In the mountains, Nanase tells Ayanokouji that the next Designated Area is E2 in Classroom of The Elite Season 4 episode 12. They need to cross the mountains if they take the shortest route. He thinks it’s safer to take a detour. But she prefers to cross the mountains. She knows she will be the first to arrive when others take a detour. He decides to accompany her to cross the mountains since she’s ready for it.
After Vengeance

In D3, Nanase wants Ayanokouji to answer her a question. He knows she has thought about something after she asked him to travel with her. She apologizes to him for one thing. She tells him that he won’t arrive in the next designated area. She required to cross the mountains to lead him there. He made many friends in the school. He gained many trusting relationships. Although he wasn’t quickly, he gradually showed his true potential. But he’s not the person who should stay in the school.
He asks her for her reason. She tells him that she does it because he’s a guy of White Room. She thinks he must have noticed that she enrolled in the school because of Tsukishiro’s order. Tsukishiro’s order is for her to force him to drop out. She will let him be injured to trigger the alarm. The teachers who come there will order him to abstain.
Ayanokouji learns that he will drop out if he’s defeated. He thinks he only has one choice. Nanase reminds him that both sides are at fault if they fight. He will drop out as well. She launches the first attack. But he blocks her attack. His fist is close to her face. He knows it’s her first fist. He asks her if she’s tired, or she hesitates. He thinks she should have even greater potential. She learns what he means is that he can beat her down even if he doesn’t quickly fire back.
She launches the second attack. His fist is still close to her face. He thinks the game is over if he can beat her down this time. She tells him that it’s her freedom to show off his strengths. He won’t win if he doesn’t fight back. He points out that he won’t win even if he fights back. She agrees with what he said. She asks him what he will do. He’s thinking about it. She wishes he will get the answer while he stands safely.
She launches the third attack. She can tell that he truly possesses the rumored skills. She jumps back. She knows what he wants to do. She asks him if he wants to take a severe blow to her morale while he doesn’t hurt her. She admits that she cannot deal with him, using standard tactics. She stands no chance against him.
She attacks him from above when she looks like a completely different person. He dodges her attack. He asks her who she is. She tells him that she will block him there. She came back from the place to block him. The place was a dimly lit place. She thinks it’s not surprising. After all, they didn’t have a meeting. She’s not Nanase. She’s Matsuo. He’s the son of the man who Ayanokouji’s father killed. The body was borrowed. She stands in front of him to beat him down.
Ayanokouji thinks it’s a funny joke. Nanase launches a series of attacks. But it’s all blocked by Ayanokouji. He realizes what she wants to express. He tells her that she doesn’t have multiple personalities. She’s not possessed by someone else as well. She asks him to explain Matsuo’s presence. He tells her that she just made a personalty in her heart. She used herself for the purpose of self-suggestion. She says that the power is the strongest evidence that herself exists.
He tells her that she just showed a disparity based on her existing abilities. She doesn’t believe it. She claims that she’s Matsuo. He reminds her that she doesn’t have to be flustered if what she says is true. She just treats switching to first person as a toggle, making herself become more aggressive. She wants to believe that Matsuo is in her body.
He tells her that she won’t hit him with her abilities. It’s better to pretend that she’s the victim that she was attacked to make him drop out. She only needs to be disheveled. It will drive him to his death. He walks away. She screams.
Kushida meets Yagami in the forest. He reports it to her that Nanase is with Ayanokouji. She remembers Nanase is a student of Class 1-D. Nanase plans to get Ayanokouji involved in a violent incident to force him to fight back. So he will drop out. Kushida learns that Yagami intends to report it to the school. Saying that Nanase is knocked down by Ayanokouji. So they should use their tablets to record what happens.
Yagami asks Kushida to be in charge of filming. She refuses to do it. She thinks he can do it on his own. He says that he’s a man. He should step in to stop it since he sees a dispute. He will be suspected if he films. But she’s a weak girl. She will be scared, and she doesn’t know what to do. She will film to file a record. So she opens the tablet. He hands over the tablet to her. He asks her if she wants to help him. She thinks she has no choice.
Kushida looks for Nanase and Ayanokouji in the forest. Yagami tells her that the two stopped in their tracks. He asks her to head northwest. Amasawa appeares from behind Kushida. She covers her mouth. She asks her to be quiet. She thinks it will be a real headache for her if she’s discovered by Nanase and Ayanokouji.
Kushida asks Amasawa why she’s there. Amasawa says that she just passed by. She saw the sneaky Kushida. Kushida says that she wasn’t sneaky. She just went out to take a walk. Amasawa slaps Kushida. The tablet falls on the ground. She mentions she was deep in the mountains to snoop around. She asks her what she wants to do. She wants to know how long she can wear the mask. She walks to her. She flicks her away.
Kushida asks Amasawa if she knows what she’s doing. Amasawa says that she has already gone easy on Kushida. She tells Kushida that it’s not hurt. Kushida doesn’t understand it. Amasawa tells Kushida that she will understand it as long as she punches her. She tries to hit her. Kushida knocks Amasawa’s hand away. She explains it to her that she did it because she attacked her suddenly. Amasawa learns that Kushida wants to continue to play innocent. She tells her that she knows exactly what she’s doing.
