Hong Ning is very happy after she found out that Jin Xiu is God of Flowers in Love Never Fails Chinese Drama Episode 5. Apricot scolds Hong Ning. She thinks she’s bold. Hong Ning is moved after she remembered Jin Xiu told her that he’s God of flowers.
Apricot thinks Hong Ning isn’t qualified to attend the flowers conference. But Plum asks Jin Xiu to give Hong Ning a chance. Hong Ning shows her flower to Jin Xiu. But the flower doesn’t bloom. Apricot is very happy. Jin Xiu asks Hong Ning to leave. She sheds a tear and the tear drops on the plant. The plant blooms and it glows.
Apricot points out that it’s not flower. She thinks Hong Ning used a monster spell. Jin Xiu reveals it’s the flower of Difu Grass. He thinks it bloomed because of red camellia. Apricot asks the fairies to take Hong Ning away. But Jin Xiu thinks Hong Ning took credit.
She catches the chance to ask to be his queen. Everyone laughs. Chrysanthemum questions Hong Ning why she asked the question since she knows nothing about love. She reveals she wants to return the favor. Lu Yao mentions Jin Xiu saved her snowdrop. She asks Hong Ning if her snowdrop needs to be Jin Xiu’s wife as well. Hong Ning wonders how she returns the favor. Jin Xiu tells her to be an immortal first.
Jin Xiu returns to his palace. Kun Lun is drinking. Jin Xiu wonders how the two got out from the painting. Kun Lun reveals they burned the petals. Jin Xiu takes Kun Lun to see Heavenly Emperor and Heavenly Empress. Apricot is furious when she regrets for giving the flower invitation to Hong Ning. She runs into Lu Yao.
Apricot apologizes to Lu Yao for not doing her job well. She thinks she came to see Jin Xiu. She reveals he left. Lu Yao claims that she came to see Apricot. Jin Xiu and Kun Lun walk into the palace. They greet their parents. Heavenly Empress teases Kun Lun that he spent centuries to count the petals.
Kun Lun brags to his mother that he grew up after he experienced it. But she knows he did it for not seeing his parents. Jin Xiu explains it to Heavenly Empress that Kun Lun knows his mistake. But she mentions her son froze the whole Cangwu Mountain.
She asks Kun Lun how many petals in the painting since he was done counting. He promises the make up it. Tai Yi persuades Heavenly Emperor to arrange a job for Kun Lun. Heavenly Emperor asks Jin Xiu to take care of it. Lu Yao gives a magical stone to Apricot. Apricot knows Lu Yao will marry Jin Xiu. But Lu Yao mentions the girl confessed her feelings to God of Flowers. Apricot reveals Hong Ning is just a monster. She thinks the girl won’t stay too long.
Apricot takes the fairies to visit Jin Xiu. She asks him to drive Hong Ning away. Because she thinks Hong Ning is a monster. He points out that she was a monster as well. Plum thinks Hong Ning shouldn’t stay in flowers palace. Kun Lun asks Jin Xiu to let Hong Ning watch Wine Garden with him. But Jin Xiu sends Hong Ning to Broken Flower Garden. Apricot is very happy. But Jin Xiu punishes her. He plans to send her to Water Moon Mirror. She thinks she’s wronged. She claims that she did it for Flowers Palace. She’s taken away.
The fairy takes Hong Ning to Broken Flower Garden. She tells her that it’s a punishment. Hong Ning walks into the house. She cleans the place. She sees white camellia. Shao Yao visits Hong Ning. She thinks her friend wouldn’t be sent there if it wasn’t Apricot. But Hong Ning thinks the place is good. She decides to be training.
Plum reports to Jin Xiu that she picked some flowers except Apricot. She thinks Hong Ning will be hard to bloom if she stays in Broken Flower Garden. But he points out that taking care of broken flowers will help Hong Ning practice. He asks her to watch Kun Lun. So the guy won’t bring trouble.
Shao Yao takes care of the flowers with Hong Ning. She tells her that she needs to have feelings for Jin Xiu before she marries him. Hong Ning thinks she fell for the guy. Chrysanthemum knocks at the door. He reminds her that it’s time to get the thunderbolt. She’s not happy.
She gets the thunderbolt and she returns her house. Jin Xiu helps her fix the flower. He teaches her to awaken her spiritual power. But she tells him that she wants to stay with him. He gets angry and he thinks monsters are evil. But she thinks monsters are good. He gets angry because she questioned heavenly punishment. He leaves when she claims that she will be his queen.
Jin Xiu returns to his palace. He’s still in anger. He complains it to Chrysanthemum that he was right. He stops Chrysanthemum when Chrysanthemum tries to record it. Jin Xiu goes to Broken Flower Garden again. He finds out that Hong Ning is sleeping. He touches her face. She wakes up.
He blames her for not practicing. But she reveals she was tired. He teaches her to turn into a tree. But she turns into a peony because she misses him. She asks him to keep the promise that he will marry her. He’s shy to flee. Jin Xiu returns to his palace. His heart pounds. He tells himself that he didn’t fall for Hong Ning. He tries to throw away Junying Grass. But he cannot do that.

Hong Ning turns into Jin Xiu. She finds out that he’s different from her. She cannot turn it back. She goes to Jin Xiu’s palace. The fairy mistakes her for Jin Xiu. She reveals the goddess is waiting for her. Hong Ning is happy to go to see Lu Yao after knowing Lu Yao prepared the honey.
