Xiao Qiao cries when she received the message of her grandfather’s death. She regrets for not seeing her grandfather one last time in The Prisoner of Beauty Chinese Drama Episode 5. Chun Niang comforts Xiao Qiao that they’re going to return to Kang City. But Xiao Qiao stops the maid before she goes to pack stuff.
Xiao Qiao is firm. She thinks she shouldn’t go home because she doesn’t achieve her goal. Mr. Chen visits Wei Shao. Wei Shao learns that Qiao Gui is dead. He’s very happy. The generals don’t want to forgive the old man even if he passed away. Gongsun Yang persuades the generals not to remember the resentment. But Wei Xiao wants to know the reason why Yan State sent them the message of Qiao Gui’s death. He suspects Qiao family doesn’t wish Xiao Qiao to get married.
Wei Shao wonders if Xiao Qiao knew it. Gongsun Yang tells Wei Shao that the guy Zheng Pu didn’t leak it. Wei Shao meets with Xiao Qiao by the lake. He knows she has read the letter. He asks her if she wants to marry him. He thinks Qiao family doesn’t know their plan. She claims that her grandfather won’t blame her because the marriage is his wish. Wei Shao turns around. He looks at Xiao Qiao. He remembers he attended his grandfather’s wedding. He goes to hunt.
Wei Shao visits Xiao Qiao with the lynx. The people prepare for the wedding outside. Xiao Qiao takes her women to pay their respect to her grandfather. She takes a bath and she gets changed. She thinks her grandfather won’t blame her.
Wei Shao takes his men to pay their respect to his dead family in the hall. Xiao Qiao shows up outside with the wedding dress. He’s asked to welcome the bride. But he doesn’t move because he’s missing his dead family. He’s going to marry the daughter of his enemy. What will his dead family think?
Gongsun Yang reminds Wei Shao. It makes the guy turn around. Xiao Qiao holds a peacock feather fan to walk into the hall with her maids. The generals of Wei Nation stare at her. They grab their fists tightly. Xiao Qiao trips. Wei Shao holds her up.
The two face each other. They greet each other. Xiao Qiao removes the fan. Wei Shao takes over the fan. He hands it over to the maid. They wash hands together. But he refuses to eat and drink with her. Because he knows his dead family is look at him. The wedding is over.
The generals have a banquet in the yard. They look very sad. Gongsun Yang cheers them up that it’s their master’s wedding. Wei Shao walks into the wedding room. Xiao Qiao is waiting for him. He asks her to remove the clothes and the head ornament. He promises not to hurt her no matter what he does to Qiao family. Because they’re couple. But he asks her not to be the daughter of Qiao family. He leaves the wedding room. She cries. I think he’s too heartless to the bride. You know she doesn’t go to see her grandfather for him. But he’s rude to her and he doesn’t care for her as her husband. I can imagine how terrible Xiao Qiao’s life is after she got married. But she has to accept it because it’s her fate. She chooses to save the whole family.
Wei Shao goes to see his dead family when Gongsun Yang is drinking in the yard. Chun Niang persuades Xiao Qiao to be the daughter-in-law of Wei family since Wei Shao has promised her. But Xiao Qiao claims that she will consider for Qiao family because she’s the daughter of family forever. She thinks the truth cannot be changed. Chun Niang reminds Xiao Qiao that they cannot worship her grandfather after they reach Wei Nation. She leaves with Xiao Zao.
The army moves in the mountain. Xiao Qiao and her maids are in the carriage. She opens the curtains and she takes a look at Wei Shao who rides a horse. The carriage stops when it’s raining. Xiao Tao wants to go to get some water for Xiao Qiao. She hands over her umbrella to her mother Chun Niang. She runs away.
Chun Niang worries that the hurry will affect Xiao Qiao’s injury. But Xiao Qiao knows the soldiers wish to go home. She thinks she can take a break after she reaches Fishing City. She gets in the carriage. The general walks Wei Shao. He persuades him not to let the army move forward. Because he knows there’s a swamp waiting for them. But Wei Shao doesn’t want to delay because he wishes to catch up the sacrifice of his father and brother. Gongsun Yang reminds Wei Shao that Xiao Qiao was hurt. Wei Shao chooses to move forward.
Xiao Zao asks Wei Liang to carry a basin. He thinks she’s rude to him because he saved her before. He asks her not to go to get water because they need to move forward. She’s furious to yell him because she thinks she won’t delay it. Xiao Qiao stops the maid. The maid is furious to throw water on Wei Liang.
Wei Shao arrives in Fishing City with his army. The guards of the city gate welcome him. Wei Shao’s cousin Zheng Chuyu is waiting for him. She claims that she has waited for him for half a month. He doesn’t care what she has paid. He asks her about the clansmen instead. She reveals everyone came except Wei Dian.
Wei Liang gets angry after knowing the guy doesn’t come. He thinks he did it with an intention. Zheng Chuyu is surprised that she doesn’t see Xiao Qiao. Wei Shao reveals he let his wife stay outside the city. He asks her to go to pick up his wife after the sacrifice. He orders the four generals to stay. He leaves with other soldiers.
