Eun-Tae arrives at the company in The Ordinary Jackpot episode 1. He announces that they will have a meeting. But Jun-Ho wants to drink coffee first. Eun-Tae asks the employees to follow the rules. The meeting ends. Seon-Hyeok walks Eun-Tae. He thinks Jun-Ho is a troublemaker. But Eun-Tae believes that Jun-Ho is going through a tough time. It’s hard to listen to the one who’s younger than him.
Eun-Tae asks Seon-Hyeok about the topic of the meeting. Seon-Hyeok doesn’t know. He doesn’t understand the top management’s idea. The two get in the meeting room. The boss asks Eun-Tae to take on the brand Laknes. Seon-Hyeok mentions he told Eun-Tae not to take on it. He doesn’t understand why he gave in.
The beauty meets Mr. Kim. She gives a scarf to him. But he asks her to share something with him. Because he knows Seon-Hyeok is helping Eun-Tae.
On the roof, Seon-Hyeok tells Eun-Tae that Director wants Laknes. It’s a done deal. But only he would take on without complaint. They want to let Mr. Kim promoted. But Mr. Kim didn’t do a good job. So they need to take away Eun-Tae’s good brands. Everyone thinks Seon-Hyeok doesn’t care who Eun-Tae gives the brands to. Eun-Tae offers to give a brand to Seon-Hyeok since he’s so discouraged. Eun-Tae tells Seon-Hyeok that he wishes the brands he’s in charge of grows in other teams. He wishes his children meet good families. Seon-Hyeok asks Eun-Tae why he didn’t take a stand. He says he cannot take on Laknes. Eun-Tae says he thinks he’s the only one who can take care of Laknes. He mentions Seon-Hyeok doesn’t want to do it. Seon-Hyeok agrees with what Eun-Tae. He persuades him to think about his poor team. They took on the brands that nobody wanted, and they worked hard on it. After the brands are on track, but they need to give up the brands. Eun-Tae asks Seon-Hyeok is he comforting him? Seon-Hyeok says he just pities Eun-Tae.
After work, Jun-Ho and the colleague want to go to the Barbecue Restaurant to eat. The girl Ji-Hye invites Eun-Tae to join them. But he rejects it. She leaves the office with other colleagues.
Ji-Hye and Jun-Ho eat grilled meat at the restaurant. He promises her that he will help her stay at the company. Eun-Tae gets off work. He runs into the lady Hae-Joo. They go to a restaurant to have dinner. She doesn’t want understand why he lets Jun-Ho play team leader. He says goodbye with her at the subway. She complains it to him that he only talks work with her.
The next day, Jun-Ho runs into the girl Jo-Hee at the subway. She tells him about the Brand Reorganization. He goes to the office. He asks Eun-Tae for a talk. He asks him to explain why he gave the brands to other teams. Eun-Tae says that they need to focus on Laknes. Jun-Ho thinks it’s too much. He mentions the brands they were in charge of weren’t good. Now they need to take on Laknes that failed. He wonders can the team members be overlooked since the team leader doesn’t have much influence?
Eun-Tae asks Jun-Ho does he think he wants to lose the brands that he has been in charge of? Jun-Ho offers to keep the projects together. Eun-Tae should do something if he wants them to trust him.
Seon-Hyeok joins Eun-Tae on the roof. He guesses Jun-Ho just talked back to Eun-Tae. But Eun-Tae thinks what Jun-Ho said is right. Team leader is useless if he loses the trust of the team. Seon-Hyeok asks Eun-Tae what he will do if Jun-Ho confronts him. He thinks he should fight back. Eun-Tae asks Seon-Hyeok if he saw him angry. He says he wouldn’t yell when he got angry. Because he needs to clean up the mess after he yells. He thinks he should do something.
Eun-Tae visits Director. He asks him to give Laknes to another team. Director laughs. He learns that Eun-Tae is discouraged because he’s going to take on Laknes. He guesses Jun-Ho is complaining. He thinks he would be the only one who complained. Eun-Tae points out that everyone disagrees with the plan. Director asks Eun-Tae if he wants to be manipulated by them. He accepts it if he cannot do it. He can give it to other teams. But the truth isn’t so.
He can do it, it’s just his men don’t want to do it. So he came in, and he needed to take a deep breath. Does he let him be team leader to let him do something easily? Eun-Tae tells Director that he never thought so. But Director knows Eun-Tae thinks so. It’s very simple to do something that he’s good at. As long as he’s very smart, everyone can make it. Director tells Eun-Tae that he gives the job to him. Because he trusts him. Eun-Tae is right that it will be very hard. His team members will complain. But as long as he gives an order, they will complete it. If he does a good job, it will be his credit.
Eun-Tae returns to his office. Jun-Ho leaves the office with Ki-Tae and Ji-Hye. In the evening, Eun-Tae goes to the convenience store to buy beer. He gets a lottery ticket.
Eun-Tae eats meat at home. He gets a call from his mother. She asks him did he eat? He says he’s eating. She wants to mail some foods to him. He rejects it. Because he has the foods that she mailed. She asks him to give his brother 5 million won. A few drunks fought when his brother was on duty. He went to stop them. Someone fell and he hurt his back. The guy asks his brother to pay for the medical expenses. But his brother is broke.
Eun-Tae promises his mother that he will call his brother. But she goes against it. His brother doesn’t know she contacts him. Eun-Tae says his brother knows it.
Eun-Tae calls his brother. He asks him does he need money? His brother realizes that mother told it to him. Eun-Tae asks his brother is 5 million won enough? His brother says it’s enough. He will repay it to Eun-Tae soon. Eun-Tae asks his brother when he will do it. He asks him does he know how much money he lent to him? He reminds him that they’re a family. They shouldn’t hold each other back.
The next day, Eun-Tae wakes up. He goes for a run, and he studies in the academy. He returns home, and he cleans the house. He sleeps on the couch. He dries his clothes. He watches TV and he has dinner. He checks the lottery ticket. He finds out that he wins the lottery.
Hae-Joo works in the office. The boss leaves. She gets off work. She goes to Eun-Tae’s office to check if he’s there. She tries to contact the guy. But she gives up the mind. She leaves the company, and she walks on the street. She sees someone. She smiles to walk to him.
