The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3: Episode 5 Recap

Conrad works on the rooftop in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 episode 5. He cannot focus because he keeps thinking of Belly. Belly shows up. She says good morning to Conrad. The hammer falls from the roof when she wonders what he’s doing. She tries to go to pick up the hammer. She’s told that he has another one. He gets a call from Adam. Adam learns that his son is working on the rooftop. He wants to hire a worker. But Conrad rejects it. Adam mentions Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding. He thinks it’s absurd.

But Conrad takes Belly and Jeremiah’s side in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3. He thinks the two love each other. Adam threatens to stop the wedding. Conrad reminds his father that he will lose Jeremiah if he does that. He hangs up. Conrad watches Belly swim in the pool. He decides not to miss the girl until she gets married. Taylor waits for Jeremiah outside Adam’s company. Jeremiah walks out of the building. He tells the girl that she needs to wait for him for one hour. She gets angry after she heard what he said.

Taylor Dresses Up for Steven

Jeremiah knows Taylor dressed up for Steven. Unfortunately, the guy went to New York. Steven shows up. Taylor sees him. She thinks Jeremiah told a lie to her in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3. He guesses the guy came because he heard Adam is in the office. Taylor sees Denise. She asks Jeremiah about the girl. He reveals the girl and Steven fought for the position of office leader. Denise walks away after knowing Steven’s ex-girlfriend came to see Steven. Steven wonders why Taylor came to his company.

Jeremiah explains it to his friend that the girl wants to take him to Cousins. He leaves after he and Taylor agreed on a meeting place. Steven learns that Taylor and Belly have a big wedding plan. He worries about Taylor. But the girl claims that she’s fine. She thanks him for helping her mother. But he wonders where she got the money. She jokes with him. He figures it out that she used the money she saved. She offers to have a meeting at the wedding. She leaves.

Belly And Conrad Stay Together Alone

Taylor calls Belly. She apologizes to her that she cannot come to Cousins this weekend. But Belly needs Taylor. Taylor explains it to Belly that someone will come to check the salon. So she has to be there. She reveals Steven will come to the shower. Belly worries that Taylor will feel uneasy if Steven comes. Taylor learns that Belly is living with Conrad.

Conrad returns to the house. Belly is warm to welcome him. But it startles him. She finds out that he’s very busy. He sees her enjoying the breakfast. She mistakes that he wants to eat her food. So she tells him that it’s the last one. He reveals he left fruit and cereal for her. But she doesn’t want to touch his stuff. He questions her why she didn’t ask him about it. She explains it to him that she didn’t find an opportunity because he was fixing the house. She wonders when he will return to California. She feels regret because he cannot attend her and Jeremiah’s wedding.

Belly Goes to Buy Wedding Cake

Steven works with Jeremiah in the office. He asks Jeremiah when his father will leave. Jeremiah isn’t sure. Steven laughs. He reminds the boy that he needs to leave. Jeremiah denies it. Because he knows the train will leave after 45 minutes. Denise cannot stand it. Because she’s a very punctual person. She walks away. Jeremiah sees that the girl has feelings for Steven. So he teases Steven. Denise comes back. She wonders what the boys were talking about. They reveal they were just talking about work. Adam shows up. He asks one of the three to do a job for him. Steven volunteers to stay. Because he wants to win his father’s heart.

Belly is waiting Jeremiah at home. He sends a message to her. He reveals he cannot come home because he needs to work. She goes to look for the car key. She asks Conrad about it. The boy shows up with the key. He reveals he’s going to leave. She asks him to take her because she wants to go shopping. But he rejects it. So she plans to go to ride her bike.

Conrad Accompanies Belly to Buy Flowers

Conrad sees Belly riding away on her bicycle. He remembers he taught the girl to ride a bicycle. He wants to help her like he did before. But he realizes that it’s not his duty anymore. Steven runs into Denise on the train. Denise thinks they shouldn’t abandon Jeremiah. Belly arrives at the store. She wants to buy a wedding cake. But the cake is too expensive. She texts Jeremiah. She wishes to talk with him about the cake. He rejects it because he needs to work for his father.

