him. She tells him that the guy has a knife.
At the nightclub, Mi-Do asks Tae-Seung to explain it to her what happened. He tells her that he gave her a card that can deal with Hae-Na. She says she already has the card. She takes out her cell phone. He points out that they will have a hard time if she uses the card. This is why she didn’t use it, and she visited Hae-Na. He learns that her conscience doesn’t allow her to do that. He decides to do it in person.
He calls Hae-Na. He tells her that Mi-Do just visited her, and Mi-Do wants to be a director again. Hae-Na cries. She is willing to agree to any conditions. She will be over if the case is exposed. He knows she cannot lose anything because of her father. She says she likes acting very much. He promises her that he will take care of everything. She thanks him.
Mi-Do is furious to ask Tae-Seung does he think it’s funny? He says he has his reasons. He asks the waiter to go to prepare some drinks for him and Mi-Do. He gives Mi-Do two hours. He wishes she will make the right choice. He leaves the room.
Namgung Ho and Su-A walk out of the police station. He thinks she should have called for help. She mentions he could call the police. Why he broke into the restroom? He was almost hurt. If he was hurt, he would blame her. He claims that he’s not like her. He’s good at handling the crisis. She learns that this is why he provoked a person who carried a knife. He says he could take down the guy. But she made him miss the Citizen Award for Acts of Bravery.
She thinks she was very selfish. She feels sorry. He asks her was she hurt? She says he asked too late. She’s fine. Does it leave her with any psychological trauma? She says none at this time. Was she startled? She was afraid of it. But she’s fine now. She doesn’t need sedatives.
He takes her to the convenience store. He buys a bottle of yogurt. She says she doesn’t drink it anymore. He tells her that it’s not for her. He drinks the yogurt. He gives the drink to her. He thinks she was deeply shaken. She says she has great mental strength. He draws the criminal when she describes what the criminal looked like. He uses the pen to check her face. At the nightclub, Tae-Seung drinks with the client in the room. Mi-Do breaks into the room. She grabs the wine, and she drinks it. Tae-Seung tries to take her out of the room. But she shakes off his hand. She tells him that she went to beg Hae-Na, but he ruined everything. She pours the wine on the client’s head. She laughs, and she leaves the room. The client is furious to ask Tae-Seung to go to catch the woman back.
Tae-Seung stops Mi-Do on the bridge. He asks her is she crazy? She knows what she was doing. He got played. And she’s going to make things even worse for him. He asks her when she began to care for Hae-Na. It’s funny that she wants to protect the woman. She admits that she’s a trash. But she’s clear-headed because of him. He mentions what Hae-Na said that she will let her come back. She will agree no matter what she asks. So, there’s no problem.
She says Namgung Ho will dislike her if he knows what she did. He will be disappointed in her. She doesn’t want that. He learns that her boyfriend is her weak spot.
At the convenience store, Su-A tells Namgung Ho that his dream is very cool. On the bridge, Tae-Seung tells Mi-Do that if she doesn’t delete the photo on the cloud, her boyfriend will has no face to stay at his company. His future career will be ruined. She grabs his collar. She tries to throw him off the bridge. She tells him that she will kill him if he touches Namgung Ho. He says he just wanted to scare her one minute ago. But he changes his mind. It will be very funny if he touches the guy. It’s snowing. Mi-Do releases Tae-Seung. She misses Namgung Ho.
The next day, Mi-Do wakes up on the couch in Tae-Seung’s office. Tae-Seung hands over the phone to her. He lets her pick up the phone. Namgung Ho is calling her.

He says he’s fine now. The doctor didn’t expect that he recovered so fast. Although he only has one kidney. It will grow up. She asks him why he did it. He says the peaches were too sweet.
It flashes back. At the ward, Namgung Ho doesn’t want to care for his mother. But he remembers his mother fed him the peaches. At present, Namgung Ho tells Mi-Do that he wouldn’t eat the peaches if he knew the price. He cries in her arms.
