When I Fly Towards You: Episode 9 Recap & Ending

Su Zaizai reaches out her hand to Dou Dou. But he rejects it because he wishes to hold Zhang Lurang’s hand. He tells Zhang Lurang that Su Zaizai wishes to eat him. He mentions Su Zaizai’s looks when she looked at the fish. Su Zaizai explains to Dou Dou that she did it because she likes Zhang Lurang very much.
Su Zaizai takes Dou Dou away. Zhang Lurang laughs. The teacher thanks Su Zaizai and Zhang Lurang for helping her for find the kid. She gives the pendants to Su Zaizai. Su Zaizai tells Zhang Lurang that she saw the looks of them ten years later when he held Dou Dou’s hand.
Zhang Lurang tells Su Zaizai not to put the kid’s words into her mind. She’s happy to hand over the pendant to him. The students talk about the end of the world in the classroom. The teacher stops them. She tells them to prepare for the exam.
Su Zaizai asks Zhang Lurang about his most regrettable thing if the end of the world comes. He tells her that he regrets for not coming to Jiangyi early. She agrees to what he said. She wishes to know him early. She thinks they have plenty of time.
Su Zaizai thinks it’s good to know Zhang Lurang even if the end of the world comes. Madam Su brings the fruits to Su Zaizai. She tells her to eat on the way. But Su Zaizai refuses to accept the fruits because she thinks her suitcase is full.
Madam Su takes out the junk food from Su Zaizai’s suitcase. She reminds her that she doesn’t go to go on a trip. Master Su tells his wife to let the kid eat because Su Zaizai doesn’t eat it each day. Madam Su hands over the fruits to Jiang Jia.
Master Su plans to give Su Zaizai and Jiang Jia a ride. Su Zaizai rejects it because she thinks they can catch the train. Master Su and Madam Su leave Su Zaizai’s room. Su Zaizai thinks she’s going to go on a trip with Zhang Lurang. But Jiang Jia points out that there’re many students.
Su Zaizai wonders why Jiang Jia isn’t excited. Jiang Jia points out that Su Zaizai is excited because of Zhang Lurang. She complains to her that Qian Yu doesn’t go to take the exam. Su Zaizai wonders when Jiang Jia is going to give the stars to Qian Yu.
Jiang Jia thinks it’s not the right time. She worries that Qian Yu won’t accept her stars. Su Zaizai tells Jiang Jia to give the stars to Qian Yu again if he rejects it. But Jiang Jia doesn’t have the guts like Su Zaizai. Su Zaizai lets Zhang Lurang to take the blame that he’s too outstanding.
Jiang Jia thinks Su Zaizai praised Zhang Lurang too much. Su Zaizai asks Jiang Jia if Qian Yu has flaw in her mind. Jiang Jia thinks Qian Yu is too perfect. Zhang Lurang calls Su Zaizai because she doesn’t come. But she doesn’t pick up his phone.
Jiang Jia wakes up. She finds out that they’re late. Su Zaizai tries to go to the train station. But Jiang Jia asks Su Zaizai if she plans to go to the train station with her legs. She decides to take the bus. Su Zaizai texts Zhang Lurang and comforts him that they’re going to take the bus.
But Su Zaizai is told that it’s evening when she arrives at the place. Jiang Jia tells Su Zaizai to sleep. Su Zaizai complains to Jiang Jia that she missed the train. Zhang Lurang intends to go to the bus station. Gu Ran volunteers to join Zhang Lurang after he heard that Jiang Jia is going to come.
Episode 9 of When I Fly Towards You ends with Su Zaizai sees Zhang Lurang talking with the girl. She tries to avoid him. But he stops her. She explains to him that she’s going to go to Jiang Jia’s room. She tells him to continue the talk with the girl.
