But Ling Buyi thinks Xu Jinzhong contacted the buyer. He thinks there would be a trace after Xu Jinzhong did it. Liang Qiufei sees the carriage of Cheng family. He notes that Ling Buyi is staring at the carriage. He asks him why he did that.
Ling Buyi tells Liang Qiufei to prepare the new year goods for the soldiers. Liang Qiuqi reveals Chengyang Marquis invited Ling Buyi to attend the family party. Ling Buyi rejects it. Madam Cheng arrives at the new house. Cheng Shi is waiting for her. He lets her do the moving ceremony.

Madam Cheng walks into the hall. She finds out that the hall is very huge. She intends to invite guests to her house. She goes to her room because she wants to see how many gifts the room can accept. Cheng Shaoshang has a seat after Madam Cheng left.
Xiao Yuanyi tells Cheng Shaoshang to stand up. She mentions Cheng Yang didn’t say that she’s tired. Cheng Yang thinks Cheng Shaoshang is tired because she just recovered. Cheng Shi tells Xiao Yuanyi that he wants to take a break after he accompanied his mom.
Cheng Shaoshang tells Cheng Shi to take a break. He thinks he will be tired after he goes on a mission. Xiao Yuanyi stares at her husband. Cheng Shi claims that he didn’t tell the mission to Cheng Shaoshang. Xiao Yuanyi tells Cheng Yang to go to see her room.
Xiao Yuanyi asks Cheng Shaoshang how she knew Cheng Shi has a mission. Cheng Shaoshang leaks that she thought Emperor gave a mission to her father because he didn’t give any position to him. She tells Cheng Shi to reject to the mission because their family isn’t lack of anything.
Cheng Shi feels happy after he found out that Cheng Shaoshang is very smart. He tells Cheng Shaoshang that it’s not a campaign. Xiao Yuanyi glares at him. He has to tells Cheng Shaoshang to return to his room. He tells Xiao Yuanyi that Cheng Shaoshang won’t obey her because she always scolds her.
He comforts her that Cheng Shaoshang is smart like her. She hears the sound outside. She thinks Cheng Shaoshang is going to tear down the house. Cheng Shi persuades Xiao Yuanyi not to scold their daughter. Cheng Shaoshang tells Lian Fang that she’s going to make a swing chair. Lian Fang is very happy.
Xiao Yuanyi shows up. She learns that Cheng Shaoshang is making a swing chair. She thinks Cheng Shaoshang didn’t study enough. She tells her to study in her room. She threatens her that she cannot leave Cheng family if she refuses to study. She smiles to walk away. Lian Fang tells Cheng Shaoshang that her mother praised her.
Cheng Zhi returns home with his wife. Old Madam Cheng cries to blame Cheng Zhi. Cheng Shaoshang passes by. She thinks Old Madam Cheng’s lover came back. Cheng Shaogong notes the change of Cheng Shaoshang’s face. He reminds her that her mother is staring at her. He thinks she’s going to be punished.
Cheng Song beats Cheng Shaogong. He tells Cheng Shaogong not to scare Cheng Shaoshang. He introduces himself as Cheng Shaoshang’s older brother. Cheng Shaoshang reveals she knows Cheng Shaogong is her third older brother because he’s weak.
Cheng Shaogong and Cheng Song go to greet Old Madam Cheng. She’s happy to touch her two grandsons’ faces. But she lets Cheng Shaoshang walk aside. She feels happy after she saw her two grandsons. But she thinks the men in her family aren’t enough. She persuades Cheng Zhi to work hard. She asks him to eat some bread so that he can bring grandsons for Cheng family.
Cheng Shaoshang greets her Third Aunt Sang Shunhua. Sang Shunhua thinks Cheng Shaoshang is very smart. Old Madam Cheng gets into the house with Cheng Zhi. Cheng Shaoshang asks her two older brothers for the methods to deal with Old Madam Cheng.
Old Madam Cheng has meal with her family. She sits with Cheng Zhi and she feeds him. Cheng Shaoshang realizes that Old Madam Cheng doesn’t like Sang Shunhua. Cheng Shaogong reveals Old Madam Cheng thought Sang Shunhua isn’t match for Cheng Zhi.