Jeremiah walks into Adam’s office. Adam is surprised that his son didn’t to to Cousins. Jeremiah apologizes to his father for not completing the work. Adam doesn’t scold his son because he knows it was Denise’s mistake. Conrad drives his car to look for Belly on the street. He finds her in front of the store. He volunteers to give her a ride because she bought a lot of things. She agrees to it. But she wants to drive the car. She lets him carry her bicycle into the trunk.

Belly and Conrad are in the car. Belly brings up that Conrad got angry after Jeremiah took away his stamp. She asks him to go to a place with her. He cannot reject her because he loves her. They go to the flower shop. Belly wants to buy some peony flowers. But it’s expensive. Conrad suggests that Belly should use his mother’s flowers. She agrees to his plan. They return to the car. She tastes the cake. She reveals she couldn’t afford the double layer cake. He suggests that she should buy a single-layer cake.

Jeremiah Doesn’t Like The Cake Plan

Jeremiah calls Belly. He tells her that she will be late. She offers to change the cake plan. But he insists on eating dark chocolate. He hangs up when Adam summons him. Conrad knows Belly is very sad after knowing her boyfriend cannot come. She complains it to him that she shouldered everything. He offers to go to Michaels. She wipes off her tears. She doesn’t believe what he said. He thinks they should get benefits from the big firm. It makes her laugh.

Adam and Jeremiah are in the office. Jeremiah just saved the company. Adam praises his son. He knows Jeremiah needs to go to see Belly. So he lets him be off duty. He asks Jeremiah to hold the wedding at his club. Jeremiah is very happy. Adam gives his son a hug. Belly and Conrad are on the way to Michaels. They find out that they’re changed. But it’s a very good change. Steven and Denise are still on the train. He notices that she’s playing a game. He reveals the game was designed by him.

Belly and Conrad go to Michaels. Belly only wants to buy some vases. But Conrad finds some cheap flowers. He offers to buy the flowers. She’s happy to take his advice. They’re on the way to the summer house. He confesses it to her that he was fired. She learns that he was fired when Steven was at the hospital. She feels sorry because she thinks it was her mistake to call him. But he knows it was his problem. She comforts him. She tells him that he will be the best doctor.

Conrad Approaches Belly

Belly is hungry. She sees the peaches. Conrad parks the car. They get off the car. She asks him to eat the peach. But he rejects it because he’s allergic to peaches. He watches her eat the peach. He cleans her face with his T-shirt. She offers to buy some peaches for Jeremiah. It makes him realize that she’s his brother’s fiancee. Steven and Denise play the game together. They’re told that Jeremiah found the problem. They’re going to go to the game conference. Denise offers to take the bus together. Steven agrees to it.

Conrad and Belly return to the summer house in the evening. She opens the window. He knows he shouldn’t have approach her. She’s hungry. So he opens the fridge. He plans to cook for her. But she wants to ask him one question. It makes him nervous. She tells him that she doesn’t want to eat roast chicken. He smiles. He claims that he only knows to cook roast chicken. They make dinner together.

Belly drinks with Conrad. She brings up the artificial flowers he picked. She reveals she told her mother to throw away the artificial flowers. He remembers she sneaked into his room when he was in the room alone. He suggested that she shouldn’t do that because he worried that Laurel will find it out. But she lay in his arms. She told him that his mother will be fine. But he knew the truth. They kissed passionately.

Conrad Gave Up Belly for A Promise

Conrad looks at Belly’s smile. He regrets for giving up the girl. He knows he would have dinner with her many times if he didn’t hurt her. But Jeremiah ruins Conrad’s sweet dream when he comes back. Belly is happy to run to her boyfriend. Jeremiah reveals Adam will come to their wedding after he did something good. Conrad walks away because he doesn’t want to see another man touching his girl.

Belly and Jeremiah are outside. They sit on the bench. They snuggle up together. Belly guesses Laurel will come to the wedding since Adam agreed to come. Jeremiah reveals the wedding will be held at Adam’s company. She goes against it because it’s their wedding. He convinces his girlfriend in the end. They dance together when they play the music. Conrad watches the two in his room. He remembers he promised his mother. Susannah was weak to lie on the couch. She asked Conrad to take care of his brother. He cried because he knew his mother will die soon. So he told Belly that he doesn’t love her. She chose Jeremiah in the end.
