Yan Hui tells Elder Brother that the black power in her Mind Sea was killed by Tian Yao. He doesn’t expect that Tian Yao had the ability to kill black power. He reveals Fantasy Monster was eaten by the black power. She’s surprised that he encountered Fantasy Monster.
Elder Brother tells Yan Hui that Fantasy King looked for the person who has black power in his body. She realizes that the one Fantasy King wished to catch was Bai Xiaosheng. He tells her that the immortals were mad because of black power. He believes that someone intends to use black power to manipulate immortals.
Elder Brother notes that Bai Xiaosheng is missing. He mentions Bai Xiaosheng can control black power. He asks Yan Hui if Bai Xiaosheng is a devil. She admits it. But she tells Elder Brother that Bai Xiaosheng has helped her. She thinks Bai Xiaosheng fled after his identity was known by everyone.
Elder Brother decides to report it to Ling Xiao. He tells Yan Hui to return to Morning Star Mountain with him. But she rejects it because she promised to help Tian Yao. She thanks him for coming to see her. He tells her that she’s always be his younger sister. He thinks he should come to her since she was missing.
Yan Hui prepares breakfast for Tian Yao. He asks her if she’s fine. She tells him that she’s fine. She asks him about his wound. He tells her that it’s not hurt anymore. He wonders why she got into the Misty Forest since Feng Qianshuo told them not to visit the forest.
Yan Hui leaks that she went to Misty Forest because Bai Xiaosheng kidnapped Elder Brother. Tian Yao asks Yan Hui about his sword. She tells him that the sword flied away on his own. He tells her that he’s going to take her to Dragon Valley.
Yan Hui is shy after knowing Tian Yao intends to take her to return to his hometown. He thinks his sword returned to Dragon Valley as well. He plans to tame his flame dragon tooth. He takes her to Dragon Valley. She recognizes the tree. She reveals she burned the tree.
Tian Yao thanks Yan Hui for releasing him from the tree. She tells him to return the money he owed her to her. He promises to give all of his money to her. But she points out that she will be his wife if she accepts all of his money. She claims that she only asks for the money she deserves.
The kids pay their respect to their families. Tian Yao realizes that his clansmen were killed because him. He swears to let Su Ying repay the blood debts. He feels uncomfortable. Yan Hui is close to him. She mentions what he said that he will feel better if he’s close to Dragon Scale.
But Tian Yao rejects Yan Hui’s help because he thinks he deserves it. He tells her to stay away from him. Because he doesn’t wish her to see his ugly looks. She points out that the ugly one is Su Ying who hurt him. He passes out. Tian Yao wakes up. He tries to stroke Yan Hui’s face. But he remembers Su Ying stabbed him at the wedding.

Episode 14 of Back From the Brink Chinese Drama ends with the boy telling Yan Hui that he doesn’t allow her to live with Tian Yao. Because he doesn’t wish them to be in love in Dragon valley. He tells Yan Hui not to comb Tian Yao’s hair again.