Cheng Shaoshang thinks she doesn’t have to respect Old Madam Cheng if Old Madam Cheng is a snob. Xiao Yuanyi wonders who the kids badmouth. Cheng Song reveals he brought good snacks to Cheng Shaoshang. But Xiao Yuanyi asks Cheng Song to care for Yang Yang.
Sang Shunhua reminds Old Madam Cheng that she needs to go to take a break. But Old Madam Cheng rejects it because she needs to have a talk with Cheng Zhi. Cheng Zhi reveals he hasn’t slept. She volunteers to take him to his room.
Why Xiao Yuanyi Doesn’t Punish Cheng Yang’s Maid?
Xiao Yuanyi tells Cheng Shaoshang to get on knees to her. Cheng Shaoshang is surprised because she just let Lian Fang go to take the desk from her brother. Cheng Shaogong agrees to what Cheng Shaoshang said. He admits that he actually gave a desk to his sister.
The old maid thinks Lian Fang carried the desk to show off in front of them. Lian Fang denies it. He thinks Chang Pu can prove what she said. The old maid points out that Chang Pu doesn’t wake up. Cheng Song tells her to cut off Chang Pu’s fingers.
Xiao Yuanyi stops Cheng Song. Qing Cong brings Chang Pu to Xiao Yuanyi. Cheng Pu wakes up before Qing Cong steps on her face. She cries to tell Xiao Yuanyi that she was wronged. Xiao Yuanyi tells Chang Pu that she will get punished if she lied.
Cheng Yang learns that her maid Chang Pu robbed Cheng Shaoshang’s desk. She apologizes to Cheng Shaoshang. Xiao Yuanyi thinks it’s not related to Cheng Yang because she has stayed with her from morning. Cheng Song talks back that it’s not related to Cheng Shaoshang as well because she has studied from morning.
Xiao Yuanyi thinks Lian Fang and Chang Pu made mistakes. She wants to punish them. Cheng Shaoshang laughs. She tells Lian Fang to leave. She tells Chang Pu to come to her. She thinks she will find the truth if she asked her sisters about it.
Xiao Yuanyi tells Cheng Shaoshang not to punish Cheng Yang’s maid. She tells her to get along with Cheng Yang well. The old maid thanks Xiao Yuanyi for helping Cheng Yang. She thinks Cheng family bullied Cheng Yang. Sang Shunhua thinks the old maid tried to make the brothers of Cheng family have a fight. She asks her if what she said was told by Ge family.
Cheng Song tries to punish the old maid. But Xiao Yuanyi stops him. Cheng Shaoshang tells Xiao Yuanyi to punish the old maid if she thinks what the old maid said isn’t right. Xiao Yuanyi scolds Cheng Shaoshang. Cheng Shaoshang tells the old maid that Xiao Yuanyi helped her for keeping Cheng Yang’s face. She thinks the old maid knows nobody dare to bully Cheng Yang when Xiao Yuanyi is there.

Yuan Shen throws the embroidery ball to Cheng Shaoshang. She catches it but she returns it to him after she heard someone falling into the water. Yuan Shen’s friend doesn’t expect that Cheng Shaoshang would return the embroidery ball to Yuan Shen. He walks away.
Princess Yuchang asks Ling Buyi to save her when she’s in the water. Chang Shaoshang takes a look at the water. She finds out that the water isn’t deep. She kicks the guy who tries to save Princess Yuchang. He falls into the water and looks for the person who kicked him. He finds out that the water isn’t deep as well.
Cheng Shaoshang laughs. Someone tells people that Tian family’s restaurant is on fire. Cheng Shaoshang goes to the restaurant because she left her wine at the restaurant. Ling Buyi follows her. Princess Yuchang gets angry after she saw him off.
Cheng Shaoshang gets bumped by someone. She trips. The burning shed falls to her. Ling Buyi carries Cheng Shaoshang aside. He walks away. She takes a look at him. She sees Cheng Shi. He tells her that he looked for her. She tells him that she looked for him as well. She turns around and sees Ling Buyi joining his followers.
