Squid Game Season 2 Episode 7 Recap: The Price of Rebellion

Player 333 (Myung-Gi) runs to the booth of the restroom for protecting himself after he killed Player 230 (Thanos). There’s a blood fight in the restroom. But the two soldiers who guard outside don’t react. The gold piggy bank is added five billion after the fight in Squid Game Season 2 Episode 7.

It means that there were five people killed. The three are the players who wanted to continue. The two are the players who wanted to quit. It seems that the vote is good to quitting side. But it means that the continuing side will have a sneak attack in the evening.

Meanwhile, there’s a guy seasick. He goes to the deck to vomit. He finds out that Captain Park is touching the drone. The guy doesn’t guard against Captain Park. So he’s shocked after he got stabbed. He’s thrown into the sea. Captain Park is a mole of Squid Game. So he could save Jun-Ho who fell into the sea after Jun-Ho was shot. Jun-Ho followed him to the island. He found nothing.

The men of the officer are going to dive for delivering the organs. The officer asks his followers to watch on No-Eul so that the woman won’t bring trouble. He asks the triangle soldiers to stand by. Because they need to suppress the riot.

It’s almost lights out. Player 388 (Dae-Ho) notes that the people of “O” Clan are planning something. Player 456 (Gi-Hun) thinks the continuing side is going to attack them. Player 001 (In-Ho) offers to attack first. But Gi-Hun goes against it. He thinks the ones they need to deal with are the people who watch the game.

He believes that they can end the game if they catch Front Man. In-Ho is silent as Front Man. I have to say that Gi-Hun is too idealistic as a not very smart ordinary person. He plans to seize the weapons of soldiers. In-Ho points out that there’re too many soldiers. But Gi-Hun doesn’t want the players to kill each other.

In-Ho has to stop persuading Gi-Hun since the guy is firm. But it’s too hard to play a big hero. I wish Gi-Hun not to regret in the future. Gi-Hun’s plan is hiding under the bed. He knows the soldiers will come to suppress after the continuing side attacks for a while. They pretend to be bodies and start a sneak attack.

The people of continuing side rush to quitting side after lights out. There’re many people who are unprepared killed. The dormitory becomes hell. Player 125 (Min-Su) is scared to pick up the glass bottle. He climbs to the elevation.

Gi-Hun hides under the bed. He watches the girl be killed. Player 124 (Nam-Gyu) finds Player 380 (Se-Mi) for taking revenge. The timid Min-Su only dares to throw glass bottle from the elevation. Se-Mi is killed by Nam-Gyu. Min-Su cries when he hides on the bed.

The soldiers walk into the dormitory for suppress the riot. They don’t expect that they were fooled by the players. Gi-Hun and his friends take the guns. They begin to shoot the soldiers. In-Ho is heartless to kill his men. Fortunately, Dae-Ho and Player 120 (Hyun-Ju) were special forces soldiers. They work well together and they suppress the soldiers.

The officer witnesses it. He summons more solders and he orders the alive soldiers in the dormitory retreat. But there’s a soldier becoming captive. Gi-Hun stops Player 047 (Byung-Su) who wants to kill the people of the continuing side. He tells the man that their enemies are outside.

Hyun-Ju shoots all cameras. He gathers the guns and the bullets on the dead bodies. Gi-Hun gives a passionate speech. He asks the players to go to the camp to catch the soldiers. There’re a few people joining him. He gives them the gun, bullets and the intercom. Hyun-Ju teaches the people how to use gun. He was a sergeant before he was retired.

The resistance begins. Gi-Hun forces the soldier to take off his mask. He asks him to take the people to go to look for Front Man. They walk on the stairs and they encounter the soldiers. Hyun-Yu gets the locations of the enemies. He lets his teammates cover him. He kills a few soldiers.

But Dae-Ho is scared to cover his ears. He doesn’t dare to shoot. There’s no casualties in the first wave. The people walk forward. Hyun-Ju shoots the cameras again. The officer orders the follower not to let the guys approach the management area.

The solder stops suddenly. Because the masks are required to pass the front. The soldier is killed. The players have a fight with the soldiers. But Gi-Hun and his friends don’t have enough bullets if they fight a long battle. Gi-Hun plans to take Player 390 (Jung-Bae) to go to look for the control room.

He asks In-Ho to find a way to deal with the enemies. I have to say he chose a right person. Gi-Hun takes the mask walking into the room with Jung-Bae. They open the doors one by one. But they don’t find the entrance. Gi-Hun notes the camera on the wall. He wears the mask. The camera scans him.

A path appears in front of Gi-Hun and Jung-Bae. They walk into the management area. Gi-Hun reports it to In-Ho. But they encounter the enemies. Gi-Hun is fast to react. He kills one of the enemies. He uses the mask as bait then. Jung-Bae catches the chance to kill another enemy. He finds the bullets from pocket of the dead body. They walk forward. But there’re many enemies on the way to the control room. The two sides have a firefight.

Meanwhile, the fight on the stairs continues. But the players’ bullets are fewer and fewer. Hyun-Ju asks everybody to report the margin of the bullets. They’re almost out of bullets. Jung-Bae contacts In-Ho. He asks him for his support. Because there’re too many enemies.

Gi-Hun is told that the bullets aren’t enough. He reminds In-Ho that there’re bullets in the pockets of the soldiers. In-Ho takes three players to go to support Gi-Hun. The rest players guard the place. Dae-Ho volunteers to go to the dormitory to take bullets.

Hyun-Ju agrees to the guy’s plan. He gives his gun to Dae-Ho. Dae-Ho is flustered to return to the dormitory. He begins to take out the bullets from the pocket of the dead body. Player 007 (Yong-Sik) helps Dae-Ho. Dae-Ho completes the job. He begins to leave the dormitory. But he stops after he saw something. His body shakes.

In-Ho takes two players to join Gi-Hun. Gi-Hun asks In-Ho to go to look for another path. Because the path is hard. In-Ho reveals there’s a path behind them. He takes two players to the place behind the soldiers. He asks the two to walk forward. But he kills them.

He used the bullets Gi-Hun gave him killed the players. It’s too ironic. In-Ho contacts Gi-Hun. He pretends that the three were killed with the intercom. He changes a channel and he asks his followers to take action. Hyun-Ju cannot reach Dae-Ho. So he goes to the dormitory. He finds out that Dae-Ho became a fool who only knows to say sorry.

Hyun-Ju tries to leave with the bullets. But many soldiers come to the dormitory. Hyun-Ju tries to fight with the soldiers. But Player 149 (Geum-Ja) stops him. Meanwhile, Player 246 (Kyung-Suk) and other two players are out of bullets. They surrender to the soldiers. They’re killed.

Gi-Hun and Jung-Bae are forced to surrender. Front Man asks Gi-Hun if it was fun to play a hero. But the one he kills is Jung-Bae. Because it will make Gi-Hun suffer more.
