Why Tian Yao Cannot Pull Out His Flame Sword?

Yan Hui blames Bai Xiaosheng for beating Elder Brother. She thinks he was irritability. He promises to control his temper. But he asks her to take care of Tian Yao more than Elder Brother if Tian Yao is hurt. He tells her that he won’t forgive her if she cheated on Tian Yao.
Yan Hui tells Bai Xiaosheng to get lost. It makes him believe that the one is hurt more if he pays more. Elder Brother wakes up. He blames Yan Hui for playing with the monster. Yan Hui reveals she scolded the monster. But she tells Elder Brother that she won’t return to Morning Star Mountain.
Yan Hui tells Elder Brother not to stay with her. But he rejects it because he wishes to take her to return to Morning Star Mountain. He reveals it was Ling Xiao’s order. But she points out that the one who kicked her out was Ling Xiao. She claims that she’s not the person of Morning Star mountain anymore.
Elder Brother thinks Ling Xiao did it for a reason. He comforts Yan Hui that he will help her this time. But she tells him that she won’t come back. Because she has a business. She thinks he will tell it to Ling Xiao if she tells him that she plans to help Tian Yao take back his dragon bones.
Yan Hui tells Elder Brother that she’s going to go to see a doctor. He tells her to let Ling Xiao treat her. But she tells him that Ling Xiao cannot treat her. He tries to take her away. But she stuns him from his back. Yan Hui remembers Tian Yao told her that she’s a special girl to him. She stuns herself.
Bai Xiaosheng sneaks into Yan Hui’s room. He tells Tian Yao that Yan Hui’s elder brother plans to take Yan Hui to return to Morning Star Mountain. He thinks Elder Brother is the childhood lover of Yan Hui. He decides to kill Elder Brother.
But Tian Yao stops Bai Xiaosheng. Because he thinks Yan Hui cares for the people of Morning Star Mountain. He tells Bai Xiaosheng that he won’t forgive him if he does so. Bai Xiaosheng thinks Tian Yao is jealous. But Tian Yao denies it. He asks Bai Xiaosheng not to let Yan Hui not be taken away.
Bai Xiaosheng comforts Tian Yao that he will watch Yan Hui. Tian Yao arrives at the formation. He tries to pull out his flame sword. But he fails. He lies on the snow and falls asleep. The kids pass by. They give a present to Tian Yao.
Tian Yao wakes up. He finds out that the kids gave their powers to the sword. The man tells Tian Yao that the sword can only be used by him. But he wishes him not to let the blessing be the burden. Tian Yao takes a look at his hands. He realizes that he cannot pull out his flame sword because he lost his utterly sincere heart.
Elder Brother thinks Yan Hui will beat Ling Xiao since she beat him. He decides to take her to return to Morning Star Mountain. Bai Xiaosheng shows up behind Elder Brother. He sends him to the forest because he heard the forest is hard to be walked out.

Episode 13 of Back From the Brink Chinese Drama ends with Tian Yao protecting Yan Hui before she’s killed by the black powers. He tells Flame Sword that he has to save Yan Hui. He drops his blood on the sword. He kills the black power with his sword.
