At the taxi company, Namgung Ho meets the taxi driver in A Love Other Than Yours episode 5. The taxi driver finds Mi-Do’s phone from his taxi. He returns it to Namgung Ho. He reveals the lady was drunk. Namgung Ho sees the message. Someone asks Mi-Do for one million won. Young-Do and Wan-Do show up in the van. Wan-Do asks Namgung Ho who was the last person Mi-Do called? Namgung Ho checks Mi-Do’s phone.
Mi-Do wakes up in Tae-Seung’s office. Tae-Seung hands over the phone to Mi-Do. He knows her boyfriend calls her. He intends to hang up for her. But she picks up the phone. She tells Namgung Ho that she’s going to go home. She will explain it to him later. But he wants to know where she is and who’s with her. She refuses to leak. She hangs up.
Mi-Do asks Tae-Seung to explain it to her what happened. He figures she forgets it. He shows her the wound on his forehead.
It flashes back. Tae-Seung tries to stop Mi-Do from going to see Ju-Hyeok. She hits his forehead. She gets in a taxi, and she leaves. He fails to catch the taxi. She arrives at Ju-Hyeok’s company. But she’s trapped in the elevator. Tae-Seung gets the repairman to open the elevator. Mi-Do falls asleep in the elevator.
At present, Tae-Seung tells Mi-Do that he was very lucky. At that time, the elevator happened to break down. He claims that he didn’t arrange it. Even if it was him, he couldn’t predict the unexpected situation. She films him. She says it’s the evidence that can prove she’s innocent. She will main the settlement agreement today. He wins.
He stops her from leaving his office. He tells her that there’re no security cameras in the hallway. He suggests that she should take the stairs, not the elevator. She was drunk, and she wasn’t thinking straight. She thinks the guy wanted to trick her to sign the settlement agreement when she was drunk.
The jerk is like an aluminum can. He’s a trash that takes 200 years to decompose. She began it first. She found his weakness by mistake. She threatened him to amend the terms of the agreement to her advantage. She regrets it very much. She’s truly reflecting deeply on her actions.
Namgung Ho asks Mi-Do for the guy’s number. He will ask Yeon-Ju for the number if she doesn’t give the number to him. She tells him that nothing happened. After she mails the agreement, she won’t see the guy. But he doesn’t want to let it go. She says she’s not a three years old kid. Will he take her to the law firm to argue? He blames her for saying such words after she made him worry about her. She says she does it because she feels sorry. She feels guilty and she’s dying.
He thinks she shouldn’t have the attitude if she feels sorry. She asks him does he want her to cry? He asks her to cry. They hold hands. He asks her not to force herself to settle. She says she doesn’t force herself. She just wants to end the case in such a way. He tells her that they can sue the law firm if she wants it. She rejects it. She wants to spend the time on her script. She decides not to drink for three months. It includes Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day. They will stop celebrating these holidays. He thinks it’s a great sacrifice.

She realizes that he tricked her. She gets angry.
Young-Do visits Mun-Yeong at the school. She shows him the footage that Sang-Su made. She wants to meet her son. He thinks it’s not a big deal. She points out that they got a divorce because of a small deal.
Young-Do goes fishing with Namgung Ho by the lake. He complains it to him that Mun-Yeong hit him with a hamburger, and she wanted to get a divorce with him. It’s not that he hasn’t let her go. He doesn’t understand it. She didn’t leave him when he failed the Civil Service Exam. Namgung Ho agrees with what Young-Do said. He mentions Mun-Yeong forgave him after he bought stocks and lost his shop. Young-Do is sure that the woman had another reason after he saw a handsome guy in her office.
He asks Namgung Ho does he know it? Namgung Ho doesn’t know. He gets a call from Yeon-Ju. She asks him not to send her gift cards. She doesn’t know how many bad movies Mi-Do signed. If Mi-Do discovers that she told him about the case of the production company, she will be over.
At the amusement park, Guk-Jin talks with Namgung Ho over the phone. He believes that Mi-Do signed with another production company. He promises him that he will tell it to him once he finds the production company. But he’s caught by Mi-Do. She asks him when did Namgung Ho become his boss? He says they had a meeting at the police station. Namgung Ho gave him the money to take taxi. He gave the guy his number. They got in touch in such a way.
In the evening on the basketball court, Namgung Ho admits it to Mi-Do that he paid the production company, and he cancelled her contract. But it was all a waste of time. Because she went to sign another contract. She apologizes to him for not telling him that she filmed bad movies. But he crossed the line. He asks her when did she pay his mother? He knows it has been two years. He asks her why didn’t she tell it to him? He’s not angry with her.
He knows his mother used him to threaten her. She said she would come to him if she didn’t give her the money. This is how the woman forced her. She admits that she gave the money to aunt Hwa-Young. But Hwa-Young wasn’t related to her filming bad movies. He wants to repay her. She says she does it not for his money. He asks her to accept it. Otherwise he has no face to see her.

