Does Lu Jiming Take Care of Ning Meng?

Lu Jiming calls Ning Meng. He asks her for the contract. He finds out that she’s sick. She promises to send the contract to him. She hangs up. He finds out that the contract she sent to him wasn’t right. He calls her but she doesn’t pick up his phone.
Lu Jiming goes to see Ning Meng. He finds out that she lies in the bed. He tries to take her to the hospital. But she cannot walk. He has to carry her. Lu Jiming gets in the cab with Ning Meng. He calls Zeng Yuhang and asks him to come back to take care of Ning Meng.

But Zeng Yuhang rejects it because he has a big deal. He tells Lu Jiming to take care of Ning Meng on his own. Lu Jiming takes Ning Meng to arrive at the hospital. She’s moved when she sees him taking medicine for her. The nurse thinks Ning Meng is lucky after she saw Lu Jiming taking care of her. She mistakes Lu Jiming as Ning Meng’s boyfriend.
Ning Meng claims that Lu Jiming is just his ex-boss. He brings the water to her. She drinks the water with the medicine. But she finds out that it’s hot water. He wants to take cold water for her. She rejects it and She swallows the medicine.
Lu Jiming thinks Ning Meng is lack of exercise. He mentions she was never sick when she was his secretary. But she reveals she was sick when she prepared the speech for him. She tells him to leave. But he rejects it and gets her to drink up the water.
Lu Jiming tells Ning Meng to repay his kindness. But he finds out that she falls asleep. He puts the cold water on her table after he tasted it. She wakes up and finds out that he has taken care of her all night. She drinks the water he left.
Ning Meng tries to leave with the medicine bag. Lu Jiming wakes up. He asks her if she wants to flee. She explains that she wants to go to the restroom. He takes the medicine bag for her when she walks. She has feelings for him. But he tells her that she’s short.
Lu Jiming goes to the hotel with Ning Meng. He tells the waitress to get a room for him. He tells Ning Meng that he wants to work overtime with her. Because her illness delayed too much time.

Lu Jiming tells Yuan Jie that he care for the employees he’s going to fire. He tells him to think about those people’s livings. Yuan Jie asks Lu Jiming if he will change his mind when he resolves his problem.
