Bai Fengxi is in the carriage with Feng Lanxi. She takes a look at outside. She finds out that some people are tailing them. Feng Lanxi thinks those people were sent by Yong King. He tells Bai Fengxi to ignore them. He adds that he wants to get into the palace of You State.
Feng Lanxi tells Bai Fengxi that Yong King will release Bai Jiande once he finds out he’s the one who can be trusted. Feng Lanxi tells Bai Fengxi that he prepared a present for Hua Chunran. She thinks he can pass the test once he gets trusted by Hua Chunran. But she points out that it won’t be easy.

Bai Fengxi thinks she’s the right person who can be close to Hua Chunran. Feng Lanxi tells Bai Fengxi that he doesn’t want her to do the thing she doesn’t like to do. He mentions Bai Jiande is in the jail. Bai Fengxi thinks Feng Qiwu can protect her master. He tells Feng Lanxi that she wants to help him.
The maid dresses up for Hua Chunran. She thinks she’s the most beautiful girl. She tells her that Feng Lanxi and Huang Chao arrived. Hua Chunran goes to the garden. Bai Fengxi shows up with Hei Fengxi. They flatter Hua Chunran. Hua Chunran recognize the two. She asks them why they visited her.
Bai Fengxi tells Hua Chunran that they have no place to stay because of her proposal. Hua Chunran tells Bai Fengxi to live in her palace. Hei Fengxi tells Hua Chunran that he prepared a present for her. He gives her the confession papers of the mother and the son who kidnapped her.
But Hua Chunran worries that Hei Fengxi wants to get something from her. Bai Fengxi comforts Hua Chunran that they just want to be her friend. Hei Fengxi tells Hua Chunran that they want to help her rule the world. She smiles to walk away.
Hua Chunran has meal with You King. She tells him that she felt painful when she though about her maid Hong Er. She leaks that she caught the mother and the son who killed Hong Er. She adds that they confessed that they were sent by Crown Prince.
Crown Prince tries to explain it. Hua Chunran smiles. She tells You King that she doesn’t believe that her elder brother would want her to die. She adds that she burned up the letter. You King tells Crown Prince to be nice to Hua Chunran.
Bai Fengxi walks Hei Fengxi. She thinks Hua Chunran didn’t use the letter. Hei Fengxi points out that Hua Chunran attacked Crown Prince and pretended to be innocent. He thinks the beauty is very sly. He worries about Bai Fengxi. But she thinks she can handle Hua Chunran because the beauty needs friends.

The eunuch thinks Feng Lanxi is loyal to Yong King since he lost his martial arts. But Yong King thinks Feng Lanxi has the plan he doesn’t know. The eunuch worries that Feng Lanxi will unite with You State to deal with Yong State. Yong King laughs. He tells the eunuch that he has a plan as well.