When I Fly Towards You: Episode 10 Recap & Ending
Su Zaizai gets on the train with Zhang Lurang. Jiang Jia reminds the people that it’s the end of the world. The classmate texts his grandma to tell her the end of the world. He cries because he wishes to be her grandson in his next life. But he’s scolded by his grandma.
Su Zaizai wakes up. She sees Zhang Lurang who falls asleep. She smiles and continues to sleep. He wakes up and sees her. He smiles as well. Gu Ran wakes up. He moves his shoulder to Jiang Jia to side so that she can lean her head on his shoulder.
Jiang Jia wakes up. She blames Gu Ran for putting his shoulder next to her head. But he thinks she should thank him for letting her lean her head on his shoulder. The end of the world is going to come. Su Zaizai takes out a camera. She thinks they should leave something.
Su Zaizai films the classmates. They speak out their last wishes before the end of the world comes. Zhang Lurang puts her earphone into Su Zaizai’s ear. She has an eye contact with him when others are excited that the end of the world doesn’t come.
The teacher doesn’t arrange the homework after the class. Because she thinks her students need to take a break. Guan Fang is excited. He tells Gu Ran to go to play basketball with him. But the classmate asks Guan Fang to be on duty for him. Guan Fang agrees to it.
Gu Ran walks Zhang Lurang. He thinks Wang Hao is going to escape when he needs to be on duty. He thinks Guan Fang has a good temper. He confesses that he would pretend to agree to it. He thinks he should give Wang Hao a lesson. Jiang Jia thinks there’re many evil ideas in Gu Ran’s belly.
Su Zaizai tells Gu Ran that it’s not a good thing that Guan Fang is kind. He mentions Guan Fang didn’t get angry when Liu Quan threw away his basketball. Jiang Jia thinks Guan Fang is easy to be bullied. She decides to go to persuade Guan Fang since they’re going to go to his family to have a meal.
Grandma Guan is happy to bring the food to Guan Fang’s classmates. But the two customers tell Grandma Guan that her food spoiled. Guan Fang lets his grandma to leave the case to him. He gives the cash to the customers after they ask for the compensation.
But Guan Fang asks the two customers to return the cash to him after he took them to leave his family restaurant. He beats them. Gu Ran worries that Guang Fang would be bullied by the two thugs. He goes to look for Guan Fang. The thug returns the cash to Guan Fang. They promise not to come to the restaurant again.
Gu Ran joins Guan Fang. He lets the thugs apologize to Guan Fang. He tells them to get lost. Jiang Jia runs to Gu Ran. She’s surprised that Gu Ran is so outstanding. Guan Fang thanks Gu Ran for helping him. He returns home. Grandma Guan lets Guan Fang come to her because she thinks he went to have a fight.
Guan Fang tells his grandma that he doesn’t like to fight. She explains to him that she just worried about him. She mentions he always had injuries when he returned home. He tells her that he did it because he was young. She tells him that she likes all of his classmates because she thinks they’re good kids.
Wang Hao tries to leave the classroom. Gu Ran reminds Wang Hao that he needs to clean the classroom for Guan Fang. Wang Hao explains to Guan Fang that his relatives came. He asks him to be on duty for him. Guan Fang tries to agree to it.
But Zhang Lurang and Gu Ran stare at Guan Fang. Guan Fang has to reject Wang Hao. Guan Fang runs into the thugs. The thug reports to his older brother that Guan Fang robbed their money. The chief thug blames Guan Fang for bullying his brothers.
The chief thug threatens Guan Fang that they will visit his grandma if he leaves. Gu Ran mentions Guan Fang has changed. Jiang Jia thinks their lesson was effective. Su Zaizai agrees to what Jiang Jia said. She thinks they saved Guan Fang’s rest life.
Episode 10 of When I Fly Towards You ends with Zhang Lurang handing over his gloves to Su Zaizai because he’s not cold. She wears the gloves and thinks his gloves are special. She stares at him because she thinks she cannot see him for a long time after he returns to Suyang.
