This is the Recap for Destined With You: Episode 1. Hong-Jo lies on the floor in the temple. Shin-Yu walks into the temple. She mistakes that he’s the Grim Reaper. She tells him that she wishes to go to teahouse with him. He takes a photo of her.

Project Manager jumps off the building when the workers are having a fight with the people. Shin-Yu sees the death photo of Project Manager. The bloody hand shows up. She climbs on his body and she reaches his face. She strokes his face.
Shin-Yu tells the bloody hand not to do it to him because he has a morning trial. Kim Wook walks into Shin-Yu’s office. He wonders who he’s talking with. Shin-Yu tells Kim Wook that he’s talking with someone who likes him. Kim Wook mistakes that Shin-Yu has an affair.
But Shin-Yu tells Kim Wook that he didn’t see the girl’s face. Kim Wook thinks Shin-Yu is tired. He tells him to go to sleep. Jeong-Min looks at the dead fish. She thinks it’s due to the water pollution. She tells Hong-Jo to call the team.
But Hong-Jo takes the fish out. She thinks they should check the CCTV to know who did it. But Jeong-Min tells Hong-Jo that she won’t get promoted even if she does it. She doesn’t want to work with her. The guy tells her that Hong-Jo is transferred to City Hall.
Hong-Jo remembers Seo-Goo’s terrible face. She doesn’t want to go to City Hall. She returns home. She tells herself that she doesn’t want to see Seo-Goo. But she thinks she won’t join his team. She sees the blood red moon. The guy sneaks into the temple. He’s scared to run out of the temple after he saw something. He trips and falls to the blade. He’s killed.
Hong-Jo wakes up from the nightmare. She arrives at City Hall. She runs into Seo-Goo who’s smiling at her. She tells him that she has been transferred to his team. He thinks she drank because her face is red. She explains to him that her face flushes because she’s stressed.
Seo-Goo asks Hong-Jo if she’s stressed because he’s the team leader of her team. She denies it. He mentions he had a surgery because of her. She apologizes to him. He tells her that it’s fine. He reveals his wound has been healed. He tells her that he doesn’t hate her anymore.
Hong-Jo introduces herself to the new colleagues. She looks around and finds out that the manager isn’t in the office. Seo-Goo reveals the manager is on vacation. He thinks the manager’s desk belongs to him if it wasn’t because of her.
Hong-Jo begins to work. She finds out that she was given many tasks. She asks Sae-Byeol about the tasks. Sae-Byeol reports to Seo-Goo that Hong-Jo isn’t happy. He tells Hong-Jo to complete the task. She tries to leave the office with him. But he stops her and thinks there should be someone answering the phones.
Hong-Jo eats at the restaurant. They girl talk about Jae-Gyeong. They think Jae-Gyeong is very handsome. Hong-Jo takes a look at Jae-Gyeong. She avoids him when he sees her. Shin-Yu stays in his office. The bloody hand shows up again.
Shin-Yu tells the bloody hand to go to wash her hand when she strokes his face. She leaves. The madam tells Seo-Goo that they were scared because of the house. She asks him to tear the house down. Her husband is furious to throw a fit to him when Seo-Goo thinks they shouldn’t take the duty.
Hong-Jo volunteers to take care of the house because she thinks it’s her duty. Seo-Goo introduces Hong-Jo as their best employee to the couple. Sae-Byeol thinks Hong-Jo shouldn’t accept the task when she drives in the forest. Hong-Jo tells Sae-Byeol that she wants to win Seo-Goo’s heart. She mentions the accident.
Sae-Byeol stops her car. She tells Hong-Jo that she cannot accompany her anymore. Because she doesn’t want to go to a haunted house. She mentions there’s only one raincoat. She gives the raincoat to her. Hong-Jo wears the raincoat to walk in the mountain. She arrives at the temple.
Hong-Jo walks into the temple. She sees the god. The god wonders why Hong-Jo took so long to come to her. Hong-Jo is startled when she sees Shin-Yu. She trips and falls down. He opens the door and kicks her. Sae-Byeol slaps Hong-Jo’s face to wake her up.
Hong-Jo finds out that Sae-Byeol has a raincoat. But Sae-Byeol yells at Hong-Jo. Hong-Jo tells Sae-Byeol what she sees is her soul. She reveals she just saw a Grim Reaper. Sae-Byeol is scared to run out of the temple. Shin-Yu attends the funeral. He tells his father that Sam-Bong didn’t manage the house.
Se-Heon blames Shin-Yu for not taking care of the house. He tells him to resign. Shin-Yu’s relative asks Shin-Yu to pour him a drink. Shin-Yu’s hand shakes when he does it. The phone drops when he takes out the phone from his pocket.
Yoon-Joo picks up the phone for Shin-Yu. He tells her that his father is in anger. He leaves. Hong-Jo reports to Seo-Goo that it’s not easy to tear down the house. She thinks the house owner won’t agree to it. He tells her to go to see the house owner. He tells her not to come back if she doesn’t complete the task.
Hong-Jo is told that the house owner is a lawyer. Shin-Yu goes to see the doctor. The doctor tells Shin-Yu that he has a brain disease. He tells him not to be stressed. Hong-Jo arrives at Shin-Yu’s company. She runs into him in the elevator. She’s startled when she sees him. She wonders why he followed her. He points out that he got in the elevator first. He tries to get off the elevator. But she stops him because she doesn’t want to leave the world.