Wei Liang isn’t happy with Wei Shao’s order. He thinks he should have left. Wei Xiao asks Wei Liang to play a game with him. Wei Liang rejects it because he knows he will lose. Zheng Chuyu looks at the carriage. She has an eye contact with Xiao Qiao. She has a plan.
Xiao Tao complains that Wei Shao let them stay outside. Chun Niang blames Wei Shao for being mean to Xiao Qiao. But Xiao Qiao takes her husband’s side. She thinks they should enter the city because it’s the sacrifice of Wei Shao’s family.
Wei Shao walks into the ancestral hall. He pays his respect to his dead family. He remembers everyone thought he shouldn’t sit on throne. Because he was too short. He was furious to cut off the legs of the throne. He sat on the throne when he held a sword. The lord Wei Dian didn’t support Wei Shao. He thought the kid cannot take revenge because he cries when he sees blood. Wei Shao cuts his hand with the sword. His hand began to bleed. Mrs. Xu stopped the people while she showed up. She accepted Wei Shao as their master. Everyone followed her. Wei Shao swore to kill Li Su and Qiao family. The kid shouldered two much. He learns the reason why he hates Qiao family. His family forced him to remember the revenge. But it’s unfair to Xiao Qiao if he keeps having the resentment.
Wei Shao’s mother Mrs. Zhu blames Wei Shao for marrying the daughter of their enemy. She thinks she has no face to see her husband. Mrs. Xu claims that she told Wei Shao to do that. Mrs. Zhu gets angry when she thinks her son should kill Qiao Gui in person. She cries. Mrs. Xu asks her followers to take Mrs. Zhu away for making her not be sad too much.
But Wei Dian stops the followers. Because he thinks Mrs. Zhu said nothing wrong. Wei Shao reminds his uncle that he’s late. But Wei Dian thinks Wei Lun won’t blame him. He tells Wei Shao that his grandfather won’t be happy with it after he married the daughter of their enemy. He mentions Wei Shao promised to kill Qiao family. The man explains that Wei Shao have killed Li Su. But Wei Dian thinks Wei Lun won’t close his eyes. He asks Wei Shao for an explanation.
Wei Shao summons Gongsun Yang. Gongsun Yang walks into the hall with the city seal. He tells Wei Dian that Wei Shao got Panyi without paying anything. But Wei Dian questions Wei Shao why he didn’t take Kang City. Wei Shao mentions he sent many letters to Wei Dian after he took Capital City. He blames the guy for not going to support him. Wei Dian claims that he didn’t receive any letter. Wei Shao doesn’t believe his uncle. He wants to look into it. He reveals he did it for fixing Yongning Channel. He wants to wait ten years for taking the revenge.
It’s pouring. Xiao Tao wants to get off the carriage. Because she thinks they shouldn’t be wronged. But Xiao Qiao decides to endure it. She chooses to trust her man. She coughs. Xiao Tao and Xiao Zao get off the carriage for hanging the rain tarp. Xiao Qiao falls asleep in Chun Niang’s arms. Wei Liang sees the two girls trying to hang the rain tarp. He asks Wei Duo to go to take a fire pot. I mistake that he’s going to help Xiao Tao. But he enjoys the fire with other generals. The man is selfish. How can he let the girls suffer?
Xiao Tao runs to Wei Liang. She asks him to let them enter the city because the lady is sick. He takes a look at Zheng Chuyu. She disallows him to do that. He drives Xiao Tao away. A group of soldiers appears. They were asked to send the girls to Yan State.
Xiao Tao goes against it. She claims that Xiao Qiao is the princess of Wei Nation. But she’s told that Xiao Qiao isn’t the princess anymore. She receives a divorce paper. Wei Xiao witnesses the soldiers driving the girls. He thinks Wei Shao has no reason to do that since he married Xiao Qiao. He asks Wei Liang to go to report it to Wei Shao.
The servant Xiao Tan reports to Wei Shao that Wei Liang asked for a meeting up. Wei Shao is surprised. Because he forgets the follower. Xiao Tan reveals the general has taken care of Xiao Qiao outside the city. He adds that the lady is sick because of the rainstorm.
Wei Shao wonders why there was nobody letting the people in since the sacrifice was over. Xiao Tan knows nothing about it. Zheng Chuyu eavesdrops on the conversation. She explains it to Wei Shao that she didn’t let Xiao Qiao enter the city because his mother gave the divorce paper to the girl. He’s furious to yell at her.
The soldiers move Xiao Qiao’s carriage. Xiao Tao try to stop them. But she’s pushed over. She gets on her knees to the three generals. She asks them to let their master know it. But she’s told that they have done it. They mention she was mean to them. She cries and she reminds them that Xiao Qiao helped them. She thinks her lady will die if she returns to Yan State.

Wei Xiao tries to take the generals to go to stop the carriage even if he knows he will be punished. But he sees Wei Shao riding horse out of the city. Wei Shao catches the carriage and he beats the soldier. He learns that it was his mother’s order. He tells the soldiers to get lost.

He opens the curtain of the carriage. He sees his woman falling asleep in the carriage. Chun Niang cries to reveal that Xiao Qiao has a fever. She begs the man to save Xiao Qiao. Wei Shao carries Xiao Qiao out of the carriage. He looks at her when she falls asleep in his arms. He walks in the rain.