Kushida believes that she’s cute. But her personality is ugly. Amasawa asks Kushida if she’s going to go to report to the school that she was beaten by her. In that case, she might be able to force her to drop out. But Amasawa will leave a goodbye present. She will expose Kushida’s scandal, taking away her shelter. Why does Amasawa know the secret? Did she hear that from Ayanokouji? Amasawa knows Kushida has many questions. But she tells her that she was wrong. She’s a special presence. So nothing can escape her keen eye.
Amasawa tells Kushida that she just came to save Ayanokouji. She doesn’t know who asked her. But Kushida was used. Ayanokouji would discover her amateur-level chasing techniques. Kushida tells Amasawa that the case isn’t related to her. But Amasawa says that it has a lot to do with her. Because Ayanokouji is a special person to her. Kushida guesses Amasawa likes the guy. But Amasawa doesn’t wish Kushida spoke in such a vulgar way. It’s not liking. Is it love? It must be stronger than love, right?
Amasawa tells Kushida that it’s a feeling that goes beyond love. She asks her to head down the mountain and return to camp. Kushida is furious to take a handful of dirt. She throws the dirt at Amasawa. Amasawa blocks the dirt with her hand. Kushida swears that she will exploit Ayanokouji’s weakness to let him drop out. Amasawa tells Kushida that she won’t let her have her way. She grabs her hair. She refuses to let go. Kushida thinks Amasawa isn’t right in the head.
Amasawa tells Kushida that she likes herself very much. She wants to step on other people’s head. So she actively sought out other people’s secrets. But once she’s trampled underfoot. She’s not happy with it. She won’t forgive anyone who knows the secret. Amasawa doesn’t dislike Kushida’s chaotic personality. Kushida says that she won’t lose no matter what happens. She won’t give up until the very end.
Amasawa points out that she has Kushida wrapped around her little finger. Kushida thinks she doesn’t have to be flustered. It will be fine as long as she gets rid of Amasawa. She just needs to clear all obstacles. It’s just a little thing. Amasawa tells Kushida that she might exceed her expectations. Although she’s terrible, the mental strength fills her with admiration. Rather than being afraid of her, there is more hatred continuously emerging. And it only only targets her. It even extends to the person who told her the secret.
Kushida tries to pick up a stone. Amasawa stops Kushida. She tells her that she’s not her rival even if the world turns upside down. She tries to walk away. Kushida attacks Amasawa with a stone. Amasawa gives Kushida a shoulder throw. She tells her that she’s her natural enemy. She doesn’t have the secret that she will worry about. If she has to say, it’s Ayanokouji. But finding a way to deal with the guy is just as hard as defeating Amasawa. Kushida asks Amasawa if she’s going to spread the word about her. Amasawa denies it. But it might just turn out the way Kushida wants it to. Ayanokouji will drop out.
Kushida tells Amasawa that she will defeat her after that. But Amasawa says that the outcome was decided right from the start.
Ichinose’s watch is broken when she falls down and hits the rock. She decides to go back to change it even if she knows it will be extremely dangerous. She tells her teammate that they shouldn’t waste any point to catch up with the top positions. He asks her not to do anything reckless. She nods. She will not be able to laugh if she withdraws due to injury.
Ichinose says goodbye to her teammates. She thinks every decision she makes is the worst possible choice. She hears that Tsukishiro is talking to the teacher Shiba. Shiba reports it to Tsukishiro that Chabashira reviewed all resumes. Tsukishiro thinks Chabashira and Mashima were in cahoots with Ayanokouji. Shiba says that he falsified the resumes. He thinks nobody knows what he did. Tsukishiro tells Shiba that they should drive Ayanokouji into a corner since the guy has picked up some clues. But Shiba thinks it won’t be easy to force Ayanokouji to drop out. Ayanokouji is a student of White Room.
Tsukishiro asks Shiba to take care of Ayanokouji in I2 if the guy survives until the very last day. He discovers Ichinose. She tries to flee. But she trips. Shiba recognizes Ichinose. He thinks it’s not a problem how much she heard. He tries to kill her. But Tsukishiro stops Shiba. He thinks he’s too impatient. Ichinose tells Tsukishiro that she heard nothing. But he wants to prepare for the worst. He must act on the assumption that she has heard it. It will be a real headache for them if she leaks their conversation. He offers to torture her until she loses her memory, having her abstain.
He laughs. He tells her that he wouldn’t say something like that even if his mouth is torn apart as the person who guards the school. He wants to try his best not to get physical. So he has a suggestion. If she mentions it to someone, he will have a team of Class 2-C abstain. He will choose the people who can avoid being expelled. She’s scared to run away. He reminds her what she should guard is her classmates.
Back to D3, Ayanokouji asks Nanase why she wanted to target him. She says that she wanted to take revenge for Matsuo. She and Matsuo were always together. He was better than her no matter what they did. He was her aspiration. But his father helped Ayanokouji flee from White Room. The father and son were constantly deprived of a place to stay. Matsuo still moved forward even if the path to higher education was cut off, and his father passed away. He smiled and said that he wouldn’t give up. But he hung himself.
Tsukishiro showed up in front of Nanase. He told her that why Matsuo’s life was was turned upside down. He helped her complete the enrollment process. They made plans if she could force Ayanokouji to drop out. He arranged the meeting up of her and Ayanokouji’s father.