Even if time are to turn back, she would make the same choice. She doesn’t regret it. He feels guilty that he didn’t know it. He said something to hurt her. She tells him that they tie. Because he did the housework for her. She asks him not to make an excuse to see Hwa-Young. She realizes that he did it. He tells her that he hired a lawyer. He wants to put an end to it all. So he has to meet his mother one last time. He asks Mi-Do to let him do it.
She agrees. She wants to accompany him. He rejects it. He says he doesn’t want her to see him with the woman. He promises her that he will resolve it. He asks her to wait for him to come back.
Mi-Do and Namgung Ho are on the way home. She gives him a Voice Recorder. She asks him to turn it on when he sees his mother. She asks him to only tell half the story to his mother. He will be hurt if he tells it all. He thinks she grows up. She says someone taught her well. He laughs. She hugs him. She promises him that she won’t let him suffer alone. She will protect him.
The next day, Young-Do and Sang-Su are on the way to see Mun-Yeong. Young-Do tells his son that his mother will be sad if she knows he filmed the video to embarrass her.
In the evening, Namgung Ho drives for the film producer. He asks him to cancel the contract with Mi-Do. He claims that he’s Mi-Do’s fan. The film producer laughs.
In 2024, Mi-Do visits Hwa-Young. She asks her not to contact them. She asks her not to win Namgung Ho’s sympathy with the photos of her injuries. She won’t let it go if she contacts them. She tries to leave her house. But she sees a kid. The kid calls Hwa-Young mother.
At present, Hae-Na and Tae-Seung watch the movie at the theater. She’s surprised that Mi-Do rejected the director opportunity. She asks him why is he so calm? If her father’s case is exposed, it will affect Ju-Hyeok. He offers to kill Mi-Do. It’s the best way to make the woman remain silent. She thinks he’s crazy. He sees Mi-Do on the movie.
Namgung Ho visits Hwa-Young when she’s drinking tea with the ladies. He tells the ladies that Hwa-Young is a con artist. The ladies leave Hwa-Young’s house. She reminds him that she’s his mother. He won’t make it. He agrees with what she said. This is why he wants to send her to a mental hospital. He tells her that she shouldn’t have touched Mi-Do. The cops are going to come.
Hwa-Young chases Namgung Ho out of the house. She slaps him. She blames him for ruin it. She has been preparing for this plan for several years. She knows he’s going to marry Mi-Do. She asks him does Mi-Do know she took out a loan at a high interest rate? She owes 300 million won. Those loan sharks will eat him for the money. It will be easier if he and Mi-Do repay the debt together.
Namgung Ho tries to strangle Hwa-Young to death. The kid Han-Sol shows up. He asks Namgung Ho to release his mother. Namgung Ho remembers he protected his mother when the loan shark bullied his mother.
Namgung Ho is in his car. He gets a call from Su-A. He asks her to meet him in the sauna. He asks her to buy a coat that’s not more than 100,000 won. In the sauna, he sits in the massage chair. She brings the coat to him. She tells him that the total is 110,400 won. It’s too hard to buy a coat that only costs 100,000 won. He checks the coat. He tells her that he dislikes the collar.
He discovered she hid behind the doll. She says she didn’t intend to do that. She did it because she worried that he would be in danger. That’s why she followed him from home. He tries to leave with the coat. But she says she wants to buy him a meal. She says the Fried Pork Chops here are delicious. She knows it because she studied nearby. He sighs. He tells her that he’s not in the mood to eat fried pork chops. He offers to eat sweet rice wine. He asks her to buy him sweet rice wine.

He teaches her how to deal with those girls. But she doesn’t want to use the tips. Because she won’t meet them. Namgung Ho joins the girls. He tells them that he won’t forgive them if they dare to talk to Su-A. The girl asks Su-A to apologize to them. Because Namgung Ho just bullied them. But Su-A yells at the girls.
Hae-Na is drunk to visit Mi-Do. She asks her why doesn’t she come back to director? She thinks she wants to torment her. Mi-Do tells Hae-Na that she will do that if she keeps bothering her. Hae-Na mistakes that Mi-Do is taking revenge for her. Mi-Do tells Hae-Na that she will keep the secret for her. So she doesn’t have to worry about it. She asks her to leave her house. Hae-Na laughs. She thinks Mi-Do is pretending to be a good person. She should ask her to get on knees to her and apologize.
Mi-Do drives Hae-Na out of her house. She throws away her heels. She tells her that she won’t forgive her if she dares to come again. She closes the door. Someone rings the doorbell when Mi-Do is washes her hands in the bathroom. She mistakes the person for Hae-Na. She’s furious to go to open the door. But the person is Tae-Seung. He gets in the house.
Tae-Seung looks for Hae-Na in the house. Mi-Do tells him that Hae-Na just left. He will find woman if he goes to chase her. She tells him that she blocked Hae-Na’s number. He realizes that she blocked his number as well. This is why he couldn’t reach her. He wanted to use another number to call her. But his pride disallowed him to do that. He loses again. He approaches Mi-Do. He tells her that he wants to confirm if he falls for her.

He says he does it not for the settlement agreement. He holds her head, and he kisses her. She pushes him away. He kisses her again. The assistant calls Tae-Seung. He wants to talk to him about the case. Tae-Seung hangs up. He finds out that Mi-Do falls asleep. He strokes her face. He finds something from her sleeve. At present, Namgung Ho tries to open the door of Mi-Do’s house when Mi-Do and Tae-Seung are in the house.
